JimmyLee - Lee vs Lee: Round 1

Description: Jimmy Lee and Yun Lee have a chance encounter in the Southtown mall and things quickly get... heated.

"Woo! Hell yeah! Check it out!" Yun Lee, the White Dragon of the Wind and Clouds is pretty much in the wind and clouds right now, as his skateboard kicks off the top of one specialty shop and he reaches down to grab the end of it, spinning through the air and slamming down onto the street with his wheels. He skids backwards to a small halt, twisting and kickflipping the board as he bobs and weaves around patrons, using them as purposeful obstacles, since he just knows beyond knowing that there are a few females littered around to check him out. There better be, anyway, since he just yelled for everyone to check it out. He's more than aware that his sudden and wild skating movements will likely have clumsifying effects on the random passer bys and such, but such is life when you're in the skate path of Yun Lee! "Haha! I'd say I still got it, but I never lost it! Woo!" He is so hype right now.

"Look, don't worry about it," Jimmy Lee -- The Red Dragon and one half of the Double Dragon Lee brothers -- barks into his cell as he moves quickly through the crowd of mall goers. Head down, with a red baseball cap pulled low over his eyes, he's in the midst of a clearly tense conversation with somebody, and only barely aware of his surroundings. In fact, he's completely oblivious to Yun and his tricks until he steps out in front of the skateboard. Some preservation instinct kicks in, and he snaps his eyes up in time to watch the White Dragon barreling towards him. With little more then a grunting shout, he leaps, tucks, and rolls, coming to a skidding stop a foot or two away, now lacking one hat and a fair bit angrier then he was a minute ago.

"Hey! Asshole! Watch where you're going!"

Yun pulls himself to a stop and leans the skateboard back, balancing with all the style and grace of someone that makes Tony Hawk look like Conan O'Brien trying to learn how to skateboard. He grins immediately at the fact that Mr. Tuck 'n Roll is wearing the angry face and he holds up a hand, twirling a familiar red baseball cap on his finger. That smile on his face is just so damn smug. He might as well be asking for trouble. Oh wait, it's Yun. He is.

"Rule Number One. Don't try to jock my style. There can be only one." Yun reaches up with his free hand to pull his one cap tighter onto his head. "And Rule Number Two?" Yun flings the red baseball cap off in the direction of Jimmy's feet. "Watch the language. There's children present, dude." Yun tosses a quick thumb in a random direction and sure enough, there's a couple of little brats standing there eating ice cream.

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee has started a fight here.

Jimmy's scowl grows deeper as he comes to realize Yun was behind the disappearance of his hat, and he doesn't seem willing to forgive and forget even as his cap is returned. Ever so slowly he crouches to scoop it back up, and as his knuckles scrape across the ground, some sparks and a flicker of flame jumps from his fingers and dissipates in the pavement. "I'm surprised," he retorts, the anger turning to cocky sarcasm as a crooked, humorless smile spreads across his face and he settles the hat back on his head, "I didn't think you'd be able to count to two."

Without so much as another word, he charges forward, twisting as he gets within range of Yun and bending low. His fingers grip the pavement again as he turns at the waist, his back leg coming up and around so he can try and drive his heel into Yun's side without even a thought of whether this may or may not be a bit of an over reaction.

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee successfully hits Yun with Sobat.

Mayhaps it has something to do with the fact that Yun's feet were not on the ground at the moment Jimmy decided to make overreacting an understatement. Distracted by trying to keep his balance on his skateboard and the snide commentary that comes from what has quickly become an opponent is what sends Yun stumbling off the skateboard and backpedaling with a hand dropping down to his side, where Jimmy's foot has connected with stylish flare. "Haha. Well. You just bit off more than you can handle, my man." Yun immediately starts bopping around on his heels, hands repositioning as he gets into his classically stylish fighting stance. "Here. Let me show you how to do this, hm?"

Yun moves with a quickness that might make it look as though he's still on the skateboard. His movements are swift and he rolls on his feet, moving in towards Jimmy and turning his back to him, but only for a second. His body continues to spin, his feet lifting into the air, one after another, as he takes to the skies with a dramatically overstylized kick that is primed and ready to collide one heel after the other with Jimmy's head and face area. Because that's how it's done.

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee instinctively blocks Yun's Senpuu Kyaku.

As Yun's spinning double kick comes flying for his head, Jimmy instinctively snaps both arms up to catch the attack on his forearms, bracing on his back foot to keep from losing his balance. Gruntingly, he throws his weight into a shove, fighting against Yun's momentum and getting his legs out of the way so he can turn and bring his back foot forward and step in on his opponent. Still wearing that cocky grin -- one that's looking a bit more sincere now -- he twists and crouches again, but this time, they're both a bit shallower and clearly a wind up for an uppercut as he shoves upwards and brings his fist around towards Yun's chin.

