Description: Chiyoko is lured to Metro City by Jay, one of the street toughs who makes his home in the slums there. She's worth a lot of money to certain people... But Chiyoko is able to take care of herself, and then she bumps into someone else investigating Metro City's worst.
Chiyoko and Dr. Hayashi are walking through the slums, the doctor apparently looking fairly worried as he studies a map and the contents of a file, "Now this can't be right... Why would they send us to a place like this?" he says, while Chiyoko looks a bit apparently a little bit uneasy which certainly says something considering her normal mindset, "Maybe the person lives here?" she says before Dr. Hayashi says, "Hm... Maybe." then looks over at the entrance to an alleyway and says, "I think this is the place... Let's be careful, alright?"
Little does Chiyoko know that Jay, one of Metro City's many thugs, is been lying in wait. A little bit smarter than the usual trash, Jay is all about the cash, and while Glow trafficking certainly has proven profitable, when it comes to money, there's never enough. And Jay has heard word that certain parties are interested in Chiyoko, who is now something of a public figure with her NDP appearances.
Luring her over was childs play, literally. Practically straight to his doorstep in fact. He peers out of the broken glass windows of the old shop by the alleyway, and reaches down for his boot knife, which he draws. He knows she's rather erratic, maybe he can beat her up on his own. If not - well, he has some buddies in the next alley if he calls out.
Stepping out of the shop, he points the knife at Dr Hayashi. "Alright grandad, beat it. Your girl is my girl, now.".

Taking a few steps back with a fairly fearful look on his face Dr. Hayashi says, "T-this isn't a fight!" and then strangely takes a step forward before Chiyoko stops him and says, "I'll be ok, I've seen things like this before alright?" he then nods reluctantly and takes a few steps back to watch from a safe distance, "Well, at least I get to fight. It's better than nothing, right?" she says with a smile on her face. Taking a fairly loose and kick fighting stance, she runs up and moves to make a punch at Jay's face with a quite, "Mmm" noise indicating a certain degree of forcefulness.

The punk is quite fast it seems, as he twists aside from the fist headed towards his face. He's not a complete noob it seems - but Chiyoko is fast enough to clip him on the ear. "Alright..." he mutters. "I guess I wasn't expecting my prize to just fall into my hands.".
And he stabs at Chiyoko's belly with the boot knife he has clutched in his hands. No shouting from him, only fairly quiet talking. He wants Chiyoko all to himself - otherwise, he might have to split the reward!

Chiyoko twists away from the knife off to the side and moves to knee Jay in the stomach, apparently moving fairly fast all things considered. Looking down at the knife she says, "Why do you people always use those things? I mean, they hurt if they hit but you can't really use one like you can your fists and feet right?"

Jay stretches out one scrawny arm to cover his belly, and the kick smacks into him there - even so the hit knocks him back a few steps. "Speak for yourself toots." he tells her. "You might be some sort of freak show but here on the streets, weapons are just fine and dandy!".
She's quick. So the next attack is a wide slash with the knife, from bottom left to top right, a pretty big and hefty arc. "That said I don't want to stab you up really, just tell granddad to get lost, and you can come with me. Nobody is gonna hurt ya, I'm sure..." he croons.

Chiyoko raises her leg to block the incoming arc of Jay's arm, getting cut a bit in the process but largely avoiding the worst of it. "Freak show? Hey... I know I scare people sometimes, but I don't think I'm -that- bad." she then pauses before making two spinning kicks and launching a third one outwards then saying, "This isn't because I don't have hair, is it?"

Jay is somewhat ready for this, and as the kicks come in, he leaps forward! Suddenly getting up in her grill as it were, the knife is momentarily forgotten - one of her kicks smacks painfully against his side, but he does grab hold of her, and with an ankle curling around the back of her sole leg on the ground he does succeed and knocking her over onto the somewhat manky alleyway floor.
Still the kick hurt pretty bad so he holds his side, knife out, waiting for her to get up. Dr Hayashi is given a wary look - but he doesn't look like much of a fighter.
Chiyoko is knocked to the ground and lands with an, "Oof!" before she jumps back up and follows Jay's gaze over towards Dr. Hayashi before she looks back and says, "Hey, I'm the one you're fighting not him!" and starts throwing several punches at him, some physical and some telekinetic in nature.

