If it wasn't bad enough that after the whole Chris debacle that everyone at school was now harassing Karin Kanzuki about the matter, the young heiress had to convince her parents that it was DEFINITELY not what it looked like. It wasn't that hard to convince her parents, but the rest of the school were half-convinced that Karin and Chris were doing something that wasn't entirely fighting related. It pissed her off to NO END.
"How in the hell did it even get into the newspapers anyway!?" Karin screams to nobody in particular as she walks along the road in the commercial district, with Ishizaki her big butler following close behind. "No, even worse, it got into the tabloids! Whoever it is that did it is going to suffer dearly! Their lives will be so ruined when I'm done with them!" STEEEEEEEAM.
Meanwhile, selling newspapers actually gets you money.. sortof .. still. Baring in mind that we're in the twenty first century and newspapers are almost completely unused, unread.. uneverything. "Extra Extra Read all about it, Karin Kanzuuuki."
Nae hasen't even bothered to read the paper, so the exclamation ends there and how many people have even heard of this Karin person, certainly not Naerose, who does manage to sell a few of these papers (that she salvaged from a rubbish bin).
Yep, this is the life, a few more of these babies sold and she will totally be able to afford that king sized chocolate bar she'd been eyeing all morning. If only they had Witch cakes for sale!
With the real Karin walking by. . Somehow Naerose doesnt't put it together who is there, or that they met. Oh no, she could forget that fight and clearing off a table herself? Yes. She can forget.
Karin is almost too busy in her ranting to even notice, as she and Ishizaki walk by Naerose, not paying her any attention for about thirty seconds as Karin keeps going on, "Who in their right might believes the damn tabloids!? The paparazzi are the scum of the universe! That was like the seventh one whose camera I broke today! I swear if I have to hear another word about this tripe I'll---"
Karin had walked about fifteen feet past Naerose when it registers what Naerose was chanting, and freezes up, before she spins around and dashes back to Naerose and yanks the newspaper from her hand, and stares at it so hard that she could burn holes through it, before throwing it to the ground and proceeding to stomp on it, as she punctuates her stomps with a scream! "GOD! DAMN! STUPID! TABLOIDS! I'M! GONNA! KILL!" SEEEEEEEETHE.
The Red Witch is shocked by the joy that her work is bringing people. She smiles, adjusts her shades and offers to sell the paper, "That will be a quarter please." Surely a quarter is a lot of money to the likes of Naerose Delphine. She holds her hand out patiently. We would like to note however that the money conversion between what the amount would be in Japan, where they actually are, has been done server side and that Naerose actually asked for the equivalent in Yen.. or something.
Karin's eyebrow twitches for a moment when Naerose has the AUDACITY to demand payment for distributing this kind of trash, before screaming in indignant fury, and turning to Naerose, pointing a finger, "I'M NOT GONNA PAY FOR THIS KIND OF TRASH THAT'S SULLYING MY NAME! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" At this point she finally pays attention to the witch's appearance, and goes wide eyed, "You're with that midget punk girl!" FINGER POINT.
Karin finally has enough, "That's it! I'm going to teach you a lesson for trying to humiliate me! I'll send you to Wing in a body cast!" She's so mad that she doesn't even think about her very unladylike behavior. Instead she just shifts into a fighting stance, and screams, "Prepare to get suffer Karin Kanzuki's wrath!"

Well who expects to be attacked? Not Naerose, she was expecting money for her selling a delightful edition of whatever she could find in the trash. So why would she expect a fist to come flying her way. Needless to say the smile on her face doesn't change. Wait that is needless? Apparently. After getting hit she's still pretty much standing there smiling. She must be a tank! And then it fully registers and she's like "OWOWOWOWOOWOWOWWOO!"
She does the ow dance for a while, in a circle before finally coming back to facing Karin.
"What'd you do that for?" She asks, not looking angry so much as just well, surprised. Does nothing phase this woman? Nothing at all?

Karin has been needing to blow off some steam for a while anyway, having only managed to acquire losses or draws in her more recent fights, and this Chris incident has only made things worse. So Naerose makes the perfect punching bag for Karin right now, who screams at Naerose, "ARE YOU STUPID OR SOMETHING?! DID YOU EVEN READ THE TRASH YOU'RE TRYING TO SELL?!" A quick glance to the ground would reveal the tabloid does indeed have this big bold 'SCANDAL' front page with Karin's face on the front.
Karin doesn't care anymore, "This is INEXCUSABLE! I won't stand for this humiliation!" With that, Karin charges at Naerose, and grabs her before throwing her over her shoulder, throwing her to the ground.

