Description: After Chun-li's prolonged rest, thanks to Gen, the woman decides to test out Gen's new protege to see what they're worth... And give then a little bit of hard training.
Months of research had lead hre to Genhatten : it had been the best lead she had to her father's murderer, only to find her old mentor from years ago. Someone who vanished from her life almost exactly like her father did and now they were reunited. It just all made more sense now but, unfortunately, it seems the old man did not share Chun-li's ideals for justice. Thoroughly chastisied by Gen, the young woman spent the last few days recovering here as well as trying to convince him to give her the information she needed. Alas, he's as stubborn as a mule and only answered in non-sense riddles of sort, pretexting that she wasn't ready.
If that was the case then, all she had to do was stick around and show him she's more than ready to assume the consequences of her actions. Clad in her casual clothings, Chun-li makes her way down the guest room and into the restaurant. She might have been off-duty right now but she had taken enough time to recover, now was the time to act.
As it happens, the restaurant is quiet at the moment, nary a soul in sight. The lingering smell of Chinese cooking comes from the kitchen in the back, but the activity at the tables is at a minimum. Exiting the kitchen just as Chun-Li comes down the stairs is Yang, wiping his hands off with a towel and surveying the quiet interior of the restaurant. Noticing the detective who came here not too long ago, he approaches her, flipping the towel up over his shoulder.
"You're looking well-rested." Yang notes as he comes within easy speaking range of Chun-Li. Her clothes say she's just going out for a casual stroll, but the look in her eyes says something else entirely. Folding his arms over his chest, the younger Dragon Brother retains his stoic expression as he adds, "You aren't thinking of charging off half-cocked, are you?"
"AHHHHHHHH!"
Yun comes busting into the restaurant from outside. He looks almost afraid as he ducks and rolls, sliding to the side and planting his back against the wall underneath the window. "Get down! Get down!" is yelled in the direction of any patrons, Yang and Chun-Li. Not that he's actually caring about what's happening to them. He's just in the moment. And that moment is him, back to the wall, holding a... is that a water gun?
Yun reaches up to adjust his cap, turning it backwards for a moment, before he reaches up and pushes open the window with one hand. He hesitates, looking up at the others in the restaurant and gives them the 'shhhh' sign, before he's popping up and looking out the window... water pistol first.
There are playful screams from children outside as Yun lets the super soaker loose on 'em! In turn, water gets sent back in his direction!
Hearing the teenager's voice, Chun-li arches a brow and glances over in his direction. Her right hand still holds the banisters once she's down the stairs and she smiles at Yang, "I've rested long enough," She admits, "I need to stretch and get some fresh air... Staying idle has been killing me," She adds. The chinese woman most definately stayed here more than she should, lingering and hoping she would have managed to convince Gen to give her what she wanted. And will probably be the only reason why she'll linger here until she gets what she wants from him.
Before Chun-li can add anything though, the loud scream and sudden movement that bursts into the restaurant causes Chun-li to react instinctively : her posture shifts and her eyes turn in Yun's direction, whole body alert and ready. She took the sudden intrusion rather seriously and almost seems ready to jump at Yun's throat until she spots the toy gun in his hands. It takes her a few seconds to realize what's going on and to finally relax.
She glances at Yang, than back at Yun for a moment, assessing the two. "You must be Gen's new protege..." Chun-li concludes.
Yang might have heard a thing or two about Chun-Li's situation. Even if Gen or Chun-Li herself didn't tell him directly, he might have "accidentally" overheard some of their talks. In fact, when he said that about going off half-cocked, he might not have even meant going out to fight. After all, Gen can be a very tough mentor when you push him...
"I see. If you're going to be out long, may I suggest taking a packed lunch?" Yang asks, but before he can get an answer, the sudden commotion at the door has him tensing up, every sense on high alert for whatever threat is going to come through after Yun. He recovers faster than Chun-Li though, being used to Yun's antics and thus recognizing what his older brother is doing a second sooner. Relaxing with an exasperated sigh, he says to his brother, "You could at least be washing tables, you know."
Then, turning to Chun-Li, he brushes his hair out of his eyes with one hand and nods. "Both of us, yes. They call us the Dragon Brothers around here. We keep the streets safe, bring in some extra fight money on the side. That kind of thing."
Yun gets blasted by the water from the kids outside and he goes down without a fight. "Okay, okay! You guys win!" He's not as soaked as he could be but he's got to get to work. This place is dead and he's going to have to breathe some life into it. It's what he does, after all. "Tomorrow. I get revenge." He twirls and hands over the water gun and gives some serious fistbumping to the kids, before they run off to play some more.
"Score another one for Big Brother Yun. Keeping the kids out of trouble." Yun whirls around and twists his cap back to the front as he regards Yang and Chun-Li not too far off. He gives a nod and moves to grab his skateboard from leaning up against one of the walls, "Yeah, yeah." is the response to Yang's criticizing words. Yun kicks up and onto his skateboard, skating off to the side to grab his towel and spray, hooking the latter on his pants and tossing the towel on his shoulder.
From there Yun is skating about, moving between the tables with a spray and wipe combination that's all style. As he passes by his brother and the detective, "Yeah, that's right, Sweet Thang. We run this town." He winks at Chun-Li on his way to another table.
Chun-li folds her arms in front of her chest and lets the two brother talks to each other. She can't help but smile at the irony of them keeping the streets safe and Yun having some water gun in his hands. She glanecs at Yang and says, "Thanks for the offer -- I might take you up on that when I'll go out,"
Chun-li stares at Yun as he skates around and she rests her hands on her waist. She quirks a brow at Yun's antics and replies, "You must be Yun -- full of energy and could learn some manners too. Gen told me some about you two..." She glances at him as he drives pass and she just shakes her head slowly.
She turns her attention to Yang and says, "I'm going to be sticking around some -- I've offered my help to Gen..." Her lips curl into a wider smile and she says, "Train you guys a little, see what Dragon Brothers are capable of,"
Yang sighs and stoops down by the window to wipe the water up off the polished wood floor, thereby preventing any accidental slips. Safety first, you know. "Proper work discipline is important, Yun." he calls after his older brother, though he can't help but think that with how slow it's been so far today, he can't really blame the guy. On the other hand, he feels perfectly justified in facepalming at Yun's totally unabashed flirting.
A moment later, done with the spill, he stands and nods to Chun-Li, returning the towel to its place on his shoulder. "I'll whip one up whenever you're ready for it." he offers, watching his brother skate around the restaurant. It's not that he doesn't trust Yun's skills, but if a particularly clumsy customer were to get in his way...
That train of thought is interrupted by Chun-Li as she mentions training them. With a small smirk, he responds, "You used to be one of Uncle Gen's students too, didn't you? I admit, I've been a little bored too. How about a little sparring match between students?"
"Say word?!"
Yun's antics are shifted into turbo as he skates around to finish up the tables. The spray and wipe combination becoming something more of a blur than anything that actually makes sense. He's skating back off towards Chun-Li and his brother before they can properly even finish having their boring conversation. He's leaping off the board and kicking it up into his arms.
A glance over to the corner will show the towel and spray bottle finally coming to a halt. Damn, Yun.
Yun reaches up to pull his cap back around to the front and offers a smile that reads he's so hype for this. "Train? Us?" Yun almost busts out laughing, reaching over to throw an arm around Yang. "Come on. I mean, you're hot an' all but you wouldn't last sixty seconds against the Twin Dragons." Yun gives a blatant look up and down the casual clad Chun-Li.
"... Thirty seconds." Shots Fired!
The Chinese woman remains totally impervious to Yun's unabashed flirting attempts. Some might be flatered but it left Chun-li rather indifferent. When Yun reels back toward her, his reaction is meet with a broad daring smile as Chun-li rests her arms in front of her chest, meeting his laughter with confidence. Yang was definately the wiser of the two and might actually realize Chun-li's potential.
The chinese woman can't help but chuckle at his prideful boasting and she says, "Let's see if you're just all talk or if you got what it takes to back it up," Fortunatley for them, Chun-li already trashed the place a bit a few days later with Gen and so, she's at least considerate not to break the place up again this time. She turns on her heels and makes her way out of the restaurant -- she glances over her shoulder and says, mostly toward Yun, "Come out if you dare, let's see if you can last more than thirty second of if you're just another precocious fighter.."
"Feel free to join your brother, I'd love to see what Gen's new students can do.." Chun-li adds as she moves her arms and stretches a little -- might be the best way to put her back into her feet after some long term recovery.
Yang knows full well that anyone trained by Gen, regardless of appearance, is /probably/ going to be pretty strong. And, frankly, that's what excites him. Despite all his stoic behavior, despite all his maturity, he still can't resist the prospect of a good fight, especially against someone his uncle seems to hold in high enough regard to let her help train them.
That's why, after tossing his towel onto a nearby table, he's quick to follow the Chinese detective outside into the street, gesturing to Yun to follow them...though he probably doesn't need to. "Two against one? That'll be a tough fight for anyone," Yang replies, though the fact she's confident enough to take them both on has his blood pumping even more. He takes the opportunity to stretch and work out some of the kinks from working in the kitchen all day, before taking up his usual stance. "Loser buys the winners a meal?"
Wait, maybe he /does/ have some of his brother's arrogance.
Yun drops his skateboard down and kicks off in the direction of the exit. He makes sure to make it as stylish as possible as he makes his exit. From the outside, though, it looks almost as if it is every other entrance that Yun does when he's about to get into a fight. He comes gliding in from after skating off something he shouldn't have been on and leaps off his board, landing next to Yang in his own (cooler) fighting stance.
"Haha! I love a good fight!"

