Description: Karin gets beat up by a thug with a knife. That's the story, as Intan would probably tell.
The things that happen when you're in Southtown can be quite disgusting sometimes. There's always been a dark picture of the city that it tries to hide, but everyone can tell its there. The best thing that anyone can do is learn to defend themselves, and fend off anyone who thinks they can take you.
Karin Kanzuki is one such girl, whose foot has just finished smashing into the jaw of some thug who thought he could take the pretty rich girl. She hmphs and says, "Tch, idiot commoners... Do you think you can just put a knife to Karin Kanzuki and get away with it? Hmph." She proceeds to turn and walk away from the fallen thug, and makes her way back to the main road, "Tch... Ishizaki wasn't supposed to go far..."
Another girl, looking to be from the indonesian archipelago, was not too far away. She'd been suspicious of the thug, and following him to see if he would commit any crimes. When he did, the poor thug's target was less helpless than he had hopes. Intan watched the fight from nearby, trying to stay out of side. Once the fight was over however, the girl came into sight. "Well done." She says softly, offering Karin a faint smile. "Would you like to have a little spar?"
Karin blinks a moment when she hears the challenge to a spar, and turns her head to look to the girl who spoke up, and arches an eyebrow, "A spar?" She hmmms a little, and takes a moment to fix her gloves a bit, and replies, "If you insist on challenging me, I suppose I can oblige you." She smiles and turns as she brushes a couple of locks of hair out of in front of her eyes, "Never let it be said that Karin Kanzuki isn't generous! OHOHOHOHO!" She brings a hand to her mouth to cover it as she laughs, THAT LAUGH.

Intan grins faintly as she steps back, suddenly drawing a pair of ritual knives from her sheathes. "Karin Kanzuki. My name is Intan, and I hope that you won't forget this encounter." She says, confidently now as she makes a backflips, letting go of those knives mid-flight before catching them again, "I want to make a name for myself." She makes a few stabs in the air with those knives, "And what better way than by giving people who can fight a good fight?"

Karin narrows her eyes a bit when she sees the knives being drawn, and shifts he stance some on reflex, as she says, "If you're going to use those weapons, I might be put at a bit of a disadvantage for 'just a spar'." She smirks a bit and says, "If you want a good fight, then I'll go all out for you." She had not encountered too many serious fighters who made use of weapons, so she had to be extra careful in this case.
With that, Karin proceeds to charge in quick, and drives a palm out at Intan's chest, "GUREN KEN!" Followed by a second palm, before dropping down to finish with a sliding kick, "Daisokubarai!"

"I don't tend to fight unarmed, sorry." Intan responds to Karin, a smirk on her face as she notices the movements. While Karin certainly wasn't bad, Intan seems to be fast enough to leap out of the way of the attack, put one of those knives between her teeth, and draw a third, less ornate one to throw at Karin, giving the attack a slight curve in mid-air. She then proceeds to remove the Kris from her mouth, "Dodge." It was a suggestion, nothing more really.

As with all suggestions that come from opponents, Karin has a tendency to ignore them. Not the best of ideas in this case, as she reflexively draws her arms up shifts her position in order to not get hit. Karin winds up getting a throwing knife driven into her left arm, at which she grits her teeth, steeling herself rather than letting herself cry out in pain. The wound only serves to make Karin more unyielding.
Karin reaches to the knife and grits her teeth as she pulls it out of her arm, groaning painfully as she does, before flinging it away. She sucks in a breath before dashing once more, making a point to duck a bit as she aims to grab onto Intan's body, and twists her body around in order to slam Intan down into the ground, "HAA!"

Seeing the kris hit its target, Intan prepares for the inevitable counterattack. With Karin's throw coming, the Indonedian girl steels herself and prepares to roll with the blow, greatly reducing the amount of actual wounds inflicted. "Not bad." She states from the ground, rising up and immediately following that up by jumping up and flipping mid-air, her feet aiming to collide with Karin's shoulders just before her hands would follow, aiming to jab with those ritual daggers, aiming at pressure points to weaken Karin.

