Description: May Lee on a quest to find Ken, Ibuki on a vacation trip to Las Vegas are entangled in a Neo League fight in which it is determined that Steak is the name of the game and whomever gets the most beaten up is the loser on the check for after fight dining. Also there is gratuitous Tanuki Action! BEWARE friends.
May Lee is on a quest! Having heard about the ruthless actions of Shadaloo in America (really, who hasn't?) she's headed right over to the United States and is doing her level best to find Ken Masters. You wouldn't think that this would be a huge problem, what with Ken being such a prominent public figure and all... but May Lee is not renowned for her keen sense of geography. And, in the style of fighters everywhere, upon receiving the opportunity to test her skills in Las Vegas, she's seized on it!
The neon lights make it almost as bright as day, even though it is the middle of the night. A cheering crowd are standing around whilst the League cameramen get set up, and there's May Lee. Dressed in her iconic frog shirt, with a hand covering her eyes as she scouts for her opponent. She knows all about Ibuki! She's fighting a *ninja*, which is totally awesome, but also means she's really expecting trickery and deceit!
Ibuki currently has neither duty nor responsibility in her life, after the madness of the King of Fighters tournament she couldn't even really remember how that all ended for her team but it was over now and she went from team leader to teenage ninja again. It was...WONDERFUL!!! She'd also had a bit of down time after hunting Sagat and facing him one on one, it'd been a painful loss but she would someday repay that favor, maybe, if she decided she was going to keep being a ninja. All that out of the picture the Neo League offered her a chance to go to Las Vegas for a match, maybe Ken was making up for going a bit nuts during the tournament and finally sending her somewhere not creepy for a fight...somewhere she might even have a bit of fun afterwards!
Ninja's blend in, at least until they don't want to anymore. Which is how Ibuki makes her entrance...dressed as Neo League staff until she makes it to the 'fighting area' where she grips her clothes and pulls shredding the outer wear to reveal, Ibuki in her standard ninja gi and Don-chan clinging to her back, "Ibuki is on the scene!" She enthuses as Don leaps off and takes up a spot in the crowd to watch the match, "Ready to do this?!" Again her cheerful voice rings out as she faces May Lee.
May Lee's jaw drops as Ibuki makes her entrance.
For a moment, there is silence.
And then she jumps up and down with glee. "That was SO COOL!" She enthuses, clasping her hands together and shaking her head quickly back and forth, "You were here all along! That's so awesome! You're really a ninja! Wow oh wow, I've never fought a ninja before!"
She does manage to calm down at least a little bit, to smile from ear to ear and point dramatically at Ibuki. "But I, Champion of Justice May Lee, was BORN READY... to uh, to battle... ninja!" She hesitates for a moment, "But you aren't an /evil/ ninja, are you?" Well, it is always best to check, isn't it? She's pretty sure Ibuki is one of the good guys, but who knows, maybe that was all a cunning ruse! Which will be exposed by asking her point blank, obviously.
Ibuki gives a quick grin to May Lee as she looks on in astonishment while she pulls up her mask.
"My Masters would be really displeased with me if I didn't at least make use of all that training they've made me do." Ibuki's voice slightly embarrassed by May Lee's enthusiasm. She takes up her fighting stance, "So I hope you don't mind, I'm going to make use of everything I've been taught not just the flashy entrance part." Ibuki grins at May Lee's introduction, "Excellent!" She then chuckles, "No I'm not at all, though if you don't believe me you can judge that by my actions in this fight if you prefer!"
Sweeping forward, like a coiled spring Ibuki closes the distance to May Lee, flipping forward to land on the palms of her hands as her feet are swung around in upward rising two legged mule kick towards May Lee's chest...though not with the intention of damaging more to fling her into the air as Ibuki's toes try to grip May Lee's clothes to help out. If May Lee doesn't slip out of it, Ibuki would then roll back so she lands on the balls of her feet and jump up after the airborne May Lee only to use her head for a spring board for greater height while causing May Lee to plummet back to the ground face first. That is if all goes well.

"Don't hold back! I'll be giving you all I've got with my taekwondo!"
The kick is met with a pair of crossed arms, and May Lee forces Ibuki backwards with a rough shove. She skids back a couple of steps herself, but avoid the majority of the attack.
"Whoo! That was a close one!"
It does seem to have helped bring her out of her heroic daze. Shaking her head quickly, the girl dashes forwards with a quick jump, landing just in front of Ibuki.
At which point she twists around, and her foot comes forwards to try and plant itself in Ibuki's gut. Hit or miss, she's already coming around a second time with the other leg in a jumping juggle, and now that she's starting to build momentum, she doesn't want to let Ibuki get away; the girl's swift skills put on display as she does her best to stay within the ninja's guard.