One thing is sure about Chun-li : if Gen had chosen to teach her, she used to be a prodigy and had quite the potential. Gen always had an eye to find those who had the potential to become great fighters. Even if they parted ways a long time ago, Chun-li had improved greatly, though definately not enough to be able to defeat her former master. "It will be -- but there's no glory or fame if it's not challenging," Her lips curl into a grin and she adds, "Beside, gotta see if you two can fight in sync,"
Once the chinese woman makes her way out, she strectches for a moment, swinging her leg back and grasping it over her head as she displays her flexibility but also works out the joints that felt still sore from spending so much time in bed. "Alright, deal..." Chun-li says before she straightens herself up.
She spins both of her hands and leans back, settling into her combat posture, both hands ups, the back of her hands faced toward the two brother. She narrows her eyes and gestures with her fingers, "Show me what you've got.."
This is true. There is no gain without pain, not in the world of martial arts, and the greater the obstacles, the more one can learn from them. Yang nods to the detective as she enters her own fighting stance, then gives his brother a glance. That look seems to communicate it all: He'll go first and give Yun an opening.
And, the instant after that, he's dashing forward at Chun-Li with his usual blinding speed, fingers slicing through the air at her with an arcing trail of blue chi following their tips. A simple, but effective, Mantis Slash.
While Yang is working the ground game, Yun takes to the skies where he seems to feel more at home. He takes a couple of steps, before leaping up and into the air, practically mimicking Yang's movements as he takes to the sky. Yang, however, is a few hairs faster than he is. Still, though, Yun flips end over end in the air, before opening his arms like a pair of wings and angling one of those stylish sneakers of his down in Chun-Li's direction!
"Feel free to forfeit any time, sweetheart!"

