An attendee of Taiyo High, Namie Yamada is a cheerful girl known for her inquisitive nature. This helps her when doing work for the Yearbook club, though the opposite is true as well as she often uses it as an excuse to involve herself in the lives of her fellow students. Some find her friendly and endearing while others find her nosy and annoying, but all agree: Namie has a serious love for gossip when it comes straight from the horse's mouth, and has earned a reputation for keeping secrets. When not pestering classmates Namie can often be found fighting for sport and fun, employing an aggressive kick based style of Kung Fu centered around quick movements and getting in her opponents face. Though self taught with no formal training she shows promise, fighting with all the zeal one might expect from a student of Taiyo.
