"You must challenge your limits." These were the last words given to him by his late father. Kairi was born into the main house of the Mizugami family. Trained in the family's ancient art of hand-to-hand combat, he was destined to lead the family. However, on a stormy night, Kairi was thrown into the sea from the ship in which he was traveling by Hokuto and lost his memories. Waking up at the base of a sea-side cliff, his memories were distorted and lost, with only one memory solidly in place: his father's last words. With the rest of his memories lost, Kairi now wanders the world, fighting for the hopes that he will regain his memories. A master of the family arts of Mizugami-ryu Kobujutsu, his technique has been corrupted by a killing instinct in his zeal towards regaining his memories. His reckless abandon in hand to hand combat has compared him to a demon. For Kairi, the journey for his memories have been consumed by the driving ugre: To challenge his own limits.
