Description: Kazuki Kirigana is troubled by the changes in the sounds of his hometown. His fledgling investigation brings him to Southtown's Harbor district, and face-to-face with a victim of the the burgeoning Rage that is building across the globe: Antoine Huang.
The Harbor is prettty quiet. There aren't too many people around out now. This location that once doubled as the synicates trafficking business had been taken over. However, it is not taken over by any wild gangs or anything of that sort of nature. The people had fled when they saw a rampaging black man who had been rumored to have suffered a huge 'Nigga Moment'.
Rather odd.
At the docks of the harbor, the man is idly munching on a seagull's head. His body is hunched over as he takes several deep breaths. "Hgggghh...." Antoine is on both knees, gnawing on the head as the blood continues to run along the dock floor. As a puddle is formed, Antoine just rages.
.... Strong... fight. Must. Fight
Must. Fight.
Serve Him.
Kazuki Kirigana is not a member of the Syndicate. Quite the contrary, as a Gedo High alumni, the aikido prodigy had been a (very) small help in keeping SouthTown from becoming a base for organized criminal elements. Tonight, however, he is not here to do anything to any criminals.
Something, slowly, surely at times, and quick and violent at others, has moved across the globe. People giving into a great rage, hunts for certain fighters, and other bouts of insanity have sprung up like wildfire as disturbances in the world's chi-flow grow in frequency and intensity.
It has ruined the song of the city Kazuki calls home. Southtown no longer sounds right to his ears. He /hates/ it. Lately he has simply walked the streets, trying to ferret out the source of the disturbances. He has not had a great deal of luck, but has felt a slight... tug coming from the harbor district.
If the rest of Southtown simply sounded wrong, the Harbor District sounds obscene.
Someone is coming.
Antoine was distracted with the a meal. The animalistic nature of him is thinking of nothing but to kill and gnaw. Devour. That is the course of the meal. If he could see himself now, there would be so much shame. Just seeing himself behaving like a monstrous creature that he has become instead of the world wandering monk that he usually is. His teeth had been gnawing on that head until he finishes the 'meal'.
t...Or at least, he could, except.. Someone is coming.
The blood red eyes narrow when he turns to face the direction of the footsteps. His jaw opens, letting go of the dead seagull. The animalistic fighter is slowly staggering towards the path of the entrance.
...If Kazuki could see beyond the entrance, he would see a lumbering figure, who is practically dragging across the harbor. However, it really doesn't help that the docks had been abandoned.
Kazuki's eyes are those of a mere mortal. His ears, however, are something else entirely. He shudders as he hears the... /thing/ twisting at the young man's chi. His eyes narrow as he takes a half step in retreat in the face of what he is hearing.
He doesn't say anything at first, trying to steel himself to confront whoever it is that has apparently been troubling this district.
What was beneath the shadows was barely visible. It kept the presence obscure, for the most part. The crates bowl over as the figure lumbers through the dock. As the person draws closer from the dock, the ghastly appearance of the persn is now starting to be made known.
Through the chi.
The essence is rather sickening to feel, for those who can sense the chi. The venomous aura resonates across the air, the color slowly becoming visible with a dark brown hue. Through the shadows, the figure stalks.
Crimson eyes illuminate.
The glow from burning red eyes slowly fades, yet the crimson still remains. The tattered remains of the ebony man's clothes are marked. The breathing is guttal
"...Fiiiighht...."
"Me."
"Fight.... Me."
Kazuki frowns as he listens not just to Antoine's request, but to what the young man's chi. It repulses him. However, he cannot back down at this point; Kazuki doubts he would be able to outrun Antoine. Physical confrontation is something that Kazuki has been taught to do from a very young age. It's not that he cannot defend himself; fighting should simply be avoided through other means.
"I don't think that is a good idea," the Aikido Prodigy says in a calm, even voice. His stance is one of still readiness, but the rest of his body langauge is non-hostile. "You look like you need a doctor, not a fight. I might be able to help you with that." Kazuki has been to a few doctors who know about how chi can affect a person. He has kept in contact with them as they are interested in his somewhat unusual abilities. "And perhaps a good meal."
No.
It is a good idea. Fighting is good. Antoine must get stronger. He must obtain strength. He must seek the ultimate strength that is Chongquan! He must seek the ultimate strength that is to serve Master! He must get that strength. He must rend. He must tear....!
His head lowers for a moment. He is hunching over, growling as he is trying to gather himself. As his breathing becomes rougher...
The area around him becomes as red as the blood.
It flashes between he normal red and its color. When Antoine's vision finally becomes fully red, that uncontrollable rage creeps out. As he rears his head up into the air, he releases a howling scream before he reaches up to clutch into the air.
This time, blood gushes out as he grips to the air tightly. He's practically gargling the blood that is puked out.
He hunches over, glaring over towards Kazuki, "Ggggrrrrrrrrrgghhhh!"