Karin gets back up from the ground in time to see Intan leap at her, and narrows her eyes a bit, and pivots a bit to put herself in a more advantageous position. It doesn't look like all that much until Karin reaches up and catches Intan by the ankle and with both hands twists and flings the Indonesian fighter to the ground with that easy motion.
Karin then shifts her position and turns to face her opponent again, "Of course I'm good. I'm Karin Kanzuki, and I win in everything." She says her family motto without the arrogant tone that would normally come with it. It instead sounds just confident and competitive.
Thrown to the ground, Intan recognizes flashy moves like that shouldn't be repeated too often. Too risky against a quality fighter like this. "Let me be the one to change that." She answers to the motto, getting up again in a swift movement and rushing past Karin, her right Kris being used to lash out at Karin's side just as she does so, the wound, if she makes one, is likely to remain bleeding for a while.

Karin narrows her eyes and tries to throw a series of punches at the same time as Intan comes at her, missing the other girl entirely, and only receiving a knife wound for her efforts. She grits her teeth and staggers, gripping her side for the moment, and growling angrily.
The punches are sadly not fast enough to prevent Intan from attacking. "Don't try to counter too much." Noticing Karin's weakness, The Indonesian girl moves to capitalize upon it. She rushes forward, and makes a few light slaehes aimed at Karin's shoulders. It should hurt, but more importantly, it should sap some of Karin's energy. "Be careful."

Karin does seem to be a sitting duck on the ground, at least until she suddenly bursts back to her feet and blocks the incoming slash with both hands, with blood dropping from her palm from catching a bit of the blade with her hand. Her hair is a bit of a mess now, not really from getting thrown around as much as from the fight as a whole. Behind the locks of hair, there's a fire in her eyes that doesn't seem to want to go out.
Karin lets out a roar and tries to grip Intan, and proceeds to drive her knee into the girl's gut, three times over before trying to trip her and fling her back to the ground.

Karin grabs Intan and drives her knee into the Indonesian girl's gut several times, and Intan lets it happen. In fact, Intan grins faintly as it happens, a mischievous grin that suggests she's up to something. An in fact, as soon as an opening seems to appear, Intan abuses the proximity and lashes out with surprising speed, her two knives being used to attempt to stab Karin over and over in an assault that just doesn't seem to end. Until it does, of course.

Karin goes wide eyed as the second knife comes into her sight, but rather than falter, she plants her feet into the ground and lets the knifing assault happen. The Kanzuki heiress gets slashed up all over her body, causing her red school uniform to get shredded up. When Intan finally lets up, Karin stands there breathing for a moment breathing heavily, before grabbing at her own shirt and rips the shredded thing off, now standing in a black sports belly tanky top thing, also revealing all the cuts along her body thanks to this assault.
Karin then shifts her stance and roars, as she proceeds to use the very close distance to begin her own relentless assault, driving her strikes at Intan, a series of palms, swinging upward elbows and ending with a kick that swings up and aims for Intan's jaw, "SHIN-PI-KAI-BYAKU!"

The series of attacks is intercepted with arms, minimizing the nonetheless sizable amount of damage dealt. Intan grits her teeth as she tries to think up a response while she is under attack. The Indonesian girl is ready for her counterattack as the assault ends, lashing out very quickly with one of those two daggers before taking a leap back. "Not bad at all." She comments.

Karin growls and darts forward to try once more to strike at Intan multiple times with Guren Ken, but only succeeds in getting stabbed at once again, while Intan manages to jump the hell out of the way. Karin grits her teeth, and grips the additional wound, but begins to move, ready to strike again, "Don't get your hopes up..." She blinks a moment, as she begins to lose focus, and mumbles, "I'm Karin Kanzuki, and... I win... At... Every--" She trails off when she blacks out from the blood loss, collapsing to the ground.

With Karin passed out, Intan places a quick anonymous call to the hospital before moving away. She doesn't think Karin is -too- badly wounded, and with the thug nearby, it could be explained easily as a thug attack... of course, Intan doesn't feel like waiting for the hospital people to arrive as she goes to find a place to get herself patched up a little as well.
