"That's it? Well, I'm not angry, just disappointed."

Kyo is the latest descendant of the legendary Kusanagi clan, who along with the Yagami and Yata families managed to seal away the Orochi power 1800 years ago. Inheriting his bloodline's powerful crimson flames has left the next descendant of the Kusanagi clan with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Proud and arrogant, he doesn't feel the need to train; indeed, the prodigy's natural-born talent is such that he probably doesn't need to. His pride is such that he sees very few people to be worth his time, even to the point of disrespect towards his father Saishu. Kyo's also got a knack for taunting his opponents even in the middle of a fight. Only his true friends really see the side of Kyo with some redeeming qualities in it, and only they know that while Kyo doesn't exactly fit the image of a traditional hero, when it matters most he'll always come through for them and do the right thing.

It seems Ultratech is starting out easy, bringing him to a nice little cafe at the local mall. He's probably even been there a few times. His opponent however, has not. A monster hunter of some renown, Baiken likely has very little interest in the pup brought before her, but Killer Instinct is not like the Red Expo.
