Description: Ibuki faces Fio in a NL match inside a Transylvanian Castle.

Way out in the Transylvanian countryside, far from where most people live, is an old castle. Yes, an old castle. One that looks like it would come out of numerous vampire horror movies, as well as possibly ones with Dr. Frankenstein as well. But there are no vampires or monsters lurking around here. No, none of those whatsoever.
Just fighters.
Because it just so happens that this place, despite being old and covered in weeds and whatnot, is one of the many places that the Neo League has selected as an arena for their fights to be broadcast from. And wouldn't you know it, there just happens to be another fight happening today, with one of the combatants being none other than the clumsy-but-well-meaning Fiolina Germi.
As Fio is checked out by officials to make sure her weapons are loaded with non-lethal ammunition and she's not packing any extra weapons for dirty play or things like that, she adjusts her glasses nervously and fidgets. "OK... so, um, this is a Neo League fight that's happening here in Dracula's old castle. Does that mean, that... I'll be facing a vampire?" Fio seems more like she's talking to herself rather than to anyone in particular, and while it looks like she's rather unsteady and uneasy, she's still trying to put on a confident smile. But behind those glasses one can see the uneasiness in her eyes.
The wind whistles through the old castle adding to the already creepy feeling of the place, the added musty smell from the old stone of the castle's construction also deepens the forboding feeling as the weight of time seems to make the ill intent of the place that much more terrible.
Ibuki shivers slightly as she wonders why the Neo League has decided to send her to creepy place after creepy place for her matches recently! But she doesn't let that get to her too much...she needs to make an entrance after all! Dropping from the shadowy ceiling just as the other girl asks if she's going to be fighting a vampire, "Ibuki is here!!!" She enthuses cheerfully after the resounding thump her landing made.
The ninja girl then submits to the standard pre match checks for a NL match, while her kunai could be lethal these particular ones a blunted, they'll hurt like heck but can't kill unless something really wrong happens. She then turns around and points at Fio, "I'll be your opponent! No need to worry though I'm a ninja not a vampire!!" She folds her hands behind her back, "Good luck, let's have a great fight okay?!" She smiles underneath her mask at the other girl.
As the ninja appears from the ceiling, Fio turns around suddenly, and gasps. But when she realizes that it's just a ninja, she smiles again, trying not to look nervous. Fio looks at Ibuki and says, "So you're my opponent?" A slight sweatdrop might be seen on her head, but with her cap on, it's not exactly possible to see that easily, if at all. Nodding, Fio replies with, "Yeah, I'm sure we'll have a great fight, right?"
Stepping towards the center of the fighting area, Fio takes her cap off just long enough to adjust it so it will fit snugly during the battle, but not leave a mark or cause any unnecessary pain. After that Fio assumes her stance and looks at Ibuki with a look that, while not a failure at a poker face, isn't exactly a perfect one either. "Come on, let's start this... uh, OK?"

Ibuki keeps grinning as Fio responds, "Yep I am! I hope we will." She notes the other girl's slight nervousness but doesn't say anything about it. Heading over to the fighting area she does a few final stretches before taking up her fighting stance, then she looks up at Fio, "Okay then here I come!!" She roars as she launches herself towards her opponent.
As she speeds towards Fio, she draws up her knee to hopefully cause Fio to drop her guard to protect her stomach area, then extend her leg to cause her foot to connect with the bottom of the other girl's chin, which if it goes well should send her airborn for the follow up of Ibuki leaping up, then using her body as a spring board before sending Fio screaming back into the ground hard.

"OK, come on!" Fio says, trying to look confident, but then it turns into a nervous look again as Ibuki comes after her. The way she's moving, it's so fast in comparison to how Fio generally moves. But Fio won't let that get her down. Instead, she remembers her training as a soldier and keeps an eye on Ibuki as the ninja comes after her. Her instincts tell her to defend, and she does so by bringing one hand towards her chin to protect her precious smile, with the other going to her stomach in case Ibuki tries a fake out or something.
Fortunately, Fio's instincts prove right as she deflects Ibuki's bare foot away. "Ohh... that was... Not bad!" Obviously stammered out without thinking, Fio realizes what she just said and how dumb she must've sounded. "Oh... but, oh yes..." Fio puts on her confident face again and attempts to deliver a swift left punch to Ibuki's stomach.

"Good Block!" Ibuki laughs as Fio totally stops her attack, the ninja girl of course wished she'd landed that but it's more fun if the fight has some back and forth in it. Ibuki takes the time to closely watch Fio's movements, however, so as her foot is deflected away from Fio's face the ninja sees the roll in her shoulders that indicate the follow up punch.
As the punch comes at her, Ibuki suddenly steps to the left allowing it to pass right by her and right through where she had been standing a moment before, lining up the shot carefully as Fio fully extends her fist, Ibuki calls out, "Tora!!!!" As her own fist is launched towards Fio's ribs and the ninja girl steps forward with the strike to give it that much more impact should it land cleanly.