Kazuki takes a half step back, shifting his center line away from Antoine. Kazuki flexes his hands slightly as he regards his soon-to-be opponent with a careful eye and critical ear. "Let's not do this," Kirigana says firmly. "I'd rather not have to fight you."
The surprising thing is, Kazuki is not simply saying that. He means it. Antoine seems like he'd be a nasty fight right now. Kazuki's greatest weakness is not really his slacker attitude, it is really his inability to make the first move in a fight.
Whether or not he will pay for that weakness tonight remains to be seen...

The Rage is one serious business. Antoine sought to deal with the other fighter through the only way that he can: Rending. As such, Antoine is going to rnd this other fighter.
The feral fighter charges towards the young student. THere is only red in his eyes. The red glow burns as he tears along the ground to get towards Kazuki. When he gets at the distance, he pounces from the ground to close the distance. He descends toards the young man, reaching his right hand towards the fighter's face. Should he get a good hold of him, Antoine is going to yank the man across the air with one arm.
"Graaaaaaaaa!"

Kazuki rolls with the grab, flipping neatly in the air to land roughly on his feet. Kirigana frowns as he settles his stance. "Please," he says calmly, "Stand down. Let's not make this worse than it has to be."
He's not sure that he wants to close with Antoine just yet, so he tries another tactic. Kazuki calls to his own song, bringing his hand back while focusing on his own chi. The young fighter steps forward, thrusting his palm at Antoine as he does so. The strike does not connect, as intended. However, the gust of wind generated by the chi Kazuki manipulated might pin Antoine to a wall.

As Kazuki rolls along with the flow of the throw, Antoine continues to lunge forward, acting as the agressor of the fight. He is strangely the aggressor. Of course, this is the mind of the predator. Go after the prey. Break the prey. There are those who play with their food and those that do not. Antoine, unfortunatey for Kazuki, fits the latter.
That burst of air, however, is expected. Both hands extend outward, expelling that sickening chi to resonate in front of him. As the chi manifests and crackles into existence it tears against the wind chi with both hands in front of him.
Then, Antoine charges forward. He quickly springs off of the ground, spinning around while the right leg seeks to bring that inward crescent kick down towards Kazuki's head. The black lightning crackles to life around the offending leg.

"Dammit," Kazuki snarls as he brings up his left hand, channeling energy through it to repel the black lightning. A twist of the wrist gives him Antoine's leg. The Aikidoka moves quickly, pivoting in toward his assailant while at the same time grabbing the kicking leg with his right hand.
"STOP THIS," Kazuki demands as he completes the circle, driving the enraged Antoine into the pavement face first. Kirigana may seem to be prey at first glance, but misjudging his peaceful intent for any sort of weakness may carry a cost.
That is a surprise. Antoine's leg is caught in he midst of the kick. Instead, his body is sent spiraling around until the circle is complete. This completion ends with Antoine's face towards the ground face first. Like an animal, Antoine immediately twists and rattles against the man's hold.
In fact, Antoine seeks to plant the other foot out towards Kazuki's chest. To do that, both hands plant firmly towards the ground, gripping to it before he springs out. As he launches out, he will follow it up with a twist up and the leg that was grabbed lifted up as both hands come forth in a downward chop towards the temple.
To end that combination, he will slide forward with the left palm towards Kazuki's solar plex.

