It's a pleasant sight, being up here. The clean air, the fresh snow, the sounds of the animals all around. The wind through ones hair....
Munin sits at the edge of cliff, looking down, seemingly heedless of her safety. They said wait for an opponent, so she came, and has waited. Despite this fact, she makes a note to remember where this place is. It's very peaceful.
She smiles to herself as night begins to fall, staring off into the sunset.....

It's a pleasant sight, and Shun doesn't really care. It's COLD up here, and the only way to counter that kind of thing is by physical activity. She had plenty physical activity planned, but it doesn't leave much room for observing the surroundings beyond the immediate. Which is why Shun doesn't really wait to get started.
She clears her throat when she approaches Munin, and if Munin looks over she'll make sure the other girl gets the chanceto prepare herself to fight. Once all that is done with, she makes a small bow. "May the best fighter, that is me, win." She offers with a cheeky grin. She immediately steps into a warrior's stance, similar to that of the man who taught her, Ken Masters.
She doesn't wait too long to initiate her attack, moving sideways around Munin and gathering blue-white chi in her hands. She pulls her hands back briefly and when she throws the energy she speaks the attacks name.
"GIJI HADOUKEN!"

Munin blinks, looking back at her opponent, her violet eyes glowing softly in the dim light. Eyes that then narrow in slight annoyance. Yes, she is here for a match, but even then, it's annoying being disturbed when a relaxing place has been found. She stands, and flicks out her shortswords with flicks of her wrists, the glow of her eyes becoming slightly brighter as she ignores the comment "Time will tell.....".
Unfortunately, Munins still slightly in relax-mode as the attack is launched suddenly. She moves to dodge a bit too late, and is struck full on, blinking from the shock of the impact. That HURT! A lot! Frowning, she throws a projectile of her own, swinging one of her chi-whisping weapons and sending an arc of shadowy energy at Shun!

Shun didn't expact Munin to react so swiftly, so when she tries to move out of the way, it doesn't go as quickly as it should, causing the young warrior to be caught by the blast of chi. She is blown back slightly, inhibiting her ability to get back to Munin quickly to strike a close combat attack. Briefly considering what to do, she eventually settled on a course of action.
Study your opponent, and they will reveal their weaknesses. Study the environment, and it will reveal its openings. In line with those thoughts, she went to study the surroundings and prepare herself for the next strike, but in her careful focus, she did not have the time to really make an attack at Munin as well...
...or is that all just part of the plan?

It is this hesitation that Munin capitalizes on! Without a word, she zips sideways, coming in from the left.
Then something strange happens....
She suddenly bolts right, seeming to split off from herself! Both images close in, one striking mere seconds behind the other, seemingly from both sides at once, jabbing with both weapons simultaniously! One is a chi illusion, that vanishes if struck or left alone, and does nothing if it strikes. The other is really her, with two very sharp weapons!

Weapons are not Shun's forte, she doesn't have a really large amount of practice dealing with them, and so she makes a judgment error. She rushes in towards the blades, ready to accept some of the blows as she moves into an uppercut, but even as Chi starts to lick around her hand, she doesn't have the opportunity to strike, nor even to call out the attack's name.
She's hit by the blades in full force, and this results in an effect we can best describe as some serious pain. Bleeding due to the wounds, her white clothes are starting to colour a nice crimson. Really unfortunate, you know how much it costs to get blood out of clothes?
Too much.
Following through with the momentum, Munin spins, stepping past Shun. As the illusion vanishes, she throws an elbow up at Shuns throat as she takes note of the injuries, and potential difficulties that may occur when and if her opponent follows up upon recovery.
She can tell this one could be more trouble than she has yet appeared, and is taking no chances, particularly after seeing someone use what seemed to be a varient of hadouken. If she knows MORE of those techniques.... this could turn out really bad for Munin if they land!

This is not going around well for Shun, she's hit hard to her throat and stumbles back. Still, she's not one to give up this easily, and there's still plenty of fight left in her. As she stabilizes, she looks at Munin before rushing forwards to make her next attack.
With a quick movement, she seems to be trying for a Shoryuken, or similar uppercut, but instead her fist opens to attempt to grab Munin by the chin. If Shun manages to get that hold on Minin's chin, she'll make a backflip, pulling Munin with her to throw her down and land near her. It's a risky maneuver, but one that Shun is apparently willing to try...
...let's hope it won't backfire.

