Description: Following the thrashing that Balrog gave her, Ibuki decides to pay a visit to the man she feels responsible to teach Sagat a lesson. Tracking him to a hut in Thailand the ninja girl gives it her all to beat the message into Sagat's hide...unfortunately she might've just stepped into the tiger's den and her sharp tongue might land her in a much more serious fight than she'd planned.
It is strange how the world works sometimes. In this case things all seem to be going to hell in a handbasket due to the strange cult that has made themselves known during the time of the current King of Fighters tournament. On top of that Shadaloo itself keeps pressing forward with their own agenda to win the tournament in hopes that in turn they will be able to meet this supposed master all the people worship. But in a day like this in the small hut that Sagat lives in and stays at when he needs peace of mind it feels like all that trouble is millions of miles away. He may as enjoy it while he can. He doesn't know what the near future holds and as strong as he is it could be his final days.
'Make sure no one bothers us when we fight. That worm Kyo will probably be there'. The last orders he was given by Vega still keep playing through the old man's mind. He almost does hope Kyo shows up. Perhaps that slacker might finally show that he deserves to be part of the Kusanagi clan. Not to mention getting to fight someone like him will allow Sagat to gauge how well he is still performing. He needs to stay in top shape just in case Ryu shows up. The wanderer could very well be there to meet the force that seems intent on destroying everything.
With a slight low chuckle he shakes his head and he emerges from the small shack, ducking low to clear the doorway and then he straightens back up. He supposes he better get a move on before Vega grows impatient. The fight is still a day or two away, but the large warrior can just set up camp there and wait. Maybe he will get lucky and some of the cultists will show too and he can show them the might of a true god.
It'd taken time and effort to find this place...the lair of the tiger she'd been chasing since that masked and clawed goon had attacked her and nearly sliced her to pieces. The greatest majority had been taking the time to recover a bit from wounds that'd been inflicted on her but thankfully none had been life threatening, that is not to say they weren't gruesome and painful though! Although the Spanish ninja had cut up most of her body he'd at least left her face alone...she had to thank some higher power for small favors it could've been much much worse.
During her fight with Balrog she'd learned he was there for some reason related to Cammy and that someone had ordered it done. The fact that Cammy had mentioned a guy that was a bit intensely interested in her as this guy had been let Ibuki put two and two together that he belonged to Shadaloo. From there it was easy to figure out whom had sent him...either it was Vega or it was Sagat who had tried to intimidate her away from Cammy. The ninja grits her teeth at the thought, Vega from all she'd have heard would've been way more direct and clear who was behind it if he'd wanted to give her a bad day like that...thus that left the cyclops.
Following that revelation she'd been merely returning the favor of tracking him down to his 'home' like he'd done to her in Southtown. Slinking through the vegetation surrounding Sagat's hut, ignoring some of the biting insects, the heat, the humidity, and the slightly stuffy air. When Sagat emerged looking slightly amused that's all it takes to set the ninja teen off, "It seems like it takes a while to find a beast in its lair anymore...but I finally found the stupidly proud tiger!" Ibuki says emerging from the brush near the hut.
She's already in a fighting stance, kunai drawn...but she looks the worse for the wear, her clothes are a bit shreded here and there, it looks like she's been impaled slightly above the gut missing all the vital organs but it probably hurts like heck. Her wounds are bandaged at least the lack of discernable blood on them makes it clear the girl has had a bit of time to heal up after her beating, "I think we need to have a chat Tiger boy!"
If he had known of the ninja's presence outside he did well in pretending he didn't notice. That slight grin of his fades and the brow above his single eye raises as he looks about then finally notices Ibuki. He had not really expected the ninja to travel such a long distance and to come out here. Odd how people just love to visit him in the times he just wants to clear his head. The bandages and tattered clothes aren't lost on him either. He hadn't heard from Balrog in quite some time, but it seems he finally did act on the request. Perhaps he went a bit too far. He might have to exchange words with Balrog when the next meet.
