"Shrike. AKA Butcherbird. A songbird with a strong sharply hooked bill, often impaling its prey of small birds, lizards, and insects on thorns. Fitting."

The fighting 'machine' known as Shr1ke is not what it appears. Standing at six feet tall, bristling with a staggering array of sharp implements with which to assault its opponents, and wrapped in metal, most assume that this monstrous artificial Grendel is a creature out of nightmare. In fact, Shr1ke is a young woman displaced in time; one of NESTs early attempts at 'augmenting' fighters, and the only nightmare involved is her own. She recently made an explosive entrance onto the world fighting stage, entering numerous fighting competitions in rapid succession. Whilst she lost all of these, the intense, high-octane style of combat she uses; combining her myriad blades and ridiculously fast movement and an aesthetic that can only be described as blender on legs earned her a small but dedicated following. The question is, now that she's loose on the world, what is Shr1ke's goal? And who, if anyone, does she serve?
