Akuma
"Your reason will fall before the might of my fist."
A mysterious fighter with incredible abilities, Akuma is easily one of the most fearsome forces in the entire world. Few understand his motives or reasonings, but he seems determined to seek ultimate perfection, no matter who stands in his way. The brother of Gouken, he chose to embrace the Killing Intent forsaken by his sibling. The product of this is the full mastery of the ultimate technique taught to the brothers by Goutetsu--the Shun Goku Satsu. Capable of turning the whole of a person's sins against them, it is arguably the most powerful technique ever devised, when used on the right opponent. Those who are pure-hearted are actually more resilient to the attack, and immunity IS possible. He killed his own brother, who opposed his usage of the Killing Intent. Despite his dreadful nature, he is not actually evil; He believes that the entire purpose of fighting is as a killing art. He treats it as such, and he may be correct. Akuma seeks to unleash the Killing Intent in Ryu, believing him to be held back from his full potential by Gouken's refusal to teach him how to harness the true power of Ansatsuken. He longs to find the ultimate opponent -- one capable of matching him at his best, and perhaps even killing him.
