SNF 2012.01

SNF: "To Punch A Hurricane" - Shenwoo had an interesting New Year's Eve in his last SNF match. What with El Fuerte and MURDERHOUSE Mick setting him on fire, beating him over the head with chairs and frying pans before tossing him out of the wrestling ring on a crumbled heap. This time though, the speedy Mexican wrestler is set up against the mad Chinese boxer without Mick acting as the party tank. With only DPS on his side, El Fuerte finds out that he's outclassed on a one on one match even if he has the home advantage. (Winner: Shenwoo) - created on 16:45:25 01/07/2012 by ElFuerte and last modified on 09:23:26 01/09/2012. Cast: Shenwoo and ElFuerte.

SNF: "Who's The Baddest Of Them All?" - The legendary heavy hitter Kain R. Heinlein faces a two versus one match against Juri Han and Johnny Jones Damon. Against all odds, the two fighters seem to overcome Kain; leaving the Tae Kwan Do girl and the Jeet Kune Do practitioner to turn against one another. And that... is when crap really hits the proverbial fan. (Winner: MrJones, except not really!) - created on 16:51:07 01/07/2012 by MrJones and last modified on 09:37:30 01/09/2012. Cast: Kain, Juri, and MrJones.

SNF: "What's Normal?" - A nice changeup from having to face the weapon-mad Jason cosplayer, this time the ex-shop teacher is up against...Ozzy? No, that's not right. Though Rust is getting his life in order, it won't be a smooth ride as the stuttering blue-collar has to face down the stoic clerical collar. A portion of this fight's proceeds will be donated to Elias' shelter and doubled if he wins. For the sake of fairness, if Rust wins, then he gets to take home the bonus pot. (WINNER: Elias) - created on 16:43:09 01/08/2012 by Rust and last modified on 09:09:01 01/10/2012. Cast: Rust and Elias.

SNF: "Snake Tamer" - Fighting Juri is generally considered to be bad for your health. But Hayato isn't one to be deterred by little things like the threat of grave person injury, so he takes up the SNF invitation to face off against Juri on the Kassandra Peninsula in Greece. He then proceeds to dole out some badly needed discipline, though Juri is quite vehement in her objections. (Winner: Hayato) - created on 16:10:08 01/14/2012 by Hayato and last modified on 21:11:09 01/23/2012. Cast: Hayato and Juri.

SNF: "Ring of Fire" - You know, literally, a ring of fire. A heavily-reinforced wrestling ring has been created just for this match, its tempered steel poles and nigh-untearable kevlar mat ready for the sort of pounding that they're sure to suffer tonight! As an added bonus, the ropes have got lines of gas running through them that will be set ablaze at the start of the match. (Winners: Shenwoo & El Fuerte) - created on 18:37:39 01/16/2012 by Kyo and last modified on 10:52:56 01/23/2012. Cast: Shenwoo, Kyo, and ElFuerte.

SNF: "Odd Man Out" - Even with the promise of free food and mayhem; Gan doesn't show up to his fight against Mr. Jones and Momoko. Thanks to tha' Jones' quick thinking however, he ensures to grab some random restaurant patron and reel them into their wild chaotic dance. Lessoned learned at end of the day; little girls hit really freaking hard! (Winner: Momoko) - created on 20:01:08 01/19/2012 by MrJones and last modified on 10:41:53 01/23/2012. Cast: Momoko, MrJones, and Munin.

SNF: "Crash Course" - A new face is on the ticket this week! Munin is fresh in the professional fighting circuit, so she's been put together with a veteran in the Saturday Night Fight program. Faolan's military training should do wonders for his temporary role as teacher; it's his job to teach her the ins and outs of the world that she's stepped into. Ah, but with the Hurricane of the Gulf running about like lightning, will the Ikari's instruction do the girl any good? (Winner: El Fuerte) - created on 11:13:17 01/21/2012 by Faolan and last modified on 11:22:38 01/23/2012. Cast: ElFuerte, Faolan, and Munin.

SNF: "Natural Enemies" - Both Johnny Jones and Angelo have made exceptional names for themselves, but on two very different sides of the coin. While the former brings the light down upon dastardly deeds, the latter...well, we can't pin anything on the latter, but he gives off this just sort of "villainous" vibe, doesn't he? Whether Angelo is innocent of wrongdoing or not, these two men have been pitted against one another in the heart of the old Syndicate's crime center. Not too long ago, the Harbor was alive with smugglers and such. Since Geese's demise, things have died down, but there is still plenty of evil here to find if one looks hard enough. (Winner: MrJones) - created on 11:16:40 01/21/2012 by Angelo and last modified on 11:43:17 01/23/2012. Cast: MrJones and Angelo.

SNF: "Shameless Rip-Off" - Does Good triumph over Evil?!? Let's ask the Kamen Riders and their nemesis, Mishima! In this fight, MayLee (Kamen Rider Gatack) and Shenwoo (Dark Kabuto) must face their nemesis, Mishima (as portrayed by Terry Bogard.) (WINNER: Terry) - created on 21:30:30 01/21/2012 by Terry and last modified on 12:10:43 01/23/2012. Cast: MayLee, Shenwoo, and Terry.

SNF: "When Worlds Collide" - Sagat, no matter what may be official, is the definitive God of Muay Thai. Shenwoo is the God of Battle. Obviously, we'll have to settle this in a properly monotheistic fashion: DEATH MATCH. Sorry, no lions this time around. The Double-Ses have been flown to one of the most inhospitable, terrible places in the world. There's no civilization for miles around, and nobody cares how hard the desert is punched and kicked. They can only make it look better, after all. (Winner: Sagat) - created on 20:58:22 01/29/2012 by Sagat and last modified on 09:05:37 01/31/2012. Cast: Shenwoo and Sagat.

SNF: "It Is Very Dark In Here" - Both Munin and Fuji are...unusual people. Very little is known about them, but they have a common thread: darkness. Rumors abound that the former manipulates it, and the latter is outright blind. (NOTE: The Masters Corporation is an equal-opportunity employer.) Of course, people start to wonder: who's stronger, the woman that weaponizes the shadows, or the one that lives in them? These two have been whisked away to a proper dojo, albeit one with its windows and entryways completely covered over to make the interior as dark as pitch. A single, weak, shorted-out light hangs overhead, giving -just- enough light to create shadows here. Both Munin and the cameras have been given infrared devices so they can actually see what's going on. - created on 21:55:05 01/29/2012 by Munin and last modified on 09:15:46 01/31/2012. Cast: Fuji and Munin.

SNF: "Fulminant Fisticuffs" - We have here three hard-hitting men ready to crack bone and bend steel in this special cage match! Have no fear, viewers; this specially-made cage of interlinked steel wires is there for the audience's protection. The blows flying tonight will be so fierce that flying bodies is a very real danger! So real, in fact, that a Completely Legitimate seismologist is on deck with a customized seismograph to measure the force behind each hit. Viewers at home will enjoy a real-time graph in the corner of their screen, comparing each fighter's strength to actual earthquakes...if not -exactly- accurate. But hey, would Completely Legitimate scientists lie? (Winner: Kim) - created on 18:43:10 01/30/2012 by Zach and last modified on 09:22:22 01/31/2012. Cast: Kim and Zach.
