Juri - The Evil Stepsister

Description: Cammy was having a good day. Ibuki was having a wonderful day. Juri was ... hungry. Murphy's Law is in full effect as the three find each other at the Pao Pao Cafe one lazy afternoon. What is the worst that could happen?

The Pao Pao Cafe! It's really quite studenty, filled with teenagers and young twenties mostly, mostly chattering excitedly to each other while kicking back and relaxing with relatively good and very cheap for a cafe food. A happy sort of place.

So the normally rather dour Killer Bee does not exactly fit in, yet this is her favourite spot in Southtown nowadays, if only because her friend Ibuki can be seen here quite often, and perhaps more importantly, cheesecake is sold at reasonable prices. Clad in her red cloak "disguise", the hood drawn over her head, she at least doesn't look immediately like a Shadaloo Doll, she merely looks weird, which is an improvement.

The Doll, like Arthur Dent, knows how to queue, so is in position near the till, eying a cheesecake slice through the glass display case hungrily with her hands resting upon the glass, waiting her turn like a well mannered drone. Life is good! and as far as she thinks, about to get a lot better, as soon as she has settled down with food.

==

Life is good! Famous last words if they ever existed. For the Fates have ears, and a wicked sense of humor. Thus it comes to pass that some other member of Shadaloo is nearby, and just happens to be feeling a bit peckish. Or, more accurately, entirely famished.

She's so damn hungry she could eat a skinned bear!

In complete contrast to the incognito Cammy, Juri's arrival is announced with the loud bang of a door being recklessly pushed open. Since she isn't expecting any sort of fight she is currently dressed in her civvies: Plain white halter top with a pair of black low-cut slacks. Her hair is still worn up in those distinctive twin horns of hers, however, so there's little mistaking who exactly she is.

The Shadaloo agent snorts slightly when everyone turns their head to examine the source of the commotion. She takes a casual glance through the room and spots the queue for food. Almost immediately those violet eyes narrow into frustrated slits.

Rules, and common decency, would dictate she get in the back.

Juri however doesn't care about either. So with all the social graces of a water buffalo she walks across the room and attempts to elbow her way into line. This starts another commotion when one man grabs her by the shoulder, and she shoots him a chilling glare. "You really want to start something with m--..."

She is cut off when she notices the large number of people that begin crowding her. Oh sure she could go berserk and start kicking all of them, right now, but she's more hungry than particularly violent. Luckily the Fates smile down upon her in her plight when she notices the red cloaked woman. Her features split into a devilish grin, "Whatever. I have someone saving my place in line. Yoohoo! Cammykins!"

==

Cammy is deeply engrossed in staring at food, but the Doll is quite aware of her surroundings - in fact, at hearing the bustle and commotion behind her she does tense up a little, subconsciously, just in case there's a sudden outbreak of violence, which has been known to happen here in the past. And then... a familiar voice.

"Cammykins?".

She hurried wipes off the aghast look, and reaches up to pull down her hood so she can see a bit better, turning 180 so she can face ... Juri. "Uhm. Hello. What are you doing here?" she asks, a bit confused - as far as she knows she's the only Shadaloo type to ever show up here - and a bit wary, as she really can't imagine what Juri has planned coming here. Somehow coming merely to munch on a croissant doesn't seem very ... Juri.

"Aren't you busy in the tournament?" she asks. Really, after wheedling out of that she thought she'd have a good two months grace!

==

Once the other woman responds to Juri with recognition, the crowd seems to settle down some. Good. First she'll eat, then she'll feed the guy who grabbed her his own teeth. All things in good time. So, with that, Juri lightly brushes off her shoulder and sashays her way over to where Cammy is standing. As she comes closer some further details become apparent: In particular that she has a rather large gauze bandage on the front of her neck. What it's for should be obvious to anyone who watched the tournament thus far. Last we left poor Juri she had the front of her neck pretty much chewed open by a blood crazed Yamazaki.

"Getting food, what's it look like?" Juri's voice lacks none of its venomous charm, even with her neck so abused as it was. "What? Girl's gotta eat, every once in a while anyway. It's not like I run purely off of beating people." That comment draws a few glances, both toward Juri and toward Cammy. Oh yes, some people may be wary of this red robed woman rom now on.

