Description: Outside of Gedo High, two of the remaining participants in the Inter-High tournament, Kyo Kusanagi and Jin Kazama face off. Will these two, who have so much in common, come to an understanding? Or will they just come to blows? (Winner: Jin)
Leaning up against one of the graffiti covered walls the figure in the hoodie might have looked right at home in the environment, if only it was of a style that could blend in to anything. Arms folded across his chest defiantly (complete with fur cuffs)and face completely lost in the deep shadow of the cowl there's naught to see of the newly added challenger, though already named by this event he has little chance of hiding his identity. That fur trimmed brown cowl with costume bear ears wavering in the breeze that makes one of the ears twitch constantly. Sprawled across the back of the hoodie now pressed against the wall is a giant paw print logo bearing the two banners pronouncing 'KUMA HIGH' above and below.
Gedo steet wasn't looking as rough as he had come to believe it would. Its reputation was something a little worse seeming than the reality, but that maybe did even more for this spectale. Such that he stood out even more and was making something of a scene that was becoming a neighbourhood wide attraction. People were standing out in front of storefronts, homes and school snapping photographs, streaming video and talking quietly to one another, whispers passing behind raised hands and triggering laughter and smiles.
That old man!! - He was not content to meddle in the affairs of some tournament. He had to involve half his remaining family in the process. Jin had absolutely no use for the prize, no real interest in the tournament and no reason to be here; ..Aside from some soulful and sad eyes that he might decline to represent their school on presentation of the 'school uniform jacket.'
". . . It's fine, I never needed a social life."
The street itself hasn't been taped up or anything but an assortment of school equipment, oil drums and dumpsters have just cordoned off the street by being dragged into it, barring most any possible traffic and creating something of a hazard. The judge is scribbling away at something on a clipboard and trying not to be caught looking at Jin, even some of the Atelier personnel appear to be watching as they wait for the fight.
Jin and Kyo probably have a lot more in common than they'd freely admit. They're both heirs to powerful bloodlines, both supposedly destined for things far greater than themselves... and both are cursed with the kind of family that make having enemies look attractive. At least in Kyo's case there's only one generation of crazy--his father. Jin would certainly be correct in contending, if he were to contend such a thing, that Heihachi and Kazuya outmatch Saishu in crazy. it's probably something the two could share a drink over.
Unfortunately, life--and the vagaries of tournament pairings--have a much different meeting in mind for the two.
Kyo's allegiance is written all over his clothing as well--though perhaps not as gaudily as having 'KUMA HIGH' printed on his jacket. It's there in the golden sunburst that decorates the back of his jacket, the sigil that's repeated on his fingerless gloves and the leather bracers he wears. Gedo Street -is- remarkably quiet, even with students crowding to see the upcoming fight; Kyo strolls, nay, saunters into the area, thumbs hooked into the front pockets of his pants. He looks as casual as can be--but as his gaze falls on Jin, his attitude changes, subtly. He didn't treat any of his prior opponents with anything resembling respect...
But maybe he senses something about Jin that demands a little more respect than, say, May did. Or Kensou. Kyo stops near the center of the marked-out arena, and tightens his gloves... and then, because he's an arrogant showoff, he lights a flame with a snap of his fingers, and with another flick of the fingers, sends the gout of flame hissing towards Jin--though it'll fade out well before it reaches him. It's his version of the challenge.
The stream of flame dimly illuminating the face hidden in the depths of cosplay horrors and flashing before his eyes such as to get his attention. Thick brows shadowing eyes that drink in the display of cockiness and challenge, the light reflected as sullen seeming eyes sharpen and narrow their focus upon Kyo; enough of a display to spark his own interest in the proceedings. Maybe - the old man Heihachi had the right idea after all if there were some strong opponents to be had here.
Shrugging himself off the wall the figure straightens to a similar height, arms falling to his sides and very loose fitting but snug around something in his sleeves; they look disproportionately thick and nearly hang long enough to obscure his hands. Faint hints of red and black around his fingers show some evidence of the heavy armguards concealed beneath.
The crowd beginning to get amped up after the light show beginning to applaud and shout encouragement that's very mixed for both fighters.
The display of firepower had the curious effect of causing him to quirk his mouth into something approximating a smile, a rare occurrence even as it's lost to sight, as he approaches he starts winding his shoulder around to loosen the joint up. He hadn't been expecting to be confronted by a really strong guy in a setting like this, and is feeling invigorated to be suddenly proven wrong. Standing opposite Kyo the challenger lifts both his arms into a karate style ready stance, the sight of the thick red arm guards studded with metal rivets over hard looking fists heavily at odds with the display as the challenger tucks his chin in and the two button eyes on the hood become visible at this new angle.
However much the new guy might look like a joke on the outside to the crowd but he seems dangerous enough up close, and probably would be dangerously embarrassing to lose to if he looked like that.
Kyo isn't taking Jin as a joke. Kuma High jacket aside, he has a pretty keen eye for his opponents; he's pretty good at telling how good they are--at least in relation to himself. It's arrogant to say, but Kyo knew he was going to win versus May and Kensou. He thinks that Jin is going to be a much tougher fight. His provocation having had the intended effect, Kyo matches Jin's brief grin with one of his own, an almost good-natured grin as he takes his own stance--not too different from Jin's except in the fine details.
And...
... he waits.
He's starting to bounce lightly on the balls of his feet, back and forth, keeping his feet light, but there's zero indication that he intends to move first. Perhaps belatedly, spotlights snap on, the electric sizzle and thrumming pop of heavy capacitors coming online hidden underneath the rising sound of the crowd. Kyo tunes all that out, though--his focus is entirely on Jin. He knows only a little about the Mishimas, having never really run in the zaibatsu circle, but what he knows is enough. "C'mon," he says, half under his breath.
"Show me somethin' good..."

