Hailing from the ancient and legendary Aensland family whose roots are tied deep in the occult and the souls of the leylines, the beautiful Morrigan is a succubus, a witch who derives her strength from seduction, stimulation and sin. Somewhat similar to a vampire's affliction, she derives her life force by stealing the dreams and energy from those who interest her, falling prey to her otherworldly charm. Unbeknownst to many, Morrigan has the strongest soul of any supernatural, attuned directly to the leylines. Having a soul strong enough to change the course of history, Morrigan's father Belial Aensland had no choice but to split it into three fragments to protect her, drastically reducing her strength. Even having only regained two thirds of her soul, she is still one of the most powerful creatures alive. That said, the elder nobility of her family are constantly vexed by her, as for all of her potential she seems to have no interest at all in living up to her role as heiress to the Aensland house. Elegant and cavalier, she is never in her place, constantly shirking her responsibility to explore the world of the light. She is insatiable, always looking for new experiences and battles to abate her ever-growing boredom with the dictates of her family and the dark, lifeless world that they inhabit.