Where she is ready to fight Sagat seems intent to just stand where he is. Does he truely not fear the young ninja? Or maybe he is just seeing if she is bluffing and is calling her out on it. "A bit worse for wear, but you live. And you are stronger." Yeah, this whole trying to be a good guy thing? Someone should tell Sagat he should change his tactics about to where he doesn't get the people he is trying to teach killed.
He turns about and he waves a hand as to motion her to follow him as he starts to lumber away from his shack. "What is you want?" he asks while not seeming to spare a glance over his shoulder back towards the ninja. "Do you feel it in the air too? The strange energy that seems to be covering this world? Something big is happening soon. Are you prepared?"
The rough looking ninja girl glares at the former Muay Thai Emperor. Her stance adjusting as he moves, it appears she is very much hostile at the moment or at the very least expecting some sort of attack, like Balrog ready to spring from somewhere to engage in round 2 with her. Her eyes narrow a bit more as Ibuki takes a small step to the right and slightly forward, edging closer to Sagat. As he speaks up she grits her teeth in irritation with him before she composes her thoughts.
"Worse for wear? That's what you call this? What's nearly killed for you?" She rages at the big man in front of her, "Permanent lasting scars across large parts of your body or losing something permanently?!!!" She flicks her eyes from his scarred chest to his missing eye. She then snorts, "Stronger....I'd rather do that on my own terms than have someone else make me get strong how they want me to." Ibuki seems unafraid of Sagat...or at least unafraid to speak her mind to him whether he gets upset or not!
She cocks her head to the side in thought of how best to respond to Sagat's questions an annoyed look then plants itself on her features, "Something weird is going on...I've seen it for myself but I figure at this point someone is trying to stop it, someone way better informed than me on it. Right now it doesn't matter if I'm prepared for it or not...I've come here to beat some sense into you, you giant one-eyed tiger jerk!" She takes another step closer, "Are you prepared for that?!"
He does not seem upset despite the fact she is yelling at him in such a manner. He just comes to a stop on his walk. "Someone is going to stop it. Or perhaps even more than one someone." he responds and he turns about to face her once again. His massive arms fold over his chest as he looks down at her. He still doesn't seem ready to fight even if she is at this point. Instead there is a more contemplative look upon his features right now.
"I'm am going to be one of the ones to stop whatever is going on." If it is a joke he certainly can keep one hell of a straight face. Probably not someone you would want to play in poker at any rate. "For me it is a way to atone for what has been done in the past and by the time things are over I will no longer be part of Shadaloo." he tells her and he lifts a hand to rub at his chin as if thinking about something. "So why are you really here? I don't have much time to talk before I depart. I do not want to be late for the battle that will happen."
Ibuki stares at Sagat for a moment quietly, her eyes locked onto him. Her eyebrow raised in a bit of curiousity in response to the Tiger's comment as she's not exactly sure what he means by it at first. Then as he turns and continues speaking his meaning fully dawns on her and she frowns beneath her mask. She stands looking down at the ground and slowly puts away her kunai...
She stands motionless and quietly in the face of Sagat's words and then in that stillness she finally speaks up, "No...you're not...not before I settle this with you. Your life and goals aren't more important than mine, you interferred with me and expect no reprocussions at all since you're Sagat...is that it?" She growls and launches forward with speed that could rival Cammy's....
Her body streaking through the space between them, one hand seeking the arm of the hand stroking Sagat's chin while the other seeks his trunks to complete her grip, "Not this time, you are going to pay!" If her grip finds him true, her muscles surge as she tries to dead lift the giant over her head, through the air, and forcibly make him meet terra firma again in the most painful way possible!