Fighting two talented opponents at the same time demanded a lot of attention : Chun-li's eyes shift from Yun to Yang, trying to prepare for their combined attack. When Yang lunges at her, she's more than ready to defend herself. The chinese woman sweeps her arms in front of her to intercept the incoming blow, softening and warding herself from being hit fully. However, his attack is enough of a distraction to give her a hard time to react in time for his brother's soaring kick. She attempts to leap back, but fails to do it in time, which only results in Yun managing to knock her back.
The woman groans and is sent flying a few feet before she falls into her back with a loud thud. A direct hit that must have been quite painful -- still Chun-li manages to recover quickly enough, spinning her legs on the ground to quickly get back on her feet. She ends up in a knelt posture, both arms spread out to each of her side, cross-legged. "Not bad..." She smirks, "If I'm not careful I'll end up having to pay you guys a lunch,"
She leaps in the air, her legs sending her up at an incredible height : she performs a front flip midway through, a trail of blue chi following the descent of her leg as she attempts to smack Yun over the head with the back of her heel, "Kyaaaa!" She says, finishing her fall with an acrobatic split on the ground.
The two are talented, alright, and their two-pronged attacks are notoriously dangerous, as any common thug or local tag team can attest. After Yun's kick sends Chun-Li reeling, Yang is already on the move, dashing around to the Chinese woman's side while she targets his brother. Whether she hits Yun or not, Yang still takes the opportunity to throw out a quick jabbing palm strike at Chun-Li's ribs.
Sure, he could go for a kidney shot, but they're not trying to /seriously/ injure each other here. Just break a few bones, maybe.

