Jira - Bunker Hunters!

Description: Jira has another encounter with a NESTS product. Will she shop NESTS again?

It's late, not that it bothers K9999. He's driving some old black 1967 Mustang Fastback, all quick-rusted from the moisture in the air. There's dust kicking up in the air as he approaches the entrance of the city, and his elbow hangs out of the busted window with his foot on the gas so hard that he doesn't seem to give a crap if he hits anything.

Once he enters the city itself, streets full of as many bodies one would expect from a recently flooded disaster area, a combination of TK and the car's momentum plows right through debris.

Then he finally skids to a halt in the middle of a four way intersection, kicking his door open and stepping out. "This place fuckin' stinks." is his first thought, staring up at the now dystopian-looking buildings. "Where the hell is city hall?"

He did not bring a map.

Jira had brought a map. Be damned if she was to be lost in -America- of all countries. The state of Metro city didn't really phase her, she heard about it on the news and thought a quiet, dead area would be the perfect place to.. bond with her partner.
She was almost glowing with giddiness, a faint pink light clinging to her form as she steps through the streets. But her peace and quiet are interrupted by the echoes of someone pushing a ford gasoline engine to its peak. So much that she freezes and checks the street she's on warily- jumping at the skid's screeching stop and immediately sprinting off in that direction. Her boots thud heavily on the ground and bounce between buildings.

K9999 starts walking down the street in the direction Jira runs from. He doesn't look particularly phased by the state of the city either, other than constantly turning his nose up at the smells.

As he walks, he swings his hand at anything flammable he finds, trying to burn the bodies. But in a place so moist, the fire just barely spreads.

Then he notices Jira running toward him, eyes scanning her body briefly. Then when she gets closer, he just kind of stops. "It's the fuckin' apocalypse, guys should at least learn how to cut their hair! You wanna get it snatched out by barbarians?"

Jira's boots make heavy footfalls as she scans the area for the potential driver- and yellow is hard to miss when it's moving. She slides to a stop and takes a few heavy breaths. Adrenaline and running, she had to calm down.
Wait, did another person call her a guy? She's half happy her vest is doing its job, but upset she'll have to try an defend her gender without going through too many channels. Her voice is certainly feminine, and she flashes him a smile. "Good thing I'm not a guy~" she replies, keeping her tone polite and upbeat. "I'm Kasagi Jira. I heard your car just stop and came over to investigate. Is anything wrong?" she questions, maintaining her smile. The glow in her eyes flicker and shine like pools of liquid pink light.

K9999 peers into her shining eyes like some sort of ragged animal who'd dare stare up at a pristine angel. Then he pushes his cape back that seems to almost perpetually flow behind him by some unseen and uncontrolled force. "K-Four-Nine, that's K with four nines. If you call me K', I'll literally kill you."

He smiles with all the deadpan seriousness in his tone, then looks back at the car. "It's not my car, I stole it. I'm lookin' for government bomb shelters for these Nazis I met. I'll drag you with me if you're just gonna run around out here, you can help with the work and earn food. But if you screw up we'll eat you."

Jira's expression doesn't change until she thinks of something, mentally goin through a debate... she politely covers her mouth to stop a giggle, "Well, K-four-nine, it's nice to meet you. I am not sure I'm up for anybody eating me, on the first date atleast. I save that for a bit later down the road." she replies, moving her hand down. "Do you have a nickname? I do not want to accidentally call you something upsetting or uncouthe." she adds with her light, polite tone.
Similar to her eyes, her gun glistens and shines. But in its respective red and green hues, glowing in its place just hanging from her left hip. Not on or in anything, just stuck there by unseen means. "And, I suppose I could spare some time to help you find shelter."

"Call me K9, then. I'm sure I killed that one anyway. And I ain't above bitin' a guy's nose off." K9999 holds up his blue glove, which briefly turns into a drill that he spins quite quickly. "And I'm not sure you'd want the trauma of a first date."

He starts to walk again, hand back to normal. He's going in the way she came from. "I need to find city hall. I'm sure if there's a bomb shelter, politicians are held up in it. We'll just throw 'em out, find out who has the code, kill that guy, then go back and tell the Nazis."

