Description: As part of Ken's reality show tour, Johnny Cage has challenged the mighty blonde warrior to a friendly fight in Hollywood. Ken learns firsthand a few techniques that the movie star is known for.
"Man, the whole point is that I'm supposed to be traveling the world. Why am I even back in the States?" Ken Masters steps out of his Ferrari, rocking a stylish leather jacket over a Tommy Scissorfists 2: Cut It Out t-shirt and some jeans. He's even got a pair of black shades on. His hair gets tossed as he holds his phone up to his ear, not even paying attention to the cameras that are following him around. He's gotten used to them by now. "Wait, who? He wants to throw down? You serious?" Ken fistpumps. "Hell yeah, I'm in. Let's do this!"
A few moments after Ken Masters hangs up that phone, Ken is wandering out into the designated area that has been set aside for such phsyical contests as the one that he's going to be engaging in here in a little bit. He's a little ashamed that he didn't have his gi with him when he got the call but this'll make for better tv.

Ken is greeted by the paparazzi first when he arrives, then is met by the studio crew who direct him to Lot 32, where it's a lot cooler inside. The fighting ring installed there is set in a faux recreation of an Asian underground fighting pit from one of Johnny's movies. No extras here though, just fans and the working stiffs of Hollywood here to see the spectacle. Johnny is in the ring already and talking with his publicist, a woman in a red suit. "Okay, let's go for a Tuesday meet and greet THEN we'll see about signing," he says, then stops when he sees Ken. Johnny is already in his usual fighting attire, ready to go. "Was wondering when you'd show up, Masters. How's the world tour treating you? You ready to do this?"
"I'm learning a lot, so pretty good. I mean, not that I needed to learn anything to kick /your/ butt, Johnny." Ken's teasing, obviously, as he wanders right up to Johnny and offers him a fist to bump. There's only that moment and then he's backing up, looking down at his feet to make sure his sneakers are laced up nice and tight. He tugs on his jacket to make sure it's on. "So. Since this ain't gonna' take long at all, when you wake up, you wanna' grab lunch or...?" Ken is full of jokes today. He reaches up and pulls off his sunglasses, tossing them towards some hot intern that's lingered to watch the fight. She also gets a wink.
Of course, Johnny's sunglasses remain on. He smirks at Ken's jokes, but still returns the fist bump. "If you can still chew, I was thinking this kick ass taco place downtown...you want some cold water to wake you up after I'm done?" Fangirls are going rabid already at the two big names about to go at it. The stage lights projected from above shine down on them and a gong sounds off nearby. Cage assumes a ready stance as he flexes his fingers and hitches his shoulders. "So, battle of the stars, take one. Lights...camera...Action!"
He motions for Ken to bring it.

"Stars? Plural?"
Ken falls into his fighting stance, bouncing on the heels of his sneakers for just a moment. There's a hesitation that allows him to take a moment to feel the surge of fighting spirit that comes off Johnny. He smirks and tosses his hair from his eyes. "Aw, is Johnny Wonny upset somebody's movin' in on his turf?" Ken flashes a smile and then he's on the move.
Ken's movements have him rushing across the ring and in the general direction of Cage. He turns and lifts himself into the air, swinging off with a sudden and quick hop kick towards Johnny's chest!

Johnny waits for the kick to come, and then he flows like water past it, letting the force of the kick drive Ken away from him. "I was just being charitable, dude. I gotta throw the little people a bone once in a while, right?" His sunglasses flash in the lights as he drops and sweeps a leg out to trip Ken and knock him off his feet. "Hya!"

Ken barely has time to notice that Johnny's going low before he ends up on his back. He hits the ground, his head smacking into a part that probably should've been set and he frowns. "Ugh!" He takes a second to roll backwards and back up to his feet. "You and that sweep. I hate that thing." Ken tosses his hair and takes off in a quick sprint for Johnny, leaning into it and aiming a kick at his leg. See if he can't slow this dude down by taking out that knee.

Johnny just laughs, and when Ken comes back at him with a kick for the leg, Johnny twists his leg so it absorbs the blow off the side - the impact is there, and he FEELS it, but it's not as bad as it could have been. "I'm just getting started, Masters!" he declares. He raises his arms and gestures to the crowd to hype them up, then his body becomes encased in a shadowy aura of chi colored green. Much like when they fought the giant tiki god together, Johnny surges forward with sudden speed, no, GLIDING across the ring like he was on wheels, one leg raised to deliver a hard kick to Ken's gut. "HYAA!"

