Description:
Where had Mick been all this time?
That was a good question. One that Dan Hibiki's students no doubt wish would go un-answered. Because right now the seven foot Irish monster has kicked open the front door(breaking it if it's the sliding Japanese kind), and trailed inside pulling a greasy and ragged duffle bag along that looks like it's stuffed to bursting with various items and makeshift weapons. The hockeymask-wearing fiend glares at everybody inside(if there is anybody, actually) and rolls his neck while adjusting his fingerless black gloves. In faded and ripped blue jeans, a simple black tanktop and an open flannel shirt adorning his frame(not counting the steel-toed boots), he didn't quite look like the traditional fighter, but he was sure as hell more threatening than any random bystander off the street...
"Knock knock, this pigsty open? I needed to take a shit, and this dojo seemed appropriate for that purpose."
Dan does not have a lot of students. There's none in right now, so the threat is a little flat when posed to one guy who was taking a break to enjoy his sake. And then it gets interrupted by some douchebag kicking his door apart. He puts down his sake and looks MURDERHOUSE in the eyes.
"The bathdoor is over there." He points to a door that does seem to lead to a bathdoor. "You'll have to earn your entry however. As a penance for kicking in my door." Oh yeah, Dan is confident he can win this. When is he not confident? He has his fists balled already, and seems quite ready to block the guy's path.
The big man sneered while rolling his neck, the bones crackling and echoing throughout the empty dojo. He quickly pulled at his flannel, almost ripping it down his arms to ball it up and throw it against the far wall, now covered in just his black sleeveless Jack Daniels shirt, bringing his massive fists up and balling his fists...
Except he stopped, looking the man up and down and almost laughing in that quiet, whispering voice of his.
"Oh shit, are you Dan Hibiki?! I'm sorry man, I didn't recognize you at first. I was a little hasty earlier...could I shake your hand?"
The massive monster dropped his guard just a little, extending that right hand forward, a gesture of peace and respect toward the smaller man. What could possibly go wrong if that offer was accepted?...

Dan is no complete fool, he's aware he just challenged someone to a fight, and the guy has so far shown himself to be aggressive. "Sure, I'll shake your hand..." And shake the guy's hand, he does. He extends his hand to grab that if his opponent, an autographed photograph palmed to put into the other person's hand with the motion.
That is, if the massive guy doesn't drop it right away. "...Saikyo-ryu style." And he just goes to put his other hand into MURDERHOUSE's chest and use those two place as a method to get the drop on him by turning around and throwing, or trying to throw, MURDERHOUSE to the ground.
"Are you going to pay for my door?"

Damn, the fucker didn't fall for it.
The original plan was to shake Dan Hibiki's hand only to kick him in the balls, but now he's been grabbed, and thrown right into a collection of folding chairs neatly arranged against the far wall. Many of them smash and warp against him, but he immediately springs to his feet, almost uncaring of the impact he'd just endured. In fact, the grungy, hockeymask wearing man breaks into an immediate charge straight toward the pink-gi wearing "fighter". No questions about what he was trying to do, he wanted to run 'past' Dan, grab the man's pony tail, and use it to throw him to the ground, hard enough to shake the building.
If it worked, anyway.

Hint: It didn't.
Dan moves such that his arm is where his ponytail was moments ago, and though janking on it certainly didn't do him much good, Dan remains standing and his ponytail remains quite intact. He turns back towards MURDERHOUSE, not really bothering to talk back if the guy isn't talking to him.
So what he does next is quite simple. He attempts to punch MURDERHOUSE in the jaw, throwing a punch with such force behind it that he is likely to dislodge some of his own bones for doing it. But that's fine, because he's used to it and will just get them back where they belong quickly. A small amount of recovery time is required for it, but otherwise it's fine.

Alright, so the little fucker could really fight. Slightly. Color Mick impressed. He stepped backward just a smidge, and his own massive left forearm raised up to keep the knuckles of Dan's fist from splitting against that hard mask of his. And he spoke, long black hair making his already hidden visage look just a little bit more menacing, his eyes(no irises, just black dotted pupils glaring intently at his opponent) unblinking as they tried to burn into the pink-clad warrior's soul...
"You know, I always thought Saikyo-style consisted only of handjobs and swallowing. What d'ya think of that, you pony-tailed fuck?"
That's it, get the fucker mad. He wanted Dan to drop his guard, just a little, so that his left hand could throw a flurry of jabs, unchecked at the nose and mouth of Hibiki. And if all that worked, then the -real- attack would happen, an open-handed uppercut, aimed right at the throat of his adversary. Windpipes were made for crushing, in Mick's opinion...