'Kuma-chan' remains stoic to the call of some of the schoolgirls are yelling as encouragement toward him but is off the mark as soon as the Judge calls for the match to 'Hajime!' moving with an intensity and urgency almost completely opposed Kyo's relaxed stance thus far even if their posture is remarkably similar; lunging in toward and grabbing at Kyo's right arm with his own he jerks to try and pull his opponent off balance and draw the arm low.
The hoodies flapping loudly about him with the sudden lunge and the two fighters seem to be launching into a display that seems to be rather startling to the crowd. The level kids are fighting at these days!
Intent on kicking his foot up along the line of this arm and angle toward Kyo's head intent on wiping a foot into their cheek and snapping their head aside and then sweep back again across the same target with the heel and sends them flying, he's fully committed and visualising, moving through the steps necessary to make this a reality and stay in close with someone who has already showed off such impressive looking fire powers they can throw around.

Kyo 0/-------/------=|-------\-------\0 Jin
Kyo isn't unprepared for Jin's speed, but being prepared and being able to do anything about it are entirely different things. Jin darts in, grabbing for his right arm, and the Kazama boy yanks that arm out of position. Kyo sees the kicks coming--he has to improvise a defense, and so he throws his left arm in the way, absorbing some of those kicks and letting him turn away the worst of it. After that second kick he wrenches away from Jin, violently.
Refusing to show any sign of pain, Kyo decides that he wants a little more room--so he takes a quick backstep. But that's not all he does--as he goes, he's already pulling on that power of his, gathering fire into his right hand. Raising it up to his left shoulder as he lands, he takes just a moment to plant his feet--
--and then he flings the arm forward and down, sweeping it out, and unleashing that fire into the ground. It doesn't disperse when it hits--it forms a quick-moving mass, almost like a hissing snake of fire, or at least its head, lashing along the ground for the hoodie-wearing Jin.
Jin says, "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuAahPvxBnw You might enjoy how cheesy yet awesome that is."