As she continues to talk, Juri's eyes glance over the available menu while chewing idly on the back of her lower lip. Guh, she should have gone to a Mexican or Thai place. None of this looks particularly spicey. Whatever. "Hmm?" She glances back toward Cammy, idly scratching the side of her bandage. "Yeah? Oh, very busy." She snorts softly, "Mr. Clean doesn't care what I say, and Pretty Boy is too busy staring at himself in the mirror to give me the time of day. So honestly I have loads of free time to spend with my favorite kitten..."

==

Cammy did have someone jump in here once pointing at her and practically shouting 'ASSASSIN!'. But she managed to kinda avert that, by beating feet immediately and shouting back at the accuser Bavarian Fire Drill style. She looks faintly sheepish as Juri does her teeth feeding thing, and offers a tiny, apologetic shrug to the room. "Okay. Well, I suppose not." she offers to Juri, and budges up a little, to give her... cousin? Stepsister? some space at the till. Politeness costs nothing.

And Juri seems to be in an unbelievably agreeable mood, Cammy would hate for that to change, so she is on her best behaviour. "Mr Clean and Pretty Boy. Heh. That is funny." the doll says tonelessly. "And him staring into mirrors. Yes. He does that, I have noticed.". She points to the plate on the far side of the glass. "They have good cheesecake here." she notes, seeing how she saw Juri's nose curl a bit at the food.

In fact, mmm. Stuffing her hands in her pockets, she turns back to the cashier - it's her turn! And she gives the cake a nod. "One of those please." she mutters, and is promptly given a slice by the student behind the counter, who is reaching for it even before Cammy speaks. A regular customer, and a particularly predictable one when it comes to food.

==

Everyone has their moments, good and bad. Even someone whose switch seems superglued to the 'bad' position as default. Though it's hardly out of kindness or concern for others. Her stomach growls quite audibly as Juri idly rubs her exposed belly. Cammy's attempt to extend an olive branch by suggested a favored dish only earns her a sideways glance followed by a derisive snort. "I don't see how you can stand that sugar-loaded shit. Might as well buy a half-pound bag and a bucket of lard, mix it together and pour it down your throat."

Such pleasant company, this woman.

"Guh... just, what is the spiciest thing you got?" The Korean asks the cashier who seems a little ... lost by that question. And Juri seems a little lost for patience, "Whatever. Just give me a hamburger and a side of wasabi. No wait, two sides of wasabi." Needless to say it's a bit of an odd order, though not so odd that it can't be filled. Though when the food is offered, Juri just takes it and attempts to walk away.

Then she is very loudly reminded that she has to pay for her food. Eyes narrowing into slits, lips drawing back into a snarl, Juri turns back with a look that implies she'll explode into violence at any moment.

Instead she reaches one hand into a pocket of those black slacks she is wearing and flings tosses a handful of yen coins haphazardly onto the counter. "What a pain in the neck." Says Juri, who looks to know a thing or two about those considering the bandage she is wearing on the front of her throat. Her attention then returns to Cammy as she makes her way toward a table. "So what are you doing out and about anyway? I thought you'd get all your meals in pellet form in a nice little bowl with your name on it."

==

Cammy twitches a bit as her beloved cheesecake is slandered so - and for being too sugary??? "It isn't unhealthy." she mumbles. "It's just cream cheese. And fruit. And biscuits. And...". She could say more, but just stops in mid sentence as Juri promptly buys a burger right after she describe /Cammy's/ food as shit.

And as Juri looks ready to explode, Cammy simply heads off, looking for a table in the corner, where it's peaceful and quiet, and still hoping against hope that maybe Juri will sit somewhere else. Unlikely though it may be. And a hope almost immediately dashed.

"Right now I am eating. Though when I am not eating I am gathering information here in Southtown. There are many unusual things going on in the world at the moment, and Lord Vega will be interested in them, I am certain." the doll explains, voice quieter than normal as it doesn't do to invoke the name of the giant chin in the middle of law abiding Southtown. "And I do not have a bowl with my name on it. And we dolls can eat whatever we like.". Not just Shadaloo Snacks for the dolls. "There is no cheesecake on the base though.".