Jira chuckles, he's delightfully spirited. She flashes a smirk at his drill- "I don't know, that looks fun." and an innocent enough wink. City hall, huh. Jira offers him her map.

"A map I grabbed at the airport before I flew over, of Metro City. If I get really lost I can call for help, if you need it I don't mind parting with it." she explains.

"I'll take that." K9999 says as he reaches out to rather rudely snatch it, even though she offered it anyway. Then he stares down at it and starts walking toward City Hall. He actually turns around, apparently having been going the wrong way.

"Well, since most of the people on the planet are dying, I guess bein' flat chested won't hold you back in life anymore." he idly states while continuing to focus on the map. "Anyone who works with me is safe, if they bring something to the table. People like me are probably gonna claim a city all over the world. I'll take this one."

Jira doesn't seem to mind. She about-faces with him on his turnabout and keeps at his side. "You know, I often find myself wishing I was flat chested. But, my vest does that for me." she muses aloud. "Nobody suspects that I can put most american women to shame." and smirks. "I'm not sure I'd want a city to myself, my sensei's got a bit more than that himself." an idle note.
"So, you can freely change your bodyparts into different shapes? That seems interesting, or fun even. But I don't know if there are any consequences to it, so I apologise if I seem to be coming off as wonderstuck."

"It's the fuckin' apocalypse, let your tits out if you want to that badly." K9999 slows down a bit as they walk, to step in line with her. Then holds the hand with the mechanical blue glove up. "This arm moves the most, it's the easiest to change. I mostly know how to make it into weapons, but it can be whatever. I can change my clothes. Actually I'm pretty naked, I can wear whatever I think, just comes naturally."

He looks himself over, then wiggles the fingers on his left hand, the one with the black wrappings rather than the gloved hand, switching which he holds the map in."I guess my body mostly works however I feel like it's supposed to work. But it gets complicated." he explains as fingers bend back unnaturally. "I don't feel limited. But I'm the ultimate being on this planet, so that's natural."

She chuckles. "I'm not sure it'd be polite to just hang out with no good reason." she murmurs. She gives a brief glance and pays polite attention, giving a nod herself and blushing at the note of nudity. "That sounds like you'd have no shortage of ways to find fun." giving a low heh.

"Now you've got my partner telling me to ask all sorts of deep and personal questions. But, they aren't the most sociable thing to have polite conversation with."

"Partner? You got someone listening? Or are you some crazy chick?" K9999 asks as they begin to approach the City Hall building, which in most cities looks older than everything else. Of course this, too, is water damaged, and he walks up to the doors, slamming his boot into it.

"I don't give a crap what you wanna ask. It's the apocalypse, and I don't care about the propriety bullshit of people inferior enough to die from a little water." He turns to face her, serious and full of pride. "-I'm- your god in this world now. And I say everyone can say whatever they want. No more stupid rules." He immediately looks up to a wall with a copy of the constitution, then raises his hand and -yanks-. It looks as if he was just trying to yank the frame down, but instead huge chunks of plastic and wiring gets ripped out as well. "No rules. That's the first commandment."

Jira Kasagi tilts her head. Already she draws out her gun and gives it a few twirls in her hand, then releases it so it hovers in the air. "They make the gun for me, feed me energy.. have a part of themself living in my head at all times. Sometimes I let them run my body for me and I take a nap in my mind. Usually during fights." she explains.
"That, and some of these questions are things I'd smack a person over, on the first date atleast." with a blush she adds, eyeing the kick and the vandalism without too much flinching.

"Well at least no one stuck someone in my head. They probably couldn't handle it anyway. And I'd probably kill anyone who stuck something into my head." K9999 starts walking around the building, kicking doors in. He mostly finds drowned bodies, if he finds anyone at all.

"It's not my fault you're a prude." he says without much hesitation, then stares at the stairs. "Where the hell would they hide a bomb shelter..."

But, back to his original thought, he stares back at her. "Don't project your prude bullshit onto me. If you wanna say something, say it."