"Whoa..." Jay gets out, as force fists come hammering towards him. He leaps off to one side! "See? You're a freak!" he tells her, before he goes back to circling around. "And yer right, it's not him I want - it's you. Why you following him around anyway? You'd be much better off with me." he says, going back to crooning again.
He moves to stab her, more or less wildly, aiming for centre mass. "I can look after you better than he can." he declares, while showing off his great competent.

"No thanks, I like my dad!" Chiyoko says as she braces her arm against one of the wild stabs, before gliding with the force and moving to trip him up and catch up between her knee and elbow as he falls, "He looks after me just fine!" she says during the striking attempt.

Jay is out of there as soon as her arm presses against his forearm like that. One thing he is good at is saving his own skin it seems, as he hops back with quite impressive speed for a punk.
But he's kinda tired, and he doesn't go back to stab stab stabbing as he just circles her for a moment, a look of consternation on his face. "Don't make me get my homies, I want you all to myself...." he tells her, annoyed, as it seems like he might need some backup after all.

"Aw, come on you can't be giving up now!" Chiyoko says as she moves in towards Jay and says, "You're no fun... Wait a second, you have friends?" before smiling and giving a high kick saying, "Maybe that could be fun!" Dr. Hayashi gives a bit of a worried look as he calls out, "Chiyoko, don't antagonize him all we need to do is get away, not have you fight more people!"

Jay is caught this time despite his best efforts, Chiyoko finally getting him good and proper in the face. He goes down, needless to say, stunned; but he has the presence of mine to roll away from her hurriedly and get the hell back up. "Yeah, we run half this city now!" he tells her, scowling, as blood leaks from his nose over his upper lip. And just to prove it, he puts two fingers in his mouth and whistles loudly.
He's really not happy about this though. So much for his loot. He can feel it slipping from grasp.

"Eh?" Chiyoko says, apparently somewhat confused at the whistle. Dr. Hayashi starts to move in apparently trying to grab her before Chiyoko says, "I'm ok, I've fought people like this before. I'll meet you back at the... Bus stop, I think? The one near the hotel." he nods and takes a few steps back before mumbling, "...Be careful" and running out of the slums. She then smiles and says, "Alright! Now we don't have any distractions!" and attempts to elbow him in the gut before half grabbing him by the shoulder, half clotheslining him and throwing him down onto the ground.

Jay hurls himself to one side, hitting the brick wall and getting black gunge all over his cool red leather jacket, the one with the nuclear trefoil symbol on the back. In so doing, avoiding Chiyoko's outstretched hand. And he's still leaking gore from his nose, but he's grinning wildly now, teeth red from blood.
"You'll have plenty of distractions soon, babycakes!" he tells her. May as well have some fun in beating her up, if he can't roll in dough. And he comes at her again with the knife, aiming for her stomach, a straightforward stabbing - but with a lot of anger, a lot of force behind it.

Chiyoko attempts to twist out of the way of the knife like she did before, but gets caught and stabbed in the side apparently grimacing a bit from the hit. She then kicks at him in an attempt to get him back after the move had connected and says, "Ow! Hey, call me a freak but fists are better for fighting. I feel weak when I bleed too much, and it's not fun fighting a weak opponent right?"

Maybe Jay should be known as Dodgy McDodgerson, as he shimmies to the other side of the alleyway as quick as a flash, getting black gunk over his /other/ shoulder. "I'm not here for /fun/ kid. I'm in it for the cash. You /like/ being stabbed?" he wonders? See? Freakshow, he thinks.
And then he rushes back in, trying to slide one arm behind her back as one foot raises up to about knee height on her, and send her crashing into the wall opposite. After all he knocked her down good and proper before, that seemed to work.
In his eagerness, he's not noticed that his homies seem to be curiously absent!

"What? I don't like being hurt but fighting someone is always fun!" Chiyoko says, apparently sounding a bit contradictory though perhaps she's referencing the challenge of a fight. Jumping out of the way, she runs up a wall in the nearby alley before jumping onto Jay's head and attempting to drag him down onto the ground with her weight, "Whee!" she says as she runs up and flips off the wall.

There follows quite an impressive display of acrobatics from all parties for the most common of street fights. Chiyoko running up walls, and Jay, er... falling on his ass. But falling on his ass and scrambling away from her seems to work just fine, so he's not complaining.
Well, aside from the wet arse he now has after going through a puddle. Dirty work, being a punk.
"HEY!" he shouts out, even as he's advancing upon Chiyoko again with his knife, slashing one way, then the other, trying to catch her out.

