Match of the Millennium

Description: News of Koto's fight against a hulking behemoth spreads rapidly through the rival schools and the truth is often deformed. Enraged by the fact this professional fighter decided to pick on and bully a weaker fighter for his points in the league, Ayane decides to pay him a visit to teach him a lesson about bullying...

[ABIGAIL]
Well it's been an interesting holiday diversion from his massive list of back orders and the usual glut of happenings back in Metro City. Instead, Metro City homeboy, Abigail, decided to take a break from all that as, upon reviewing the Neo League boards, he realized he wasn't dominating them and that's just plain unacceptable! Between the Saturday Night Fights, Neo League, and running a junkyard and modding shop ..it's just so hard to keep with it all. And that's inbetween eating 25,000+ calories throughout a day, working out and driving Monster Trucks everywhere there's just not enough time in the week..

But he'll always make time to beat someone into the ground and upon seeing Koto's name a confused, "Whose that!?" is later followed by a booking a sea based passage to Japan and Southtown to find out for himself. Why sea? Well how else is he going to drive his truck over there!? Nevermind that the last time he had it here it was because it had been stolen.

Either way, Abigail's work is done. He expected an easy fight but Koto actually surprised him and he's still sore from the match that he's decided to dub 'Rainbow Brite' in the aftermath of it. Is he picking on fighters he thinks (or thought) were easy prey? Well..yeah. But he had to endure the same in World Warrior so he figures fair is fair. As for right now? Death Metal blares disturbingly loud from his Monster Trucks speakers as he races down an empty highway on a back route towards the shipping yards for his trip back to Metro City. Vacation's over..

[AYANE]
School brawls happen all the time in South Town. The fighting tradition is strong in this town and the rivalry between the schools only fuel this eternal feud between the young teenagers. When a fight breaks out, it doesn't take long for everyone to hear about it... And considering Abigail's outstanding arrival for his Neo League fight against Koto, everyone had been talking about it.

It was a thing for students to fight against each other, but for one of them to be able to get into the big league like that? Only a few of them were able of such feats! And now, a foreigner came over to crush him? That's even worse! Then again, the students who weren't from Pacific High might say Koto had been looking for it...

When the news finally reach Ayane's ears, it was already twisted from its original form : some professional and experienced fighter who crashed through the school to beat him up for his points. Why did it anger her so much, Ayane couldn't tell, but she was infuriated that someone would do something so low and dishonorable.

Fortunately, she had the power to make a difference...

As Abigail makes his way over the highway and passes over a viaduct, Ayane leaps over and lands atop the Monster Truck's hood. The small girl clad in a schoolgirl uniform lands gracefully atop of it, crouching to cushion the fall, facing Abigail. She so came out of nowhere it might almost feel like he might have ran over the girl or something...

When she lifts her gaze up to meet Abigail's one, her red eyes glare at him through his windshield and she clenches her hand into a fist, before she shouts and hurls her fist through the windshield at Abigail with such brutally it shatters the glasses.

"What d'you mean you broke it!? Put Roxy on the phone!" Abigail bellows into the speaker phone during his catch up with Two-P on happenings way back at Abigial's Scrap Metal. This is then followed by Ayane landing on the truck and Abigail's eyes widening.

"Oh my god, it's the girl from The Ring!!"

It most certainly is not but Abigail has no time to re-think his loose lipped reaction as the fist comes barreling through his windshield resulting in the mixed emotions of terror at thinking he's being attacked by a famous horror film creature and the fact that it's also damaged his precious truck. An unintelligible, "ArghblH!" emits from him as he reflexively lifts a hand up from the steering wheel to catch her punch into the center of the massive palm of his hand and then attempts to curl his huge fingers around her hand, wrist and forarm to attempt a yank to pull her forcibly forward and then shove her backwards with force to send her hurtling back and away from the truck.

This might be to he benefit as he then loses control and the monster truck goes tipping over onto its side as he slams on the brakes and the enormous tires bounce the rig up into the air violently and then back down towards its side.

The effect of surprise had been enough to daze the giant, but unfortunately Abigail's instinct and reflexes were swifter than Ayane's fist. It surprises the girl when his palm blocks her fist, even more so as his massive hand curls around her smaller on.

Considering her lightweight, once Abigail has gotten his hand wrapped around hers, he has no trouble actually shaking her off and hurling her off the truck, the petite girl sent flying backward and spinning in the air. Ayane attempts to steady herself and land properly but she was swirling so fast she couldn't tell land from sky and she ends up crashing into the ground, rolling about a couple of feet before she finally stops.

It might have ended up all there if it hadn't been for how Abigail had lost control of his truck and is forced to break so suddenly not too far from Ayane. When Ayane rises back to her feet and shakes off her fall and the various cuts she has, she notices the truck isn't too far off.

