Cammy - Marz's Mission

Description: Marz is being uncommonly nice to Cammy. The Killer Bee, for her part, is quite happy to officially assign to Marz what she apparently wants to do anyway. Also, Shadaloo seems to have suffered a recent casualty and Marz is on clean up duty.

Marz is nothing if not conscientious about the feelings of her fellow dolls. She, personally, didn't care a jot about Cat. Cat was an animal whose existence she could not fathom the meaning for. However, Cammy liked Cat, and the fact that Cat is no more will probably upset her. But not nearly so much as the awful mess that had been made of Cat. So, Marz, in a rare display of emotion over duty, has rescheduled her meetings with underlings in order to, instead, clean the chambers.

The chambers are sparkling and clean. The only evidence that anything strange has happened is the small black bag in the far corner of the room. And the fact that Marz is wearing a yellow apron and thick rubber gloves. Blood is difficult to get out, but it isn't like Marz doesn't have a great deal of experience with that particular dilemma. The young Doll is now surveying the room with a critical eye. Every scrap of fur and dirt that she could find has been eradicated with merciless precision.

Mission: Complete.

Cammy meanwhile yawns and rolls out of bed next door. She likes to get up fashionably late, and she needs to keep well rested just in case! And besides, if she's awake she finds herself thinking about Quon a lot, and it's kinda depressing, him being in jail and all. And she's a little nervous about Lord Vega paying her a visit about it, now that she knows that he knows.

Given that, it's quite a relief to emerge from her own corner of their barracks like home to only see Marz there. "Good morning, Marz." she offers, and then her gaze drifts down to the bloodied apron. "What have you been doing?" she asks. Obvious question. Rubber gloves and an apron? "Someone got beaten up?".

"Yes." Marz says, and this is not, technically, a lie. Someone has been beaten up. Somewhere. Just, not here. Or anywhere that is relevant.

"I have been cleaning the chambers." She continues. "However." And one rubber glove is peeled off with a *snap*. "There are some things I would like to discuss with you regarding my current duties. As you have just gotten out of bed." Her eye drifts to the clock, and she looks, clearly disapprovingly, back at her commanding officer. "Why don't you freshen up and I will make you some nutritious porridge before we talk on the matter."

Whether or not Cammy accepts, Marz is already moving to the small kitchen unit, in order to begin preparations. The apron taken off and deposited to the side, to avoid any further comments in that direction.

Marz is German, of course she's prompt in the mornings. Cammy is, of course, not! And, MmmmMmmmm, nutritious porridge, how could anybody say no. In fact, Cammy is a bit self conscious about that lately when it dawned on her just how much cheesecake she's been wolfing down lately. "Nutritious porridge sounds good. I have eaten much too much lately. All these Southtown missions, with so much food around.".

Someone being beaten up is hardly news around here, so the bloodied apron is paid no further heed. "I will go get ready while you cook.". And with that she vanishes back into her own little corner, to shower and change into a fresh blue uniform that looks exactly the same as the old blue uniform. The shower does not take long, though no doubt Marz is long since finished with the porridge by then, and when Cammy emerges, she has a huge mass of blonde down her back. The braids, the braids! That /will/ take a while, but she can do that while talking to Marz.

Marz offers the porridge, lightly salted though without any extraneous additional toppings. Marz is not the most exciting chef in the world. It is steaming, though, kept nice and hot and timed to be just about right after Cammy's morning routine. The girl has a talent for scheduling, and she knows how long it usually takes the others to get themselves ready. This is in no way creepy.

"Eat. I will deal with your hair whilst we discuss things." She says, being as helpful as she can be, all things considered. It'd make it easier to break the bad news when all this is done.

Cammy frowns a little at Marz, as she settles down onto the main sofa, to receive her porridge, Scottish style. One brow is raised when Marz offers to braid her hair for her, and then the raised brow melts away into a somewhat suspicious look.

This is not Marz-like behaviour at all.