Well on the ground can be one thing, but Naerose is going to be an upstanding witch. So she decides to try blasting Karin off of her with a shout of 'En Criento!' yeah, really its' gibberish, and if you were hoping to learn a thing or two about Naerose.. good luck. There is probably no one less predictable than her, maybe, that could be wrong. Nevermind. Anyway, she opens her hand to a white blast of energy she tries to focus on Karin to get her blown off of her, literally.
"Man, okay okay, I didn't read it, but it sounds like this is quite the scoop." Naerose says and pulls out of her hat an index card which reads 'Press' written in red crayon. She sets that on her hat and pulls out a notebook with a red crayon, "Would you care to give an exclusive interview miss?"
There just seems to be no slowing the witch down. None at all.

Karin goes wide eyed and grabs the tray that Ishizaki had been holding her fruit juice with (her butler is always carrying the tray and something on top of it), and uses it to block the energy blast, causing the tray to be scorched. Karin then has a cross shaped vein popping up on her forehead when Naerose tries to interview her, and snarls, "You're making fun of me, are you?!" Before flinging the tray at Naerose.

Naerose goes for a quick shift of her weight, adjustment of staff to give the tray another direction to fly in, you know, not hitting her as hard as it probably wanted to. Instead it goes off to the side. Naerose hurriedly starts making notes on the scratch pad of paper she has, "So what is your name? What ar- Oh sorry, I'm not making fun of you honest, I'm trying to make a news article here, think of this like your personal press release response to whatever it was you are objecting to in the first place. "
She scribbles frantically and then turns the page over, the scribble turns out to be a poor drawing of Karin looking mad like Godzilla crushing a couple of sky scrapers, all in red crayon of course. Noticing the tray still there, Naerose picks it up and says, "Oh I don't need this you can have it back.
She hurls the tray back at Karin.

Karin shifts her weight easily allowing her to avoid the tray entirely, which ends up flying back into Ishizaki's face instead. Poor guy. Karin on the other hand growls and finger points at Naerose some more, "I don't want your interview! I want you to shut up!"
Karin then proceeds to dash towards Naerose, and thrusts her palm out slamming it into her chest, then a second one into her abdomen, before sending a third one out at her. "Guren Ken - Hou Shou!"

"Hey wait!" exclaims Naerose, who holds her hands up, cause a flash of blinding chi that reflects off her shades (harmlessly not blinding her) before whacking Karin back with her broom. She usually gives this one a full baseball swing, but eh, sometimes she just seems more intent on not showing off so much. Anyway.
What is the important question she has for Karin at this time?
"Can I quote you on that?" The red witch asks, then resumes scribbling furiously on her notepad, changing the pages to show..
A drawing of Karin-Thulu! Yes that's right, her curls turned into tentacles with her lower body depicted as if she were a giant squid!!!
Karin gets went reeling back for a moment, but she scowls at the Naerose' carefreeness, something that is increasingly pissing Karin off right now, causing the rich girl raise up her leg and swing it in an arching roundhouse, aiming for Naerose' head, "HAAA!"

Getting elegantly kicked in the head is really hard to put into words and as Naerose is sent rolling across the ground, her pad and paper still in hand, broom under one arm, it soon becomes obvious that the Red Witch should do something, I don't know what, to make this situation more in her favor.
"Okay, so your statement, I mean.. Ouch!" She rubs her head, "This is the hardest interview I've ever given, I hope they give me an award for it. " She complains before standing up and aiming her broom to try to keep Karin back from any more of that nasty attacking.
"Lets ah, make this less of a intimate interview and sort of formal. So you should stay back there." She says, while trying to prod Karin with her broom.

The broom comes at Karin, and she drops low and on reflex catches the broom and the hand holding onto it, and she growls as she forcefully strikes the witch woman with her palms hard enough to send her crashing to the ground.
Karin huffs and narrows her eyes, as she takes a breath, glaring down at Naerose, and for a moment goes quiet, before sighing as she says in a much calmer tone. "I feel so much better now." This whole fight had been very cathartic.
For Naerose's part she's left crouched on the ground going ouch ouch ouch and rubbing her head, looking utterly confused about what just happened. She picks up her crayon with a shaking hand, and examines the note pad. The crayon is broken.
"Oooooch." She comments, as though it were not the biggest deal in the world but then flops back on her back and adjusts her hat a little over her face some. It's clear she's not gong to press her luck. But is she awake? Hard to tell with those round black shades she -always- wears. (seriously even in at night in a room without any lights on).

Karin takes a breath as she cools down, having managed to let out some steam as she glances down at Naerose for a moment and shakes her head, "Honestly, some people don't think at all." Before glancing to Ishizaki and telling him, "Tend to her." Ishizaki nods and steps over Naerose to check on her to see if she's too badly injured, and with a first aid kit tends to her injuries.
Karin in the mean time takes a checkbook from Ishizaki's pocket, and a pen, and proceeds to write some numbers down, and her signature, before ripping it out of the check book and puts the check in Naerose's hand. "Consider that yourself in my debt." With that, she waits for Ishizaki to finish up and starts walking.