"I don't usually hold back!" Ibuki chirps in response.
Ibuki's teeth almost rattle at that rejection of her attack but she rolls away smoothly already getting into a crouch with the last of the moment of the kick bouncing off the hard block. Still resetting her stance in this low position she's not quite ready for the leap in attack...
The kick lands home in her gut as May Lee spins around and slams another leg right into her. This could get painful...is Ibuki's sole thought for a moment if there was going to be a third follow up to that but when she doesn't see it coming she's already shaking her head to clear the stars and get some of her breath back.
"Nice shot, first solid hit is yours for sure!" Ibuki then winks as she starts to move in as though going for a elbow strike to May Lee's chest but suddenly dropping down and attempting to slip through the other girl's legs trying to take advantage of the close distance May Lee is keeping them at. If she passes through, well then May Lee's going to find Ibuki putting her arm around her neck, then using her other hand to give a violent shove and twist motion to May's head. While against most people that move would be rather deadly, most trained fighters seem to have a way of negating most of the trauma.

May Lee's guard turns out to be pretty tough to break through. Ibuki goes down to slip beneath her legs, and May Lee's leg goes with her.
Catching the ninja in the gut, May Lee pivots upwards, and flings her leg (along with Ibuki) out behind her with a loud shout of:
"Blazing Intercept!"
After which she spins around, and plants her foot down firmly on the ground. She's smiling from ear to ear, and bounces on the spot after her lashing kick has connected, and she's left with a few feet of distance between herself and her opponent.
"JUSTICE is an impenetrable guard!" She declares, giving Ibuki a big thumbs up, and causing her scarf to flutter behind her dramatically. "Master Kim taught me that!"
There's absolutely no arrogance in the girl's bearing, though. Even if she does feel pretty proud of herself for managing to intercept the ninja's attack (and it really was a close run thing!), she's just genuinely excited to be here, and that overwhelming enthusiasm is evident in every part of her bearing and speech.
Ibuki finds her move already being countered as she tries to slip past the other girl's legs only to find her body painfully making contact with leg. Then being kick flung backwards. Disheartening but not so much so to put her off her game...
Using the momentum of the gut kickfling, Ibuki rolls to stand on the balls of her feet. Drawing kunai from on her person she continues sliding back for a half second in that position. From the crowds a, "Squee!" is heard and Ibuki can't help but grin, at least if nothing else Don-chan is cheering her on while she's getting kicked around.
"I don't know about that, everyone has a weakpoint." Ibuki says thoughtfully as she stands up at full speed, her arms already arcing for a throw. "We'll see who's Master is more right!" As blades sing through the air streaming faint trails of bluish energy in their wake.

May Lee raises her hand to try and catch the blade out of the air, like a true Tokusatsu Hero would!
The kunai stabs right into the back of her hand.
"GYAAAAAAH!" The poor girl squeals, jumping up into the air, she flails for a moment before she lands, and, gingerly, she tugs the weapon out of one hand with the other. "Owowowowow! That really smarts!" She cries, tears welling up in her eyes. Do you really think that will be enough to make Champion of Justice May Lee give up, though?!
As quickly as she can recover, she takes a deep breath. "Nnngh... a hero doesn't give up just because things get tough!" She says, steeling herself. With a sudden burst of speed, her scarf streams out behind her and her feet beat out a staccato rythm against the ground. Bright lights reflect in her goggles and her tear-stained eyes as she throws herself into it with all her might, her injured hand leading the way with a mighty cry of.
"PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!"
Because punching is the iconic taekwondo move, right?

Ibuki feels a half second of regret for using kunai against the girl but then again to not use her kunai would be holding back!
"I know, you get used to getting hit with them after a while though. You'll be fine in no time." Ibuki reassures the Taekwondo artist, "I'll make a deal with you, the person that gets less beaten up will treat the other person to a meal here!" She smiles widely, "I hear there are some great steak places in town!" Wait was she saying she was going to treat May Lee to steaks or that May Lee would be doing so for her?
The chuckle in her voice after the offer dies as May Lee comes streaking at her ready to shove her fist down Ibuki's throat. Ibuki's eyes widen for a moment before as the punch looks like it is going to connect with Ibuki's face bloody fist and all and then suddenly Ibuki just isn't there...instead she's to May Lee's immediate right hand side.
Her leg muscles tensing as suddenly she springs forward on the ball of one foot giving upward momentum as her other leg swings back and then quickly back forwards as her foot rockets towards May's chin. Ibuki let's out a roar of "Kazekiri!" As she regardless of contact or not lifts off the ground with a massive dragon kick!