Jin throws up a forearm, the wave breaks against it and parts around his body with a brilliant flare, the fuzzy cuff of the hoodie disintegrating on contact with the fire and all but instantly flayed off of and cindered like glowing edges peeling back away from the arm guard as the material is reduced to ash and blown away. The arm guard itself wisps away smoke with the remotest of singeing.
Definately wearing a vaguely sardonic smile Jin draws the line short of scoffing at the attack and makes an approving 'Hmph!' both in response to the destruction of part of the hooded sweatshirt and apparent power of his opponent, the differences in style between them are starting to take shape as much as the similarities.
half stepping one leg back he sprints right at Kyo, dropping his shoulder and torso low to try and catch Kyo right across the midsection and carry them to the ground. If Kyo wanted to keep his distance, hopping back and manoeuvrability then Jin wanted to stay right on top of him. A successful flurry of punches to the face and attempt at an arm bar was bound to win him no points with his opponent or the crowds, unless it were points for efficency.

Kyo 0/-------/----===|===----\-------\0 Jin
Kyo doesn't really know a whole lot about the Mishima style of fighting--despite it being roughly as old and venerable as the Kusanagi arts--much less about any variant that Jin might practice. It's part of his charm(?), that willful ignorance about things that he should probably know about. Like his girlfriend's birthday, or her favorite food, or things like that. But he does recognize certain things.
Like an attempt to tackle him--an old-fashioned shoulder tackle. It's a classic attack, and one that, from a man of Jin's strength and skill, demands a response. Kyo doesn't even think about it, acting with the instinctive reflexes honed by his years of training that have put him where he is today--the presumptive heir of the Kusanagi legacy. It's more than a bloodline, though that certainly comes into play, too.
Kyo meets that shoulder tackle with both forearms, not just blocking but pushing outwards, meeting force with force, blunting Jin's charge--but that's only the first part. Moments after he stops Jin, he swivels--and brings an elbow down into Jin's lowered head. The impact is enhanced with more of that flame, exploding downwards into Jin like a directed charge.
Finding firm contact Kusunagi's elbow drives down hard against the back of the hoodie, his head is swept downward and her can feel the impact in the back of his skull, the protest of abused muscles running across neck and shoulders not even the faintest of deterrents. Nor is the fire lapping at his collar and shoulders.
Despite taking the hit Jin remains steadfast, all that skill, technique and literal firepower that had killed his momentum, that had stopped him in his tracks ignored as he switches gears and resumes attacking like a bone jarring attack like that could possibly be shrugged off.
A foot dances sideways and he twirls in place, one arm raised to slap aside the elbow that had fallen against the back of his head, his hand attempting to close over and hold it in place even as he cocks and raises a knee, viciously stabbing the low angled high kick upwards toward Kyo's head.
The whole time he's doing this the flames whip about and scatter bright embers and ashes as 'Kuma-chan' starts to disintegrate in front of the crowd, The hoodie wasn't made to spec to handle Kusanagi flames. Thus, neither of these boys we're probably going to be terribly popular with the girls around here for at least a couple hours after this fight.
Some of the watching children are even having their eyes covered or being ushered away.

Kyo's a little surprised that Jin takes the elbow to the head and remains standing, but it isn't unheard of. It just proves that Jin is a worthy competitor. That said, Kyo isn't going to give Jin an inch--he'll have to *take* what he wants, when it comes down to it. Twisting, Kyo breaks the grip on his elbow, fading back a half-step to give himself time to block that incoming kick, taking it on the forearm and pushing that kick away.
"Not bad," remarks Kyo, sounding mildly impressed, that his peer would be able to take that and remain standing. "But you'll need more than that to take -me- down," retorts the Kusanagi scion, smirking. He breaks backwards again, just a half-step, then steps forward, using that small space to generate momentum.
That momentum is put into a snapping side kick, Kyo's foot aimed for Jin's breadbasket--right in his stomach. It might not be the most precise kick, but it'll be plenty strong enough to cause Jin some pain.