Cammy settles down in the corner, places the plate delicately upon the table, and begins poking at her cheesecake with a silver fork. Somehow her appetite has gone, even with her favourite food around.

==

Ibuki's having a wonderful day! She's fresh off her team's King of Fighter's victory and she performed super well and earned a bit of payback against some people that had upset her a while back, the last guy though had been a bit of an ass but she's smacked him good too and then Ken had finished him off so in all a good showing on her part. So super good mood for the ninja girl.

The mall was the perfect place to celebrate there were tons of stores to go shopping, lots of places to eat, and at certain times in the day lots of cute guys to watch. Having spent the majority of the day browsing and picking up things that she liked, Ibuki is carrying a few purchases as she steps into the Pao Pao Cafe to pick up something to eat and to passively boy watch for a bit while she dines, the perfect ending to the perfect day of celebration.

Stepping into the cafe with those numerous bags probably draws a bit of attention from the patrons, for her part she's already scanning the room and suddenly notes that Cammy is here, her wide smile dims for a moment as she's not sure she wants to deal with that right now but after a few seconds she sighs and reminds herself she had agreed to not worry about it and be Cammy's friend no matter what. Cheerful smile firmly re-established she waves her hand, "Hey Cammy!! How are you?" She swings a few of the bags around as she does this, dressed in her school uniform at the moment she doesn't particularly look like her fighter persona save for the hair at the moment.

Walking over ot the table she's already noted the other girl but she's not particularly aware this is the person responsible for pissing off Hakuya and Tenma by killing their friend during the Jinchuu 2 tournament, she's totally blissfully unaware of the danger or crazy she's walking into, thus she offers Juri a cheerful grin, "Hi! Are you a friend of Cammy's too?" She looks to the blonde doll, "Cammy! I totally did super well on that test I was telling you about last time! I think I'm ready for the next one already!" Yep the girl is obviously in a very pleased mood at the moment.

==

Everyone is having a good day! Or a wonderful day!!! Except for Juri. And with her help, soon that frown turned upside down will be brought back around. For now she just follows Cammy over to where she is sitting while grumbling to herself a bit. At least it seems that fistful of coins was enough to pay for her food.

Like the Doll, Juri seems to have lost much of her appetite. Though it seems in this case it's because she finds the food she has wholly unappetizing. She grumbles as she lifts the bun to look at the grilled beef underneath. Her lips curl slightly in disgust, before she releases a loud sigh. "Whatever. Need to eat." She states matter-of-factly and begins applying some of that wasabi to the underside of a bun. An odd mixture, perhaps, but for someone who likes spicy food like Juri does it may be the only thing saving this meal.

"Hmmph." She responds, coldly, "Yeah, His Chininess treats you like princesses really. Though it's a funny image you have to admi--"

Ninja girl on the scene!

The Taekwondoka's violet eyes widen considerably as this strange school girl runs up and starts talking excitedly to the two sitting at the table. At first Juri's expression is blank save for shock. Though as the girl continues to talk her obvious ... familiarity with Cammy causes the Korean woman to grin a most delighted grin. She gives Cammy a knowing look. <<Aww, lookit, Kitten has a cute little playmate.>>

Putting down the hamburger bun atop of its patty, Juri rests her shoulders on the table and smiles as pleasantly as she can to Ibuki. "Well well, who knew you had it in you." She then glances to Cammy, an eyebrow quirking, "Well? Why don't you introduce me to your..." there is a slight pause," ... friend?"

==

Cammy has her mouth open when she sees Ibuki incoming! And she even tries to speak. Several times. But Ibuki just keeps cutting her off. And then Juri cuts her off! And then... a silence. A silence she is apparently expected to fill, but the damage has been done by now. If she had any more emotions she'd probably be headdesking right now, but as it is, she merely... calculates..

The Doll considers Ibuki, and then glances over at Juri, and you can almost see the cogwheels turning, scenarios being explored. From 'I've never met this girl in my life!' to more subtle approaches. And then she sighs, avoiding Juri's eye.

