Londan, Enguhland! Home of tea and crumpets and civilized, witty banter! If you like to generalize, at least. But thankfully, it is not raining or snowing today here in London, a rare occasion that makes it rather ideal -- for a League fight, of course!! In the very heart of London, crowds have begun to converge, gather around what has been set up as a wide arena for two of the tournaments competitors. Who they are, are largely unknown. But the first one, at least, will make himself known in a most dazzling way!
"HUUUAH!!"
Jumping down, from one of the building rooftops, is none other than the legendary Korean hero, the Defender of Justice, Kim Kaphwan!! There is a grin on his lips that shines despite the dim, gray skies, and as he lands, he lands in a combat-ready position, arms lifting up in front of his face as he looks eagerly around for his opponent. Now... where is he... Still, he'll continue to grin, and nod to the crowds once. This promises to be exciting!!!

Kim's opponent...he doesn't go for flash as much as the Embodiment of Justice seems to. In fact, the man known as D! takes about the least spectacular way in, simply walking through the crowd, jacket zipped up and sunglasses on his face as he sneaks into t he barricaded area. Only the fact that the league crew lets him through suggests that he is the opponent. Then again, as rare as D!'s fought in England, his lack of notoriety isn't unexpected.
Aside from that, however, he looks ready to fight. Quickly tucking his sunglasses into some deeply hidden, protective pocket in his jacket, the boxer takes a quick look at the prepared Kim. "So you're my opponent, huh? I fought another Taekwondo guy a couple of weeks before. He even looks a bit like you, aside from the green trim," he notes, slowly slipping into his usual boxing stance, fists held tight, arms brought together in a guard, and feet separated wide for support.

So, this is his opponent, eh? Kim offers Heavy D! a nod of his head as the other man enters, his legs sliding out to shoulder length. He seems like he knows what he's doing -- but in the League, who doesn't? It's more the boxer's words that catch Kim's attention, canting his head to the side as he considers the man. "You fought Jae Hoon?" Well, Kim didn't hear about that! But he at least hopes his son gave this man a run for his money. It'll be interesting to see just what D! can do. So, Kim gives a bright grin, and a mighty THUMBS UP.
"Let's do our best!"
He'll wait until Heavy D! is ready before he starts out with a rush towards the other man. Bare feet slamming against the hard concrete, Kim leaps at the last second to deliver a knee into D!'s chest, before swiftly following it with a brief open-palm thrust to the underside of the other man's jaw, complete with an "Orya!!" To come shortly afterwards.

The kick poses little problem for D!. While it's a little too much for him to dodge, his guard absorbs the knee strike easily, the followup palm thrust pushed aside with a swing of a forearm. Grunting a bit at the sting in his arms, he pushes forth. Now that Kim is in arm's range, time to show off that finesse. Circling around, opposite Kim's leg, the boxer starts snapping out quick jabs, trying to find a hole in his guard as he swings around the taekwondo master's body with quick shuffles of his feet.

Well, Heavy D! finds that hole in Kim's guard rather swiftly. Taken aback by the sudden flurry of blows, Kim goes stumbling -- but not for too long. Gritting his teeth, eyes filled with determination, Kim swoops in once more. This time he leaps, in an attempt to strike Heavy D! in a pincer-strike with both of his legs, clenching them around his neck. If it connects, he continues to fly through the air, using his momentum to toss the boxer into a building wall with speed and ferocity that only a Tae Kwon Do user could possess!

Kim does indeed take hold of D!'s head with his legs, flipping the boxer over with a quick snap, though he doesn't quite fly far enough to get tossed into a building. Which is a good thing, too, since it allows D! the chance to counter attack the throw. "Nghh...Alright..." he grunts, pulling himself up from the ground and turning about to face Kim again...at least, if Kim's turned about too. Either way, the justice maniac will have to deal with a nice sharp left hook aimed at the side of his head.

