Description: A handful of Children of the Nights led by Kiyomi goes out of their usual way and venture right into the heart of a civilized area. Hidden from the prying eyes of humans by Kiyomi's veils of illusions, the kitsune guides them to a bank in Zurich, where they can perform their evil deed : slaughter everyone who had the misfortune of being there, and take everything in their vaults. It is high time humans learn to fear Darkstalkers and not the opposite. Everything worked as plan, except one stubborn and suicidal person who was there, Hugin, who opposed Kiyomi.
Zurich, Switzerland : the city of banks. Switzerland had always been a safe haven for various treasures and money, thanks to its position in the middle of the alpine's mountains which offers a natural protection from other countries. The region is populated enough not to fear anything from Darkstalkers, their existence being but a might for the most of them...
It would all change this afternoon.
Kiyomi's resolution to strike fear in humans' heart in retaliation to what they have dared to make them endure has been growing into an obsession, one that became a plan she will soon realize. Never has the Children of the Night been so bold : Kiyomi's ambitions and desire for vengeance required them to take risky decisions. It had not been an hasty decision, it was throughoutly planned out. It had become a necessity.
A group of half a dozen Darkstalkers, the Children of the Night's elite, came with Kiyomi in the city. They came at night, found a spot to hide and lurk until the time would come, and when the time was right, Kiyomi used her veils of illusions to hide the presence of the beasts. A feat that drains her of her energy, and leaves her vulnerable, but it was her part of the job, so the Darkstalkers could make it to the bank they had spotted and perform their evil deed.
Once inside, the security guards barely have the time to realize what is going out, getting eviscerated brutally and neutralized as Kiyomi releases her veil of illusions over them.
Screams follows the brutal onslaught : the appearance of the beasts striking enough fear to delay the normal procedure in case of an assault on the back, "On the ground, now!!" Kiyomi shouts, and those who delays in performing this task gets leapt had by the beasts, tackled down. Soon everyone are pinned down and Kiyomi is leaning on a wall, attempting to recover from her exhaustation and extreme fatigue. She pulls herself up though, acting tough and taking the reign of leadership as she approaches one man, trying her blade at him, "Who can open the vaults?" She asks the man -- when he fails to answer her question, the enraged Kitsune slashes the man's throat without remorse. She glances at the others, pointing her sword at another person, asking out loud, "Who can open the vaults!?"
Fortunately, someone finally deems to answer, avoiding another bloodshed. Kiyomi performs a quick flick of her wrist to clean up her blade and she gestures to the beasts, "Take him to the vault and get what we want," She orders.
Zurich, Switzerland: City of Banks.
And where there are banks, there are people making retrievals, though not necessarily as violently brutal as Kiyomi and her pack are doing right now.
Enter Hugin Arshe, still haplessly looking for her lost sister. The woman had returned close to home to retrieve some money from her parents account to perhaps hire a private investigator that could help her out or something. Unfortunately, her extremely bad luck would have it that the bank refused to approve her retrieval.. on account that she was apparently dead.
"You've got to be freaking kidding me.." Muttered the woman before hanging up the phone and scheduling a trip to Switzerland.
Security had been a mess too, as it took some immense amount of convincing to let her through with her axe buckler strapped to her back. It's a back pack, she had said, a real fancy back pack, with axe blades.. just in case. The guards thought she was crazy of course, who on earth would be worried about their own safety in one of Switzerland's banks? Arguably one of the most secure places in the world! But after that run in with NESTS mercenaries that left her 'allegedly' dead and her sister lost, perhaps forever, she wasn't taking any chances.
It pays to be Nietzsche's poster child..
A young woman just so happens to get out of the bathroom right in time to see Kiyomi holding security guards and bankers alike on the ground at blade point.
"Aw hell!" Her eyes go wide and quickly straps her axe shield on her left forearm. "Why is this always happening to me!?"

The security guards have been disabled in a rather gruesome way -- enough to make anyone who still stayed to think twice about doing something that might anger the kitsune. Not only that, but the vixen obviously did not want to mess around and would not mind slaying anyone who might give her a reason to do so, just as she did for that poor person she interrogated who was too shaken to answer her.
The other Darkstalkers left their leader alone with the rest of the humans, knowing she'll be able to watch over the remaining humans. The more loot they could take, the better, after all, and their beastial and inhuman strength might even allow them to break through certain vaults if necessary.
Kiyomi's breathing is still heavy though from her fatigue, panting softly to recover from the exertion of her mass illusions on her fellows. Her tails sway back and forth behind her, not seeing the use to try and conceal herself to anyone right now once their deed was done. If she can recover her energy and strength by the time her pack returns, it would be ideal.
Her blade is drawn, pointed at some person who lies on the ground. Kiyomi's ears twitch when she hears the footsteps and she turns on her heels to face Hugin who seems surprised by the silent display of the main hall of the bank. Kiyomi glares at her, gritting her teeth in anger as she sees the woman standing.
"So eager to die!" She says, her tip of her blade grinding against the ground as she gives it an uprising slash : a crescent arc of energy projected from the sword slash straight for Hugin.