"Somethin' like this, right?"

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee successfully hits Yun with Step Uppercut.

There is very little that Yun can really do after coming out of that kick. He's in the middle of catching himself and putting down some balancing to make sure he doesn't get to thrown off by Jimmy's shoving blockdom. He's in the middle of a step when he spots the incoming fist, moving to try and sidestep but his feet do not want to go with him. Not to mention the fact that Jimmy is just a hair too fast and he catches that fist right underneath the chin. It rocks Yun's head back and he swerves, eyes blinking steadily as he spins on his heels and attempts to try and right himself. There's a moment where Yun does nothing but realize he's got blood in his mouth, which he spits out and immediately smiles. "Not bad. You hit almost as hard as my grandma!"

Yun's witty banter sparks the quick steps that he takes towards Jimmy, attempting to get in close enough to leap upwards, throwing a pair of jumping high kicks, one from each leg, in the direction of his Not Bad opponent. He's got no more witty banter to spare in this moment, as he's focused more on actually trying to knock some sense into and then back out of this guy's skull.

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee interrupts Nishou Kyaku from Yun with Cannon Kick.

When Yun starts taking his quick steps forward, Jimmy responds with one heavy step of his own. Rather then follow it up with another, though, he leaps straight into the air, rising just a bit higher than the White Dragon as he twists yet again. This time though, he throws in a forward flip, one leg extended as he reaches out to drive his heel into an overhead kick aimed towards Yun's head. "I'd like to see your grandma do this," Jimmy responds with a bit of a shout, just as his foot makes contact with Yun. He holds the strike a moment, bringing his leg down with force to try and throw him back toward the ground, but soon enough he bends his knee and brings it back so he can land on his feet. "Let me tell you the /actual/ rules, punk. Rule number one, don't mess with me," Jimmy continues, rolling a shoulder while he settles back into a ready stance.

"Rule number two, don't touch my hat."

Caught. In the air. By some punk with an attitude. This is not Yun's idea of showing off. These are the thoughts going through his head as he's knocked back down to the ground, his head reacting to the kick of Jimmy's like there was no hope for him to even get away from such power. He gets put into the ground with a mighty collision, the sound of something cracking resonates as well. He groans as he lays there for a moment, sprawled and definitely in a serious amount of pain.

"Ugh... you suck."

There's a cough that comes from Yun as he rolls over and pulls himself back up to his feet. He doesn't even seem to be close to giving in, even though it looks as though his body has been put through quite the ringer. It has. He's wobbly but as he reaches up to straighten out his cap, his eyes seem to be narrowed in a fit of focus. His teeth grit and he takes a moment to dig his feet into the ground, taking a moment to let the Pure Need To Be Awesome numb the pain that's coursing through his body at this very moment. "So you're gonna' have to do a lot better than that." Dramatic Pause. "/Asshole/." Hey, if Jimmy's gonna' turn his words around, then its time for Yun to return the favor.

Yun moves with the quickness now, leaping onto his skateboard and kick-pushing towards his opponent. The moment his board gets him close enough, he leaps up and off it, arms spreading wide as he takes to the air to somersault over Jimmy and plant his feet on the other side. It is then that his body is still for a brief moment, arms positioned in classic style and a smirk on his face. "Hope you like this!" He moves in, aiming to lash outwards and upwards with his arm towards Jimmy, followed by quick elbow strike as his body twists inwards and towards his opponent, the turn-step allowing him to lean his shoulder towards to see if he can't knock him up for optimum air.

"Whatever," Jimmy sneers back, bouncing on his feet, back and forth as he watches Yun rise, his side, and thus the smallest area, turned towards him as he keeps his momentum. Truthfully, there's been a lot of luck factoring in on the Red Dragon's side and he knows it, even if he doesn't outwardly awknowledge it. He's spent far too long ignoring his supposed potential as the Red Dragon and patently avoiding his brother. He's rusty, and Yun's much better then the majority of the cannon fodder he's faced in the past.

It's all forgotten when Yun calls him an asshole, though.

Scowling, Jimmy charges forward, barreling towards the punk on his skateboard when suddenly he's no longer there. Jimmy stops, his momentum carrying him into a vaguely stumbling step as he looks upward, watching Yun's progress through the air until he lands behind him and slams an arm into his face.

His neck snaps back and the 'Red Cap' tastes blood and he's forced back a step, letting out a grunt as he catches an elbow in the gut as well. With little enough time to waste, he manages to compose himself long enough to turn away from Yun's shoulder check, just barely managing to keep all his ribs intact. All the same, he's launched up into the air and backwards, away from Yun.

