Takuma
"You should talk less. It'd do you a lot of good."
The old master of Kyokugen-ryuu Karate, Takuma Sakazaki is still a talented fighter in his own right. Though his age is slowly starting to catch up with him, he fights with a noticeable amount of strength and skill. He cares deeply for his two children, Yuri and Ryo, and will go to great lengths on their behalf. He subscribes to many of the basic concepts of honor in the martial arts, compromised only by one notable but well-hidden incident of blackmail. Several years ago, Yuri was kidnapped by Geese's syndicate, and Takuma was forced to serve the syndicate as an enforcer or else Yuri's life would be forfeit. Takuma complied, though he donned a Tengu mask and took on the alias of "Mr. Karate" during this, leaving many people clueless as to who Mr. Karate actually was and why he just suddenly vanished one day. While his own wife is dead, Takuma has high hopes that Ryo and King's romantic interests in one another will come to completion and extend the family legacy in that way. Ryo and Yuri sometimes wonder if Takuma is "all there" mentally, as he still has his Mr. Karate mask, and occasionally wears it while lecturing them and Robert in private.