And deal with the sharp left hook he does, with a single hand raising to intercept and grab it! It stings, of course, but the stinging is all but negligible as Kim makes a brief dash to the side to avoid any potential continued assaults. He smiles wide nodding once and vigorously in approval as his legs tense, and he leaps into the air. This time, his intent is to land another hit on D! -- a quick, spinning kick meant to smack into the back of the boxer's head.

Well, that ducked. Taking that throw for nothing. But that doesn't mean D!'s off his game. The sharp snap kick is stopped with a toss up of his arm, blocking it just before it impacts with his head. "Nghh..." Not wanting to give Kim the chance for another string of attacks, D! darts his free arm forward, trying to grab the taekwondo master by the shoulder of his dougi and lift him off his feet. If successful...well, you'll see.

[OOC] Kim says, "I hate failing endures."
That's the ticket. As soon as Kim's off his feet, D! starts driving into his stomach with a rapid set of harsh body blows, aimed right into his gut. After about 5 or 6 straight punches, the boxer finally lets go, dropping Kim behind him with a swift toss down and away.
Well, it hits as D! wanted it to. All those punches hit Kim successfully, mainly because he chose not to move -- next time, he won't do anything so incredibly stupid as that. Trying to take the assault for a better opportunity to attack leaves Kim hurting more than anything else, but as he is tossed, he still recovers quite well in mid-air. Flying behind Heavy D!, he lands on his feet and braces himself before jumping once more to attack the other man with a vicious roundhouse kick to the side. Nothing too fancy, but that's not what Kim's really going for. "ORYAA!!"

Maybe tossing Kim behind him wasn't such a smart idea. As it is, Kim recovers much quicker than D! expected him to. The boxer is slow to turn around...and despite a quick flinch back into his guard, he's caught in the side with that hard roundhouse, forcing D! to stumble sideways. "NGhhh!" Grunting, the boxer hisses in a breath, thankful that the attack didn't manage to break a rib. Still, D!'s not kind on taking that lightly. Reeling his right arm back, he shuffles back after Kim. Quickly, the right arm starts forward...before it tucks in, D! leading off with his right foot as he ducks, winds up, and snaps out with a rising left cross right toward Kim's chin.

Well, ouch. That strike hits Kim's chin quite solidly, sending Kim flying through the air once more. However, he is once more relatively quite to recover, stumbling across the ground before he stops in a crouch. Grinning, the Korean Hero takes a moment to gather his determination... and then sprints off once more, racing towards Heavy D! with no small amount of speed. His intent is to strike Heavy D! with a vicious backflipping kick the moment he's close enough, with both feet, before continuing the motions as he lands, a small distance away, in splits.

The flipping kick, one that D!'s a bit familiar with, ends up slamming down right on top of D!, hammering him straight into the ground. As it is, D! manages only to drop to the ground on his knees. "Damn..." he grunts. He wanted to keep close, which is why he didn't pedal away from the attack, but still, that hurt. Hopefully, this next gambit will work. Darting forward, D! charges at the split Kim. Mid charge, he seems to phase away, his after-image all that's visible. Until he appears, crouched low at the justice fighter's side. With all his strength, the boxer drives down on Kim with hook after low hook, before finally rising up with a sharp, short-armed uppercut meant to bowl his opponent over.

Well. That probably would have hurt a whole lot more if Kim wasn't fast enough to block it. Glory be though, he is, and both arms snap up in order to absorb the brunt of that uppercut. It stings, he won't lie. It stings a whole, whole lot. But still, he's here, and he's not bowled over. Both of which are pluses. Eyes filled with determination, Kim moves in once more, in a quick snapping-forward motion. His intention is to grab Heavy D! by shoulder and leg before he can react, and spin the man around once before tossing him through the air with a good deal of force behind it. "HUAAAH!!" He'll worry about that hurting sensation in his arms a little bit later!!