"Okay..." Doll Zero says, hesitantly. "Discuss what?" she asks. "What is wrong?". As it is clear that something is wrong. Her heart beats a bit faster as she thinks of Lord Vega and what has been going on lately. "Is Lord Vega upset for some reason?" she asks.

"I do not believe so." Marz says, "I haven't spoken with him at all for some time, though. It is possible. Things have been progressing relatively smoothly for us, however, so I would be hard pressed to see why."

Marz begins to braid Cammy's hair, quite careful of course. She doesn't understand why the other dolls bothered with such things, but pride in ones appearance is probably healthy. She just preferred a more practical haircut. Long braids just seemed to beg people to grab them, in her opinion.

"I would like to discuss Gedo High with you, Killer Bee. I assume you read my report. Enough time has now elapsed that any immediate memory of my presence has likely faded amongst the general population. I would like to return on a long term infiltration assignment."

People just underestimate the value of long braids when it comes to balancing. It's like a tail, almost. Or something. That has to be some point to such a wildly impractical hairstyle, right?

"Very well, that is good news." she replies, relieved. "I have more fighting data for the Master. Hakan, the oil wrestler. I do not think Shadaloo will be very interested in him, though.". Poor Hakan. "Gedo High, mmm, OK. I have been there. The students are quite uncooperative." she says, nose wrinkling. "And annoying.".

She glances up at Marz while being braided. "You have any specific goals in mind?" she asks, curious.

Marz nods her head. Remaining diplomatically quiet on the subject of wrestlers. Oh how she hates them. Ever since her encounters with Vyle, she despises them. A loud, impractical, uncouth fighting style if there ever was one. Even the 'good' ones were too muscular, and the female ones! What is wrong with clothes?!

She allows herself a thin little smile. "They are. Rude, obnoxious, overbearing. But they are also passionate. During the Southtown Wars, the student bodies of the various schools were major obstacles. I believe that they house the future. One of their number, Megane, has also caught my attention. I believe he would be a valuable addition to our ranks, and I would like to win him over."

"Mmmm, well, OK. You have his fighting data?" Cammy asks. "Is Lord Vega going to be interested in him?" she wonders. "I need to talk to the Master soon anyway, I suppose I will bring this up then, but he will probably not be too interested unless Megane is really something special."
"Assuming that he is not...", for Ryus do not grow on trees, "...I imagine Lord Vega will leave it to us. I myself see no issue with it, so very well, consider yourself assigned, unless Lord Vega reverses my decision.".

And as for muscles... look at Cammy's stomach. She has a /six pack/. Perhaps thats why she covers herself up in a cloak all the time.

Marz nods her head. "I have his data, to some extent. He was able to cloak the majority of his techniques from me." And that says a lot. Even though she might not have a lot of fighting power, when it comes to analysis, Marz is amongst the best in Shadaloo. Her data analysis skills have helped expose the weak points in many fighters, and she made it a point to be kept up to date with all the data she could get.

"His style is not dissimilar to my own. Largely reactive, though he is able to utilize a large amount of chi energy which makes him difficult to deal with. I suspect that he could be a threat to our low and mid-ranking membership, but any operative of elite status should have no trouble with him at this stage in his development."

"OK. Well, that means that Lord Vega is very unlikely to be personally interested in him.". Cammy thought that about Quon, though, so... "I will bring it up with him anyway, just in case. And I will tell you, if he has orders on the subject.".

She tilts her head, pondering. "I think I might have met Megane myself. My memory is bad, though, so, maybe not." she mutters, waving a red gauntleted hand. "You can check that all our files on the Gedo students are up to date while you are there, as well. I was investigating the schools briefly myself, and I confess that I did assume that you would continue your work at Gedo High. No other Shadaloo agent is there, that I know of, so it would be good for you to cover it.".

Marz nods again, "No other agent is in the area, and I will go disguised. However. If I entered too swiftly after a public fight, unnecessary attention may be brought to my presence. I suspect Megane will be able to see through my disguise, but if I have gauged his personality correctly, his curiosity will outweigh his fears."

