Many young women across the world are "fangirls" of famous fighters, but Sakura Kasugano is not the type to be content merely writing fan fiction or debating on message boards. Notorious amongst her peers and teachers for the headstrong, reckless way she tackles any challenge, Sakura decided that her destiny was to become a great fighter -- by learning from her favorite, the wandering master Ryu. If it weren't for her parents' insistence on completing her education, it's likely that her restless spirit would carry her along the same path as her idol. Still in high school, Sakura balances the life of a famous fighter and an ordinary teen with effortless skill: everything just seems to come to her naturally. Her detractors call this blind luck, though, and insist that one day it will run out, but for now...
