Very little is known about Sergei Dragunov. He cuts a very imposing appearance with his pale skin and fearsome demeanor. Highly-trained as Spetsnaz, Sergei's overwhelming ability on the field has earned him the nickname "The White Angel of Death". Vicious, efficient, and cold, few can bear to look at him, much less command him. An obedient member of the Russian special forces, he is currently under orders to investigate the rare and mysterious people that suffer from afflictions of vile, murderous power such as Satsui no Hadou. Both Kazuya Mishima and Akuma are on his list of targets and nothing short of death will stop him.

Upon his arrival, the village is deserted. It does not take long before it's clear that Sergei has stumbled upon a trap. Cut off from contacting any reinforcements by a jammer, he encounters a force of Shadaloo operatives led by the insidious Doll, Marz. Can Sergei escape with his life from the village? There, Lee Chaolan keeps the grand prize of the King Of Fighters tournament under lock and key, to keep it from Heihachi, the UN, from everyone but the rightful winners. But the UN doesn't play by the rules. Sergei and Potemkin, special agents on behalf of the UN, infiltrate the city to finally capture the technology, and secure it to its rightful owners.