Ken sidesteps and backpedals away from the shadowy kickings of Johnny Cage. In order to make this look good and play up to the crowd, he's leaning against something near the edge of the ring and looking at his nails. "Oh? Are you?" Ken smirks and takes a step, dropping that manicured hand and planting it with his other one. "Let's see if we can't do something about that." He steps forward and extends those arms, chi exploding from them in an sudden and familiar blast that gains cheers from the crowd watching. Oh yeah...
"Hadouken!"

Ah, Johnny knows all about them hadokens. He has a variation of his own, though obviously not as revered. Now it was time to REALLY jazz up the fight by meeting Ken's projectile with his own Johnny Cage Special. After Ken fires, Johnny forms a ball of green chi in his right hand, and pitches it underhanded at the blue energy ball before it hits him. Cage's projectile slams into the Hadoken and upon impact, both release colorful coronas of energy that flicker across the ring. Cage's ball, however, dissipates the hadoken after a second and flies right into Ken! "I got your Hadoken right here!"

"Dude! Come on! Copyright infringement!"
Ken smiles the entire time he's gearing up for another one of those chi flavored fireballs that he sends sailing at the green energy that's coming in his direction. He leans into this one, sending the blue fireball of chi sailing at a faster and more powerful rate, burning through Cage's own projectile, dissipating it as it does so.
This time, Ken's counter-counter attack catches Johnny off guard, and two Hadokens slam into his chest - he feels like someone punched him with weighted gloves. His breath is knocked out of him and he gasps while staggering back, feeling sharp pain where the two projectiles struck. He grits his teeth and regains focus, slapping his hands together. "Okay, definitely felt THAT one!" he remarks. He quickly approaches Ken, hoping to dart past the reach of the other man's arms and come close, delivering a series of jabs delivered in a very fast succession to the chest with both arms pumping.

As Johnny comes in close, Ken moves with him and his hands go up the moment Johnny starts with those punches el rapido. Ken's hands move just as fast, perhaps even faster, palms open as he attempts to slap them away each time one comes at him. "Nope. Nada. Close. Almost. Not!" Ken winks and pushes away another punch, before stepping closer to Cage and lifting from a half-crouched position with a rising dragon uppercut that only has a quick burst of flames around his fist as he aims for Cage's chin.
"Shoryuken!"

Johnny stares in disbelief as Ken just parries each punch. Sometimes, you forget there's people more dedicated to the craft than you are, lost in your own ego. Ken is quickly demonstrating that here. Johnny can't remember the last time he actually fought someone who was hardcore into the fighting scene. But he was finding he enjoyed it immensely. Now, he had a mighty flaming shoryuken to deal with here. He sees Ken's fist catch fire, and the crouch, and he knows what's going to happen. So, he performs the splits, and with a mighty cry of "HOOOOH!", uppercuts Ken in the groin as the blonde haired man comes up. Of course, he still takes a flaming uppercut to the face and chest, the flames raking across his front and causing an intense burning sensation - not to mention the punch grazing his chin and making his teeth rattle. But in his mind, this was so worth it.
Ken doesn't get the opportunity to gloat. Not this time. No, somewhere in the middle of his flaming fist trying to have a conversation with Johnny's face, he catches a serious punch to his own necessary equipment. The crunch sends Ken into a painful fall to the floor. He crumples for a moment and rolls to get some space between himself and Cage. "Ohhhhh you-- you you--" Ken's voice is an octave or two higher as he gets to his feet. He doesn't press his attack, though. Not at this moment. Oh no. He just kind of gets back into his fighting stance to see if he can't give himself a moment or two to feel a bit better. /Ouch/.

"Need a moment?" Johnny laughs. The crowd eats up his antics and he flashes them a winning smile and a thumbs up. "Hey, I'll have an ice pack handed to you as soon as this is over!" As ken focuses, the movie star is on the move, getting in close to deliver a swift hook kick to the side of Ken's thigh.