"Thanks.... I guess?" Fio replies, somewhat confused, but still not trying to let her inconfidence show. "You're pretty good too..." Fio steps back into her fightings stance, circling Ibuki and watching as she dodges. Then Ibuki comes at Fio again, this time attempting to punch her. Fio thinks quickly, and goes for her gun. Despite the fact that she's in a fight and not in field combat, Fio still fires off a shot, albeit using her nonlethal ammunition since she's not in the mood to be killing anyone today.
Of course, Fio can be a little slow on the draw, and just as she fires at Ibuki, she gets struck and is sent staggering with the wind knocked out of her as her gun drops to the ground. Fio drops to one knee an gasps for air. "Uhh... OK, that wasn't supposed to happen... or was it?" She thinks out loud.
Gritting her teeth slightly as she's not fast enough to react to the gun being pulled, the non-leathal round strikes her in the shoulder and sends her spinning causing her hit to not be as clean as she'd like, Ibuki shakes her head to clear it, "Heh, thanks...though I'm not sure I like that..." Her eyes flick to the gun before she draws a kunai from somewhere on her person.
Ignoring the stinging sensation in her arm throws the blunt kunai at Fio but it was merely a distraction as she draws another from somewhere and runs forward, leaps up, spins in mid air as she gains height, and then brings the blunted edge of the weapon down towards Fio's collar bone with as much force as she can possibly muster at the moment, "Not that I can say anything about using weapons!"

Looking up as she regains the air in her lungs, Fio watches Ibuki throw the kunai and looks over as it goes flying, only to realize that it was a trick just in time to see Ibuki coming after her. "Hey!" Fio shouts, showing sudden confidence for a moment as she brings both arms up to deflect that incoming kunai away. Of course it does leave a mark on her arms, but given how those things must hurt even when blunted, it could have been much worse.
"Weapons are useful if you know how to use them," Fio explains. "But even the best soldiers must use our fists and feet too." She adds on that last bit as she brings her booted foot upwards and aims it at Ibuki's chin.

Again her attack is blocked by the other girl, Ibuki decides that perhaps another method of attack might be wise...but before she can consider it too deeply a booted foot is coming straight for her chin. Ibuki launches her hand upwards to catch the toe of the boot then using her upper body strength and Fio's force propels herself upwards avoiding everything but the slight stinging sensation on her hand from contacting the foot.
Now airborn, Ibuki flips over, aims one foot at the cap atop Fio's head and should things work out, slam home with her full weight on the girl's skull, then using her other foot, propel herself away from Fio while knocking her off balance.

Fio's ability to avoid attacks aren't always as good in the fighting in the arena as when she's in the battlefield. That's why Ibuki's able to kick her hard in the skull and knock her down. Her hat flies off too, although it's not too far from where she lands. When Fio recovers from that, she gets up and puts her hat back on, albeit with a little dazednes. She staggers a few times before looking towards Ibuki. "That was unexpected..." She says, staring at Ibuki, but not doing anything really.

As she leaps away, Ibuki twists again in mid-air, so that she is facing Fio as she lands. The ninja allows her to get up and get herself settled a bit before the match continues, "Well I am a ninja, the unexpected is kinda just part of that." She says gently as she readopts a fighting stance. Deciding that being stared at might be a set up for a nasty attack Ibuki goes on the offensive.
Ibuki races forward blurring slightly with her full speed, stops suddenly in front of Fio, pumps chi into her legs, and spins her body as she whips around for a massive roundhouse kick aimed at Fio's gut. Should this first hit land her body will continue with the momentum and whip around for two more hits trailing wispy streamers of bluish white chi and blasts of air from the force of her spin.

"Come on... I'm ready...?" Fio says, sounding somewhat confident but still uncertain as well. "Just come on." Fio watches Ibuki coming after her, and when she comes close enough, Fio thinks she knows what she's doing. She attempts to step forward and use the palm of her hand to strike Ibuki and knock her out of the way. Of course, she's still hit in the stomach as well and is knocked to the ground. "Ouch!" Fio says, sounding a little unsure of what just happened. Then again, who would know what just happened after a hit like that?
Ibuki takes the brunt of that nasty palm strike on her knee of her kicking leg, the force of which knocks her off balance and away from Fio. As she comes to a stop she pops up into a standing position. Then promptly bend over and rubs her poor knee, "Oww...Good job...that stung." She says a little pained from the weird feeling her knee was giving her now.
Taking a moment to size up her opponent, Ibuki decides to try something a bit more basic. Using her good leg she springs forward slides to a stop and attempts to grip Fio's clothes with her hands as her hip slams into the other girl's and then flip Fio over her head and slam her home into the ground.

"You can come at me, yeah!" Fio says, still somewhat weak and uncertain, but she's not about to let Ibuki have her way. She attempts to steady herself for the throw, but it's not enough, and Ibuki winds up slamming her into the ground. Her hat comes off yet again, and Fio lays seemingly motionless for a moment. Then she holds her head in pain and starts to stand up, pausing as she realizes something's not right. "M-my hat!" Fio looks around dazedly before going to grab it off the ground. As she puts it back on, Fio stares at Ibuki and says, "I... I really think that you're doing great, but I'm not done fighting!"