Kazuki is simply not prepared to fight a man that does not fight so much like a man but a wild beast. The Gedo alumni crumples under the blistering assault of Antoine, surprised not so much by the pain as by the sheer ferocity of the young man. Antoine's song... would be amazing if it were not being blared over by the horrid noise of his Rage. Kirigana would be tasting the dirt himself had he not gotten his hands under him.
"Damn," he mutters again. He is not sure what to say, what to do that might snap the dark man in front of him. Nothing but fight, anyway. "/Damn/," Kazuki states a little louder as he shoves himself to his feet. Fine, he thinks. Take him down first, /then/ get him the help he desperately needs.
Kazuki reaches for his chi again, wrapping it around his palm before stepping in with force, grabbing at Antoine's leading arm in order to pull it toward him. If he manages to make the grab Kirigana will pivot while planted that chi-loaded hand directly into Antoine's chest, directly over the taller man's heart. The pulse of chi, hopefully, will stop Antoine's heart for the tiniest of moments, hopefully slowing him down. The force of the pivot and strike should also serve to launch Antoine into another wall.

After performing the strange dance, Antoine immediately moves back to the position of that of an hunched animal. His head lowers as he hunches over. He growls under his breath as the crimson eyes are glaring towards Zach. The animal that is Antoine is now facing the man, stalking towards him.
When Kazuki actually draws upon the instinct of using the chi, Antoine is starting to draw his own chi. That sickening chi manifests around Antoine as he feels the raw rage consuming him. That sick chi engulfs him as Antoine soon shoots himself forward.
Both hands extend out, planting that earlier-twisted leg towards the ground. An explosion of chi expels out as the focus is now to relase the energy. That is not what the Aikido fighter has to worry about.
He has to worry about the locomotive of the arms that expel out. The arms shot forward to plant against the palm. That contact with the palm breaks through and instead plows through it, aiming to slam against the chest.
Kazuki exhales loudly, driven back under the crushing force of Atoine's Rage. He feels a couple of ribs starting to give way. He coughs wetly, bringing some blood up in the process. Eyeing Antoine carefully, Kazuki realizes that he has a serious problem here: Antoine may very well /kill/ him. It is definitely in Huang's power to do so right now. Maybe not tonight, Kazuki decides. He takes a firm step forward, reaching for the front of Antoine's tattered gi.
Chi surges through the Aikidoka's body as he hips into Antoine, hard. A fierce wind kicks up as Kazuki aims to twist hard, hurling Antoine into the ground. Kazuki keeps his grip, rolling across Huang's body before heaving the Chongquan fighter into another wall, assisted by the screaming winds.

There is great strength that had been unlocked. That strength... is Awakened.
As the Rage continues to flow deeply into Antoine, the young man is starting to stagger towards Zach. The blood can barely be seen. Then again, Antoine can only see red.
Only red. Again.
As he stalks, Antoine leaves himself open for Kazuki to pretty much come forth and strike him. While the chi-surges along Antoine's form, the young fighter allowshimself to be caught wihin the fierce wind of a slam. With the hip pressed against Antoine's body, the ebony man is flung across and he slams into the surface. Cracks are left along the ground. Some have even formed the spiderweb sort of design.
Slowly, Antoine starts to get back up to his feet. While he staggers around, his eyes shift towards Kazuki.
The eyes glow red.
"GROOOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!! I'LL REND YOU APART!!!"
Antoine finally moves towards Kazuki at a quick burst. First, there is the glow of the right hand as the brown chi manifets along the hand. Black lightning consumes the hand as he seeks to slam the palm towards the man's gut. The blow is like a loco-motive.
"TIME TO DIE!"
Antoine soon thrusts his hand forward, reaching for the face. Should he get a hold of the man's face, the Gedo Alumni will find himself lifted and planted deeply towards the surface of the earth.
This includes a horrifying explosion of the brown chi that looks like a mixture of an inferno wrapped in spiralling lightning.

Kazuki wobbles weakly as he regains his feet after his last-ditch effort. He knows, with a sinking feeling in his gut, that the attack did not end the fight. He simply stares at Antoine as Huang closes in. There is little Kazuki can do.
Kazuki screams as Antoine tears into him. Blood pools around him as he lies in a small crater formed by the assault. He does not rise, completely unconscious. Antoine has the young prodigy at his mercy. Will this be the close verse?

The fighter is down...
Antoine stalks towards Kazuki. He moves closer towards the young fighter, seeking to pretty much rip th young fighter into pieces. The prodigy is at his mercy. The animalistic nature of Antoine is telling him to tear into Kazuki.
Rend him.
Tear him apart in the name of master.
However...
As Antoine gets closer...

In that instant....
The creature clutches his head, "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" He tears away from his attempt to rip the young man apart, thrashing his head around the wall. But then, he runs away.
Must... get out of here...
There is still Antoine in there.