"Deal!"
May Lee seems to have cheered right up after the initial shock of being stabbed right in the hand. Now that she's back in the fight rather than freaking out and bleeding everywhere, she seems to be getting her energy back. Heck, the wound isn't even all that bad; it looked much more worrying than it actually was!
When Ibuki isn't where May Lee thought, the girl looks momentarily surprised. "... Huh." She says. And then suddenly she's aware of motion to her side! To her credit, May Lee doesn't quite panic, but she does twist to the side, and her eyes go very wide indeed as Ibuki's foot passes within inches of her face. Her expression is almost as shocked and wide-eyed as the frog on her shirt! O_O!
She doesn't want to attack when Ibuki is in the air, though. That's totally not heroic at all. Instead, it isn't until the ninja touches down on the ground again that May Lee lunges into action. Both hands come up over her head, and she brings her arms down with as much force as she can muster; a blur left streaking in the air behind her as she carves a mighty arc down through the air, aiming to crash right onto Ibuki's shoulder, with a loud and fearsome:
"CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPU!"

Pleased that the other girl seems to already have gotten her energy back, Ibuki smiles beneath her mask.
Ibuki grits her teeth moments later though as her foot goes sailing past its target without any collision at all. She lands knowing that a follow up attack will be coming there is no doubt in her head that such will happen it's just a question of what form it will take. Which is why when Ibuki lands, she's already rolling to one side...
Unfortunately for the ninja May Lee is very quick herself and manages to bring down both her hands on the edge of her shoulder the blow hammering in then bouncing off before it did more than really jar the heck out of the socket. The ninja for her part was lucky not to wind up with a dislocated shoulder though it hurts almost as bad as one. "This is going to hurt!" Ibuki mutters to herself.
Ibuki attempts to grab the hands that just slammed into her shoulder, pull forward on them, stand up, jab her shoulder into May Lee's armpit and finally use the momentum to hurl the Taekwondo artist to the ground, "Gah!!!" The strain on her abused shoulder hurts enough to bring tears to her own eyes and draw out the pained groan whether she pulls off the move perfectly or not!

May Lee does her best to duck backwards, but she's just a little too slow and she winds up beind hurled onto the ground. She hits it pretty hard and is jarred, but she's not staying down just yet! Though she's definitely starting to feel the burn, she's got a long way to go before she's down, and she's sure that Ibuki has got a lot more in her too!
Getting up again isn't very graceful, as she has to roll forwards from a lay down start. But she does come up, and she comes up jumping! The girl's foot is brought around in a simple and practiced kick aiming right for Ibuki's head, whether or not the poor ninja is groaning and crying. May Lee herself is smiling all over again, even with her head ringing and her body protesting at her for continuing with this madness.

Ibuki gets a heads up a kick is coming as May Lee rolls and jumps upwards then the yell of 'KIIIIIIIIICKU!' is issued. It's thanks to this that Ibuki snaps out of rubbing her tender shoulder after that last hit and swivels to the left, letting May Lee whiz past her and somewhat lining up the next shot perfectly for the ninja girl. She'd used a lot of her best stuff right away and with May Lee either hard blocking, turning it on her, or just avoiding her blows it had worn her down a bit too but that didn't mean she had nothing left...oh no!
"Tora!!!" She roars suddenly as her feet slam down into a wide stance and Ibuki throws a palm strike at May Lee's exposed kidney as she steps into the attack to add extra force to the blow. Thankfully this move is a lot less of a strain on that shoulder though the shock of a strike is still probably going to make Ibuki grit her teeth from the sting if nothing else!

May Lee does her best to twist to the side of the blow, which she does see coming... but she just isn't quick enough! The palm strike punches right into her kidney and she lets out a choked gasp, stumbling back three paces before she can manage to recover her footing. She shakes her head quickly, "Nngh. Okay! Prepare yourself!" She declares, sportingly letting Ibuki know that she's going to do something dramatic.
She is then driving forwards with her fist, head down, knuckles leading the way and bright electricity flaring up behind her as she throws everything she has into a desperate offense, intending to break Ibuki's gathering momentum...!