Jin back-sliding away from Kyo with the impact, asphalt grates along the soles of his shoes as her reluctantly gives up ground and some of the air in his lung. He had felt that impactful driving kick to to his abdomen but more importantly is drives him away, the way his arm had been cocked back and he had been moving right into the blow it could have been a nasty hit!
Raising one of his hands to his abdomen, it covers the point of impact, fingers lightly digging into the material as he evaluates the blow, quick as he straightens and squares back up with Kyo, this wasn't bad at all! He was having fun and Kyo's moves might be powerful but they were nothing like sparring with his grandfather. All this and this guy was probably close to his own age.
Fingers finding the zipper on the front of his hoodie he unzips it with one rough motion and slings the article of clothing off to the ground where it can continue to burn for all he really cares. Shirtless beneath Jin boasts an impressive looking physique of hard sculpted muscle, a body used to abusive levels of training and sparring with people straddling the line between mortals and monsters.
"Not bad yourself, I didn't expect there would be anyone this strong in a tournament like this. "
It's obviously a pleasant surprise for Jin from his statement but it doesn't quite reach his face or alter his expression. Fierce thick brows and lips carved into a solemn line he looks anything but happy. In the crowds additional snapshots are being taken now that one of the boys had gotten his shirt off.
Seizing the initiative is imperative to winning the fight. Jin's attempt fails to seize the initiative, but certainly gains some fans with the removal of the hoodie. "Tournaments are there to weed out the weak and bring the strong together," replies Kyo, "or at least, that's what my father said." He seems to consider it for a moment then shrugs.
"Guess it's true. I've met some strong fighters through this tournament..." He smirks.
"But only a few that I think are at the same level as me."
Alright, that's enough talk--Kyo starts moving in again. There's more of an economy of motion to his movements--he's tightening his game up, feinting a left jab before bringing his right fist around in a sharp hook punch. The motions are just like a boxer's--even his stance changes slightly, elbows pulling in towards his body somewhat.
Kyo isn't nearly as appealing to the audience--or at least the girls in the audience--as Jin, but he isn't here to win popularity points.

Despite appearing solemn Jin listens interestedly to Kyo relaying his experiences of the tournament to this point. Seemed a fair enough assessment, there weren't that many people out there he had seen that could keep up with the older Mishima heirs; Lee or reportedly Kazuya.
"So that's how it is.."
His acceptance of the information provided is instant, Kyo was strong enough that he had no reason to doubt that the tourney had been a waste of his time in terms of competitors, even if the prize was worth all of nothing to Jin. It was a shame to trample over weaker or needier people for his own amusement though.. What would his mother of thought of fighting for something he didn't even want to win?
Kyo's fist sinks into his face with REAL jarring force this time, grinding cartilage against bone as nose the blow feels like it turns his face inside out.
Stepping back he raises a hand to his face, the feathery fringe of black hair not barrier enough to hide the thin trails of red blood welling down the sides of his face in thickening lines even as he draws the gloved hand away to glance at the dark spreading stain in on the palm of his glove. Bleeding huh?
The split in the bridge of his nose is dramatic and bloody but causes little reaction other than the observation he was in fact bleeding, the tension in adn around the area rises despite his voice remaining steady, Jin offers a compliment on the blow.
"Ahh- Good hit."
He draws one arm back and steps towards Kyo with a rapid three hits, alternating punches with a fast Rat-tat-BANG!