Maybe Yun has been talking too much stuff or something. Because somewhere in the middle of landing from kicking Chun-Li across the street (at least that's what happened in his mind), Yun doesn't get the opportunity to prepare for her sudden arrival above him and the smacking of the back of his skull with her foot.
Yun goes forward and smacks into the ground hard. He rolls with the pain and it is visible on his face as he gets back up to his feet. It takes him a moment to shake off the dizziness that was starting to fill his mind and he steps right back into his stylish stance.
"I let everybody get /one/." is the witty remark that's tossed at Chun-Li before Yun is on the move again. He moves to where he's hoping Yang will knock Chun-Li with that fist of his. He's reaching out to see if he can't snatch her up by the arm, twist and give her a judo-esque flip over his shoulder and down to the ground! He's got to keep those feet away from him!

The time Yun has to take to recover from Chun-li's drop kick allows her to focus on Yun's brother. The chinese woman quickly recovers from her split, moving her legs swift to get back on her feet. She lifts her arms up to block Yang's punch on her side, protecting her ribs that way. Her reflexes were impressive considering Yang's undeniable speed.
Unfortunately for Yun though, Chun-li has been able to react quickly enough not to give another opening this time, and she kept an eye on the sly boy as he moves behind her in an attempt to combo-up with his brother. She sweeps her arms away from his grasp, assuming momentarily the posture of the grue, balancing on one foot before she lunges foward and attempts to retaliate with a powerful palm thrust aimed straight for Yun's midsection.
Chun-li doesn't stop there though : right after that powerful palmthrust, she completes her movement with a rapid rotation of her waist, literally sending rolling into her back. She uses her hands to complete the movement, twisting her body around and hurling herself in Yang's direction, legs split in the air like an helicopter, aiming to deliver him a flurry of spinning kicks with the momentum she's been able to give herself before she actually lands on her back.

Yang is certainly impressed with Chun-Li's reflexes, and as he jumps away to let Yun do his thing and prepare for a followup attack, he blinks as he realizes she's caught onto his brother's plan and stopped it cold. "Clever girl." is all he has time to say before she throws out her trademark spinning kick at him, forcing him to raise his arms to take the brunt of the kicks' force.
But this is hardly his first fight, and it doesn't take him long to find an opportunity amid the furious flurry of feet to reach out and try to grab one of the detective's legs. From there, he tries to redirect all that momentum into a spinning throw of his own, so as to hurl her into the air where Yun can do...whatever it is Yun decides to do.

Yun is trying too hard to make this look good. That is both is greatest asset and most abused weakness. He can't see that his inability to not show off is what continues to hold him back... and get him doubled-over into a blinding light of pain and anguish from the strongest palm in the world. Yun's body is falling in slow motion as he drops to his knees, his arms crossed over his midsection as if that's going to actually make the pain better.
It doesn't.
Yun keeps a close eye on Yang, before rolling across the ground and into the general vicinity of Chun-Li. He only hesitates long enough for Yang to attack, before he rises to his feet, aiming send a quick flurry of fists and elbows at her. This has the potential to be followed up by a sudden leap to plant both feet in her chest and fling himself off and away from her. If she gets a moment of pain or anything, well, bonus.

