Description: In a boxing ring in Las Vegas, the Killer Bee meets a tonfa armed ninja and frankensteiners and suplexes meet police batons Japanese style.
Las Vegas, a city that's always bustling with action, thanks to casinos and other forms of entertainment that make this quite the venue for tourists and people looking for excitement in their lives. And one of those forms of entertainment happens to be fighting, like boxing and mixed martial arts... and of course the Neo League.
On Fremont Street tonight, a special fighting area has been set up in the center of Fremont Street, with countless crowds gathered to watch the Neo League fight that's taking place here. The announcer, clad in a tuxedo and cluching his microphone, announces the first competitor: Maki Genryusai. The blonde-haired ninja is off to the side warming up and greeting a few fans, whlie she waits for her opponent to be announced.
Cammy does not react so well to crowds - she might have a few fans, but after previous mindwiping she doesn't actually remember ever participating in one of these before, so she's actually a little bit intimidated, though none of this features on her blank face. If anybody in the crowd is shouting abuse or support, she does not react.
As the announcer declares her to be Cammy, the Killer Bee, she's just finishing rebraiding one of her long braids, which for the impassive Doll is surely a sign of great nervousness indeed. She glances over at the cameras a little warily. Maybe Quon will be watching, she thinks, as she finishes with her hair and steps forward.
As Maki finishes up, she hears the announcer state her opponent's name. The name seems a little familiar, and Maki will soon find out why. As she turns to face her opponent, she recognizes her face and her body features. Even though she was wearing a large garment that covered most of her body, she still remembers that previous encounter. Almost immediately, Maki's eyes narrow into a fierce glare as she grips her tonfa tight.
"You... You're the one I encountered in Metro City!" Maki grits her teeth as she makes her way towards the center of the fighting area. "I wonder though..." A slight smirk starts to form on Maki's face, almost sarcastic and evil, "Are you more challenging than the punks I clean up in Metro City?" Maki jumps up and down a few times to get the blood flowing, then gets into her fighting stance. "Let's see what you got!"

"You have a good memory." Cammy replies, deadpan, as she raises her red gauntleted arms in a defensive sort of stance. "You found me irritating, I remember... you thought I was a fight promoter.". There is a faint hint of a smile at that, and she shakes her head slightly, braids dancing. "I suppose you are right in a manner of speaking.".
She seems happy to circle, for now, and blinks at Maki. "Okay..." she says softly, in response to Maki's challenge. "Come in and find out.".

"All right, if that's how you want things, then I'll be glad to oblige you!" Maki replies as she twirls her tonfa in a slightly taunting manner. "I have no idea who you truly are, but I do know that you will get a true sample of what the Bushin-Ryu martial arts style is about!"
And Maki looks to prove that point in spades. She jumps onto a nearby barrier-type object, crouches down quickly, and then flies directly at Cammy with her leg outstretched in what could be like a flying missile kick!

Glancing Blow

Cammy twists out of the way with preternatural speed, going into a cartwheel - but the kick grazes across her back regardless, not full forced, but enough to send someone unprepared for it spinning to the deck.
Cammy fortunately is prepared, so rather than falling she bounces back a step and then leaps up into the air, coming down directly on top of Maki, hopefully. If she manages to land more or less on her her hands will at first grab and then snap forward, throwing Maki backwards onto the floor.

As soon as Maki hits the ground once again, she crouches down briefly to survey her opponent, and wait to see what happens next. When she sees Cammy coming at her, Maki's first instinct is to dodge out of the way. But apparently, Cammy is faster than Maki in this case, as she manages to grab Maki and smash her into the ground. This causes a real headache for Maki as she lies on the ground for a moment, holding her head as she gets back up.
"You're pretty fast," Maki comments, "But you can't rely on your speed all the time." Maki finishes that sentence with a swift kick aimed at Cammy's stomach.

Cammy is already back in her somewhat defensive stance, and a red gauntlet slides down towards her belly, Maki's kick striking it and being nudged to one side. "I don't." she replies, simply. "But thank you for the compliment. Now try and block this!".
Having blocked Maki she actually backflips away, before hurling herself at her, boots first, twisting around in a spiral as she goes.

Here comes Cammy again, this time acting like a human missile herself, spinning around as she rushes at Maki. Without missing a beat, Maki brings her guard up to deflect Cammy's boots away as best as she can. Of course, hitting her forearms does hurt a little, but it's better than being double-booted.
"Oww, that smarts," Maki comments to herself before turning to face Cammy, not smiling nor frowning. "Seems I underestimated you. But I'm just warming up." Maki maintains a stern glare at Cammy, not budging in the least.