May Lee's fist punches hard into Ibuki's stomach, and the next moment, her foot is meeting the ninja's chin. Somersaulting away from the girl, she flips, and kicks upwards to send Ibuki high, high into the air.
May Lee doesn't seem to be paying attention to her opponent any more, though. Instead she's looking at the closest camera, smiling brightly as her scarf flies behind her, and her arm comes up to point gloved fingers into sky.
"May Lee... THE END!"
And with that, there's a huge explosion all around Ibuki as her chi detonates, the bright flare echoing across the entire area and briefly outshining even the neon signs to paint the whole place bright orange.
And the crowd goes wild!
"Squee?!?!?!" Don squeals from the sidelines as though he senses what's about to happen. Meanwhile, Ibuki is glad she's finally turning things around, she's been on the losing side of most of these exchanges the entire fight but she'd turned things to her advantage finally! Though the squeal and the warning cause the ninja girl to narrow her eyes as she tries to figure out what's coming her way....Ibuki shifts left trying to get around the attack before it lands.
This, however, is not meant to be as the next thing she knows she is flung into the air as her stomach is again hammered for the third time in the match. Part of Ibuki's mind wonders if somehow May Lee was psychic and was tendering up her stomach so she'd not be able to eat later on? But that thought is lost in a sea of pain as chi flares around her in a explosion of eletrifying light. As Ibuki falls back to the earth smoking smashing into a car and falling through the roof and blowing out all the car's windows...sadly it was not a convertible before this incident.
For a few long seconds there is no movement at all from the car...then a shadow erupts from within, speeding along and then up a nearby stop light pole. The shadow doesn't slow as it reaches the top of the light, it keeps climbing higher and higher and then when it seems to reach just above the neon lights it spins back to face May Lee...
Unlike May Lee, Ibuki gives no call and no warning, it just begins as a single kunai falls short of where May Lee stands and then a hard rain of the chi imbued blades fall from the sky blotting out the light of the city as they fall earthward towads their target. This is the way of the ninja...silence and absolute destruction of their assigned target, though if she misses it's going to wreck up a lot of the area around it!

May Lee is pretty sure she's downed Ibuki. After all, the attack is called THE END! It goes against the grain to keep fighting after that!
But she *hasn't* finished Ibuki off. Not at all! As the Kunai falls into the ground near her, May Lee lets out a startled gasp, and has just enough time to draw her arms over her as the world is suddenly full of lots of those sharp glowing kunai.
When it finishes, May Lee is still standing, but she's definitely breathing hard. Her brow glistens with sweat, sticking her blue hair to her face, and she wipes herself with the back of her gloved hand. "Phew!" She exclaims, "That was really close!"
She starts to look around again, obviously pretty confused with the silence and the devastation. "... Hey, Ibuki!" She calls, "You're still out there, right?"
When she does spot the ninja, way up above, she smiles from ear to ear, and waves one bloodied arm up at the ninja. "HEY! Come down here so I can hit you some more!" She laughs, obviously joking as she works some life back into her limbs and gives a little laugh, bouncing from foot to foot again. "This is a heck of a work out!"

Ibuki has a moment of pure panoramic bliss as the view from up there is breathtaking, the city, the desert, and the nearby mountains, all clash but at the same time meld into one another. Truly and amazing sight...
Then gravity begins to take hold of her and Ibuki begins to head back to the land where she belongs, it is at this point that she slams both her fists together, takes a deep breath, and finds the place deep within herself that burns with the need to prove to herself all those long hours training were worth it and not some sort of cruel joke to make her not a normal girl. She closes her eyes and lets the wind whip past her...
Ibuki's eyes snap open and with a impressive show of acrobatics and sheer dexterity, Ibuki springs off a neon sign, on handed grabs a light pole, spins around it once, and then flips through the air to land safely on her feet, as she begins to take up her fighting stance again and her eyes practically glow with her desire to win while she lets out a puff of hot breath.
She grins at her opponent, "I'm not done with you yet either, we still have to decide who's treating who!" She winks.