The moment Chun-Li's back touches the ground, she feels Yang's hands around one of her leg, preventing her from rising up. She could struggle against Yang's force but instead opts to roll with it as he hurls her off. She nimbly rolls into her back, softening her landing.
She rolls into her feet but the moment she rises into her fighting stance, Yun's already there to combo-it up : the flurry of rapid punches catch her off guard and Chun-li fails to deflect the blows, each of them making her wince in pain. She staggers back, destabilized more and more by each attack and the double-kick to her chest causes her to scream in pain as she's knocked back.
She falls into her back. She quickly spins her legs to recover and get back on her feet. Her stance falters a bit and she pants softly, "You're good.. That's the second time I fall for it..."
A smirk crosses her lips, "Let's spice things up a little..." She rushes over Yang, moving her hands aside. She summons up her inner chi into her hands, blue chi swirling around her hands and forearms. She thrusts them foward in Yang's direction, close enough to him, sending a huge burst of chi that seems engulf her and Yang both alike, though the real danger comes from the small ball of energy she hurls at him.

Yang's not too disappointed that his throw wasn't very effective on its own. That's not really the point of any of his attacks right now, after all. What he was aiming to do was set Chun-Li up for his brother, and sure enough, Yun quickly took advantage of the situation and landed some pretty good blows. Unfortunately, it would seem that the Chinese detective isn't down for the count yet, as she comes at Yang with /a frigging chi blast/.
"Wait, don't you think that's a little overki-" he tries to say, but is cut off mid-word by the sudden explosion of chi right in his face, forcing him to close his eyes lest he be blinded by the light. The actual ball itself slams into his chest a moment later, his shirt providing little protection from the tremendous amount of kinetic force behind it, which sends him flying back into a trash can when it bursts. The poor stray cat that was sleeping atop the can is now screeching around the corner into the alleyway in fright.
A few moments later, a shudder and a cough shows that Yang is still alive, though he looks worse for wear as he struggles to push himself back up, his breaths heavy and ragged as he tries to force air back into his lungs. Once he's finally on his feet, he rolls his shoulders and tilts his head to either side to pop his neck, then settles into his stance again, calming his breathing and letting the flow of chi through his body settle itself before he makes any further moves.

Yun is back in the mix and he's starting to feel like his old self. Even though he's still a little shaken up on the inside from Chun-Li's strong ass palm, he's looking more like he's had enough of a breather to be able to get himself back to controlling this battle.
"This is the part where you /don't/ let up, Yang!" Yun tells his brother as he takes off in a quick run towards Chun-Li. He leans down and grabs his skateboard on the way, dropping it to the ground and skates towards the detective. "Watch and learn, little brother!" is the next shout that Yun gives, as his skating brings him towards Chun-Li a bit faster.
Yun skates in close and leans off his board, dropping one hand to the ground and lifts his legs upward. His free hand grips the side of the board and he twists his body, using his planted hand for leverage and balance, as he aims to catch Chun underneath her chin with his skateboard!