She keeps on braiding, fingers working on auto-pilot as she continues. "I will require a small increase in my assigned personnel to cover my absence, to ensure that resources remain distributed properly. But as our operations are becoming more focused in preparation for the tournament, I do not believe this will be a problem."

"No, probably not. I doubt that is a problem. Very well." Cammy replies, lulled into a sense of complacency by being braided and fed. Though no doubt Marz has some sort of ulterior motive here, she certainly is trying very hard to get Cammy's easily obtained approval!

"Just don't do anything that will upset Lord Vega, and I'm sure you will be fine. Be careful, too, some of the Gedo students fighting ability is rated most highly, so you might be in some danger there. Also as far as I am aware the NESTS are still unhappy with us, and they might have their own agents at Gedo High for all I know, they might be seeking revenge for their setbacks.".

Marz nods once more, and, having braided most of Cammy's hair, steps back. "I will keep that in mind, thank you Killer Bee." She says, moving backwards to pick up the bag of cat. Truth be told, Marz really does like the other dolls, she's just bad at showing it most of the time. Right now, though, she's going to have to deliver some bad news...

As she heads to the door, she explains. "I will go and make the necessary preparations now. Oh. And, I should mention...." She stops, turning in the doorway to look at Cammy.

"Juri killed Cat."

Cammy reaches around to inspect her braids now Marz has stopped. Well, it's true, that sort of task would bore any hairdresser, so she's not too surprised to find them half done. She works on finishing the job, practiced enough to do it almost unconsciously while talking to Marz.

"She... she did?" Cammy asks, voice catching. If she wasn't in the base she'd perhaps be more emotional, but here, she puts even more effort into controlling herself. Her mouth twitches a bit, about to frame the word 'Why', but the word doesn't come.

Cammy already knows why. Because Juri is an evil psychopath. Like most people here. Poor Cat. Poor Quon.

"Okay..." she eventually says, voice tightly controlled, as she bows her head to focus on doing the tips of her braids.

Marz is surprised by how well Cammy takes it. She feels bad, really. Which is not something she normally feels. The girl turns the emotion over in her head for a few moments, and then nods. "I am sure this must be very difficult for you." She says, perhaps an edge of genuine empathy edging into her tone. "She is doing these things to get to you, however. She wishes to break you, because that is what she wants. To hurt us and, when she can, kill us. She expects us to yield because she thinks we are weak."

Marz's tone is very hard, now. As hard as her eyes, as hard as diamond. "I will not break. I will expect you not to break either, Killer Bee. When the time comes, Lord Vega *will* order us to kill Juri. If he does not do it himself. Try to ignore her until that point."

"I try and ignore her as much as possible. And I know her well enough now. She does all sorts of things, to get a response. The thing she hates the most, I think, is to be ignored.". Cammy smiles a thin smile, thinking back on when she got invited to the Shadaloo team under Juri, and Juri's annoyance that Cammy didn't bat an eyelid.

"And Lord Vega prefers us to her, I know this. He appreciates our obedience. And that is what really matters, at the end of the day. Nobody likes Juri. Nobody. Lord Vega just wishes to use her.". While the Dolls get to bask in the appreciation of their Master, at least. "And I hope you are right, the base would be much more agreeable without her in it.".

"She has told me she wants to kill Lord Vega." Marz says, bluntly. "There can be no other outcome to this desire. I have taken the liberty of asking agent Crimson Viper to direct her attention towards her, and I have every confidence that when more evidence of this is accumulated, Lord Vega will choose to erase her from the face of the earth."

She salutes, sharply, with the hand not holding Juri's latest insult. "Until next time ... Cammy."

"Lord Vega knows this, I think. I warned him about her insubordination myself, but he will not act. He is confident that he can control her, I know, but I think she is a traitor, waiting to happen.". Cammy's nose wrinkles in distaste, but she shrugs. Lord Vega wants her around, so thats that, unfortunately.

She gets up abruptly when saluted, to return the salute to the other Doll. "Very well, Marz. Good luck on your assignment at Gedo.".