Ken's trying not to get actually angry. This is s fun and fair fight, even though somebody has decided to hit below the belt. He doesn't lose his ability to take it all in stride. "Nah." Ken responds, bringing his hands up to block that kick headed in his direction. He leans to the side and brings one of those sneakers up, aiming his heel at the side of Cage's skull. "Need a medic?" Ken keeps the witty banter going!

Like Ken, Johnny also blocks with his arm, the kick smacking into his tricep where it would have smashed into his head. His arm shakes, but he holds fast, despite the fresh heat of the impact running through that appendage. "Not yet. Besides..." Here he steps back and throws out his arms, a chi aura suddenly flaring up around him like a special effect. The green glow is reflected in his shades, and casts a color over the ring. "...you haven't experienced the TRUE Cage yet!"

Ken watches as cage tanks the kick and he drops himself down into a little crouch. He's only there for a moment because he's ready with a response. "Know what, Johnny?" Ken rises with a vortex of flames surrounding his arm as he spins and twirls on his rise towards his chin. "You're /fired/!" Ken's uttering of that horrible, horrible pun is just invective of how much and how hard Ken is trying to put Johnny Cage down! "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINRYUKEN!"

The ultra shoryuken strikes true. in a fiery inferno, Johnny is smacked almost to the cieling from the impressive display. He can feel his jaw crack and he flies up, silhouetted in the lights, before coming back down and bouncing hard. He coughs up some blood, and the lights disorient him. Is he still in Hollywood? He...oh. He just got hit by Ken, that's it.
Johnny slowly gets back up, wobbling. "whoa...that...was somethin'," he states, weakly.
His fists clench. "Alright, I'm not going out without a bang!" he yells. He charges Ken, throwing a jab to his face, followed by a hard kick to the stomach. Then he starts showboating around before he charges up his fist with chi and tries to clean Ken's clock.

Ken lands after the Shinryuu Ken and has a moment to realize what is coming his way. Mostly because Cage is all with the Witty Banter and that's always a good thing. The crowd is so hype and that has Ken getting even more into this than he was already.
"You sure 'bout that, Johnny?"
Ken steps into his defensive stance as Johnny rushes in. Ken raises a hand up to slap away that jab at his face. He sidesteps and raises a knee to deflect that kick to the side. Ken's eyes light up as Johnny showboats and he's got both outstretched to knock Johnny's incoming fist up and away from his 'clock'. Ken immediately steps closer to Johnny and winks at him. "You might wanna' get your stunt double in here."
Ken drops low and ignites his fist with flame once again. He rises up and aims that flaming fist in the direction of Cage's face. "Shoryuken Sequel!" Second time's the charm?

This time, despite Johnny's increased alertness to Ken's antics, the shoryuken powers through his attempt to guard and strikes Johnny, again, in the face. His glasses fly off as he goes sailing, landing on his back. He goes limp; perhaps this is it? But despite that he slowly resumes a sitting position, breathing hard and looking half-asleep. "You asked for this!" he gasps out.
It was time to show Ken his ultimate attack. Johnny yells to pump himself up and use his last burst of energy to charge his opponent, doing one of his trademark splits. Three hard, punishing punches are slammed into Ken's groin in quick succesion. After this, Johnny jumps up and slams his elbow in Ken's back, presumably while he's doubled over.

Ken is doing too much gloating at this moment. Way too much gloating. His back is even to Johnny as he plays this up to the crowd. He turns around just in time to see Johnny drop into the splits. "-- oh sh--"
Ken doesn't get to finish as he's doubled over from the trifecta of painful groin shots that has him in soprano flavored pain. That sudden elbow to his back crumples Ken to the floor. Where he lets out a grunt of pain. A soprano grunt.
He takes a moment but he rolls over to his back and stumbles up to his feet, only half-smiling while he's tries to get his hair out of his face.
Johnny lies face down after that effort, clearly out of it. As Ken is the winner despite the punishing groin assault, the crowd is cheering him. "Cut!" someone shouts off the side, just for effect.
Ken wanders off into the direction of that intern from earlier. "When he wakes up, tell him he owes me lunch." And with that Ken stumbles his way off towards the exit. Mostly because he's in so much groin pain that there's really no reason to try and chat the intern up even more. Because, uh, /ow/.