"Not really!" Comes Hugin's defiant warcry. No, seriously, it seems nowadays all she's been doing is just to stay alive as long as possible. The last encounters with that blood ninja monster and those Southtown thugs couldn't really be called fights, more like struggles to survive.
"AAAAAH!!" Here's what she intends to do too as she gives a cry of anger and slams herself shield first into the crescent energy thrown at her. The woman bulldozes her way in through the attack and just keeps on running. Kiyomi is just in luck, she managed to run into the one normal person that has been through so much senseless slaughter and death lately that this doesn't seem to phase her in the least. A battle for survival is just what Hugin calls an 'average Friday' now.
Following her heedless charge, the woman leaps at the Kitsune woman bringing her metal buckler on a wide arch to slam the front part on the side of Kiyomi's jaw.

The anger that twists the vixen's features is replaced momentarily by surprise as Hugin literally dashes through her spiritual wave : it didn't even manage to slow down her charge in the slightest which forces the kitsune to quickly reassess her position.
Kiyomi lifts her blade up, her right hand holding the blade, using it literally like her own shield to block the incoming buckler. The strength of Hugin's blow echoes through her arms, enough to break the kitsune's stance even if she had been bracing for Hugin's charge.
She stumbles back two steps to recover her balance, quickly regaining her composure. "You want to be a hero!? I'll turn you into a memory, kyaaa!" The vixen shouts, grasping the handle of her katana with both of her hands. She lifts the sword up over her head and swings it down into a mighty cleaving blow as if to test her buckler against the keen edge of her masterwork weapon.

"Not really!" Hugin repeats as she solidly bangs her shield against Kiyomi's blade. "Just trying to survive over here, don't mind me!"
The young woman seems to have a strange mixture of a helpless grin and a terrified look on her face, as if she really can't believe she's fighting a woman who's wearing fox ears and a tail (because that's clearly a costume) but determined to do her very best despite all odds.
So bold is she in fact, that when Kiyomi brings her sword down on top of her head to cleave her in two, Hugin brings her non-shielded arm and bats the sword out of the way, smacking it right on the flat. It cuts her pretty badly anyway since whacking a blade bare handed is no easy feat, but it seems that Hugin managed to pull it off somehow.
More than just looking very spectacular, it provides the means Hugin needs to get inside Kiyomi's circle of defense. The woman dives in deep and ducks down, grabbing hold of the fox lady's legs to lift her up and smash her back against one of the bank's walls.

The constant swaying and movement that comes from the myriad of tails behind her make them seem like they have a life of their own though : perhaps it is due to the movement of their battle, but closer inspection would show that the movement seems too articulated to be part of some sort of costume.
The woman's kimono has slightly opened up, leaving her thighs exposed as she fights against Hugin, allowing her better movement, the upper part having slid off from her left shoulder from the violent smash they've shared so far -- a little wardrobe malfunction.
When her blade is brushed aside by Hugin's free hand, it leaves the vixen open for the low tackle and she's able to grab her and lift her up. She slam against the bank's wall makes her growl in pain, arching her back some.
Alas, it might not be such a good idea though as Kiyomi decides to show Hugin her deadly assassin techniques : her thighs circling Hugin's waist, locking them around her to squeeze her and crushing midsection between her powerful legs. From this close though, she was unable to use her katana, fortunately, but she still holds it -- she leans against Hugin, wrapping her arms around her to try and hold her arms to limit Hugin's movement.
A wicked, malicious smile spreads on her lips, "Dear, dear... It's not very lady-like to take me so roughly like that against a wall..." She teases.

