The leader of the Ten Sages who hold the secrets to utilizing sorcery, Relius considers himself a scientist and researcher first and foremost. Always looking for ways to advance magic in all its forms, his specialty is enchanted machinery and creating artificial bodies, but is a thoroughly trained and competent magician as well. Unlike many peers, he takes a direct hand in acquiring specimens and data. He utilizes a series of concealed mechanical limbs and cyborg enhancements alongside a large battle puppet named Ignis that he can flawlessly operate, giving him surprising combat potential. But the magical link to control Ignis causes a portion of her damage taken to transfer to him, if at a reduced percentage. Although a colonel in NOL's Engineering Department and one of the only individuals alive comparable to Kokonoe in science and knowledge, many suspect him of illegal experimentation and unholy methods of advancing knowledge at any cause...
