"Struggle! Those who can't win have one option: death."
Known as the "Martyr of Might" or "Demon of Might" in some circles, Grant is by all definitions a powerful man. His face is hidden behind a red mask, but what he seeks in life is clear. Grant and Kain both want to remove the weak, complacent masses from society to improve humanity in general. To this end, Grant helps his friend in any way he can. Where Kain values vision over sheer power, Grant provides contrast by caring more about an individual's fighting talent, though he does graciously 'bow down' to Kain's criteria in finding recruits to their cause. A brutal fighter, Grant has little tolerance for the hopelessly weak, and even less for those who hold life so dear as to degrade themselves by begging to be spared when placed in a dire situation. Despite all this, Grant can be very polite when he needs to be, and is also very good in spotting notable qualities about a person. His karate style is unique in that it often involves powerful leaping techniques as well as more conventional attacks. Unknown to all but a few, Grant suffers from a disease that is slowly killing him. It will be several years yet before it ends his life, but it is nonetheless present.

Recent LogsBlack Dragon TDH - Control the Narrative - Word has reached the NOL. The Southtown Syndicate is mired amongst the Darkstalker trade, and Duke is behind it all! Underground Survival - With the exception of that ill-fated challenge for Nightwolf's Belt and the Majigen Series won under the most questionable of circumstances (his opponent throwing the fight after he was unconscious), Aranha has mostly stuck to being a big fish in the small pond of Underground Fighting. When the Martyr of Might comes along, he proceeds to show him that even in a small pond, there is still a chance to encounter an even bigger fish. Does the Dancing Spider have what it takes to survive? - Log created on 20:39:04 08/30/2016 by Aranha, and last modified on 22:19:38 08/31/2016. Cast: Grant and Aranha.
The Gathering Darkness - Darkness is merely an absence of illumination. Maybe it is the illumination instead that is the out-of-place element. Whatever side of interpretation one may take, 'darkness' remains a popular catch-all term for the worst that can be seen among those who hone themselves as martial artists. Some struggle against it. Some yet embrace it. Others yet disregard all constraints of good or evil for the sake of simply seeing where the path goes... or where others may yet rest along the champion's road. A man, facing down the stare of approaching oblivion, finds themselves drawn to a growing, swirling nexus of nature's fury where one stands at the center... not as the cause, nor as shelter. One seeks, one abstains... but both, in one form or another, act under the encroaching blackness of the skies above. - Log created on 18:13:45 08/27/2016 by Ryu, and last modified on 12:15:01 08/29/2016. Cast: Grant and Ryu.
