Description: League Fightage in the Snowy Park! What starts as a onesided snowball fight ends up with some unique 'healing'. (Winner: Kyoko)
The park. What a perfect place to have a fight. The weather makes it just wonderful. A bit chilly considering the season. Snow is falling from the heavens and Kyoko feels like she's a kid again right in the middle of the park. Considering how the area has been more or less secured for this battle to come, there's not much of anyone around aside from the crew of the league who are about to film this and make everything official.
The nurse can't help but chuckle to herself, heaving a sigh as she takes deep breathes of fresh air. She bites her lips and glances around a little before she kneels and moves her hands up into the snow, to make up a few snowballs. Ah yep, she truly feels like she's younger here. Or at least she's degressed a few years mentally thanks to the snow.
D!'s never been much for snow. Sure, it can be fun, but he's not giddy over it, especially when it gets in the way of training, or in this case, fighting. In any case, he's stackd out in a little more than his usual fighting outfit. SPecifically, he's got on his grey training hoodie under his jacket, and he's got what almost looks like long wrestling tights rather than his usual biking shorts. It's hard to fight when you're freezing, after all. In any case, he gives a good glance at the league crew, before he takes a look at the schoolteacher...making snowballs. "...are you ready?" he calls Kyoko's way, frowning. Is she taking this seriously at all?
Packing up a rather large snowball in her mittens, Kyoko chuckles and she straightens herself up. The woman's all dressed up for winter, with a scarf, mittens and coat... Aside from that, she's in stockings and mini-skirt it would seem. The woman chuckles softly and she tilts her head to one side, "I'm ready whenever you are." Kyoko says with a few nods of her head.
The woman hums and she glances over to the judges and she gives them a nod of her head to announce them they're ready to fight. Is she for real? Seems like it.
HeavyD sighs, shaking his head at Kyoko. Whatever....if she says she's ready, she's ready...he's not going to accuse her of otherwise. Slowly, the boxer settles down into a stance, his feet shift apartin the snow, fists rising and guarding his face. Finally, once he's settled in, he gives a nod to the judges as well, who give the quick signal to go. D!, however, holds back. Even if Kyoko's seemingly aloof...best to be wary and figure out what she's up to...

Underestimation can be a powerful weapon -- and unlike younger fighters, Kyoko is a wise, cunning and sage woman who prefers to play her fighters on the tactic and strategy rather than the brawn and brawl. She takes a moment to access her target's movement and motion, the way he actually settles himself and raises his hands to protect his face. Oooh, a boxer now... That's a little more interesting than just a brawler. Kyoko's lips curl into a smile and seeing how HeavyD is either just doing the same and accessing her, Kyoko figures out it's best for her to leap right in action and not give him the chance to know what's her own fighting style.
How? Well simply by being a little bit unsettling. In fact, that snow ball she has gathered up in her hands serve her as a weapon as she throws it off at HeavyD. Let's see if his guard will prevent him from getting a snow-covered face or if he'll think fast enough to dodge that one.

Well, D! didn't quite expect her to throw the snowball...but now that she's thrown it, he may as well use it to his advantage. The incoming ice ball makes for a perfect excuse to snap out a quick burst of his chi, the boxer sending out an uppercut that results in a nice, scattering blast of energy to melt the ball away. NOt something you'd expect from a boxer, eh? Now Kyoko has to deal with something that could do a lot more damage than a simple snowball....

Now -that's- something unexpected. Perhaps the boxer happens to be a bit more ressourceful than Kyoko had first thought. Then again, the first few rounds of a fight always are all about gauging up your opponent, aren't they? At least Kyoko believes so. Her eyes widen a bit as D! answers to her thrown snowball by hurling a blast of chi over it to interrupt it.
Despite her obviously not ready for this, Kyoko lifts her arms up to shield herself from the incoming blast of chi. Kyoko growls a bit and she waves her arms about, dismissing the the chi energy, the impact causing her to slide if only a few inches backward on the snowy surface. Her lips curl into a smile and she says, "Well not too bad, didn't expect something like that, to be honest..."

HeavyD smirks behind his fists at Kyoko's surprise. "You better be prepared for more," he warns. Rather than hold back, however, the boxer decides to take the offensive this time, rushing forward toward Kyoko as she hangs back this time. Again, however, he seems more about gauging her than anything, as the searching jabs testing her guard seem to prove.

