Description: Karin's quest for finding Wing Xiaoping takes another turn for the intense, as she fights Aranha and tries to get him talking.
After his league match in China against Miu Kurosaki, the Dancing Spider immediately returned to Southtown. He had been hearing rumors of his team members generally being terrors. Unfortunately because none of the victims have stepped forward, he has been a bit hesitant to deal with either one of them.
Instead, Aranha has taken to training. Right now on the list is precision training. Current drill is cartwheel to the side and touching a specific spot on a tree while upside down before finishing the cartwheel movement.
Of course the fact he's here is no secret. He hasn't been hiding his whereabouts.
None of the victims? Well, there is one who happens to still be looking for one of Aranha's team mates in particular, and has been going through all of them to find that person. In this case, the victim is Karin Kanzuki, who makes her way into the clearing where Aranha is training in a stretch limo, and climbs out of it when she sees him.
Karin narrows her eyes a little, and semi-stomps her way over to Aranha, and FINGER POINT at him, "Hey! Are you Wing Xiaolin's team mate?"
"Huh?" He touches the tree with his foot one last time before he stands up completely upright and turns around to see a finger pointed at him. "If you mean, Wing Xiaoping, then yes."
Deep inside the capoeirista is getting a feeling that his already bad day is about to get worse. He's already counting down before he has to let out a long suffering sigh.
Karin blinks for a moment at the corrected name, before shaking her head and saying, "Yes, her!" She hmphs and folds her arms across her chest as she mutters, "You should have taken better care when choosing your team mates for the King of Fighters tournament, since it seems you only have hooligans and thugs on your team... But regardless, I just want to find Wing in particular..."
She then POINTS once more, "Tell me where Wing Xiaoping is! My fight record has been sullied enough without a chance to make her pay for it, so tell me where I can find her so I can have my victory!"
"Whoa, whoa." He brings up a hand to brush the hand and pointed finger out of his face. Considering that capoeirista indulge in eye gouges occasionally, he does not like having a finger that close to his face.
"First of all, who are you to make demands of me? Secondly, I'm not saying anything until you tell me what she did so /I/ can address it." He takes a step back away from the enraged blonde. After all, there is some major violation of personal space here.
Karin hmphs and says, "You're right I suppose, I haven't exactly introduced myself... I'm Karin Kanzuki. The name should mean something." Who hasn't heard of the Kanzuki Zaibatsu? "And I've already told you what she's done, so I'd really appreciate it if you would cooperate."
Karin then hmmmps and clicks her fingers, causing her butler Ishizaki to approach from the car, and hands her a checkbook. "If you'd rather prefer some compensation, I'm more than willing." She doesn't consider this bribery. "I just want to fight Wing and beat her, and I'm not feeling like waiting for the tournament to start to meet her again."
"I've heard of the name however, just because you can afford to wipe your behind with money does not give you the right to treat me like crap and expect me to all of a sudden kiss your ass." He pauses for a moment. "As for what she's done, is beat you? Cry me a river. Everyone loses. /Everyone./ What matters is what you do when you are defeated. You learn from it, you improve."
The fingers snap and he glances over at the butler and then at checknoook. "While, I would seriously love to take that money, you have not given me an adequate reason to tell you where she is. If you want to fight her so bad, challenge her to a Neo League fight and beat her on live television. I'm not helping you. I know for a fact that you're both in the league."
Karin narrows her eyes at that declaration, and hmphs, "Varvara wasn't very cooperative either, but she tried to mug me when I was offering her payment for the information." She clenches her fist as she tosses the checkbook back to Ishizaki, and says, "This is about more than just a score board, Aranha, but that would be nice... No, it's about something more important than a score, something that Wing stomped on..." It was most definitely not about winning streaks or scoreboards.
"Once again. If you expect me to part with the information, I'm gonna need more details. What was it that she stomped on that has you flipping out?" On the other hand the fact that Varvara tried to mug her is tipping things a little more in her favor not that he's going to mention that.
"As for Varvara, I'll deal with her." With Varvara he knows the exact transgression and now is pondering a punishment for her. Needless to say, hearing that part puts a frown on his face and makes him go into that anticipated long suffering sigh. "I miss my old team."
"Never mind that Wing is a hooligan, breaking into restaurants and trashing the place..." Never mind that Karin took part in that particular fight, but Wing started it. Karin shrugs a little as she says, "It's not something that can be settled by kindly asking you to talk to her about it. It's my pride is what is at stake, and I want to settle this with her, not with you! Now, tell me where she is!" She's tired of this game, and not getting her way throughout the whole of it.
And here comes long suffering sigh number two as he finds out about the other team mate's activities which he will make sure to address that when he next sees her in private. However, there's a particular in front of him that he has to address right now.
Aranha looks Karin up and down. "You've just given me two reasons not to comply with your request. First, you're dealing with the type of person who told Rugal Bernstein to kiss his ass when he tried to intimidate them so what makes you think I'll bend knee to her royal highness when she /orders/ me to talk? Second part is the whole matter of it being a matter of pride. I've done horrible things because of pride, things I now regret. And I'm not going to risk my team mate and someone who has saved my ass countless times, suffering the same fate as what I once put a person through over pride. No. If that's all, step."
"Suffer? What do you -think- I'm going to do if I found her? Chop her up into little bits? I just want to fight her!" Which is the honest to god truth. Karin hmphs and shifts her stance, "Your team mates are a bunch of common lowlifes, and so are you it seems. If you don't tell me where she is, I'll just have to beat you until you do!"