However, he's far from finished. Tucking, he manages to use his momentum to pull of a fairly acrobatic backflip and land on all fours, crouched into a passable runner's start. Without any hesitation, he immediately pushes forward rushing back towards his opponent with a good deal of speed as his flames erupt around his elbow, quickly spiraling up to engulf his whole forearm, though he hardly even seems to notice as he brings it down in an overhead strike towards the White Dragon's chest.

COMBATSYS: Yun fails to interrupt Heat Elbow from JimmyLee with Tetsu Zankou.

Yun doesn't move. He just doesn't. Not while he is watching Jimmy like a hawk. It seems that the fight is getting into full swing now and he's not about to waste any witty banter either. He's going to need it for when he pulls off a dramatic moment of epic proportions. But for the moment, his eyes are narrowed and he's straightening his hat. Almost as if he's just waiting for Jimmy to make a move.

And he does.

Yun smiles as he takes a step forward, dropping down and rolling, before popping back up with his back to the rushing Jimmy, aiming for another one of those patented shoulder charges. Sadly, though, this proves to be his undoing as he doesn't see the power or the flame. But he damn sure feels it. His back catches that elbow and the flames with nothing but the purity of epic leveled flaming justice. He's knocked right out of his own move, crumpling to the ground from the pain and he only rolls due to the collective velocity of the collision between both him and Jimmy. He grunts when he hits the ground, his braid flapping wildly as he rolls and ends up on his back, still in pain and hardly even capable of moving. For at least a moment.

How Yun gets to his feet after that is anyone's guess. Including the White Dragon of the Wind and Clouds. He's barely standing up, his body swaying back and forth as he attempts to bring his hands up. He can't even make fists. So instead, he just forces a smile through a bloody mouth, his hat cocked haphazardly to the side from the previous power of Jimmy Lee, the bill showing a bit of singe from the flames and he gives a weak: 'Bring It On' motion with his fingers.

Jimmy slowly straightens, watching Yun through appraising eyes as he silently gestures him onwards. Perhaps the White Dragon has no more energy or stomach for banter, but Jimmy's not done yet...

"It's over," he grunts raising his hands again as he turns back into a ready stance, "You fought well, but you're not getting back up after this one."

Again, he doesn't hestitate.

Leaning forward, the toes of his shoes digging into the pavement, Jimmy lurches forward, taking two quick, leaping strides as his right fist winds back, scorching red behind him and leaving curling wisps of flames in his wake. Just before he's set to collide with Yun, it arcs around, sending a scorching punch towards Yun's midsection, and if it connects, he'll twist and crouch to follow it up with another uppecut -- though this time, he doesn't leap into it -- with the same fist, still trailing fire.

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee successfully hits Yun with Gun Blow EX.

Yun doesn't flinch. He doesn't need to. There is nothing but space and opportunity between himself and Jimmy. He can't really move too much either, due to the fact that his body is a complete wreck at this moment. His eyes watch from beneath the singed cap and he does attempt to turn and spin out of the way, but his movements are just too slow. This is also the understatement of the decade.

Again, Yun does not even know what happened. In truth? That first connection with his midsection puts him out of his mental misery. Yun's body doubles over and he doesn't even know that he's getting smacked with a flaming fist of fury. It rocks him solid under his chin, lifting him into the air and sending him somersaulting end over end, sailing through the air. Gravity kicks in and yanks him downwards and right towards the skateboard that he holds so near and dear.

His body crashes down onto one end of it and his dead weight of unconsciousness almost breaks the board. It would seem, though, that the angle in which he's fallen has created the see-saw effect of '89, sending the skateboard up and over his body, hurled by fate in the general direction of Jimmy, simply through the power of faux physics.

As for Yun? He's out cold. Looking more like he just got jumped by a gang of matchstick carrying criminals than going not-quite-toe-to-toe with Jimmy Lee.

As a final show of defeat, Yun's cap finally lands on the ground, the bill caught aflame and burning slowly.

COMBATSYS: Yun can no longer fight.

There's no sneer or sign of celebration from the Red Dragon as Yun falls. There is, in fact, a bit of a silent grunt as he raises one hand to rub wearily at his hair, looking a bit ashamed as he takes in the scene. Carelessly, Jimmy's other hand snaps out and catches the board, the pure momentum stinging his palm, though he doesn't even wince as he approaches his downed opponent. Casually, he reaches down to pat out the flames on Yun's hat, lift it, and drop it on the White Dragon's chest before he settles the board at his feet and turns, slipping his hands into the pockets of his red jacket to fish out a cell phone.

"Yeah, 911? Some asshole just beat up a kid at the Village Mall in Southtown... Might want to send an ambulance."

COMBATSYS: JimmyLee has ended the fight here.