"This is Ibuki. She is someone I met once." Cammy explains, about as noncommittal as she can manage, with a voice as flat as only the brainwashed can manage. "And this is Juri Han. An associate of mine." she tells Ibuki. Really, she can hardly warn better than that. And as they are here to eat, she promptly forces herself to start munching on cheesecake. How curious. She didnt' think cheesecake could ever taste this dry.

==

You don't get trained in observation and espionage and not get a feel for people and in spite of Juri's smile to her, the hair on Ibuki's neck stands up as she looks at her and Juri speaks. Ibuki's eyes snap to Cammy and she grits her teeth slightly for a brief second as she realizes she messed up and put both of them into danger, yeah from the response Cammy gives moments later it becomes very clear she walked right into it, not having expected a plain clothes girl to be a danger.

Ninja training kicks into full gear as Cammy begins to spin the story and Ibuki tries to figure out how to build upon and make it more believable and real. Placing a very excited and friendly smile upon her lips, "Yeah it was a pretty funny story involving a cheesecake, a rumbling tummy, and me doing all the talking since she's the quiet type!." Ibuki enthuses easily while setting down a few of her bags, "I didn't think I'd run into her again so soon though I guess if you're going to run into someone it's gonna be at the mall in Southtown isn't it?!" She chuckles before smiling, "Nice to meet you Juri-chan!" Ibuki has chosen the role of idiot blabbermouth.

Pointing at the cheesecake, "You do love your cheesecake don't you Cammy!" She asides to Juri, "She totally ate half of the one I had when we met." She then stops talking as her stomach rumbles and she manages to look embarrassed, "Umm do you two mind watching my stuff while I order some food, I've been carrying it around all day and I'm really hungry so it's gotten super heavy!!" She looks pleadingly between the two, turning her head just slightly so Juri can't see as she give Cammy a quick wink, apparently Ibuki wasn't slow on the uptake.

==

"Only met once and you're already friends." Juri muses to herself, "So outgoing..." Then there is a slight, mock pout from the woman as she looks toward Cammy with her best attempt at a wounded expression. Obviously, hilariously fake: It's not easy to act out an emotion you no long possess. The entire scene then takes upon a slight surreal quality as the strange woman protests loudly, "Awww, so cold, kitten! We're practically family, after all. And we've had a few good times together." The last bit, at least, takes that usual tone of hers and makes it far more suggestive than it should be.

Though considering Juri, it's no surprise she often equates violence with something suggestive.

When Ibuki begins to speak again, Juri listens. A soft laugh, and she responds, "Hm. She is indeed the quiet type. Around me, anyway." And so she continues to listen, though flinches obviously at being called 'Juri-chan'. She's not crazy about the Japanese or their language in general, but that honorific in particular is one she never had expected ... nor desired to be applied to her.

After that, Juri's mild amusement from Ibuki fades into slight annoyance. She's loud, bubbly, and as far as she can tell just another random brat walking in the stupid brat parade. It should be no surprise then that Juri's response to being asked, along with Cammy, to watch Ibuki's bag is a slight shrug followed with, "Whatever."

Juri waits a moment for Ibuki to walk away, before stating to Cammy with a slight smirk, "I see you share his tastes after all." She then reaches down to pick up her hamburger in both hands while watching Ibuki. "A practiced fighter too." Juri can tell by just looking? Well yes... her Feng Shui Engine allows her to detect the flow of chi through someone's body. An individual trained to fight will always look different than a normal civilian or low level martial artist. There is a cruel grin on her face before she asks, "I wonder what part of the 'information gathering' she serves though. A new wind-up toy for Him, perhaps?"

==

"I do like cheesecake, yes. And of course, Ibuki." Cammy replies to the ninja girl regarding looking after her stuff. Of course, the doll does almost subconsciously poke at one of the bags curiously with one finger. Information, information is everywhere, and it's her job to root it out - admittedly the contents of Ibuki's bags probably aren't of great concern to the Master, but you never know.

