Match of the Millennium

Raiden is a former pro wrestler. The league he was in is sponsored by the Syndicate's more legitimate side, though beyond this the Syndicate usually puts forth little of its potential influence in this area. Raiden was involved in an accident in the ring, which left his opponent permanently and truly crippled; A bit too savage for wrestling matches, even if they are real fights nowadays. Facing the end of his career and possible legal troubles, Raiden was surprised when the league's biggest sponsor intervened and got most of the problems and "scandal" to go away. He was equally surprised to learn that the Syndicate wanted to hire him as an Enforcer for when muscle was needed. With few other places to turn, Raiden agreed and has served faithfully ever since. He still does occasional travelling wrestling tours as a hobby, and only a few diehard followers of the sport still remember the accident he caused. The majority of his work is roughing up troublemakers both within and outside of the Syndicate. He is essentially an "Elite Thug", with only modest influence in the group.
