First and only son of the Great Bear of Siberia Ivan Borisyuk, Nikolai Borisyuk is the latest in a long line of Slavic Mystics and Wise Men. Trained from a young age in the family art of communing with and binding supernatural beings, he is already noted to be an emerging talent within the semi-secret magical communities scattered across the globe. Unfortunately, beyond the realm of the mystical he is merely an average student with a penchant for getting into mischief. With his father's work forcing them to move from place to place, often staying in foreign countries for months at a time, he has rarely had time to form deep relationships with teens his own age. This, when combined with his heavy accent and the tribal fetishes he tends to wear over his clothes, has gotten him labeled as the Weird Kid or Outsider too many times to count. However, where human companions might have failed him, the spirits of not. Wherever he goes he carries with him a host of beings bound within blessed items, the first of which is the guardian wolf spirit that is his near constant companion. Whether in the heat of combat or the drudge of class, it is hard to be bothered when you share your soul with a friend.
