Description: Cammy finally hunts down the elusive and wily Ken Masters. Of course, she catches him when he's stuck in the airport, on a layover. Funny how things work out like that don't they?
It's not like Ken Masters has anything to hide. Which means when Cammy gets word on the secret service grapevine that he's got a ticket at JFK airport only this afternoon, she's over there like a shot! As fun as bumming around Metro City may have been it's not the reason she's stateside after all, she's here on business, sorta.
Clad in her Delta Red gear, and with an understanding with the local management thanks to some sweet talking and assurances of her only being here a little while, she's hanging around in departures, casing the place where Ken is likely to be. So far she hasn't even been hassled by the TSA! So far, so good. She at least is rather obvious in beret and leotard, maybe Ken would be so good as to wear his signature gi as well, as then finding him would be rather easy...
It really won't be that easy. Ken's in the middle of a business trip, and he's currently sitting in a small resturant wearing a rather plain business suit. The only real difference is a pair of glasses that rest on his face as he types away on the small netbook that rests on the table before him.
He's already received word that MI6 is trying to contact him through his own sources, yet he's been truly busy trying to take care of enough business to he can truly take a prolonged vacation to focus on his family. A slight grumble escapes his lips as he continues typing, only to glance over and notice the blonde woman in a leotard.
There's a moment where he seems a bit shocked, considering the last encounter he had with her. Of course, she is wearing a different uniform then the previous time he delt with her.
"...Miss White, over here." Part of him feels a bit of doom as he calls out to Cammy, remembering that her and another person successfully subdued and 'kidnapped' him. This is going to be a rather interesting meeting.
Cammy has never met Ken before as far as she knows, though she supposes maybe it's possible. But it's best not to assume. She does smile when hailed though, and slinks over to him, weaving her way through the crowd, until she's in comfortable conversational distance. She even offers him a salute - he may not be in the military that she knows of, but he's certainly earned the respect.
"Ken Masters? I wouldn't have recognised you, I fear.". She tugs off her beret with one hand, and then offers him the other red gauntleted hand to shake. "I'm surprised you recognise me? I guess my inquiries must have got back to you. Well, we weren't trying to be all that underhanded in truth, you're just a hard man to find, so I hope you don't mind the cloak and dagger. I have a matter to briefly discuss with you, regarding an article in your magazine, if you have time?".
There's a bit of surprise in Ken's face as she salutes him. He waves the sign of respect off in a way, smiling slightly at the woman. "Please have a seat Miss White." A few more keystrokes and then Ken finally closes the lid of his netbook. His attention now focuses solely on Cammy, especially as he notices the differences in her overall attitude and movements. It's obvious she's no longer acting like a puppet on a string.
"So while I'll go out on a limb and take a wild guess that this is in regards to Adon, I'm going to point out that the interview isn't even ready to be broadcasted so I can't comment much on it or give any real information on its contents more then I did in the article."
"You have good instincts... I'm not here to request any corrections or anything like that. I just think you should be aware of just who it is you're dealing with; I know Adon has been fooling around in your league and making a bit of a chump of himself but that's only the slightest hint of what he's up to you know. I'd hate for him to become some sort of role model for people ignorant of just what he's been up to, and from what I've seen I think he could be.".
Cammy settles down next to Ken on a rather uncomfortable airport seat, shifting around a bit until she gets more or less comfy, red beret in her lap on camo painted legs, with her hands resting atop the beret. "I work for MI6 as I guess you must know, and was involved in some operations in Myanmar after the war. Where I encountered Adon. He wasn't actually a part of my mission, but I made him a part of it, with my CO's blessing.".
Ken strokes his chin as he opens up the netbook once more and turns it towards Cammy. "After the war, I've been making it my business to know whats going on and where. Shadaloo caused a lot of problems and there's a good number of people that have been affiliated with my companies that need assistance."
He stands up and moves around the table to sit next to Cammy, quickly pulling up a couple of documents that've been sent to his email. "Adon isn't a role model, but unforunately.. He is a tragic figure. I've only just recently learned /how/ messed up he really is. Trust me, if you can get to the real Adon it's understandable to realize how twisted someone can easily get." The documents are psychological reports on Adon, the most recent being compelted only a few hours before hand.
"Meglomaniac tendencies with schitzofrenic episodes. Prone to violent and rash outbursts, obvious signs of Post Trumatic Stress Disorder... These are all of the reports I've been collecting, going back as far as I can. I have no intentions whatsoever of building him up to be a role model.. Infact, I intend to tear how down to help him rebuild himself as a person who isn't... so twisted."
Cammy shakes her head, a little stiffly. "I do confess to not finding him particularly tragic, Mr Masters. He has the blood of innocents on his hands, and for nothing more than his amusement. Let alone... his other tastes.". She does flush a bit, not quite sure how to explain that. "Suffice to say that he had a large number of slaves in his mansion to serve his every whim, and they were not happy about being there.".
She spreads her hands, looking down at them blankly for a moment. "I have as much compassion as anyone else, but he seems to get more sympathy than his victims. In any case, if you like, I'll have a copy of my report sent to you.".
"I'm honestly not surprised." Ken taps away on the netbook some more, only to shake his head slightly. "Send me the report. I'll find a way to work it --" The blonde Ansatsuken master suddenly gets to his feet and pulls out a cellphone from his front jacket pocket. "Miss White, how busy will you be.. in say a week or so from now?"
Already Ken's dialing a number on his phone, only to start speaking immediatly after it connects. "Hey, it's me. Yeah, I found out what it was about. It's somewhat what I figured it was. So, how does this sound.. I need a venue at.. lets see.. What would be closer.. Yeah. Fairchild would be best. I'll leave it to you to secure the proper clearance. Explain that its me wanting to do it. Don't care. About week or so. That should work. All right. Bye."
The phone is immediatly placed into his front pocket once more as he moves to sit back down. "If what you're telling me is true, then I suspect that Adon is going to be in some serious trouble over this.."
Once more the wheels are turning in Ken's head. "How does revealing the report to the world on live television sound?"
Cammy blinks in slight confusion when he asks her what she's up to, and then ponders, when it becomes clear what he's wanting. "Oh, well, I wouldn't mind if you choose to do that, so long as the source is suitably anonymous. But if you want me to do it personally - I'm afraid I think not. I don't think MI6 would approve of one of their agents getting sensational headlines.". And she wouldn't either really, assassins don't like bright lights after all, even if they are nice ones.
"In any case... I just wanted you to know just what you were dealing with is all, and very soon, you will do. Perhaps you will succeed in your efforts with him, if the report helps, well, I am glad to be of assistance.". She gets up from her chair, and turns to face him.
"Oh, I'm fairly certain MI6 will enjoy this very much." Ken grins slightly as he picks up his netbook, sliding it into the right pocket of his jacket. "Make sure I get it within the next few hours if at all possible. I need as much time to review it as I can get. Especially since I'm going to be doing something fairly.. big with it."
Cammy nods at him, and returns the beret to her head. "I will email it as soon as I am able." she promises. "I'm sure your time is precious Mr Masters, and your flight cannot be too far off now. Thank you for your time. That is all I wished to speak to you about, in any case. Good luck in your dealings with Adon.".
Beret back in place, she draws herself up to her full (limited) height, and offers him another salute by way of farewell.