It's a very good thing Munin was watching carefully, cause it's barely enough to give her the warning she needs!
As Shun comes up to grab, she ducks, leaving a chi-illusion that still appears to be standing. As Shun grabs the illusion, which promptly vanishes, she slips past, swinging her weapons once each, shadowy chi trailing behind!
After slipping past, she turns back around to look at Shun, eyes small violet pinpricks of light in the quickly-approaching nightfall!
Shun is bleeding more, her outfit getting more holes and crimson spots. At this rate it might be cheaper to buy a new gi with skirt rather than trying to repair and clean it. As the girl recovers from this barrage of strikes, she is looking to be quite a bit worse for the wear compared to the girl she's fighting. Weapons are so unfair.
Copying something she's said recently, Shun speaks three words. "I am Lethal." It might be to reassure herself that she doesn't need weapons to win fights, or something to that effect. Either way, she moves towards Munin once again, jumping up and snapping out with one leg, aiming for Munin's head.

The kick is fast, too fast to dodge. Munin quickly brings up her weapons in a cross block, stopping the foot before it stikes her head! Having robbed the strike of it's power, she relaxes the guard, and tries to close her arms around the foot, and fling Shun out of the air and down to the ground at her feet.

Being grabbed like that is close to unavoidable at this point, and so Shun is thrown to the ground. She does rise again, and rushes back to Munin to close the distance. She doesn't let this state of affairs hinder her too much, preferring to attempt to gain some momentum to use in this fight.
This time, it's a combination. First an Axe Kick aimed low, trying to destabilize more than hurt, before Shun adds a headbutt into the mix. These tactics may be unorthodox, but hopefully the unorthodox nature of the attacks makes her more likely to pull this off.

So far the analysis of Shuns combat style is pretty accurate. Munin hops back as Shun stands and attacks, an illusory chi image left in her place, then leaps high, flipping over Shuns head as the attacks are thrown beneath, causing the image to vanish as it's struck!
As she goes past overhead, she swings both her weapons down like a large pair of scissors, aiming at either side of the poor girls head!

This time. This time Shun managed to accurately predict what was coming. She moves forward, jumping up to attack Munin even as she is being struck in the shoulders by those blades. Balling her fist as it starts to glow with a small amount of burning Chi, the girl has only announce her attack's name for everyone to be clear what is going on here.
"GIJI SHORYOUKEN!"
The strike is made with enoug accuracy to bring on the pain, even as Shun prevents most of the damage that Munin intended to inflict, reducing the strikes of blades to mere scratches. As she lands again, she turns to look at Munin, trying to estimate her opponent's next move.
Ouch! THAT hurt a ton! Munin is struck in midair, and spirals off to the side, landing with a light crunch on the ground, despite rolling with the impact as best she's able.
She pulls herself up, and with a sudden turn towards Shun, splits again! Suddenly there are a half-dozen of her, all doing various attacks! One attacks low, one attacks high, two more come in from the sides, one throws a projectile, and the last one appears to transform inhumanly and send lances of chi at her!
Which is which!?!?!

The real strike is a throw from the side!
Unsure what the hell is going on, Shun just takes the attack in the hopes that whatever is going on, she will be able to react to it instantly, and this, at least, is going properly. With Munin so nearby, the Ansatsuken student wastes no time in doing what she wants to do here, gathering her Chi into a big blue-white ball of energy that...
"HAAAAAA-"
"DOOOUUU-"
"KEEEEN!"
... is attempted to be thrown into Munin's face like Shun's life depended on the success of this attack. Running on fumes, Shun tries to gather enough willpower to account for the fact that her body wants to tell her to fall down, but she doesn't want to yet.
Not before she has won this fight...!

The illusions, while a strain to use so many at once, seems to work..... until Munin hears Shun begin to charge her attack! She's seen the effects of this before, and knows if strikes her, there's no way it won't finish her off with her current injuries. With the momentum from her attack, and the throw, she has no time to dodge, and blocking will do little against such power.....
Drawing upon her own abundance of Chi, Munins body is suddenly enveloped in blackness, making her almost invisible in the low light, aside from her brightly glowing eyes, and the bright glowing violet light emitted from her mouth, silhouetting her teeth and making them appear much sharper than they are! She SCREAMS like a banshee as spear-tipped tendrils of the shadowy stuff sear through the air off her body like dark tenticles, skewering the hadouken before it reaches her!
Feeling completely spent, Munins chi fades back into her body, and she slumps a bit, commenting "That... was burtal...." as she eyes the incapacitated Shun.
Meanwhile, the medical teams standing by move in to patch them both up!