Chiyoko jumps away from the first strike before bracing her arm against Jay's arm for the second and headbutts him in the nose saying, "What? You started this, and I don't see your friends showing up either way... Are you going to start begging me not to hurt you? I remember this guy with a knife from last month, his friend ran and he begged me not to hurt him even though he could still stand... They weren't much fun really."

Jay is quite tired now but still tired enough to leap back away from her again when he comes at her with a big big headbutt. One advantage of a knife - reach.
"I doubt it." he says with a sneer. He'll be running away long before that happens! "Give it up, your 'daddy' is long gone, and my homies will be here any second.". Said, he he goes back to stabbing at her again, various wild strikes, not really too aimed.

Chiyoko jumps out of the way and says, "So? I can find him later. Because he's gone, that means that you can't hurt him!" she says, with the last four words in a sing-song voice then jumps forwards once more and crouches down before unleashing an upwards kick flowing with the force of the jump and striking with a cry of, "Haaaa!"

Jay is trying to get up just when Chiyoko rolls right on top of him - and he never expected /that/. He tries to buck her off of him, but isn't quite fast enough to avoid a punch to the face which leaves him unconscious, finally. "Unh...".
...And just about then Cammy comes wandering around the corner. Well, not just wandering, she was going at a fair pace, looking for whoever the guys the alley over were headed towards. One hand clutches a plastic syringe, glowing with an odd, pale blue light. Though, surprised by seeing Chiyoko and the downed Jay in the alley, she takes a moment just to observe, eyes wide.
Presumably the downed Jay implies Chiyoko probably isn't a Glow dealer, but, you never know!
Turning over towards Cammy, Chiyoko appears to smile and says, "Oh, hi! I didn't think I'd see you here." then pauses and gives a scrutinizing look saying, "Did someone send you a message that there would be an NDP fight here too? Or are you not in the tournament?" before she realizes the grime that's covering her and says, "Ew..." as she looks herself over.
Cammy isn't hugely bothered about muck, as she slips into the alley, and crouches down next to the fallen Jay. Red gloves hands reach out, to give him a pat down, eventually find another plastic glow-syringe in his jacket pocket. "You know anything about these?" she asks, holding up the glowing syringe, for the moment at least, focused on The Mission.
But then she realises she's probably being antisocial again. "Hi." she says, with a polite ambassadorial smile. "I'm not aware of any tournaments here... only drug dealing gangbangers. Looks like you found one, too. I assume he went for you, right?" she asks, just to make sure that yes, Chiyoko is here more or less by accident. "Where's that doctor guy? You still with him? he OK?".
"Oooh..." Chiyoko says as she looks at the syringe apparently a bit entranced by the glow, "It looks nice, but I don't think I'd want to get that injected into me. Who knows what it does." she then looks over at Jay and says, "Oh, yeah. My dad's still with me, we came here for an NDP fight... Turns out it wasn't a fight, it was him." she says pointing to Jay, "He wanted me to come with him, probably because of Shadaloo or something. I mean, they aren't that powerful but people come up from time to time... Maybe they offered something to him, I don't know. My dad's back at the hotel, I told him to leave so they couldn't try to hurt him. It's easier to fight like that."
"It doesn't do anything good." Cammy tells Chiyoko, as she reaches up to tug the beret off of her head. The syringes get stashed in her hat, apparently safely enough, and she tugs the beret back on again.
"I see... Shadaloo? Well, as far as I know they aren't involved in Metro City. But there are a /lot/ of these drug dealer ne'er do wells around, you should be careful when visiting - though I see you can handle yourself at least. There are much bigger fish than this guy around thogh, so don't get too overconfident.".
"You want me to walk back to your hotel with you?" she offers, now looking at Chiyoko with ill disguised curiosity. It might be an opportunity for a chat, if nothing else - and with the somewhat evasive doctor out of the picture for a while, at that.
COMBATSYS: Chiyoko has ended the fight here.
"Sure!" Chiyoko says apparently not really understanding what was going on, "It's probably best for us to get going. I've seen people who are stronger than me before, but not very. Who knows what kind of people I might see around here?.. Honestly, it feels like there's something wrong with this place. It's not just that it doesn't look nice, there's something... Off." she says apparently trying to put something into words that doesn't quite come so easily.