While idly poking at the bags, she looks over at Juri, evidently slightly amused at 'Juri-chan'. "His tastes?" she asks, and shrugs. "She is a fighter?" she asks, suddenly all bemused, and staring at Ibuki's back as she wanders off to buy food - only to brush that tidbit of information off, for now at least, as to dwell on it would probably just court disaster right now. "She is nothing to do with any information gathering. I am doing that, on my own. Looking for corrupted chi. Ken Masters has been afflicted by it." she says, figuring that maybe Juri's inquisitiveness can be lured to more harmless things.

And Ken Master' mental state might actually be Shadaloo business, not that Juri has ever really shown much enthusiasm for that. "Interesting, no?" she asks, a bit hopefully.

==

"Thanks!" Ibuki grins gratefully to the two other girls before bouncing off as uncoordinated as she can move, while she might not be able to do anything about hiding her chi she can surely make it look like she's got no idea what she's doing right? Thus she is moving right along and up to the counter to make her order, she swallows and then finally points out the chicken strips, "I'll have some of those and can I have tater tots instead of fries?" with her order taken care of she peers over her shoulder at the two girls and notes Cammy poking at her bags.

The bags are primarily full of clothing, a few cds, some magazines, some manga, and some different types of candy all in all nothing too unusual for a teenage girl perhaps the candy might be a bit off but she might be stocking up on treats. After a few moments of waiting her order is handed over and Ibuki makes her way back to the two other girls.

Smiling brightly at the two, "Thanks again for looking after my stuff." Looking thoughtful she tilts her head to the side, "Mind if I join you guys while we eat?!" Hey this was a rare chance to find out about the people that work with Cammy without getting into too much hot water if she was careful after all, "So you two doing some bonding, shopping, and boy watching?"

==

"Do I really have to explain it?" Juri states, in a somewhat exasperated tone. It seems to be in response to Cammy asking 'His tastes?' Juri just rolls her eyes and shakes her head, seeming to refuse to explain any further than that. Instead she takes a bite out of her hamburger.

As expected, the hamburger itself wasn't anything to write home about. At least the wasabi she added to it earlier gives it a bit of a kick. Enough of a kick that it causes one of Juri's eyes to water. Her right eye, anyway.

The burger returns to the plate, and the Taekwondoka takes to idly toying with a bracelet on her wrist. "Oh? Corrupted chi is it..." A soft laugh escapes her lips, "You'll have to do better than that."

"Anyway, I think I've seen ... something like what you're talking about. That man, Yamazaki, his chi was unlike anything I've ever seen. And when it took hold of him..." Juri shudders slightly: Whether from delight or disgust, it's hard to say. "... it was magnificent."

When Ibuki does return to the table, Juri manages her best friendly smile. It looks like it stretches her face in an uncomfortable way. "No problem." Juri states simply. Then the suggestion that Cammy are together 'boy watching' flits past her ears and Juri can't help but let out a loud guffaw, "Ooooh wow. I couldn't even imagine cute little Cammy doing something like that. I think she only really has eyes for one man anyway. Isn't that right, kitten?"

==

"No, I understand, Juri. And... ah yes. It sounds like your experience matches mine. Yamazaki, too. I am very curious if this curse or can affect psi users as well. The impression I get is that it is chi only. And I believe someone is doing this to people, its onset seems to be associated with a person, or people, of some kind.". Cammy may as well talk shop a bit with Juri, at least while Ibuki isn't right next to her. When Ibuki gets back, the conversation shifts a bit, and the doll finally leaves Ibukis bags alone, though she was hardly being subtle about it.

"Boy watching. No, we are not." the doll mutters, and gives something of an eyeroll. This is not one of Ibuki's best features, in her opinion! "Ibuki is always boy watching." she explains to Juri, and then explains, "I am just here to eat. I did not know Juri was going to be here as well.".

She almost coughs at Juri's next sentence though, and mumbles, "Yes, one man only." in reply, hoping Juri means who she thinks she means, and not someone else entirely.

==

Having missed the juicy juicy shop talk between Cammy and Juri, Ibuki take her seat with the two girls and starts chowing down on her chicken strips and tatter tots. She looks up as Cammy indicates she is always boy watching, "Well you have to keep an eye out, you never know when you'll meet the guy that's right for you after all!" Ibuki even sticks her tongue out at Cammy.