This worked, Dan gets punched several times, the comments caught him off-guard. His windpipe is also hit, but apparently it's not crushed. "You must have been listening to rumors about the imposter's style. Kyokugen-ryu is quite a bit inferior to the real deal." No it isn't. Shhh. Don't tell dan.
Dan steps back and smiles, his perfect teeth blinking from the sunlight that comes from one of the windows. "But don't worry, I'll show you what Saikyu-ryu is really about." His hand opens into an upturned palm and he makes that 'come at me' gesture as he's getting into the fight.
COMBATSYS: Dan gathers his will.

he unusually bare-armed(his elbow pads were in that dufflebag, actually) wrestler watched the smaller man, sneering underneath that emotionless masked visage while he watched the (in)famous Dan Hibiki smile and act like this was some sort of goddamn photo shoot...His eyes narrowed(if that was even possible) with annoyance.
"Yeah, you know what else is inferior, jackass?"
All of a sudden the larger man moved with speed that belied his large, lean muscled frame quite a bit. His hand would try to grab for that ponytail again, but now his leg was trying to sweep Dan's feet out from under him, even as he threw the pink-clad fighter down and forward, trying to drive his face into the ground.
"These goddamn wooden floors!"

Unfortunately for Dan, these floors are of rather high quality. He gets smacked to the ground, hard. The floor is fine. It huuuurts like a bitch, but Dan wouldn't be Dan if he wouldn't take it in stride, and as he comes back up, he's gathering a small but not insignificant amount of energy in his hand.
He steps back as he does that, then pushes it forward with the loud and unmistakable cry of "GADOUKEN!" The energy flying towards MURDERHOUSE. The energy might even hit!

The big man chuckled to himself and let Dan get to his feet, starting to walk forward when he saw the energy crackling in Dan's hand, and having felt Hadoukens before, sneered and reared his arms back to present his chest as an appealing target, and to let that massive flaming sphere of energy smash into his body!
Alright, maybe in this case it looked more like a spitball than a blast of deadly energy he had known from Ryu and Ken, and maybe it was originally going to dissipate right in front of him when Mick, filled with pride with a massive ego, actually stepped -into- the attack before it could flutter into nothing harmlessly. But it was still a...'douken', and it still caused him to gnash his teeth and make his skeleton feel like repelling away from itself. His body shook violently, and his entire body was smoking a little before he shook his head, and glared right at the smaller fighter.
"That's it, bitch boy? That's all you can do, is throw your fancy fireball bullshit at me? You're gonna have to do better than that, and I'm gonna let you try. You get one more shot before I make you shit out your own teeth. Just so you know."

"I'm holding back to give you a fair chance." Dan answers as he remains where he is, teeth blinking again with that trademark perfect smile. How does the guy even maintain such a smile in his line of business? Dan would never go around anywhere with fake teeth, so presumably he has a really, really good dentist.
He observes this MURDERHOUSE fellow, but does not appear to be extraordinarily worried. "Go ahead, throw something at me. We'll see what you can offer, if you're that confident in your own abilities."
COMBATSYS: Dan gathers his will.

Here Mick was, offering the (supposedly) legendary Dan Hibiki the first shot, and the fucker turned it down, deciding to play games with him and flash him that irritating smile that made Mick want to break his face. Well that was fine, MURDERHOUSE Mick could play this game. Soon, the big man was charging Hibiki again, but his hand momentarily reached somewhere in his back pocket. When he brought that fist around, it was easy to see why:
Over his fingers was a pair of brass knuckles, studded and clearly designed to do as much damage as possible. This fist he swung in a lazy sort of uppercut at the man's jaw, wanting to take his fucking head off his shoulders.
"How's this ability, huh?!"

Dan gets knocked back by that truly massive uppercut, he falls to the floor but don't count him out yet. The Hibiki sensei has much more left where his previous actions came from, and really, he's just getting started. He pushes himself back up and looks Mick in the face. "Not bad."
Dan really has a way of downplaying his enemy's impact, his body shows that he's starting to feel the fight, but his face is refusing to acknowledge it. In fact, he's running towards MURDERHOUSE Mick and goes into a jumping kick aimed at the guy's nose. Say what you want, but this guy can kick high.

