A solemn and humorless fighter, Gato had the unpleasant privilege of being the favored of the Futaba offspring. He was relentlessly hammered into a ball of martial arts, sculpted like clay into a brutal, uncaring individual by the enigmatic patriarch of the clan, before both of them vanished following the suspicious death of his mother. Gato prides personal strength, conviction, and independence. A true fighter must walk the path alone to find ultimate strength. Friendship and camaraderie are distractions at best, and shackles at worse. This has lead to his cruel and callous personality in his years traveling the world alone. Having reached the limitations of training alone, he now seeks to enter the world fighting circuits to break through the barrier to the next level of martial transcendence, uncaring if his blunt judgmental nature chaffs anyone. Yet ultimately, he is after cold, harsh vengeance against his father for his sins, and will stop at absolutely nothing in this pursuit, even if it costs him his very life and soul.