Her chi lingers a moment after she has blasted Yang away with it. She straightens herself up and pants softly from the effort her previous attack took on her. Her lips curl into a thin smirk as she notices Yang slowly recovering from the trash can, "You guys are Gen's students, aren't you? I doubt he goes soft on you..."
Her eyes turn over to Yun as he comes skating toward her : she leans back and prepares herself for him. Chun-li rushes toward Yun in an attempt to intercept him as he flips over with his skateboard. She twists on her hips, allowing Yun's skateboard to smack the side of her hips but midway through the motion Chun-li's knee smashes into Yun's midsection to send him flying upward.
The chinese woman leaps up and spins around to deliver another kick to Yun's chest once she's midair before falling down on her feet gracefully -- a wince from her betrays the pain she feels on her hip, causing her to stagger back to regain her balance. She pants and glances up to them, ".. But if you guys want to stop, that's fine,"
Once Yang is sure he's got his breathing back under control, he opens his eyes just in time to see Yun get his ass handed to him. "And /that/ is why you don't rush in blindly, Yun." he chastises his older brother, but now it seems it's just him versus the world's strongest woman. This is going to be an interesting showdown, that much is certain.
"He doesn't." is Yang's simple answer, before he starts slowly making his approach, sizing the detective up. Her defenses are strong, so it'll be hard to break through them with a frontal assault. So, focusing his chi, he causes numerous afterimages to begin following his movements, then dashes toward Chun-Li with a simple jab...which turns out to be a feint. Or is it? Even though he breaks off to the side before his fist connects to instead throw another palm strike at Chun-Li's jaw, the afterimages behind him appear to have very real force of their own, shadows of that punch continuing to try to strike her for a second or two after Yang himself. Depending on how she moves, the upcoming combination of attacks could end up landing more hits than should be physically possible.
That's the wonders of chi for you.
Yun doesn't even know he's not on his skateboard anymore. It actually takes him a second to realize that he's been ousted by Chun-Li's magnificence. He gets clobbered right off his board and into the air, kicked again for good measure and he sails off in the direction of what is probably not the best place to land. Things crack and cans clatter together as Yun is put down like the blind rushing dog that he is.
He's not moving. Not for the longest moment either. He just lays on the ground, breathing, kind of. It takes all the strength he can muster up after getting dealt with so harshly to turn his head to the side. That's when he sees his baseball cap fall to the ground in front of him.
'Up.' Yun hears Gen's voice as he stares at the cap. The hallucination of Gen stands on the brim of Yun's cap. He walks right over to Yun's bleeding face and gives him a hard slap. 'Again.'
Knocked out of the pain by something that's not there, Yun groans as he gets to his feet. He's wobbly for a moment or two, but manages to lean over and scoop up his cap. It gets twirled slightly and brought back to the top of his head. He pulls it on and down over his eyes. The blood dripping from the corner of his lip is wiped away with a single finger. "I ain't hear no bell." Yun lowers his head and centers himself. "One More Round."
Yun takes a breath and raises his arms over his head, making an X with him, before dropping them down to his sides. His legs spread apart and the moment his entire body and soul has centered with each other, a host of after-images explode from behind him as well. The sound of his chi activating can be heard throughout all of Southtown. It almost sounds like a quick slap of thunder. And even Yun knows what is happening, he's on the move. He becomes a blur of ferocious speed as he rushes towards the other side of Chun-Li. He knows this move of his brother's so he's careful to only strike in the brief moments that Yang is between strikes. Sometimes it's Yun's fist, sometimes it's Yun's sneaker and sometimes it's Yun's elbow. Yun puts his entire body into the possibility of working in tandem with Yang's movements to try and put a hurt on Chun-Li. Even Yun's shadow-selves are working to compliment Yang's attack and overwhelm the strongest woman in the world with Yun's vicious COMBO FURY!

The chinese woman's smile widens a bit at Yang's answer as she glances in his direction, "And what about you?" She asks, tilting her head to one side. The chinese woman remains ready : knees bent and leaning back slightly, one hand in Yang's direction and the other near her waist.
She definately doesn't expect Gen's prodigy to give up that easily -- she certainly didn't go easy on Yun, nor wil she with Yang, but she's sure Gen would want no less from her. Her defenses are indeed strong, and now that she can focus exclusively on Yang, it seems to make it even worse. The chinese woman reacts instinctively, taking a step back and moving her arms to deflect the incoming blow, her aura warding her from Yang's projections. Her agility is incredible, and when Yun lunges at her, she's barely able to block Yun's fist.
The chinese woman gives the Twin Dragons quite a display of her acrobatic feats and speed as she manages to avoid some of Yang's punches, block Yun's combos -- their tandem forces her to stay alert and on her toes, but in spite of their best efforts Chun-li's defense remains unwavering and gives them few opportunity to deliver any satisfying blow.
A last kick blocked by Chun-li's arms force her to stagger back. Her arms perform wide circles in the air to help her maintain her balance -- had they been able to keep up the rythm, they might have finally broken through Chun-li's guard, but now that Yun's running a bit out of steam, Chun-li finally has the chance to take a breather.
"I can see why you are Gen's students," Chun-li says in between two breaths. They were so close, "... But you still need more training," She smiles, glad to oblige -- and now that she finally has the chance to attack, she takes it.
Chun-li approaches Yang and turns on her heel. She leans back and lifts her leg up, delivering a rapid succession of kicks : up, down, middle and repeat again and again. She shouts with every kick as she finally has the chance to retaliate.