Her lips curl into a wide smile as a second opportunity arises and she dashes toward the truck to give Abigail little time to recover from what just happened...

AFter all, did he just imagine the girl that appeared over his truck? Surely not, she broke the windshield... What happened of her? If he takes too long to try and think about it, he'll soon find out about it as Ayane climbs back into the truck's haul and punches through the rear window with another loud shout. This time, her bloody fists sought only to break the glass as she lunges at Abigail's back and attempts to wrap her arms around his neck and choke-hold him from behind.

"Why you... Picking up on weaker foes... I'll teach you a lesson..." She growls through gritted teeth.

Abigail has managed to start to drag himself out of his wreckage, at least part way, by the time Ayane is back on him again. He's like some sort of half truck, half man ..thing at the moment with his lower half still pinned in the wreckage and greatly compromising his already glacier like reflexive abilities. Surprisingly he looks mostly unharmed, as if the truck is the least durable of the two by far. But this doesn't help him much when Ayane is on him and not only does she get a good grip through knowing just how to apply 'pain' just right, her chokehold grasp manages to send a shock of damage through him even if his neck is probably bigger around then her waist.

"Gack! Why're you -hasslin'- me!!" he manages to choke out before he suddenly lifts a massive hand up, aiming it over his shoulder at her. He can't quite pummel her without pummeling himself but the size of his fist is such that it still fills up her entire field of vision. He then literally flicks out a finger, attempting to thump her in the head with his middle finger ..with force that might be comparable to a battering ram.

The usual strategy of defenses applied to someone Abigail's size don't quite work the same. At least Ayane fails to brace herself against this massive fists and considering how she clings to his back, she ends up being more vulnerable. It was almost like someone trying to get rid of an insect and his large finger was enough to fling her away.

The schoolgirl falls on the ground and rolls over, a grunt of pain escaping her throat as she tumbles back to her feet but obviously dazed by the smack he gave her to her head. Ayane tries to shake it off and she glares at Abigail, "Tsss! And you have to ask? Not the sharpest tool in the shed," Ayane replies.

She cracks her knuckles and she charges him like an enraged wolverine with overwhelming ferocity for a girl her size. She delivers a first punch to his midsection, before she quickly spins on her heels and delivers a quick backhand with her other arm and she continues to turn on herself to give another kick to his midsection, following by another higher up and a last one.

The blows rock into the behemoth, and though it seems unbelievable, he staggers backwards like a tree that has been felled and is somehow trying to refind its footing before a final fall. In Abigail's case he's able to do just that and after skidding backwards a few yards with huge hands gripping his abused midsection, he blinks a with blurred vision and nearly goes to a bended knee for additional support. He then sees the wreckage of his prized truck out of h the corner of his eye and it all truly begins sinking in. This isn't his day.

"You made me wreck my vroooom! And you're attackin' me for NO REASON! I'm a tourist!!"

He crouches low and then leaps forward towards her, his lift off literally shaking the ground and cratering it from th force of his departure. "The only japanse school girl I'm gonna let beat me up is onna them Jpop idol types and you aint no Athena!"

Uh, what's that mean?

No time to ponder though as Abigail literally flips in mid air, surprisingly acrobatic, before he descends like a falling skyscraper for Ayane with both of his massive fists pistoning downward in a true 'Hulk Smash' sort of manuever.

While Abigail recovers from the onslaught Ayane had given him, the violet haired girl pants softly from her own exertion, assessing the giant for his fighting prowess. Her lips curl into a smirk as Abigail shouts back at her and Ayane replies, "Tourist? Ah! First time I hear a tourist who comes here to beat up some weak schoolboy ~ consider your wrecked car payment for bullying weaker fighters, jerk!"

As Abigail takes his impressive leap and soars down toward Ayane, the schoolgirl counters by leaping straight at him. A bold, most likely unexpected move as she jumps right past him and spins around in the air to deliver Abigail a swift kick behind his back to send him crashing down much faster than he might have expected.

Ayane lands a couple of feet away from where she used to stand, turning on her heels to Abigail, "... I know you can't pick on people your size, but, come on now... Have you no honor?"

[ABIGAIL]
"Bullyin' weak...Is -that- what's this about? You his girlfriend or something? Rainbow Brite lost so is sending his girlfriend to beat me up!?"

Abigail lets out a loud laugh though the pain in his stomach causes him to cut it short and he grimaces and then points a huge finger at Ayane, "Listen up girl. It's called NEO League, not ROOKIE League. Rainbow got the number one spot and fighters meaner then me could be gunning for him. You want hm to not get beat up, train 'im to get stronger! Don't you know who I am?? I fought in World Warrior. -Everybody- was a monster and psychopath in that with wierd powers. I didn't know what the hell was going on - but I still made it!"