Hugin, being the more tomboyish of the Arshe twins, seems to be a bit more susceptible to these kinds of attacks, regardless of her actual sexual orientation which at this point remains undisclosed.
Here she was, minding her own business whilst she rammed an attacker against a wall with a bull rush charge, and then the next moment she has a face full of soft cleavage and a -very- comely woman purring close to her. "Whoa, what??" It's a little disconcerting to say the least. "Are you coming on to me??" Also not the brighter of the Arshe twins for sure, Munin seems to have gotten all the brains while Hugin got the brawn.
"Sorry, killing people for no reason is kind of a turn off of mine-HRRG!" Grumbles the girl whilst she braces herself for a fairly devastating leg squeeze on her hips. Man, that was surprisingly powerful, to think of what this woman is capable in the sack-NO! Focus Hugin, you gotta live through this one!
Shaking her head off sexy thoughts and also the pain of the leg squeeze, Hugin continues to maintain the grapple by pushing on Kiyomi, enjoying the fact she can't use her sword in this close proximity. Not a problem she has thanks to her preferred Savate style. Keeping the Muay Thai clinch, Hugin pushes down on the Kitsune before swinging a leg up to drive knee strike on the woman's tail bone.

It was enough of a distraction -- unsettling Hugin might just be enough to give the kitsune the advantage in this fight. She does indeed purr softly, her lips curled into that wicked smile as she attempts to crush her midsection. The thought made her moisten her lips in delight, that glee in her eyes showing she's enjoying the torments she's inflicting on the poor girl.
Hugin was much tougher than she would have expected at first though and her squirming and resiliency force her to let go of her. The kitsune was at a disadvantage when she was this close after all and Hugin could have started pounding her slender frame any moment.
When she attempts to smash her knee into her, Kiyomi squirms and slips out of Hugin's grasp, pushing herself away, performing an acrobatic roll on the ground once she breaks free.
"A shame," Kiyomi says, rising up to her feet, "You could have tasted a piece of heaven before your death," She then lunges at her, lifting her katana up into a flurry of blows : a succession of rapid slashes at different angles, precise strike meant to leave her bleeding.

"That's okay!" Grunts Hugin as her knee strike is deftly avoided. "I can really just settle for not dying." Heaven can wait for all she cares! She still has a lot of business pending here in this earth!
Despite her predicament, Hugin stands fast on this fight, quickly shifting her stance so she's facing Kiyomi again after the woman rolled out of the way. Perhaps it is sheer stupidity with a hardy mixture of reckless bravery that is keeping her from running away like all the others - if they were smart about it anyway - because when Kiyomi brings another flurry of blows against her, all Hugin does is dive into the attack.
"HrrrRAAA!" The woman yells as she pushes through the pain and swings a left haymaker, aiming to drive the top axe blade of her shield into Kiyomi's nose.

It is merely the kitsune's illusions that saves her from Hugin's devastating haymaker. Her swaying tails messing with Hugin's senses just enough to make her perceive the Kitsune a foot away from where she actually was, causing her to strike through the ghostly woman which disappears like a thin mist, revealing the true location of the kitsune just a foot away from where she attacked her.
The kitsune's lips curl into a wide grin, a wicked laughter escaping her throat as she fell for her illusion. The swarm of tails shaking dangerous, assaulting the woman's psyche to neutralize her senses -- soon, everything around of Hugin will seem to become engulfed in utter darkness, shrouding all of her senses, making it harder for her to senses Kiyomi's attack. Through an effort of will, she might be able to break through this veil and see flash of the kitsune, or totally cause this effect to stop before its too late to react.
Meanwhile, the kitsune takes a swift step back, raising the blade horizontal to her shoulders. She thrusts foward the blade aiming for an excessively precise and deadly strike meant for Hugin's heart, a potentially lethal attack if it is executed with utmost perfection.

On the other hand, Hugin doesn't seem to be having a wonderful time. The young woman grunts as her hard haymaker hits nothing but air and she immediately starts to back pedal fearing the worst for a counter attack.
Problem with illusions is that, in order to numb the senses, the target has to have some senses to nullify in the first place! Normally this kind of strange illusionary attacks are great for overcoming an enemy, but the specific problem with Hugin is that she only really reacts to attacks in a single way.
By diving forward.
"GRAAAAAH!!!"
She's kind of predictable unlike her more stealthy sister, but sometimes all that recklessness pays off.
Hugin's vision goes totally obscured and she just /rams/ herself into Kiyomi's blade anyway with wild abandon. The blade goes /right through her stomach/ pushing out of her of her back, and she ends up looking eye to eye with the Kiyomi with a fierce grin.
Then there's not one Hugin, but two! Looks like Kiyomi isn't the only able to do illusions.
"HRRUAAAA!!" The two Hugins, or is one Hugin and one Munin?, dash out from the sides of the sword and throw a double haymaker at the Kitsune, one sailing up top for the woman's face and the other down below to her abdomen.

