Some of the people say this largely has to do with the investments and dealings of Geese Howard, an American businessman and martial arts enthusiast who was once police commissioner and now is the CEO of Howard Connection, his self-built public enterprise. Together with his physical acumen and mental skill, this makes him one of the richest and most powerful men on the globe. However, many with knowledge on the matter suggest that Geese Howard is nothing but a sham, and the kingpin of the Southtown Syndicate, one of the worst organizations to plague the world.
Many in the inner city are disillusioned with Geese's influence, and many have plans or designs to dethrone or even kill Geese in Southtown. Though few have managed to beat Geese in a one on one fight, rumors persist that Howard is always scouting for the top talent in Southtown, and it's only a matter of time before he seeks to take over the organized tournament sector...