Alas for D!, Kim's able to grab him and slam him down with a nice little shoulder throw. Looks like D!'s getting in on the crappy end of the stick as far as the beatings go. Still....he's not dead yet. As he lands, D! skids to a stop, using one of his hands to forcibly halt his momentum. That same hand helps him vault off the ground with an unsteady step, charging headlong toward Kim with a reeled back left hand, snapping that hand down with a sharp haymaker, meant to drive Kim straight into the ground.

Well, the haymaker connects... mainly because Kim chooses against moving or blocking. Instead, he takes the full brunt of the assault, knocking into the ground with a rough 'OOPH!' to accompany it -- but when he lands, he lands feet first. Flashing Heavy D! a brief, wide grin, the man pushes off of the ground -- harshly -- before flying through the air to assault Heavy D! with a kick in the chest at close range. A bit different than how he normally does it, but....

[OOC] HeavyD bites his tongue, sucks it in, and prays to god.

And as SOON as that initial jump kick hits, what follows is a flurry of blows, one after the other, intent on driving Heavy D! further and further away. They are all lightning-fast and strong in their own right, uncountable in number as Kim just keeps kicking, and kicking and kicking and kicking. After a while, however, he stops, and with a mighty "OOOOORYYAAAAA!!" Assaults D! with a final, backflipping kick, to send the other man flying through the air as he lands only a small distance away, on his feet, eyes filled with KOREAN JUSTICEY DETERMINATION!!!
Well, that was painful. D! ends up eating the massive closerange kick right in the chest. Then...the hell begins. More and more kicks hit all along his form, and finally, he's tossed away with the flip kick, the foot catching on his chin and sending him flying away right into the barricades of their fighting area. Slamming down on the ground, he almost looks flat out of it. However, he slowly starts to get up, his fist starting to glow a faint white. "My....turn," he slowly stays, nearly coughing up from the beating he took. Still, he manages, however gingerly, to get to his feet. Reeling his arm back, he takes aim at Kim, glaring hard at the taekwondo master. Finally, with a stomp forward of his left foot, and a sharp, snapping extension. As soon as it's at full length, the chi charged into D!'s hand explodes outward, bursting forward toward Kim like an explosive artillery shell.

Unfortunately... Kim is on a freakish Korean roll right now, as the glow in his eyes could tell anyone. It might not be something D! might notice until its too late, but his lips are smiling wide and enthusiastically, feet hopping him about as his eyes narrow in a sort of determination only Korea's favored son could possess, only the Defender of Justice could have. As Heavy D! bursts forward with his assault, Kim... RUNS RIGHT INTO IT! And letting out a solid "OOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" He SLAMS both hands forward, absolutely negating the physical force of D!'s blow, dispersing the chi, and using the momentum to LEAP into the air... and then assault the other man with a series of rapid-fire, harsh bicycle kicks, like a lesser version of his previous attack. FOR KOREAN FREAKISH JUSTICE!!
[OOC] HeavyD sighs. "Dodge on a crappy chance in hopes of avoiding damage...or block on the outside hope of a JD of my own..."

Well, that's about it. That's all D! had. And Kim not only took it, he essentially ignores it, barreling right through it. That's when you know you're screwed, when your ace card is swatted aside like nothing. As worn as D! is, he has no answer to the vicious bike kicks Kim drops into his face, the final smash driving him into the ground...and that's that. No last gasp, nada. D! was already on the brink, and that last hit simply made the point, KOing him.

Falling backwards as his assault finishes, Kim takes in a deep breath, ready for the next assault -- except there is none. Kim blinks once as he cants his head to the side, looking down at D!... and blinking. Oops. Looks like he did a bit too much. Rubbing his head, the Tae Kwon Do master looks around him... before offering a mighty thumbs up!! The grin that accompanies it SHINES with that unnatural light source -- before he leaps up onto that same rooftop he came from, off once more before reporters can snag him. But not before sending a message to Heavy D!'s prone form --
"Thank you, for the great fight!!"