"Well... you're not wrong." Cammy agrees, looking around the place. "Lots of desperate folks live around here. People who use glow, or deal in it. It's nasty stuff. And it suddenly started showing up here not too long ago; someone is up to no good here, someone I've not yet seen. These guys...", prodding Jay with one army boot, "don't seem to know anything about that so far. All so terribly mysterious. At the moment, anyway.".
She walks to the end of the alley, looking either way down the street to make sure it's safe, and then beckons Chiyoko over. "I fear I might have angered the local muscle, so just as well we're going. I'd hate to attract someone big and bad right now. So...". She changes mental gears, as she regards Chiyoko. "Are you a doll, then?" she wonders.
She's nothing of not direct when it comes to conversation!
"I... Don't know." Chiyoko says, "I was trained a lot, and I remember lots of experiments. My dad was there for me, helping me and the others who were there. Sometimes I fought against people who looked exactly like me, other times I was supposed to do what I saw in videos. Sometimes you were in them, sometimes there were other girls in outfits that kind of looked like mine. I think I slept in a big tank of... Something. Liquid, I could breathe in it but I mostly felt sleepy while I was in there."
Cammy takes that as a 'yes'. She frowns mightily - but in truth, she's really not sure what to do. She might have to consult her superiors... or someone else who might know. Or know someone who knows. She shakes her head, braids swinging gently behind her head, as she looks over at Chiyoko. "Mmm, well... you're okay now, right? Are you happy enough?" she wonders. "Have you won any of those NDP matches yet? You like your dad?". The questions come thick and fast, now!
"I like my dad, and I'm pretty happy." Chiyoko says, "I haven't won any matches yet though. The most I've gotten was a tie, or so I was told. I'm starting to wonder if I can really do that well. I mean, I'm not all that strong all things considered even if I can fight someone normal. When it comes to people who actually fight in tournaments... It's really different. Still, it's fun and that's enough for me!" she finishes.
"Hmm, well. I'd like to keep an eye on you, just in case. Not me following you around or anything quite so creepy, but I'll keep an eye open. No doubt we shall bump into one another again at some point in the future.". Cammy reaches up for her beret, and roots around in there - careful not to stab herself on a glow-syringe - and digs out a card, which she offers to Chiyoko. "I don't know if you use emails, or phones, or such, but you can learn if you don't." she says brightly. "If you get into some sort of trouble, more than you can handle, then get in contact. You said that Shadaloo, or whats left of it, is after you, after all. And they really are trouble, you can take it from me. I'd hate for them to get a hold of you.".
She did say this to Dr Hayashi before, more or less - but Cammy wasn't exactly enthused with the good doctors response. And besides, she's not entirely sure she likes him yet. Some things are better kept between doll and doll.
"Alright, thanks!" Chiyoko says, "I'll be sure to find you if something happens." she pauses and then says, "Um... Where exactly can I find you if something goes wrong, exactly? I'm not sure how I would contact you really."
"Well, you can get to a phone, no?" Cammy asks, a bit bemused. But then she shrugs. "Well, I'm based in London as you ask, in the MI6 building. But if you can't get to there, then any British embassy will probably do, if you ask for my name, and Delta Red. They could send a message to me, I'm sure, if you can convince them you are legit, anyway.". Which might be a problem, given Chiyoko's rather lackadaisical attitude. Hmm. She reaches up to her beret, and pulls off the badge from the front, and offers Chiyoko that, too. "Not many have one of these, not anybody outside my unit I think. Maybe that will help.".
"Right now, obviously, I'm working in Metro City, so if you speak to the cops you can probably get in contact with me, but thats only for this mission. I'm not sure where I'll be when it's all over. Wherever the next mission needs me. Though from how it's going so far this mission is looking like it might take quite a while...".
Taking the badge, Chiyoko stuffs it inside one of her gloves and says, "I'll be sure to show someone that if I need to." before pausing then saying, "So, I guess I'll see you later. I hope your mission goes well, it seems like there's a lot of trouble involved."
"There is... but a glow free Metro City will be worth it. And besides, I have my orders. It's nice to know that the orders are good ones, is all." Cammy replies with a smile. "Thanks for your good wishes.". And she somewhat impulsively gives Chiyoko a brief hug. "Alright. Best of luck!". And she offers Chiyoko a final wave, before turning and headed back towards the slums.