Rant over, he suddenly makes his way towards her, moving like a rolling avalanche until he suddenly stops and twists, sending a massive back hand hurtling around for her and then continuing his rotation to send an uppercut her way as well, "You need more of a tune up if you think you're gonna teach me a lesson!"

"What..!? N.. No!" Ayane retorts, a faint blush spreading on her cheeks as he grits her teeth in roused anger, her hand clenched in a fist so tight her knuckles were white. Her lips curl into a smile and she leans back, "I can careless if Rainbow Brite gets mauled, but what sickens me is how you prey on the weak like that,"

Ayane braces for Abigail as the juggernaut charges her. She manages to anticipate his attack correctly, moving gracefully to avoid the powerful uppercut by stepping backward. She then quickly takes a step forward and front flips in an attempt to kick Abigail in the face. As she flips high in the air, Ayane's legs double-kick him again on his chest in an attempt to push him back, but assault to catapult herself away.

"The kid was only a few steps shy of taking me on! -He aint weak!-" bellows Abigail with full on frustration at the entire situation.

But she's on him again and the blow staggers him with force he's normally used to feeling from fighters similar to him in power and capability. She's strong. To strong for her size. Either that or..or maybe and..she just knows how to apply those techniques way to well to hit him just where he needs to be hit to stagger him.

But he's nto down yet. A sudden burst of energy rumbles through him as he thunders, "Fine! It's pedal to the medal time!"

His fist comes blurring around for her, rocketing at her as if he's got an engine attached to it and this is followed by his other first and his other first and his other as he thunders a barrage of blows in a flurry of movement that is almost impossible to follow.

"AABBIIIGAAAAIILLLLLL punch!!!"

Ayane arches a brow as Abigail tries to explain himself. It wasn't quite the story she had heard ~ all those awe-stuck students telling the tale of how this behemoth man came and wrecked the place and Koto. Perhaps there was some truth in what Abigail was saying? Alas, it was a bit too late for regrets since Ayane had already taken actions against him, blinded by the rage she felt when they described how he came to fight against Koto. Ayane just shakes her head dismissingly, "Tsss, yeah, right..." She replies.

Ayane was clearly more than meets the eyes... A petite yet fierce schoolgirl. No one would expect her to punch that hard, nor to be able to take that much of a beating either. Fortunately on this part of the town, it was just her and Abigail and she had no remorse no holding back.

"Come get it," She encourages Abigail. His impressive outburst of speed forces Ayane to stagger back, left on the defensive, her arms rising up to block those massive fists one after the other, preventing her from getting utterly crushed. Yet in spite of his size, he doesn't break her : the schoolgirl's technique and defense providing her a mean to cushion the blows one after the other even if it takes her all of her focus to block and deflect the barrage of punches.

The last fist finally shatters her defense even though she blocked it with both of her arms. The impact knocks her back a few feet but Ayane manages to ground herself with both feet, leaving a trail in the earth as she slows down.

She was too proud to show it, concealing her pain from each blow but a wince breaks through her cold facial expression and one arm hangs a bit limply to her side, numb from the battering it took. Her lips curl into a smile, "... You won't get this medal that easily, big boy," She taunts even if her arms were killing her.

Ayane rushes back toward Abigail and she jumps up, spinning midway in the air to try and deliver a powerful kick to Abigail's chest or head if she manages to jump high enough for it.

"You calling me a liar?!"

Abigail fumes, nostrils flaring as his rage begins to boil up to the surface now, as if he wasn't angry before but is only just now starting to enter into the furious rampager he's known for being. His skin begins to redden and his muscles start to blimp up even larger, ripping at the sames of his shirt as he expands bigger and bigger. THe ground itself cracking under him and steam gouting out from his ears and from between clenched teeth.

All this happens as Ayane bears down on hin and when she slams her foot into him, she might as well have struck the immovable as Abigails vast body doesn't even rock backwards as the shockwave barely quivers his immense physique.

Fortunantely he doesn't follow up with an attack but instead bellows, "I'm no liar! I'm taking it to the redline and putting you down!!"

"What if I am !?" Ayane shouts back at Abigail after she takes a few steps back from her kick. While she managed to hit him, it felt like she hit a wall of concrete and didn't even manage to harm him in the least. This only enrages her more as she grits her teeth and glares at Abigail.

Ayane presses on the assault while Abigail's rage is boiling. She flips foward and steps on her hands only to throw herself upward her legs spinning like an helicopter for a full two revolution before she tumbles and rolls on the ground, each of her kick aimed for Abigail's midsection.

It's like dealing with a semi truck with no brakes now. Abigail's enormous body takes the attack head on but is neither pushed back nor bowed and instead he continues forward, his gigantic physique doing the work of block and absorbing the impact while he presses in on Ayane and then leaps up again!

He doesn't go forward as much as he goes straight up and then down while leaning his massive body back and tucking his legs in..only to send both feet thundering out towards her in a drop kick that could probably dislodge the a building from its foundations and send it leaning over upon impact.