Juri's comment almost makes her spit out her soda as she takes a drink, but she merely plays it off as though she swallowed wrong and then she grins super wide as she looks at the Korean, "Oh?!! I didn't know there was anyone she liked. I wonder who it is?!!" She taps her chin thoughtfully as she seems to consider, "Though she doesn't seem to be the type that has crushed easily..." Ibuki totally covers Cammy like there is no tomorrow as she speaks.

She then raises an eyebrow and looks at Juri, "So what about you Juri-chan, any guy that you've got your eyes on?" Ibuki nibbles on her chicken strips again as her warm chocolate eyes regard the sadistic monster sitting across from her, looking for all the world like a harmless schoolgirl.

==

A knowing smile is what Cammy gets in return for her response. Then those cruel violet eyes return to regard Ibuki with some mild amusement. But again it quickly gives way to boredom. It's been a long time since she had been a schoolgirl. A long time, an entire life, a paradigm shift of unimaginable proportions. Still it holds her interest enough so that she can respond with a soft laugh, "Oh I'm sure you'll meet him someday. One way or another." The Taekwondoka rests her head upon the palm of her right hand as she continues to speak, "You're right. She isn't the type to crush easily. Though there are always very special circumstances..."

Nothing quite so special as being a test tube baby!

Juri's fingers can be heard tapping now across the table in a steady beat. A beat that steadily grows louder. Her legs also fidgit restlessly under the table. All of these are pretty good tells as to Juri's mental state, and what direction it is going: She is bored, she is restless. It is with this in mind she responds, "Mmmhmhm, you could say I've always got at least one eye open." A dry laugh, "Though I have to admit my interests are more... physical." Again with the purring tone of hers there is no way but to think the worst of what she is saying. Though considering what she actually means it probably isn't that much worse.

"Of course." Juri looks down at the half eaten hamburger, a slight frown on her face. She's still hungry but she's not hungry for this misbegotten culinary reject. Thus she simply pushes the meal aside, "I'm not that picky. It doesn't have to be a guy, I can have fun with a girl just the same." A cruel smile splits Juri's lips, a smile with way too many teeth to be considered friendly.

==

Cammy shrugs at Ibuki. "Maybe you will." she says, a bit sombre about the other man in her life. She does think Lord Vega is The Best, of course. But she does know he has a tendency to crush rebellious types like Ibuki seems to be, and people like Ibuki just don't understand, and maybe try to resist.

It's so sad. Maybe she'll try and persuade Ibuki later some day.

She gets a little tense when it becomes painfully obvious that Juri is getting bored - a bored Juri can only mean trouble! "I am only here for food!" she declares, a little more loudly than before, and she forces another mouthful of cheesecake down her gullet just to prove the point - while wondering what is going to happen next! She busies herself with fork, plate and cake, trying to bow out of this little part of the conversation.

Munch munch, slurp slurp, and bite bite...slowly Ibuki is making her way through her meal. The ninja can tell that Juri is bad news every fiber of her being was telling her to pay attention to her and the poorly veiled hositility and aggression she radiated. She nods her head in regards to the agreement that Cammy didn't crush easily on anyone.

"Oh like what?" Ibuki looks thoughtfully towards Juri as she speaks, wondering what sort of 'special' circumstance would make Cammy fall for a guy at least in Juri's opinion.

It seemd that two things were happening almost simultaneously at the table, Juri was getting bored and with that boredom came a greater degree of aggression which in turn caused Cammy to become more and more uncomfortable. The fact that it was causing Cammy discomfort meant that it was most likely something bad for everyone here if she got too bored. When someone points a weapon at you and you have no way of stopping them from killing you, it's best to entertain them...they might just let you go. Granted she didn't think her life was in danger yet.