Chun-Li's skills are truly impressive, as she intercepts nearly all of the attacks being thrown her way by the Twin Dragons. And, now that Yun has fallen, it seems that Yang is in more trouble than ever, facing one of Gen's greatest students all by his lonesome. This is the moment to do, or to die (figuratively speaking), and Yang can't help but fully embrace a fight like this, one that pushes him to the edge and beyond.
He does not have time to exchange words with the detective, as she comes at him with those legs flashing at the speed of light, a hundred rending kicks each with devastating force. Any one of them could put him down for the count too, and leave the Twin Dragons shamed in the eyes of their master.
It's moments like this that Yang lives for. It's moments like this that Yang has /trained/ for. It's moments like this that kick Yang's concentration into high gear, and the entire world almost seems to move in slow motion, stopping for a brief instant as his hand lashes out, catching Chun-Li's boot before it can hit him. It's like he can read the flow of the universe for that one perfect moment, which seems to stretch into eternity as he parries kick after kick with incredible precision, never once letting one get a solid hit on him.
And then, once she finally slows down, once he's finally presented with an opening, Yang snaps his arms back and then rockets them forward, throwing a powerful double palm strike at Chun-Li's solar plexus. Should that knock her back, he immediately ducks into a brief roll before slamming one palm down on the ground to launch into a flying kick at her chin, never slowing down for even the briefest of seconds. This is his /zone/, and he is /in it/.
Yun Lee, the Dragon of the Wind and Clouds, is sufficiently grounded with ease. After putting everything that he had into that last ditch attack to take down Chun-Li, he finds that he can no longer remain standing. Every punch, every kick, every elbow, every shoulder-check is blocked and knocked aside as if he weren't even putting his entire being into that attack.
Blood and sweat (no tears!) pour from Yun's face as one by one those shadow forms disappear. As the last one fades and Yun's final fist meets the brick hands of Chun-Li, the skater boy falls. His body colliding with the ground and his eyes closing for good, this time. His trusty baseball cap slips off his head and lands in a puddle of dirty water that is too close for comfort.
K! O!

Chun-li has a couple more years of training than the duo have under their belts -- though she can recognize the talent Gen has seen in in both of them. The chinese woman might have gone a bit softer on another opponent but from students of her former master? Nah, they deserve this challenge, they probably crave to be pushed to their limits.
When the fatigue finally hits Chun-li's leg and she stops her flurry of kicks, the woman can't hide her surprise at how well Yang managed to evade all of her kicks. Now is his chance to strike when her guard is down.
She thought he was quick before but Chun-li had seen nothing : his quick assault forces her to swing herself backward to roll away to avoid the double palm strike. The follow up forces her to throw herself to the side, into the garbage cans to avoid the kicks, but Chun-li finally recovers and manages to stumble back on her feet. "Well done..." She says. He almost got her there. She lunges foward and attempts to kick Yang in the midsection.

Yang is snapped out of his zone by Chun-Li's inhumanly fast reflexes. It's no doubt that she, too, is a student of Gen. "You too." he responds with a small smile, then braces himself for her next attack. Sure enough, it comes a moment later, a kick that he neither tries to block nor evade, but instead steels himself for.
As a result, despite grunting in pain at the impact, Yang stands his ground and the detective is right where he wants her. Reaching out to grab her by the shoulders, he jumps up to plant his feet on her chest at the same time, to then kick off of her into a backflip. The instant he lands, though, he rushes right back in, a gleaming blue trail of chi following his fingers as they slash at her. He just has to concentrate, and maybe he can still bring this back...