"KABOOM!!"

The greatest advantage of Ayane's petite built compared to Abigail's one was being able to slip out of his grasp fairly easily. The schoolgirl leaps out of the way when Abigail drops down with both of his massive feet, crashing on the ground with such a mighty impact the earth shatters and forms a crater where he once stood.

Unfortunately for him, Ayane slipped out of there before she got crushed, but who knows, maybe she's under one of his boot? Hard to tell with a little pest like her...

Speaking of pest, Ayane leaps up and attempts to climb on Abigail's back once more, her arms trying to grab into his massive neck but this time she doesn't attempt to choke him, she had learned her lesson, no, she uses her grip and her weight to try and destabilize the giant, forcing him to topple over on his back and through some incredible feat of strength, if she manages to make him fall over, she flips him over her and slams him on the ground.

"What the..!?" is about all Abigail can get out before he's sent rolling like one of his beloved tire, grinding his massive body into the ground and ending up thundering another massive imprint of his form as he slams to a stop, arms splayed out and earth shaking violently. Things aren't looking to good for the bruiser but he's ont done yet and really, he only needs to lay hands on her once.

You think this is over! My engine's built to go over the edge!" he roars before suddenly rolling backwards and then pressing to his feet with surprising speed and another rocking of the earth at his impact.

"Abigaaaaiiill!!!" he begins roaring whilc launching a massive hand ou tfor her to try and catch her once again and this time, if so, send her hurtling skywards. The barest flick of a wrist is capable of doing so as well and on her descent Abigail's massive palm would come hurtling around to try and slam into her and send her rocketing away. "SMASH!!!"

She's a nimble creature, however. The absolute worst kind!

Spinning and running around the massive man could only get Ayane out of trouble for so long. This time his massive hand manages to finally grasp her and Ayane squirms and attempts to wriggle out of his grasp but she fails to do it before she's thrown in the air...

Unable to do anything against it, Ayane braces herself and she spins midair, moving her legs to protect herself from Abigail's mighty palm thrust. It still sends her rocketing in the air, but at least Ayane had some control over what was going on and didn't take the hit head on...

His punch had been so strong it felt like he had gotten rid of her for good, sent flying away.... Until he can hear the echo of a scream... A shout growing louder as she falls down from the sky, her tiny fists joined together as she attempts to double-fist him over the head as she crashes down into him.

COMBATSYS: Abigail blocks Ayane's Aggressive Strike.

"Knock it off lady!! Stop hasslin' me! I told you, your BOYFRIEND is in Neo League! This comes with the territory!! He wanted the fight!"

Abigail sends both of his arms up, crossing them over his head to blunt the force of impact from her strike and then push back against her to send her backwards.

But he's nto far behind. A sudden surge of his legs, a kick off and he's thundering after her. It's less a charge and more of a earth quake inducing trundle as he bellows loudly, "Vroom, Vroom, Vroom, Vroom!!!" only to, at the last second, pivot with his massive back facing her like a billboard, and then a spin which sends a gigantic arm hurtling at her like an incoming meteor.

[AYANE]
"Damn it, how many times will I have to say, this pathetic twerp is /NOT/ my boyfriend!" Ayane growls back Abigail as she lands back a few steps away from Abigail after her double-fisted attack.

The violet haired girl is panting, her stance a bit low both from the bruises she has and the fatigue the fight has taken on her. As Abigail dashes forward, Ayane leaps back and attempts to intercept the behemoth's charge...!

But alas, the fatigue had taken its toll on her speed it seems, leaving her just a second short to perform her counter attack. His arm finally hits her and the petite schoolgirl is knocked off a good distance, her body flying off and falling on the ground a dozens feet away, rolling and rolling and... it stops.

Her body trembles as she tries to force herself back to her feet, but the pain is too much and she simply crumbles and lets herself fall down.

Looks like that's the last of her.

[ABIGAIL]
"ARGH!" Abigail pulls back from his devestating blow and then finally lets how own shoulders slump as the pain and bruises from the bearing she was laying on him begin taking their toll. But he's still quite, quite mad.

"You stupid girl! And now we're both -stranded!- I'm gonna have to carry you -and- My Vroom the rest of the way!! Why didn't you listen to me...!"

He leans over, placing both of his hands against his huge legs to brace himself and take a few second to catch his breath.

Eventually he straightens back up and just stares at her collapsed body and finally thunders over towards the crash of his Monster Truck. Despite his whining and complaining it's actually in better condition then he was expecting. He did build it after all. He might be able to get some milage out of it.

"You're gonna owe me girl. You better remember this at Christmas!" he declares before collecting Ayane in order to rougly place her into the carriage. Hopefully the ship yards shouldn't be to far, that is assuming she doesn't wake up eventually and just bolts for it ..or even tries again..