This woman was insane.
Truly, Hugin desires to die -- that's Kiyomi's conclusion. Instead of cowering in fear when Kiyomi strips her of her senses, she lunges head on against her deadly attack.
The Kitsune's expression is one of utter surprise, enough to stun her. Her blade jammed into Hugin's stomach, she ends up vulnerable to combined attack of the two Hugins : the smash on her face and abdomen both combined sends her flying against one of the desk, crushing through it by the force of the blow.
The kitsune growls as she slowly rises back to her feet -- it takes her great effort to do this : her whole body aching from the impact and Hugin's blows.
Once she rises, a flick of her wrist is enough to cleanse the blade from the blood covering it. She lifts it up, her fingers grazing the edge to cause it to ignite with a shimmering sparkle. "I'll grant you your earnest wish... Die, worthless human!"
The woman spins around on her heels to gain momentum. She spins around and swings her glowing blade straight for Hugin's midsection, the shimmering energy meant to intensify her pain and sap away Hugin's vitality.

Nothing could really be further from the truth. Ever since Hugin apparently came back to life, she's done nothing but try to steer clear of dangerous situations. In fact, she hasn't even gotten back to the Neo League after all this time! Hugin is just the kind of girl that has tremendously bad luck, and these sort of things happen to her despite her repeated attempts to keep on the narrow path and just focus on finding her sister.
After dealing with it for this long she just really rolls with it and doesn't think about it too much.
"I know what you are but am I?" Hugin grunts as she forces her body to ignore the pain through comedy. Really, Hugin is still under the impression that this is just some chick with a sword wearing fake fox ears and a tail, being called a worthless human doesn't seem to be enough to let the girl know she's fighting a legitimate monster.
Not even the slash through her already bloodied midsection seems to get her to re-think her actions. Hugin just clenches her teeth with a snarl and charges in again, guard up high like a boxer to continue her attacks.
The girl ducks low to weave under potential punches and then swings a roundhouse kick at Kiyomi's leg.

The kitsune's intentions are quite clear -- she wishes to make Hugin suffer and pay for all the torments she and her pack had to endure, like all the others Kiyomi had injuried or slain this day, she would shed her blood to pay for the lives humans had taken amongst Darkstalkers.
The vixen mimics Hugin's gesture : ducking low as she does, her free hand reaching out for her outstretched leg and intercepting it before it can smack her. Her hand with her katana delivers an horizontal slash at Hugin, giving the kitsune enough momentum to spin fully around her, letting go of her leg so she can finish her spin with a rising vertical slash over her katana.
Not Hugin's concern to be perfectly honest! It's not her fault this Kitsune has a major chip on her shoulder against society. But naturally, just because she doesn't know what's going on is no excuse for her not to get involved. That would make sense, and if Hugin has learned anything is that there is no room for sensibility in her life. She's never even seen a Darkstalker before in her, unless Skarlet counts, nor does she know she's fighting one now.
"HRAA!" Driven back when her face is slashed by the katana, Hugin coils back and just... freaking.. charges again, it's like she can legitimately do nothing but attack. The woman jumps into Kiyomi's circle of defense, swinging her shield at her weapon to bash it out of the way and then follow through with a right cross punch to Kiyomi's fox ear.
COMBATSYS: Hugin can no longer fight.

Then she just shuts down completely and begins to fall face first.

The weapon is knocked aside by the shield bash, however her reflxes are keen enough to allow her deflect Hugin's punch. She lifts the katana up, ready to deliver the final blow -- and Hugin crumbles to the ground, "You will regret... This...!"
Just when she is about to deliver the final blow, a loud alarm rings through the complex : the kitsune growls and turns her gaze away toward someone who used the distraction to press the emergency alarms. The kitsune growls and lets go of Hugin, dashing toward the man and thrusting her katana into him in retribution, letting a scream of rage escape her throat.
The other Darkstalkers come in rushing, carrying countless heavy bags, "We've got what we want Renard, what's going on!?" They shout at her. The vixen glances at them, then over at the humans -- if only the alarm didn't go off, they could have slaughtered them all... Now, they had to leave before more would arrive and swarm them.
"Let's go," She simply calls out harsly, her expression stern as she turns on her heels and sheathes her katana. The beasts prepare to make their way out, using the kitsune's illusions to cover the first part of their escape...