Now, Mick was getting into it, tossing those knucks to let them clatter against the wall, and snarled as he ran toward Dan to meet his charge halfway. And as Dan leapt into the air, Mick did the same, narrowly avoiding that kick, and lashing out his hand to grab the throat of Dan Hibiki, and squeeeeeeeeze for dear life. And as he did so, his eyes glared right into Dan's eyes, as they...glowed? Did they? It was hard to say, but Dan might find it impossible to break that gaze. For without realizing it, Mick was using what others knew as Psycho Power.
Staring into Dan's eyes, Dan might find it impossible not to recall everything he tried to hide from himself, everything he might hate the mirror for. Every failure, every bout of depression, each humiliating loss, each time he questioned himself as a martial artist and a man, all these nagging, nightmarish thoughts would boil and rise to the surface instead of being buried deep down like Hibiki might prefer.
Of course, Mick didn't know any of this, he thought the real move would be the ensuing 'chokeslam', as he came back down from that leap, slamming Dan's neck, shoulders and back deep into the ground by his throat, possibly hard enough to crack those fancy wooden floors, even as Mick landed on his feet, staring down at the prone form.
"Nice kick, boyo."
Dan would feel all those things if he was capable of conceiving those thoughts. Instead, his thoughts go to some entire other place. His father, and the emptiness the loss of his father has caused. In the end, it's the same effect, and he gets smacked down like that. In favor of Dan, he's standing back up.
And he's looking Mick in the eye. "Nice moves." The floors are still not cracked. Nothing but the best for Dan's dojo, even if it's barely used, the people who DO tend to use it tend to be rough fighters and powerhouses. The building is designed with those kinds of strains in mind. Blanka has failed to destroy the floor.
And then Dan starts gathering energy again. This time the 'douken is not a small one. A massive ball of burning chi is gathered, and Dan locks eyes with Mick. He smiles, teeth still flawless, and a *plink* as light shows in his face.
Then he throws it towards Mick with a loud cry of "SHINKUU GADOUKEN!"

"Shit!"
The curse is out of his hockeymasked mouth as he instinctively falls backward, hitting his back hard on that dojo mat as the fireball travels above him, singing his shirt even as he frantically grabs outward at that duffelbag. He knows just what he wants from it, pulling out a familiar can of hairspray(the brand Guile uses and trusts), pulling out his own metal lighter and sneering "up" at the man while still on his back.
"My turn, asshole!"
That's all he says before that makeshift flamethrower is sprayed at the prettyboy, if nothing else, maybe it would singe off his eyebrows?

Nope. It won't.
Dan Hibiki is not that easily overcome, apparently. He rapidly gathers enough energy in his hand for a Gadouken, then throws it at Mick. His quick Gadouken is seemingly enough to overcome the fire that's been thrown at him quite effectively, and now it goes for MURDERHOUSE.
"Did you really think that fashion could beat me?" Grin, *plink* Dan takes a step back to let that thought sink in for a bit. "At least, for your sake I hope you didn't think so. Because that would be an unfashionable mistake."
The Gadouken does look quite fashionable, with all the flaming it's doing.

On his back, Mick just didn't have any chance to roll and dodge this one. That fireball, smaller than the last one, still slammed into him, setting him ablaze with his own attack and causing him to roll around on the ground almost 'screaming' out...but definitely yelling. He almost sprang to his feet, walking around and inadvertantly knocking a bunch of crap off of some nearby wooden table, setting said table ablaze in the process while cloth, hair and denim melted slightly to flesh. So it might have been surprising to Dan the Man, when Mick(still on fire) suddenly ran after him, arms outstretched to attempt a flaming, immolating bearhug. And word to the wise, if this worked, he was not a gentle hugger.
Like, at all.
COMBATSYS: Dan endures MURDERHOUSE's Crushing Throw.

Dan goes with the blow, allowing himself to be crushed for maximum advantage of the situation. Word to the wise, don't do that again. You can almost hear his rips break, except they don't break. It gets close, and Dan looks like he's taken care of. Unfortunately for a certain MURDERHOUSE, Dan is not going down without a fight.
He breaks himself out of that hug by pushing Mick away, jumps upward in a rapid rising uppercut, circles half while in mid-air to throw another and as he lands, he throws a kick at MURDERHOUSE Mick.
And then he tries to catch his breath. Because he is feeling that hug.

The power of Mick was rather incredible, though perhaps not surprising given his large size and the nature of his martial art. Still, that Dan was able to power out of that death-grip spoke volumes about his raw talent, and the underdog spirit that lurked beneath him. Mick staggered backwards, still on fire, when he watched Dan leap into the air, and watched that foot come down to try and kick him one more time...
Unfortunately for Mick, this time there would be no cruel, daring counter. As the giant lunged at the descending Hibiki, said Hibiki's foot succeeded in smashing right into that white hockey mask, the force of it instantly putting out the fire, and causing Mick to fall to the ground roughly, hitting it at the same time as the Saikyo Master.
However, unlike Dan, Mick immediately sat back up, his pride and weird, rocky relationship with pain forcing him to shrug off that damage and act like it was nothing. He sat there a long couple of minutes, trying to get the room to stop spinning, before he finally stood up woozily. He collected his things, took the toilet in the bathroom as a trophy and future weapon, and left victorious.
The end.
