Profile: One of the lesser known names to fighting fans of the world, "Heavy D!" is a man who always tried hard, but until recently yielded little results. Having practiced since his earliest days to become a professional boxer, Heavy D! was only able to gain acceptance performing at smaller, lesser known boxing arenas for several years. That changed when Rugal briefly took over the King of Fighters tournament however, as Rugal incredibly had seen this man's talent when others had not, and sent an invitation to him. Heavy D! promptly recruited his friends, Lucky and Brian, to join him. While they lost the first Team Combat KoF pretty early on, they at least gained a bit of global exposure and earned a few fans. Heavy D! is now committed to improving the team's results in future tournaments and acts as their leader/captain. His boxing style is very visually impressive, and shows signs of real innovation. He loves meeting other talented fighters who are putting forth all their effort, and gets disappointed if they hold something back. Heavy D! also likes visiting bars fairly often, as well as encouraging children and people living in the slums to put forth strong efforts in whatever it is they're doing.