Kyo remains steadfast in the face of Jin's assault; maintaining the facade of a boxer, Kyo takes those three punches on his forearms--which are definitely feeling the effects of the attacks Jin is sending his way. Better his toughened forearms than softer meat to take those punches, though--undoubtedly. Kyo has to resist the urge to shake his forearms out after taking those punches--wouldn't be manly, or it'd show weakness. Something like that.
Jin is giving his best, and so Kyo is compelled to do the same--but he needs some room to do that, so he finds himself backing up again, taking a quick two hops back, getting maybe ten yards of separation between Jin and himself.
Those ten yards are quickly made up, though, as Kyo, upon touchdown from his second back hop, immediately reverses his momentum and charges forward. His goal?
To close in with Jin and use a left elbow to open his guard--and from there, he'd snap his right hand out, picking Jin up by the throat, letting him dangle for a moment in a chokehold before literally blowing him away with the deep boom of more of that flaming power.

Completely without fear Jin actually races to meet Kyo's rush headlong with his own step in and swinging to reach the out toward the flame slinger. Unlike Kyo his form hasn't changed or adapted any. The rap inside his guard is something of a surprise, that was a little unexpected finesse - not that the clamping seizure of his throat that lifts him into the air is lacking in raw power, both his hands rising to his throat he seizes hold of Kyos arm with his own, While being lifted he stares back down, unblinking with locked making eye contact with Kyo throughout the move. The flare of flame envelops him and trails after his body with flame and smoke as he sails away backwards like a searing contrail. Launched through an upward arm he falls to the ground heavily and bounces, rolling to a crouch soon enough he never even spends any time on his back aside from that initial impact.
Wisps of smoke, much like the heat clings to Jin' skin as he remains sitting on his knee and haunches, one arm folded across the back of the upraised knee for a little support, unwavering he lifts his arm to set his hand down atop it and climbs back to his feet without even trembling, displaying no weakness. These Mishima are carved out of iron, even hurt as he must be he doesn't allow it to show no matter the physical toll.
Kyo's confidence is growing by leaps and bounds--on the verge of, if not already well into, the realm of arrogance. And so... Kyo just stands there, for a moment, his gaze leveled at Jin. The expression on his face says 'c'mon, Kazama. Come /get/ me.' That expression is a smirk, the kind that infuriates, and one that many opponents have seen on Kyo's face. Deliberately he settles his stance, dropping into a modified horse stance, half-leaning over.
And power surges around him, flowing up around his feet in an orange nimbus of fire, as if the young Kusanagi were standing in a campfire, though the flames do not lick at his clothing--though they wouldn't be affected by it anyways...
The burning pillar of flame reaches waist high at its peak, but Kyo is still clearly visible within it, his posture daring Jin to come after him.

Kyo 1/----===/=======|>>>>>>>\-------\0 Jin
Jin is most surprised with himself just how quickly he seems to be reaching his limits, calmly analysing the fight thus far he doesn't know if Kyo is stronger, luckier or more experienced. He'd fought and defeated a variety of people and styles to reach this point in the tournament hadn't he? He probably found something worthwhile in fighting all of these various people and styles.
It occurs to him that he knows very little about his opponent, except for what they've learned since they crossed fists, But That doesn't really matter. As the arrogance in Kyo rises, a similar level of disinterest begins to grow in Jin Kazama. It was a fun enough diversion to be fighting like children over worthless prizes, but it was accomplishing nothing.
When Jin starts walking towards Kyo he shows no fear of the flames, if such a thing could deter him then he would never advance and progress.. break down the walls between the exceptional martial artists and the monsters who dominated that world.
As if in defiance of the flame and their heat he kicks out at Kyo's thigh with a kick to the outside of the thigh, into a spinning back fist, a straight jab as the momentum arrests and then a spinning back kick as Jin changes direction.
Kyo Kusanagi, this was another a young man with exceptional power, who should have been a worthy opponent who he felt a passion to fight, it came close.. so very close. But it wasn't enough, he had his reasons for fighting and they were ingrained and carved into his soul.
He would have Revenge, not fun.

