"Now I have but one goal: to slay the sorcerer who blinded me."

An aging blind wanderer with an easy manner, it is difficult to imagine Kenshi Takahashi as the arrogant warrior of his youth. Humbled by the loss of his sight to the sorcerer Shang Tsung, the itinerant swordsman now roams the earth, seeking to protect others from the evils of man. Though Kenshi tends to project an air of relaxed amiability, deep within his soul festers a dark wound of vengeful anger at what was done to him. He does not let this rule him, however, instead choosing to channel his inner darkness into a fierce desire to write the injustices of the world. But some day, he will finally find the sorcerer who blinded him, and consumed the souls of his ancestors. On that day, with his ancestral blade Sento in hand, and the power of his will made manifest; he will finally balance the scales, and end the life of Shang Tsung.