Jira again chuckles. "It's hard to kill something made up of dead people's remaining thoughts and energy." she comments. "That, and I only hear their voice, I have no idea where the power comes from." and huffs. She's certainly not a prude- well, by japan's standards. So she unseals the front of her vest, then undoes the buttons and pulls the zipper down halfway- then does a button near top middle before finishing the zipper. It's immediately apparent that the vest is definately of special issue with how abundant her chest is with most of its confines removed. "I've seen a glove like that before.. I think. A mexican woman came over and stole it from my cousin, she was -fast-." she notes. "Is there something special about them?"

"They're all different, but they usually help limit power. If I didn't have mine I'd probably have destroyed a whole city by accident a long time ago." K9999 answers while watching her unstrap, then kicks the door to the stairs open and starts heading down. "You're my new apocalypse girlfriend. Fuck that Nazi chick. But I'll still help 'em, I need an army."

There aren't many stairs to the basement, but the door seems to have avoided this area being flooded. "That was your big question? My glove? Keep up that disappointing shit and I might have to throw you down the stairs."

Jira's eyes glint curiously. Definately mental gears churning. "Not sure you'd want a girl like me as yours, it would be a pain to explain." though the addition is aimed to herself. She peers down at the basement area curiously, keeping pace with her new friend.

"My partner wanted to know where you came from, they says you -feel- wrong.. like that mexican girl, but even moreso. In a way that isn't human, different. I have no idea what they mean about that feeling, I don't have that kind of sight." she states.

"I feel wrong because I'm -superior-. My body is perfect and I can kill anyone who denies that. It's just the monkey part of your brain saying I can kill you. But I won't, if you don't get on my nerves." K9999 keeps walking until they're down into the basement, then he opens the doors and mostly sees rooms that are full of records. It's not a -small- basement.

"You have big tits and the world is over, I don't really care what else is goin' on. I'm done with the trying to be human crap." He continues walking, looking around, then back at her. "If there's a problem then I can show you what my drill is all about."

That probably wasn't innuendo.

She shakes her head. "Not what I meant, I translated their concern correctly. The being superior just gets us excited. Probably speaks volumes of my life up til now, actually..." she gets drawn into an internal debate herself... well, that's fantastic. 'you have big tits' already the reason she hides her chest has cropped up and gotten her wishing for a bit less bust.

"I was grown and genetically perfected. I didn't come out of a womb." K9999 reaches down and raises his skintight shirt, showing his lack of a belly button. "You're excited because it's your genetic imperative to have babies with whatever can make children that'll rip everyone apart and eat wild dogs and stuff."
%After much searching, he finally finds what looks like a circular yellow vault door on the ground in some seemingly out of the way corner. "I guess that's the bomb shelter. We'll sleep in there when I get it open, then in the morning I'll go get the Nazis."

Jira just.. she wasn't speaking -that- kind of excited. Pervs, pervs everywhere. No more hanging out with strange guys alone. "Is it really time for bed already?" she asks "I was only planning to stay in America for a day, maybe two, before heading back home." the woman asks, mostly to herself.

"Well, you've certainly gotten my partner's attention, they've never met an engineered person before. Then again, their last body was in Egypt a few centuries ago."

"It probably means I don't have a soul, which probably means I can't die." K9999 reaches down to turn the handles, then lifts the vault and climbs down the ladder. He looks around, and everything smells kind of stale. The place has clearly not been opened in a long time. There's plenty of space, at least enough for a few dozen people. There's an old computer control center at the other end of the room, and boxes of supplies are likely in a door off to the side. There are multiple beds, comfortable enough for the politicians this place is meant for. And self-contained lighting.

"This place works. And it's late. I don't feel like walking through filthy fuckin' bodies again right now. But I need to steal a DVD player or something later. Get down here." he commands, walking over to the computer, then immediately ignores it as he looks over at a large bookcase full of VHS tapes and a VCR hooked up to a large TV.

Jira tries not to dwell on that, she doesn't bother with the ladder though. Her feet glow a bright pink and she just falls to the ground with a dull clicking. "If you'd like.." she murmurs, looking back up the ladder. That's gonna be annoying to climb in her boots. Then her eyes go wide... VHS tapes in this day and age?! "Wow, this bunker is decidedly... um, retro, I think is the word. Right?" she asks. Her english isn't flawless.

Jira Kasagi then shrugs and sits on a bed. "Setting out tomorrow, right. Sounds like a plan." and sighs. The night's going to be interesting, one way or another.