"Have no fear for me," Kyoko says, lips curling into a wide grin, "My awareness in combat is not lacking, I'm always ready," And with that, Kyoko merely lifts her arms up to block the incoming jab. Looks like Kyoko's guard is not lacking, at least that's for sure, despite how fast HeavyD's attack might have been, she's... faster, or at least, she's lucky.
The woman then attempts to grasp D!'s arm and get a hold of him, pulling him closer to her. If she suceeds, she'll go for a series of kneeshots right for his abdomen.

HeavyD's arm is grabbed at. However, with one hand still free, it's more than enough to stop the knees from smacking into his gut. Each one meets a slap down from the palm of his hand, leaving him with a slightly stinging hand, but not too worse for the wear. "I'll keep that in mind," he quickly comments, before he goes into a counter attack. His has a similar idea, using their close proximity to hammer at her gut. However, he's content with just one, sharp body blow, rather than her attempted knees.

This time it doesn't seem like Kyoko can react quick enough to actually move out from those sharp strike at her guts. Kyoko winces a little and she growls. Looks like this approach isn't quite the good one. Seeing how she already has a hold of HeavyD's arm, she figures she might as well try to use this to her advantage and turn things around. She growls and tries to twist his arm about in a rather painful way, trying to move behind him and force D! in a painful armlock.

This time, D! cant stop it, as he's pulled down into a fierce armlock. "NGHhh!" Seeing how dependant he is on his arms, it's a bad spot. One he attempts to force his way out of through simple means. Basically trying to pepper Kyoko in the face with repeated blows until she lets go. Nothing fancy or particularly strong, but hopefully, it'll get him out of his predicament.

Once... Ouch. Twice... Alright, she got the message. If she can't keep herself safe that way, she'll have to opt for something else. D! gets just what he wants. Kyoko lets go of him, however, in the process, she also attempts to wrap her arms around the man's chest and use the fact he doesn't quite yet have the use of his other arm to actually attempt to give him a suplex.
IF she manages to lock her arms around his chest, Kyoko will then hurl him off over her head and slam him down to the ground behind her by arcing her back and throwing him off over her head.

Well, that sucked. Lock successful, throw successful...head hurtin'. The suplex hits dead home, causing a nice painful ringing in D!'s head. "Onnghh...." he groans, slowly pulling himself up to his feet. That really sucked. "Dammit," he grumbles, finally getting to his knees to get an eye on Kyoko. Time to get serious, it seems. Snapping to his feet, he reels his left hand way back, clenching his fist tight before he lets loose with a sharp, overhand punch, meant to drive Kyoko into the snow, preferably face first.

Kyoko's a wise fighter after all -- seems like she's had a bad enough experience with D!'s fist to know she's better not try to fight him on his own terms. If he can pack a punch and take it like a man, Kyoko will just have to go in a more subtle way. Go with grace and feminine swiftness, be as nimble as a cat and twists the tree until it breaks. At least that's what she's good at. Pressure point and joint manipulation.
Kyoko gets back to her feet and when D! charges at her, the woman side-steps, avoiding the incoming punch. In fact, she attempts to make D! trip while he charges at her and using her legs, she even attempts to block his legs and twists his joints in ways that aren't meant to be done to lock him down and immobilize him more or less while he's in pain. Of course, he's a boxer so even if that hurts, he probably can take it like a man still, no?

THis time, D! is able to minimize the damage. While he is indeed tripped, he manages to push himself out of the way, avoiding the deadly leg lock that would've possibly cripped him. Seeing as this is going less and less his way, he decides to try and get some room. He swings out with a sharp hook, his body fading back as he swings out in hopes of either hitting her, or at the least, forcing her to backstep too, in order to get some space between them.

Unfortunately, D doesn't quite get what he wants. Kyoko merely rolls with it and as the incoming hook punch is sent her way, Kyoko turns around on her heels and gets right beside it. She moves her hands, not to strike but to let her fingers get a hold of D's arm. She's not going to give him a powerful arm-lock like last time, nope, instead, she opts to hold up his hand and wrists and use her thumbs and fingers to press on his joints, applying pressure and twisting it to cause him great pain. Not enough for D to call out for mommy but that's still much more than anyone would expect from just her holding your hand.