The giant just shakes his head. "I never said they were, but if you insist to attack me now then by all means. It might be the last chance you get." he tells her and he makes no move to attack just yet. Instead he seems intent on letting the ninja rush him head on and go to grab him. His body tenses some as he finds himself getting lifted. So much anger in this gir it would seem. He can only hope it doesn't consume her like it has him all too many times. An anger that has left him a fallen emporer and sullied his name by joining Shadaloo. He hits the ground hard and he lays there for a moment as he takes a deep breath.
That is when he starts to sit up and that single eye opens again. "Very well. It seems you do have quite a bit of fight in you despite the injuries." he says while standing at his full height again. He still looks not ready to fight, but that changes in an instant. He may be large, but his own speed is deceptive. The kick he performs is just a very quick snap kick. One to perhaps put some distance between himself and the ninja as he aims to drive his foot into the stomach of Ibuki.

"You implied it!" Ibuki roars a bit annoyed at the giant, "By your very attitude since I got here." Her fighting stance changing as she slams him into the ground as she recovers, it wasn't easy lifting the big guy after all, "You think too highly of yourself...a bit more humility would be best!" She seethes at Sagat while he slowly picks himself up off the ground.
The attack is coming at her fast and quite dangerously as the giant quickly launches his leg at her with the goal of his foot in her gut. The ninja glares as she whips her right arm around and tries to smash the blow away from her body with a strong forearm block, which she manages but the blow was masssive and she could feel her teeth chattering from the impact of that kick. "Glad you're taking me seriously finally." She quips.
She then drops her down low, kicking off with the ball of her foot to launch forward, attempting to slide between the giant's legs, if she can manage that she pivots on the heel of her other foot and redirects her momentum upwards to try and wrap her arms around Sagat's neck and then give a massive twist...most skilled fighters know some trick to minimize the damage but hopefully it'd at least surprise him a great deal!

All he can think about is how much the girl really has left to learn. He isn't even sure what to say in responds to her just for the fact it seems she truely isn't listening. He really had no intention of really fighting here. He had a long hard road ahead of him to begin with and even if Ibuki is still rather raw of a fighter she is quick enough that she might give the cyclops more trouble than he feels like dealing with at the moment. Case in point is when she manages to wiggle her way around him and eventually she has the fun of trying to twist about that large neck of his. To be fair she does a good job at it in this case and while it doesn't take Sagat off his feet he certainly is starting to look annoyed.
"I am unsure if you should be talking about humility at the moment." he tells her and before she can try to get away it seems that this time it is the former emporer that is grasping for Ibuki so he can hold her up overhead and then toss her away with a bit of a grunt. "If you want to fight do not prattle on about things you don't know anything about. The last thing I need is to be nagged by a teenager before the end of the world."

Twisting the neck seemed to have worked well on him, she smirks as she takes him off his feet again. The girl is a bit satisfied with that she might have courage and was prone to smack talk but she was fully aware of whom she was fighting and the fact that she was most likely going to lose...but that didn't matter the principal of the thing was what she wanted to get across to him. That he wasn't responsible for her and that while he could advise her trying to /make/ her do things was a bad bad bad idea.
"Why do you say that? Because I'm not afraid to get my butt handed to me to make my point!" As if to further her point she is grabbed and flung like an old rag...she saw it coming and she tried to roll with it to line up her shot for her next attack more perfectly...unfortunately that seemed to have failed as she slams into the ground and the air is taken out of her for a moment as she shakes her head to gather her wits.
"You did the same to me Tiger boy...you made assumptions and told me to make a choice." She glares at him, "I made that choice, you didn't like it, and then I get beaten up...you are not the person that gets to decide things for others /Former/ Emperor!!!" She then springs at him again one hand poised behind her as she aims straight for his ribs right next to his scar a massive surge of bluish light evenlops her hand as she tries to slam the equivalent of a exploding chi shiv into his innards!

The old man might not just get it. His life growing up was much different. He knew his destiny and there was very little needed in the choices that he makes. Perhaps that is why he doesn't fully understand how other people don't want his so called 'help' when he offers it. Of course if she really was looking to rile Sagat it seems that Ibuki just managed to do so. Not so much the words, but the fact she thinks it is a good idea to go after the massive scar. Not like she could damage the flesh there more than it already has, but it seems the larger fighter does not enjoy the fact she is going for it.
Just as her hand is touching at the skin of Sagat there is a sting in her jaw. Her brain might be thrown into chaos from that moment on for a few moments. Mostly because that sting is the first thing felt of the massive fist that connects with the chin of Ibuki as Sagat thrusts his arm upwards. He seems to put all his weight intot he strike as he leaps upwards and then lands on both feet rather gracefully. "Make no mistake. I have not taken that title back for a reason." he tells her while rolling his shoulders and cricking his neck. "Simply I have become much more. I am the God of Muay Thai." His eye remains narrowed and he remains ready to fight if Ibuki really wishes to continue. It seems she finally has his attention and if he wasn't being serious previously it certainly seems that he is now.
Ibuki feels her jaw already rattling from the blow as it connects and sends her skyward and there is a moment of blind chaos as not only does she fail to hammer home but she manages to keep her presence of mind to control her trajectory a bit as she uses her hands to push off of Sagat's fist and propel herself at one of the nearby trees....the intervening seconds of the trip from fist to tree she is a bit punch drunk, blood is filling her mouth and she's having to swallow it back down so Sagat doesn't get any satisfaction out of just how hard he'd hit her...
She connects with the tree but not how she should have, her hands grab it, she spins around it as though it were a pole using the momentum from the hit and her flight to swing, before she plants her feet on the tree looking vaguely like a frog for half a moment before she flies at the Giant at screaming speeds.
"Self-proclaimed!" She roars, "Have you earned it!!!" Ibuki continues as she tries to drive her elbow right into Sagat's chest above his heart, "Yoroi Doushi!!!" Bluish energy swirls around the two of them in a large ball if the elbow lands then she would use her other hand covered in the same luminous energy as the attack Sagat interrupted to slam into her waiting palm transfering the like a funnel into a very precise point, ending with a massive blast of chi energy that'll hopefully send the Muay Thai expert flying and burn his skin a bit for her trouble!!

