"Avast matey! You're getting boarded!"

Abandoned at a very early age, the young girl known as May bounced from orphanage to orphanage until she was eventually on her own. Wandering the coasts and pretty much fending for herself, the girl developed quite the reputation for her deceptively massive strength for such a small stature and her uncanny ability to use a giant anchor as a weapon, even one handed. Finding that she could fend off most bullies with relative ease, May became enamored with the concept of being a pirate that sailed the seas righting goods and protecting the weak; to the point where she'll constantly wear a captain hat with the Jolly Roger symbol and speak in pirate lingo. Although untrained, infantile in her aspirations, and possibly uneducated, May has big dreams of one day forming a powerful pirate crew to ensure that no one will ever have to go through the loneliness that she did and travel the world as pirates are meant to be. Free.

School Life - Avast! Could it be that the feared Captain May, terror of the seas, has now turned to a life of civilized land lubbery for good?? Prowling the stores that once spurned her as nothing but a scoundrel, and rightfully so, May runs into Yurika who takes pity on the poor pirate and splits some of her plunder. A pirate's reward goes to her! Though the Seijyun High student seemed dubious of May's methods of acquiring anything of value, in the end, Yurika kept her booty intact! Good for her! Yummy fishies leave no time for dessert :( - Dear Diary, it appears that on this world my kind are known as 'mermaids' and are related to a breed of ocean-dwelling predator that is, sadly, vastly inferior in combat.