Confidence turns to arrogance turns to cockiness--and that costs Kyo. He had a plan in mind. A sequence of events that played out in his head to ensure a crushing defeat for Jin Kazama. He didn't care what Jin was coming in for--he'd defeat him with a single blow, an overpowering, crushing punch. It would be dramatic, cinematic--
--but it won't happen, because Kyo overestimated the damage he's done. Jin's kick reaches farther and faster than Kyo expected, and that kick throws Kyo off-axis and lunging forward, into the backfist--that sends him reeling back, the jab helping, into perfect range for that spinning back kick.
The last hit chops Kyo down like a tree, and he falls backwards, landing hard on his back. For a moment he lies there, then he flips back up to his feet. His face is bruised, the damage visible, but if anything he's grinning even wider now.
Jin no longer recognized there as being anything fun to experience here so the reaction seems foreign, odd. Enough to make him curious but not enough to stop his fists from flying at this location! The fight wasn't done yet and the crowds were still pumping arms obverhead, were they cheering for one of them or just baying for the blood of someone to be spilled here for their amusement? The path out of here was right through the young man smiling at him, or by falling himself.
Rushing down at Kyo he hikes one leg into the air and brings it down at a slight angle, aiming into the gap between shoulder and neck at the vulnerable collar bone with a crescent kick.
But, Why? Why was he smiling? He'd been winning handily up until now, but he only smiled like that after he'd taken a hefty strike. The more he fought, the less he felt he knew about what was going on here. Was he just overthinking things, a faint narrowing of his eyes with his disbelieving that this was the correct oppurtunity to be genuinely smiling and having fun.

Kyo's guard is nearly crushed by that incredible kick; his forearm pushed from out at his shoulder, where he initially blocked the kick, up against his face. Only a quick lean keeps the kick from breaking his guard. Getting into a slugging match? Entirely possible, though perhaps not entirely advised--Jin is probably physically stronger than Kyo is, and Kyo's no slouch. But strength isn't everything.
With renewed vigor, Kyo decides to fight it out. He might not be as physically powerful as Jin, but he's got some advantages--and he's a fighter. He isn't scared of anything or anyone.
All that flashes through his mind in a matter of seconds--less--and his body is acting almost as soon as he's made the decision, before he even really considers what, exactly, he should do. The decision made, he acts reflexively on it--taking a half-step in and hammering a fist for the inside of Jin's kicking leg, just above the knee. A crippling punch, but only temporarily--if it hits.

Twisting his lower body while keeping his torso centred Jin throws his arm out like he was punching at Kyo, arm covered in the hard protective back guard into the path of the punch. He's protecting his leg and yet not withdrawing it. The side of his fist impacted against Kyo's own he has to strain to hold the countering blow back, a test of strengths he's willing to take on. But his foot remains braced against Kyo's still raised guard, Pressure that's still forcing down against it if not so much while struggling with the arm wrestling going on.
Jin maintains eye contact and offers a slight affirmative nod while the two of them seem locked in this mutually agreed up struggle of fortitude and strength. But everything must come to an end. The weight applied to Kyo's guard by his leg redoubles as Jin pulls and spins his entire bodyweight off the ground and into a fast revolution that appears to be a chest height scissor-motion, a scissor with one leg already position and the other coming heel first toward Kyos upper chest.
Jin's bodyweight draws him down; That defending fist flying open mid-momentum to try grabbing Kyos arm, intending to drop the pair of them to the ground with bone grinding takedown: transitioning into well practiced and painful arm-bar.