It's such an impassioned reply with two significant flaws in the eyes of the capoeirista. First of all there's the fact that she's still ordering him around and the second is the fact that she has now added the threat of beating him up.
Considering the fact that she has also taken her stance, he doesn't have to feel bad about attacking her. "Ok... You've addressed one reason with that reply of yours. Now you still have one matter left to address and that one you don't seem like you'll ever catch on enough to take care of."
He walks up to the blonde and whips an outside crescent to Karin's head, attempting to slap her with his foot. Then and only then does he start dancing. "You're welcome to try."

Karin finds herself whacked despite being ready to block that kick easy. Granted, she wasn't expecting it to be quite so crescenty, so she ends up reeling back for a moment, before she rubs her face and glares, "That was a lucky hit. You won't get to repeat that luck!"
In spite of her anger, she feels that little bit of excitement that comes from thrill of the fight, as she ducks and sweeps her leg at his, trying to send him to the ground.

Aranha watches as the kick comes however his feet aren't where he needs them to be in order to leap over the sweep, as a result he ends up catching the kick to the leg before flying into the air and landing on his back.
Aranha doesn't respond to comments on luck. Instead, he spins around into a crouched position with his back facing her as he looks under himself and swings a back heel kick at her using the momentum to spin him back to his feet.

Karin waits for Aranha's kick, and catches it briefly before twisting his leg and using his momentum against him, in order to flip him over and send him crashing back down again, before taking a back step and saying, "You won't be quite as lucky this time."
Aranha rises to his feet once again, this time with a roll of his eyes. He takes a deep breath and tries to get himself together and then he comes after her again. This time he harkens back to that training drill that he was doing earlier only this time he performs a series of snap kicks on Karin's head before he lets himself tilt back onto his feet.

Clearly Karin was having bad luck with all that capoeira, because she is ready to guard again, but ends up surprised by his handstand kicking and gets whacked some more, and almost falls over, but keeps on her feet as she she growls and charges at him and attacks with two consecutive palm thrusts, before feinting a third palm thrust and instead spins for a roundhouse kick at him.

The flurry of kicks worked much better than the capoeirista had hope for. He just wanted to put pressure on the heiress of the Kanzuki fortune, landing those kicks so solidly was just a bonus. He moves in closer to the blonde and that's when the first two palm thrusts come in. In spite of that, Aranha holds his ground as he draws chi into his hand and brings it across Karin's face in the form of a chi endowed pimp smack from hell. Using the momentum from the hand strike, he spins around to whip a spinning back heel right where he landed the first strike. "That on the other hand... wasn't luck."
The smack sends Karin spinning, considering she can't stop herself now that she tried to kick. She goes crashing to the ground now, and blinks wildly, all dizzy and everything, before she growls and rolls back up onto her feet and lunges at Aranha, proceeding to drive try to drive her knee into his gut four consecutive times. On the fourth knee, she would sweep him off onto the ground, then hoist him back up to standing before grabbing his arm and tries to hoist him into a spinning armbar takedown. "Kanzuki-ryuu - Ranbu!"

Aranha knew he wasn't going to stop the grab. Instead he chooses to perform damage control. He's not quite successful. The knees slip past his forearm and that's only the beginning. He's swung about like a rag doll before he's thrown into a spinning armbar takedown.
He brings himself back up to his feet and then with gritted teeth he charges in whipping a pair of elbows to the face before he suddenly drops low and pulls Karin's legs from under her.

