Born from recombinant DNA that used K''s lost sister Seirah as a main template, "Whip" was created as a NESTS side project to test both their cloning and genetic-modification technology. Displaying obvious and unnatural enhancements in strength and agility, she escaped project termination and was brought up as a Cartel assassin. Working under the code names "Sally" and "Sarah", she has served the organization faithfully alongside her strange and dysfunctional 'family', forming a strong bond in particular with the mercenary Angel. Recently, she has been deployed to infiltrate and spy on an enemy mercenary group - the Ikari Warriors. Though events have conspired to bring her back into the NESTS fold, she has formed a swift attachment to her newfound nomenclature and now finds herself torn between two missions, and two worlds. Unaware that she is actually a clone, Whip thinks of herself as an unfortunate amnesiac who is missing all facets of a real life, such as a family, a name, and even her own memories. What she does remember she guards possessively, cherishing the anonymity that her shadowy allegiance and questionable codename bring her. Despite the complicated life she leads, filled with secrets and lies and fierce military decorum, Whip is a hopeful and determined young woman with a surprisingly good heart...