Ok, this is bloody ridiculous. D! seems totally inept today at preventing his arms from being yanked and snapped and such. In this case, he's caught by said arm and jabbed repeatedly in some insane pressure points, causing him to writhe as the murderous massage is applied. "NGHHH!!" Fed up at this point, D! decides to take his free arm and take a risk. Raising up his fist, he slams it into the ground beside him, hoping at the very least that Kyoko holds back this time...at at best, gets caught in the massive chi blast.

Caught in the blast of chi, Kyoko winces and she staggers back a few times, letting go of D! Kyoko coughs a few times and she sticks her tongue out a bit in pain, though she manages to hold on screaming. She grunts a bit and her lips curl into a wide grin, "Well, definately, wouldn't expect so much chi coming from a boxer..." Kyoko says as she moves her arms up to idly knead her muscles and actually ease the pain she's feeling right now, massaging her shoulders and arms.
Thank god, D! is finally free of that pressure point assault. And with Kyoko focused on rehabbing herself, she seems painfully open for an attack of his own. Charging forward, the boxer snaps out yet another hard set of punches, trying to flatten out Kyoko with several fierce blows. Seems like he's going for the quick knock out now that he feels his groove coming on.

Don't scream victory too soon. Kyoko has to let go of D! once again and she grunts, staggering about a little and trying to raise her guard up but to no avail as D! gets into a serie of hard punches. Kyoko moves with it and she manages to actually make those punches hurt less than they should... How? Hard to tell, but it's as if she's slippery enough to let those fists bounce off from her or 'slide' along her.
Kyoko frowns a bit and she bites her lips, "Alright, time to get serious..." And unfortunately for HeavyD, it would seem that Kyoko attempts once again to get her hands on HeavyD and lock him into the most painful of locks and use her pressure manipulation to its best...

This is just the beginning of more pain to poor D!'s joint. Kyoko merely presses on his hands and elbows, twisting in ways they shouldn't, even his shoulders and backs aren't spared as Kyoko gives D! the wide list of submissions it would seem. Thankfully she lets go of him after a while but that ought to have been pretty painful.
Yeah...maybe D! was a bit too gung ho there. In any case, the boxer ends up eating the complex grab, his elbows and hands twisted painfully. Is that even possible, what she's doing? Well, D! finds out the hard way that it is...and he pays for it with nearly paralyzed arms, the pain excruciating enough that he can barely lift them up. But lift them he must...because he has one last ace he has to play. Pulling his arm up, he charges the last of his chi into his right fist, the energy slightly numbing over the pain. Finally, with a desperate twist around, he tries to simply hook his right hand into Kyoko's face, letting loose with all that power with explosive force. Normally, he does this at range, usually able to afford to let the chi itself take out the opponent...but right now, as beaten as he is, he can't afford that.

This doesn't look good -- the way HeavyD is about to strike, Kyoko knows it's going to hurt and so, she actually has to let go of him so that she may defend herself properly. She lifts her arms up and blocks D's chi powered fists before they hit her face, her arms taking most of the hit but the blast quite literally forcing Kyoko a few steps back. The woman grunts a bit and she bites her lips, panting softly as she lifts her gaze up to HeavyD.
Time to finish this. Or at least try to, she knows he's not too strong after those wonderful pressure points play, now maybe he won't be able to take her hits just as well. Kyoko leaps up in the air and she goes into a series of ascending kicks right over D!, giving him a three kicks while she still stays in the air, even perhaps forcing him off his feet if she's lucky enough to catch him off guard.

Alas, D!'s final gasp is simply blocked, the full impact blunted, and leaving him painfully open to the massive set of kicks. Indeed, those pressure points ahve weakened him enough that he just can't put up a fight...not that he did much of it before, judging from how easily Kyoko managed to grab D! most times. In any case, D! can't let this go off without one last gasp. Swinging hard and desperately, he tries to uppercut at Kyoko as he starts to fly away from that final kick. If he hits home, at least he won't be too ashamed...if not...sucks to be D!.

Unfortunately, the nurse's reaction is quick to HeavyD's uppercut. Once she lands back on her feet she swiftly moves to the side and she counters by giving him a kick punch right in his guts to break his momemtum. And then, Kyoko quickly spins on herself and she screams, "Kyaaa!" And with that, she gives a powerful arcing kick on D!'s chest, which is aimed to actually knock him back and down in the snow for good. This is the end... At least she knows it, being a nurse, she's well aware he just can't keep pushing himself in his current condition. Panting loudly, Kyoko's lips curl into a smile and she wals over to him, "Well... You did pretty good..." Kyoko says as she goes over to help him up.
