Description: A doll and a minder meet up on the streets of London...
Having come out of the London Heathrow Airport some time ago, Chiyoko and Dr. Hayashi have stopped at a bus stop on the street, apparently with a distinct lack of buses at the moment as he tries to make sense of a map acquired from the airport. Chiyoko on the other hand is looking about in her usual excited and energetic manner, apparently impressed by the sight and feel of a new location as she jumps up onto the top of the bus stop and looks out, drawing a little bit of attention as she usually does when she indulges in her penchant for high places.
Cammy has been in London for a while now, but it's a big city, not the sort of place you get to know - properly know - in a few days of exploring. So she's wandering around, mostly aimlessly. Unfortunately even if she is a fighter, an eighteen year old girl has certain limitations when it comes to checking out the pubs and clubs and making contacts. There have even been a few kickings and beatings, just so East End cockney gangster types treat her with enough respect to at least, like, talk to her.
In the Delta Red uniform she looks rather obvious to put it mildly. As it's raining though, she has augmented with an umbrella. An umbrella which mostly conceals her from viewing from above - at least entil she leans back, to look up at Chiyoko up there with some bemusement. She looks familiar...
Looking down from the bus stop, Chiyoko notices Cammy standing in the rain as she looks up then jumps down and runs over saying, "Hey, it's you! It was a long time ago, but I remember you from Germany!.. You remember me, right?" as Dr. Hayashi looks over and quickly walks over saying, "Chiyoko, what are you doing?! You know who she works with." Apparently not understanding what he meant, Chiyoko looks over towards him and says, "I do?.. Nope! Nothing." as Dr. Hayashi has a somewhat fearful look on his face, he notices that Cammy isn't attacking and says, "Maybe... Do I look familiar to you?"
Who she works for? Delta Red? Are these guys terrorists or something? "I remember you." Cammy tells Chiyoko, before furling her umbrella and shaking off the raindrops as she steps under the cover of the bus stop where Dr Hayashi is. "No, you are not." she tells him, looking up at him curiously. "Should you be?" she wonders, quirking one blonde eyebrow. He has a very bad poker face, that much is evident, as she walks right up to him, into his personal space. Not that tiny girls can look all /that/ intimidating... but if he was wary of her to start with, who knows?
Appearing notably relieved, Dr. Hayashi mumbles something about not remembering and saying, "I'm sorry, I... Must have mistaken you for someone else." before Chiyoko says, "That was weird..." then continues on saying, "We're here for the neo development league. We've seen some different places really. Africa... Japan... Now England! I haven't won very many, though." she says, apparently a bit disappointed as she finishes.
Cammy ahs. "Well, I wouldn't worry, practice makes perfect." she repies, looking up at Chiyoko, before focusing on Hayashi, who seems to be the interesting one. "Oh, you seemed quite certain that you knew me a few seconds ago." she replies smoothly. "So who did you think I am? And who are you, anyway?". She glances up at Chiyoko again. "Her father?" she wonders, curious, as she prowls around Dr Hayashi, her curiosity aroused.
Remembering Guile's description of Cammy, Dr. Hayashi says, "I've already been questioned about this... I don't have to talk to you. There was a tall American man, well muscled and somewhat rude. Blone hair, had a tattoo of the American flag on his shoulder." he says, "If you really need to know who I am exactly, I'm Dr. Hisakawa, I run a clinic back in prague. This is my daughter Chiyoko, we travel every now and again for fights, the extra money helps what income we get from the clinic."
"Ah, Captain Guile. He is a little direct but he is a good man in general." Cammy reassures. At least, when Damnd isn't around, poor Damnd, she still is wondering what caused Guile to kick off there! "And I suppose you don't have to talk if you don't want to." she shrugs. "I'm just a trifle concerned as to why you seemed so afraid just now. That implies that something is wrong, that there is danger around, that you are expecting trouble. And really, dealing with trouble is my business.". She does back away from the good doctor a little.
"...Wait." Dr. Hayashi says, "There's something you should know." he says, somewhat quietly with what might be an embarrassed look on his face, "We don't just travel for fight participation. It's also to keep Shadaloo away from us. If you deal with trouble, then you should know that they may show up if we're around. I don't want to cause trouble by being here, but... Things might happen."
"Shadaloo? Shadaloo is our business. There was that war a little while ago, you may remember! NATO was involved. Captain Guile was involved. Me, too. As far as we're concerned Shadaloo has been defeated, though I'm sure it will prove temporary. If you really think you are in trouble, then you should get in contact with us, the professionals. It is our job after all.". Cammy even has the uniform to prove it, and she stands a little straighter when saying it - dolls have a mission, it just so happens her mission is not exactly what the creator intended. "Wait. I will give you my email. So why is Shadaloo following you?" she wonders, as she pats her hips for nonexistent pockets to find nonexistent pieces of paper and pens. And clenches her fists. Argh, the absurdity of this ridiculous getup! She's going to have to have a handbag or something, which would look even more absurd!
Appearing slightly nervous, Dr. Hayashi says, "I... Stole her from a Shadaloo base. They were running experiments on her. The base isn't around anymore, but they're still after me because of it."
"I... see. Thats a brave act." Cammy says, eyes widening slightly. "And what is your plan now? You are going to keep travelling with her... forever?" she asks, glancing up at Chiyoko-On-The-Roof, again. "I am not seeing what the end game is, here. Not a pleasant end game, anyway. You are probably fortunate that Shadaloo has been greatly weakened at present.". As she's got no pockets she just puts her hands on her hips instead. "What would you like to happen?".
"Preferably, just a peaceful life that doesn't involve having to worry about whether or not someone it going to burst through your door demanding that yo-Er... That your daughter is to be returned, and that you are punished in the process." Dr. Hayashi says, "She's been able to fight off some of the people who came after us, but not easily."
"If she's a fighter, I fear a peaceful life might not be possible - especially if Shadaloo is after her... hmm. It sort of comes with the territory...". Cammy peers at Chiyoko, and then she suddenly remembers what Daniel was talking about. "Is she a doll?" she asks the doctor, eyes widening a bit.
She's never met a real doll before!
"Hmm. I will have to talk to my superiors if so, I think. We might be able to do something for you, and her. As it is... umm. Do you have paper and a pen on you?".
"I don't know." Dr. Hayashi says, "...But I did get a letter addressed to her saying, 'Broken dolls can be fixed'. It had their emblem on it. It was after a fight took place outside of my clinic. She went to investigate, apparently was attacked and the letter came while she was out."
"That doesn't really sound like a good thing to me. If she's broken, she seems rather happy and non-threatening at the moment, presumably fixed means back in Shadaloo's grip once more, which would be bad for all concerned no doubt.". Cammy mrrs a bit. "Well, Doctor, far be it from me to hold you against your will or anything, but it sounds to me like you both need some help in your travels. If there is anything I can do, then I shall try my best. That might not be very much, admittedly, until I mention your situation to my superiors.". She hates to promise things she might not be able to deliver.
"No, it doesn't sound good..." Dr. Hayashi says, "But thank you for listening... Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll have to try to figure out how to get to the hotel we're staying at..." he says as he pulls out the map and starts to look at it once more.
"Alright... but please, do not hesitate to take me up on my offer. Moving around only works so far. You said yourself you've already been attacked a few times, and I'd hate for you to get caught out. And your charge perhaps dragged back, to a fate worse than death...". She shivers a moment, thinking about that briefly, before offering the doc a salute.
"I wish you luck, in any case.". Cammy is sure to keep an eye on the two of them, which while in CCTV festooned London at least should be easy enough...