Yang's reaction to her kick seems to pay off as he manages to break through Chun-li's defenses -- with her leg outstretched, he can easily grasp her shoulders. His foot into her chest makes her groan in pain, and the kick that results from his backflip knocks her back.
Chun-li crashes into her back and barely has the time to get on her knees. She lifts her arms up to shield herself against his fnger strike, the blow enough to force her back on her feet fully. She grunts in pain as she takes a step back, recovering from the quick onslught he has delivered to her.
Chun-li then leaps in the air, performing a rapid front flip, stretching her leg out as she drops her heel down straight for Yun's head, "Kyaaaa!" She shouts as a trail of blue chi follows the descent of her leg. The moment it connects, either with Yang or the ground, her chi charged heel unleashes a powerful blast of chi.

The blows are landed, and they seem to be effective, but it looks like Chun-Li isn't going to go down just yet. Yang's feeling pretty winded by now after all of this, as evidenced by his panting and the sweat running down his face. Still, as Chun-Li goes for her chi-powered diving kick, he grits his teeth and raises his arms to block it.
And fails /utterly/, the kick crashing right through his defenses and smashing him into the floor /hard/, the explosion of chi only making it all the more painful. A few seconds later, he comes back to the world of the living, inhaling deeply for the first time since taking that blow to the head. Coughing and spitting out a tooth and a worrying amount of blood, he forces himself to stand despite every bone and muscle in his body protesting with sharp jabs of pain. He's pretty sure the impact with the street broke his nose, and he can feel the warm wetness of blood spattered about his face, but is unsure of the full extent of the damage.
But he /is/ sure that he's got one more attack in him before his body just gives out on him entirely, and after Yun's heroic effort earlier, could the younger of the Twin Dragons do any less? Grunting painfully with the exertion, he builds up every last ounce of chi he's got left in him for one last assault, his body a blur as he dashes at Chun-Li with another mantis slash, stopping behind her for an instant before turning around and slashing at her back, then taking off in a zig-zagging pattern to strike at her from all sides. The final blow comes as a stab at her throat with his fingers, care taken to avoid lethal force, but still hard enough to make it hard to talk afterwards if it lands.
"Raishin... Mahhaken..." Yang coughs out, before falling to his knees and then finally collapsing to the ground, unconscious.

The fight against the Twin Dragons has also taken its toll on Chun-li. Her skin is glistening with her sweet, her chest heaving visibly with every breath she takes. Her gaze remains focused on the task at hand, despite the soreness and pain she feels in her arms and legs. What better way to fully recover from the beating Gen had given her than a little spare like this.
Chun-li quickly rises after her soaring cascade, preparing herself for Yang's retaliation. She lifts her left arm up to block Yang's mantis-slash, her body moving swiftly and following Yang's gesture. Her other arm deflects the other blow. The chinese woman winces in pain every time she moves her forearm to block, everytime she uses her leg or arm to ward herself against the vicious and rapid slashes. Yang keeps her on her toes through his assault.
She lifts her hand up just in time to block the last finger thrust to her throat, blocking it with her palm while she braces for the impact. She heaves a soft sigh of relief, but the moment Yang falls to his knees she shifts her posture to try and catch him midway.
"Woah, easy there..." Chun-li says as she tries to support Yang, a bit of worry in her voice and gaze. She looks around for Yun a moment, only to realize Yun is lying down not too far off in a condition that doesn't seem any different than Yang's one.
The thought finally crosses her mind that maybe she shouldn't have gone too hard on them. Too late for regrets now that it's all done. Chun-li grunts a bit and she tries to support Yang and straighten herself and him up. Her legs shake a bit, feeling her own fatigue hitting her. She slowly limps into the restaurant while holding Yang against her.
Time to get a chair for Yang to rest and recover... And then she'll come fetch Yun out before he rolls into that dirty puddle beside him.