There is a light quirk of the lips. So there does seem to be some fight still left in the girl. She certainly has potential to be rather formidable. Her question seems to also shift what Sagat may have had planned. At first it looks like he might have actually been looking to strike back when she comes in again, but both feet end up planted firmly on the ground and he takes a deep breath as he remains still and prepared for impact. For Ibuki it is like slamming her hand against a wall of solid stone. A bit of a grunt comes from the former emporer, but the force of impact maybe skidded him back an inch or two back.
"Yes." is all he says in reply. There may be no verbal explanation to it all, but there is certainly a physical one. A quick lunge forward and a large knee brought upwards to bury itself hard against the chest of the ninja to knock the wind out of her. He is letting this go far longer than he wanted. He had hoped the last attack would have given her a hint, but it seems she is as stubborn as he is at times when in a fight. Somehow he supposes he wouldn't want it any other way.

"Gah!" That was a hard hard block and it really really really stung but it doesn't deterr Ibuki...no she is going to drive a point home if it costs her some serious recovery time. Gritting her teeth as she lands after rebounding off the giant she shakes her head still swallowing some blood that was trying to come up her mouth she knew this wasn't going well for her but still she knew something as well it'd probably stung him to block that shot...at least she hoped it had.
Before she can even respond to his quick reply his leg is coming right at her chest and she tries to leap up and over the kick....this plan fails as the kick lands in her stomach the force of the blow forcing blood from her mouth and almost her lunch as well as she goes crossed for a moment from the pain. But she grabs onto his leg with all her tenaciousness refusing to let go...as that bluish energy swirls around her body again.
"Not...yet..." She manages to wheeze out as she launches her fist outwards again to impale him on her elbow and attempt the same move she just had yet again. As for what the not yet means...it could mean she wasn't finished yet but much more likely she was saying he'd not yet earned that title he was claiming at least in her opinion.

It may have been a bit of a harder hit than he meant to deliver, but it might just drive the point home that he is done entertaining the ninja now. He may not be as psychotic and bloodthirsty as Balrog, but Sagat at the same time certainly can be cruel. Much like how he just simply steps away from the grasping hand of the ninja and denying her of any sort of further retribution. "Don't become me." he tells her and he lets himself ease out of his fighting stance and just folds his arms over his chest again. "I was consumed by anger too many times. Don't let that happen to you."
He does give a nod of respect towards her and he turns about. It looks like he has no intentions of helping her right now even if she is injured. Trying to help her might only cause her to try and attack him again. He already has expended more energy than he wanted to. He might be in for a bit of trouble if he does have to fight Kyo or someone else of his strength if they show up to interrupt the finals. "I do respect you. Understand that. If I do not survive the upcoming days I hope you manage to grow stronger. If you see Quon tell him I am impressed by his improvement too." With that being said the cyclops moves on, his mind wandering as he tries to figure out just what is in store for him.

For her part, Ibuki is only vaguely conscious pain, injuries, and the agonizing fall to the earth combined to leave her in a state of rapidly blanking world as she falls into unconsciousness. While she hears Sagat's comment she manages to keep one eye open and staring at him not in hate nor respect...someday she was going to give him a challenge like he'd not had in a long time....she swore it to herself she was going to get her point across to him someday since she'd so obviously failed this time.
Then as he steps away the bloodied and fallen ninja passes out completely she'd done her best but so far Shadloo had done a serious number on her and she'd failed to put up more than a hint of resistance against it and a small part of her railed against that, but that part was in the minority to the more rational part deciding avoiding Shadaloo would be the best option for a while if she could manage it...then blackness.