The end of this fight is coming closer and closer. And from a position of overwhelming advantage Kyo and Jin are now neck and neck. Jin might even be slightly ahead. It's hard to tell. But they're both hurting--in this moment, Kyo more so. His attempt to defense Jin's attack fails and he finds himself brought down, arm-barred, his body stretched painfully. It takes him a precious moment to twist out, and when he rises, the arm that got stretched is hanging a a little wrongly--and he's favoring it.
With his arm disabled for the moment, Kyo has little recourse but to use his legs--and use his legs he does. Kyo takes a skipping half-step back, just taking some distance--and then he lunges, crouching low, then coming up out of his lunge straight into a snapping front kick with his right leg, following up with a kick from the left in quick succession. Jin too climbs back to his feet in a hurry, he hadn't held back in the slightest and there's no telling how much damage he it had inflicted. The way Kyo twists out and rolls off encourages him to get to his feet quickly, he didn't look done with this fight and he still had the power and the willpower to keep going. Jin stoically raises his guard and offers no quarter or openings, if Kusangi Kyo were willing to give up already he might have already done so.
Rather than hold his ground jin gives a little with each kick, A step back with and snapping up with his guard he raps his arm against the blow and guides is body away from the intended path, to onlookers it almost looks like a boxers wavering form as he weaves right and then left between the kicks in a manner just barely timed to avoid them. In truth he had needed to use his arm levered against the blows to even accomplish the move that fast.
Recoiling had helped avoid taking the attack but if anything it's a grudging givenand mildly irritating accomplishment to make him give that ground up himself. Jin steps forward and throws out an arm to grab at the top of Kyo's head, it's a classic a move on the part of a practitioner of Mishima style karate. Grabbing the top of their opponents head and then smashing their face with your own hard head.
A tradition of a style famed for brutal and intimidating techniques that were as dangerous to user as those enduring their attacks. Without the protective guard? Jin might very well break and shatter his own bones.

It's a subtle moment--but it's the moment when Kyo loses the fight. He's taken off balance--mentally, if not physically--by Jin's avoidance of his kicks, and in that moment, the balance shifts. Realizing Jin's coming, Kyo does his best to try and counterattack--but he's out of position, and aching, and that makes him just a touch slow.
The impact is pretty tremendous, and in the aftermath, Kyo reels back, blood flying from his nose as he topples. There's no final words, no final effort--Kyo's out. As he lands, the Atelier folks declare Jin the winner, and, in the same moment, others rush in to prep Kyo for medical attention.
Possibly, when he wakes up--and cools down from having lost--he'll want to talk to Jin. They might even end up being friends. Friends, or pretty bitter rivals. Hard to say. But the Kusanagi clan doesn't have any beef with the Mishimas... yet.
Jin lowers the hand he grabbed Kyos head with to his side, the still tensed hand drops open and relaxed only once the outcome of the fight seems decided, his opponent unmoving. Standing tall at his full height and looking down at Kyo he lets out a relieved sigh, folding his arms in a deliberate or possibly callous motion he exhibits no exhilaration or pride in his accomplishment here today.
Some people might view it as acting cool, but in reality he was just thoughtfully turning over the events of the fight in his mind and waiting for the all clear, the declaration of the victor and who would advance in this now sham of a tournament.
"Forgive me."
The gruffly delivered line is still sincere, he had no desire to step in the way of Kyo's progress in this tournament, these words fall on deaf ears with no-one close enough for them to hear; Atelier personnel just now making their way to treat or transport Kyo as necessary. If nothing else he should at least accept the burden of carrying the resolve of a fellow young man to this tournaments conclusion. He might as well carry that burden since he had no reasons of his own to push further and harder, nothing but a faint hope there were some strong guys left.
A pair of similarly dressed men walk out of the crowd to congratulate him on his win with formal business like bows which Jin chooses not to acknowledge. They were lackeys of the Zaibatsu or one of its subsidiaries no doubt. Nothing to concern them as he glances their way only to demand something of them, a model rich kid in the midst of Gedo street still.
"cGive me a shirt."
The pair exchange looks at one another and one begins quickly struggling out of this suit jacket, the other passing him a handkerchief to staunch the blood and wipe it from his face. Just minutes later the Mishima heir is walking away in an overlarge unbuttoned white shirt it sweeping behind him; leaving the scene of the fight behind but carrying part of it with him still.
He's not a popular one with the crowd, he was pretty enough and had a nice physique but he was obviously just another entitled rich kid slumming it down here!
Yeah, he better get lost!!