The taekwondo fighter smiles as Ibuki makes her way back to the ground, and she nods her head seriously. "Yes! Lets finish this quickly so we can get to a steak dinner!" May Lee declares brightly, and again she straightens herself up, and she even gives Ibuki a light salute! Snapping her hand forwards...
And she's off again! This time, she rushes in as hard and as fast as she can manage, and her hand is brought around with her. "Final finishing move!" She announces for the benefit of the audience, trusting her sense of the dramatic to make sure that this is the case... (Warning, May Lee's sense of the dramatic may not bear much resemblence to reality).
"ULTIMATE!"
"SUPAH!"
"CHOOOOOOPU!"
One hand comes around as she spins, and she aims to bring the flat of her hand sharply up against Ibuki's neck. Her super final finishing move! If she doesn't finish it now, her gut tells her that she's going to be in serious trouble (and in receipt of a free steak dinner!)

Ibuki's arm is already moving as the chop is coming for her forearm meeting the flat of May's hand instead followed immediately by Ibuki's fist striking the other side of her forearm to help brace the arm and absorb a bit more of the impact. Dust flys from the area of the blow on Ibuki's arm as it cleans off debris from her traumatic connection with the car earlier, "Finishing move? Gotta do a little better than that!" Ibuki grins.
Ibuki springs backwards away from May Lee, a Kunai drawn and hurled hopefully the Taekwondo artist will think it's meant for her and react totally wrongly to it, either way this is her finishing move most likely, "One last try Don-chan!" Ibuki roars as another of those squealed cries comes from the crowd! If it's blocked or dodged thats all there is to this attack though if it hits May Lee's shadow as intended that's an entirely different story altogether.

As the blade slips past May Lee's defenses it sinks deep into the pavement and the girl's shadow. May Lee now finds herself in a suddenly horrible place, as she just can't move...not a muscle, not even a twitch, it is like being sealed in a cast iron suit. All she can do is watch as though in slow motion but it only seems to apply to Ibuki as everyone else moves normally...
But what's weird is there isn't one Ibuki, not two, or even three, there are seven of them all rushing this way and that around May Lee and then suddenly they turn as one and approach with blinding speed even in this slow motion state, all bearing kunai in one hand, slice, one connects, slash, another, more and more cuts fall, and then finally they all strike together from different angles but the blows are very real this isn't an illusion or a trick of the eyes there has to be /7/ Ibuki's coming from different directions as the pain from those final blows in simultaneous...
Then the flash second is gone and May Lee can move fine and there is only one Ibuki standing a few feet behind her with a blood soaked Kunai, "That's a finishing move!" Ibuki says with a chirp and wink to May Lee over her shoulder.
May Lee isn't really sure that she could accurately describe what just happened to her. It is dizzying, this strange and bizarre place that she winds up inhabiting. It hurts a heck of a lot too! She's bloodied bruised and battered by the time she comes back to reality, and she can feel herself starting to fall over. Her eyes are closing... this is it!
*No May Lee*
"What? Kim... I'm sorry Master Kim, I can't fight any more..."
*You can!*
"No, I can't."
*You can, as long as you believe that you can! Justice never falls! So get up, May Lee! Get up!*
Outside of May Lee's head, in the real world it looks as though May Lee is mumbling to herself as she drops towards the pavement. Babbling and burbling because Ibuki has completely knocked the sense out of her. AND THEN!
"DYYYYYYYYNAAAAAAAAAAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!"
The shout is accompanied by May Lee just flinging herself bodily at Ibuki, and dramatically...!

Ibuki lets out a sigh as May Lee starts to fall and she thinks, 'Well Don-chan it looks like I'm buying tonight!' Her stance starts to go slack thinking herself safe even if May Lee launches herself at her, there just wasn't much fuel in either of their tanks at this point in the fight, it wouldn't connect...she couldn't make that sort of distance...

'Wait..whu!' Is Ibuki's thought as her mind processes flying May Lee with leg out stretched. Thankfully years and years of training the body to react without the concscious mind necessarily being involved in the decision kicks in and Ibuki is moving by springing backwards towards May Lee...
The two girls pass each other in mid air and then May Lee says hello to the ground with her face while Ibuki lands on her heels in a crouch before standing up straight, "I'm so texting Sarai about that move later!" She then waves over to the crowd and a Tanuki springs forth to scale her like a tree then cling to her shoulder, "Gah! Don-chan not the shoulder, at least not that one!" She whines as the Tanuki titters a little bit before moving to the other one.
"Come on Don, we gotta get May Lee some medical care...then it's steak time." She chuckles as she goes with the medics that pick May Lee up and take her to the after match recovery tent.