"I...see." Ibuki's response is a bit unnerved as she realizes what Juri means but keeps from commenting on how her current mode of dress would facilitate that. Ibuki then looks up as she chews on some chicken at Juri's follow up comment and Juri gives her that smile while Cammy suddenly pipes up about only being here for the food...thus it was time to entertain. "Really?" She blinks her eyes, "I only like guys myself, though a lot of them are just uncool jerks that don't look all that good there are a few though that are pretty awesome." She smiles innocently at Juri igorning the discomforting smile and comment, "So what's your type in guys and girls? Anything in particular you like or dislike?" Hoping that getting Juri talking about herself would entertain her to some degree.

==

Juri, The Broken Doll, the failure, the trash that was handed off between research departments more like a piece of property than a human being and now cannot help but feel a bit giddy at the sight of Cammy acting all uncomfortable. Call it sibling rivalry, or merely the fact that Juri enjoys misfortune period. Whatever it may be it is there and it seems to calm down Juri briefly. Her tapping fingers slow, as do the rapidly fidgiting legs.

Briefly.

And although Ibuki's efforts to slow Juri's descent into boredom and thus potentially into violence, it really does seem to be a losing battle. In fact while Ibuki talks the Korean starts to lose focus. She looks around the room, back at the table, up at the ceiling, at her own wrist, then back around the room. She mutters something under her breath before responding to Ibuki, "The only ones I really dislike are the ones that try to waste my time!"

She suddenly pounds her fist against the table before standing up with enough force that the chair she was sitting in is sent clattering to the floor. She looks around at the people sitting in the restaurant, all doubtlessly staring at her now. The Taekwondoka is at her limit. Still she has a reason she can't start a fight in here, like this, right now. Not without causing issues for herself down the line. Annoying issues involving a massive chin with a man attached. So finally she grits her teeth, and turns back to look at Ibuki and Cammy. "I need to go. This place is driving me nuts. I'll see you later..." She says this directly to Cammy, and then looks at Ibuki with a small grin, "And I'll see you /very/ soon." There is a subtle wink, this time delivered in a fashion that Cammy can't see but Ibuki can. Then with that, and assuming nothing else gets in her way, Juri will stride out of the room as swiftly as her feet can carry her.

And woe be it to whoever she finds to help her ... unwind from this experience.

==

Cammy is quite relieved to see Juri vanishing without breaking any faces, or Ibuki's face especially, first. She gives Juri a little wave, "OK Juri. Though I doubt we will be seeing much of each other given how different our assignments are.". Oh, such a shame.

She then licks her lips, her gaze shifting to Ibuki, and after a moment of staring, she shrugs a small shrug. "She is not really the most diplomatic of my associates. I am... sorry, I guess.". Not that it's really Cammy's fault that Ibuki happened to come in when Juri decided to actually visit the normal folk for a change.

And with that Cammy rises to her feet, leaving behind an indication of the gravity of the situation - half eaten cheesecake. "It is a bad time, really." she says apologetically. "Bad timing. And I have work to do. I guess we will bump into each other again at some point." she says by way of farewell, still being quite neutral.

==

Well things take a very strange but not unpleasant turn for the worse as Juri gets up in a state of quasi restrained violence and threatens Ibuki twice in less than a span of five minutes. Oh well she'd been in fights with people just as scary, Ibuki's courage was nearly limitless. Thus at the wink from the violet eyed girl she looks bemused before giving her a small wave and then once she's out of ear shot looking to Cammy, "You work with jerks Cammy...raging inhuman jerks."

She chuckles at Cammy, "No she's really not, I'm surprised she even really talked to me." She then raises her hands and waves off Cammy's apology, "Not you fault she's insensitive and violent with a habit of threatening people." She then goes back to finishing off her food as Cammy stands up as well causing her to look at the blond girl.

"I suppose it was..." She looks at the half eaten cheesecake, Cammy really had been distrubed by that whole exchange since she'd not even finished her favorite food. Ibuki nods once, "Yeah look forward to it!" Then ninja gives a small wave to her friend before she too takes off and away. Now alone at the table Ibuki relaxes and eats her meal slowly in peace.

"Well...that could've gone better." She murmurs to the furry creature sitting next to her as she tosses the tanuki a piece of chicken, "Don't you think so Don-chan?" She smirks and giggles as Don wiggles his nose at her as if to agree with the Ninja girl, "Hopefully next time will be less...tense."