Karin isn't so much worn out as hurt far sooner than she would have expected to be from Aranha's earlier kicks. She too manages to get back to her feet, but finds herself whipped right back off her feet by his little leg yanking stunt. This time, though, Karin manages to roll with the toss and takes far less damage than she could have, and rolls herself back up to her feet as she swings her leg up and over, trying to smash another roundhouse at him.

Aranha's arm suddenly raises as he leans away from her, spinning with the momentum of the kick, he then whirls around as takes the impact of the kick on his arm utilizing the added spin to whirl around as he swings a powerful blue glowing roundhouse kick to the head.
That kick is soon followed by more glowing kicks, outside crescent kicks, spinning back heels, side kicks, more roundhouses. There's a short lull in the attacks. It's only long enough however for the capoeirista to tilt into a handstand and then whirl chi engulfed kicks at Karin's head like a human tornado before ultimately landing on his feet.

Karin quickly returns to an defensive position when Aranha maka his move, and goes wide eyed as the man starts kicking like a machine, and begins to step backwards, trying to find an opening in his soon to form hurricane of kicks. Anything less than perfect timing would result in her getting knocked out by his barrage of kicks.
And Then she sees the opening. The brief lull. Karin's eyes sharpen as she suddenly dashes and makes for another aikido-like grab and flips the man to the ground, to make him crash and burn. She then says, "I'm afraid anything less than perfect just isn't going to cut it with me."
Aranha's body goes up and over and then he finds himself landing hard on the ground. His breathing is heavy as he gets back up to his feet and attempts to get air back into his lungs. "Funny how you didn't have much to say when were getting hit."
His body lethargically goes into ginga, his arms drooping and then he adds. "How about you earn your right to shit talk? Beat me first and then justify your high opinions of yourself."
That's when the Dancing Spider starts making forward progress, swinging a snap kick right for Karin's shoulders.
On to Endgame Plan B, for the capoeirista.

Karin narrows her eyes as she watches that leg snap up for her, and shifts herself out of the path of the kick, and presses her advantage right there, as she leaps right into the air and her arms whirl, palms circling and trying to strike hard as she comes down, yelling, "Ressen Ha!"

Aranha's body was too tired and too battered to get out of the way of the whirling palm and the capoeirista is finally taken off of his feet. He ends up slowly crawling over to a tree and laying back on it for support. He then shakes his head.
"You've beaten me and you've justified that trash talk. However beating me up is not going to loosen my lips."
He pauses to take a deep breath because using so many words while that short of breath is downright torture. Eventually he gets enough air before. "You see, you've told me what your problem was with Wing and you assured me you wouldn't go off the deep end once you found her. If not for the last thing, I would've tried to arrange for the fight myself. You've talked down to me, treated me as something less than human, and treated me with a lack of dignity. And because of that, I'll remain silent. Come back when you're capable of treating me like a person and not a servant."

For a few moments Karin, having managed to land on her feet and somehow not fallen over in pain and exhaustion, keeps a wary eye on her opponent, almost waiting to see if he'll come back at her once more. However, when Aranha doesn't get back to his feet and still denies her any information, she huffs and stands up straight, "I guess there's just no getting around it... For the bunch of lowlifes that your team is, you're all incredibly stubborn..." She then clicks her fingers, and says a single word, "Ishizaki."
Karin's butler, who had been watching the entire time, simply nods and reaches into the limo to pull out a first aid kit, and approaches the capoeirista to tend to him. Karin in the mean time turns and starts walking to the limo, as she says, "I resent the idea that I'm incapable of being human. That's just ludicrous. Good luck at the King of Fighters Tournament, but don't expect to win." With that, she climbs into her limo and waits for Ishizaki to be done with Aranha so that they can leave.
With her having the butler tend to his wounds it shows at least a tiny gesture of respect which was all the capoeirista wanted. "In having him help me, with medical aid you've treated me like a human, but seriously work on your people skills. You're not gonna inspire people to help you if you're so quick to look down upon them. All I asked was for you to treat me with respect and I would in turn do the same. I'll see what I can do to arrange the match but the moment you call me a low life, it's off. I've left that part of me behind."
Karin doesn't really respond, only nodding slowly in Aranha's direction before shutting door to the limo. Soon enough Ishizaki finishes with the man and follows suit, and when he's in, the Limo drives off.
