Match of the Millennium

Kazuya Mishima is the result of a harsh childhood and a cold-hearted father's ambitions. Son of Heihachi Mishima, he was expected to be every bit as strong and capable as the man expected him to be. When Kazuya failed to live up to his father's expectations, he was thrown into a ravine with the instructions to live, return, and prove his worth. He did, miraculously, though he returned a changed young man. Hatred and vengeance seethed in his heart, his new aim in life to one day kill his father. Despite this, he befriended his newly-adopted brother Lee Chaolan, or at least made it seem so. Kazuya grew strong enough to emerge victorious in fighting championships the world over and, for a time, it seemed like Heihachi's dream of having a strong son succeed him would come true. This came much sooner than he ever thought. Kazuya staged a coup and overthrew his father, throwing Heihachi into the very same ravine that he was discarded in so many years ago. He had a brief run at running the Mishima Zaibatsu, using its wealth and power to reach increasingly sinister goals. Just as the son had survived, however, so too did the father. Kazuya was beaten and, feared as being too dangerous to live, thrown into a volcano. Very few people know that he actually survived and he runs the newly-established G Corporation, a direct rival to his father's Mishima Corporation. He has kidnapped the brilliant Doctor Boskonovitch and forces him to work in his vile laboratories.