Ibuki blinks slightly at the reaction to Fio's reaction to her hat being knocked off, "Umm I think it's over there..." She points feebly at the place a moment after Fio had already found it. Letting her stand up again, Ibuki takes her fighting stance and looks the soldier girl over before deciding upon her next action, and then she smiles at the other girl's energy.
"Alright that's the attitude lets make this a great fight!!!" She draws another kunai from her person, "Get ready, here I come!" She warns her foe before she charges the blunted weapon with her chi winds her arm up and sends her kunai flying with full force right at Fio's chest, if it hits right it might break bone or leave a bruise but it shouldn't pierce the other girl unless she's just unlucky.

"I... well, OK!" Fio says weakly as she keeps herself standing through determination and courage. She stares at Ibuki, trying to match her moves, but it's not easy given how she's gotten beaten up by this ninja rather noticeably. "Let's finish this... I think?" With a kunai coming at her, Fio thinks quickly and fires... apparently thinking too quickly. The bullet slows the blade, but that's not a lot to say when it hits Fio and knocks her back. She yelps and holds the spot on her chest where it hits. She doesn't say anything or look up, just too intent on keeping herself standing.
As the bullets strike the kunai, Ibuki is pleased that it keeps its course and isn't knocked back at her by her opponents attack for once. The brown clad ninja girl notes that the other girl is fighting to keep herself standing and she's not a particularly cruel person she desires to end the fight as soon as possible. She focuses on how best to achieve this.
"Alright then! Let's see if we can finish this with a flourish!" Ibuki closes the distance with Fio, reaching up with both her hands to attempt to first hit her with a double strike, grab her clothes again, and then violently spin her head first into the ground with amazing force...hopefully enough to knock the girl out!!!

As Ibuki comes at Fio, the soldier's got a surprise ready: She's brought out her tonfa and is attempting to swing it at Ibuki and hit her hard enough to take her down. Of course, things don't always go as planned for Fio. The four-eyed soldier is caught just as Ibuki grabs her, meaning that she knocks herself down as well as Ibuki. Fio tumbles a few feet away and lays on her stomach, her hat lying just in front of her head. It looks almost like she did a successful impression of a cartoon coyote,... in more ways than one.
Because somehow, Fio manages to slowly push herself back up and get into a very weak fighting stance. Ibuki may have thought she had Fio on the ropes, but the soldier's back up and ready for one more go... that is, after she's gotten her hat back on. "Uh... was I supposed to be finished there?" She wonders aloud weakly.
Ibuki almost has to chuckle as she is very surprised by the massive and unexpected counter attack that Fio had waiting for her. That thought lasts for a few seconds before she is slamed rather hard into the ground she notes a painful popping sound from her shoulder as she lands wrong but rolls away and then as she pops up she slams her shoulder into the wall to put it back into socket properly, "Wow! I'm impressed that was pretty good! Give me more of that!!" She roars.
"I guess if you're going to pull out moves like I should as well!" Her eyes flash as she channels chi throughout her body in a momentary but quite visible surge, "Let's start the counter attack now!" Ibuki makes a dash for Fio as though she were going to tackle her, but suddenly she drops into a slide, if Fio isn't quick she'll find Ibuki slide between her legs, stand up in a fluid motion, wrap her arms around her neck, and then give a nasty twist that if Fio weren't a trained fight would definitely kill her!

That's one dangerous and nasty looking slide coming at Fio, and she's looking pretty weak. In fact, one might think that she's on her way out, especially since Ibuki just managed to successfully slide into Fio. But as she starts to go down, Fio shoots out her palm once again and hits Ibuki, knocking her away just as Fio is hit. Again, both fighters hit each other, but Fio seems to be hurt more.
Fio seems to rather enjoy hitting Ibuki with those counter attacks, "Oof!" She groans as her ribs take a massive hit from Fio's palm and she slides away from the force of the blow, though she did at least manage to start the manuver and partially jerk Fio's neck but it seemed a costly gamble to the ninja girl. "You're doing exceptionally well!" She enthuses to the other girl.
"But I'm not finished yet either!" She roars, closing the distance between them as she has multiple times this match Ibuki summons a ball of chi energy around her right hand, she then attempts to slam this glowing fist right into Fio's ribs, and should it land there will be a massive spike of chi inside Fio's body as the two fighters are surrounded by a blue ball of Ibuki's chi then Fio will be launched into the nearest wall from the explosive release of the foreign chi inside the soldier girl's body!

Fio is hit, barely even able to see anything coming right now. She can't even brace herself for crashing into the wall. She hits it with a bone-crunching smash, and then staggers forward to fall flat on her face.

Ibuki seems prepared for a counter of some variety, so it is a few moments before she lets out a little sigh, turns to the NL film crew and gives the camera a flirty wink, "That was harder than expected but it was fun!" Then she turns back to her downed opponent and makes sure she's okay before the NL med crew takes over, "Good fight and thanks! We'll have to try again another time." She smiles beneath her mask, the other girl might be unconscious but Ibuki hopes at some level she had heard her. Then...the ninja is just gone in a puff of a smoke bomb!