"Okay." Cammy says simply in reply to Maki, blinking those blank blue eyes. "I do not think I have done this before.". She doesn't just hang back though to give Maki time to ponder her next move, when there is a slight pause she jumps up into the air, impossibly high, and comes down in a tiny foetal ball, once again hopefully on top of her foe.
She will then try and slam into her, bowling her over onto the ground as she goes.

"Then you're gaining some experience," Maki says as she rushes towards Cammy at the same time that Cammy rushes at her. But just before Cammy can strike, Maki does a forwards somersault into the air, landing in a crouched position once again. But she doesn't stay stationary for too long.
Rather, Maki fluidly switches into a position where she's balancing on her tonfa and then starts spinning around like a human whirlwind while extending her leg for a fierce spinning kick!

Ouch. Cammy promptly eats boot, in fact several boots, or maybe the same boot several times, as she tries to pull back away from the spinning whirlwind, but is just too slow.
Now she's a little way back she eyes Maki somewhat malevolently, some emotion flicking in those eyes. She suddenly goes down into a handstand, and practically throws herself at her foe feet first, her legs seeking to wrap around Maki's neck - and then flip her over onto the ground.

Maki's never really watched wrestling before, but she's heard of the Frankensteiner, and she knows that it can be painful from what she's seen of it. And unfortunately, it seems Cammy's got the upper hand on the speed (or should that be upper-foot?) Either way, Cammy grabs Maki around the neck with her legs, and despite Maki attempting to knock her off, Cammy flips her over, causing Maki to land on a shoulder that happened to be injured earlier. This means she cries out in pain instead of just grunting.
Muttering in Japanese, Maki struggles to roll over on her good shoulder, while saying what most likely would be considered bad words in her native language. Using her tonfa to push her up, Maki stares at Cammy and says, "I have no idea who you truly are, but your skills are good." Stepping back a few steps, Maki says, "But don't think this is over just yet!"

Cammy smiles faintly at that, accepting the praise. "Thank you. You hit me quite good just now as well." she allows, but then she darts in - jumping up at the last minute, hoping to land on the far side of Maki behind her, as quick as a cat. She promptly goes down low and tries to wrap arms around Maki's waist, before heaving her backwards over her head in a German suplex.
Lord Vega just loves wrasslin' apparently.

Cammy loves wrestling, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, when it's applied to Maki, it hurts quite a bit, meaning that it's a lot more painful than how it can look. Maki finds herself caught way off-guard and is suplexed onto the ground. She lets out another cry of pain as her leg hits the ground. Now with one bad shoulder and one bad leg, Maki's got herself in a bit of a situation that makes it a miracle that she gets back up.
"I'm not... done just... yet!" Maki looks at Cammy and suddenly glows with her chi, and then rushes at Cammy and attempts to deliver a swift series of strikes and kicks, complete with a swift throw if it works.

Cammy sees Maki about to give it her all, and she crouches down slightly, hands lifted up and ready to try and throw herself out of the way - but ready just in case she's too slow as Maki is coming in real fast!
And that was a wise course of action too as Cammy is indeed caught, kicks and punches slamming into her thin, yet somehow quite tough, body, some of them caught on red gauntleted forearms but many not.
She then does a little jump, coming straight down like a swan dive - to balance briefly on her hands, before pushing off to power straight up, spinning like a corkscrew as she goes, boots flailing and ready to batter anybody nearby.

"You won't get me..." Maki says weakly as she tries to keep herself up. "I'll..." Maki is cut off as her attempt to move away is interrupted by her getting hit directly and sent staggering backwards into the ropes. She stumbles forwards and heads for Cammy, attempting one last strike before she falls flat on her face.

Cammy sighs as Maki just keeps on going, bouncing off of the ropes and back towards Cammy, flailing wildly. The Killer Bee easily ducks beneath the strike, and shakes her head a little at the sight. "You should give up maybe... or you're going to get hurt." she says calmly. "It's only a tournament.". Lord Vega has said nothing about Maki.
But she assumes Maki is not going to go quietly, full marks for resolve, and so she snaps out a quick kick aimed at the reeling opponents temple, trying to put an end to consciousness and the current battle.

Maki might have missed with her last strike, but that doesn't mean she's out. Through some miracle (or just her determination to keep going,) Maki manages to dodge the incoming attack at her head.... and then turns to face Cammy again, albeit somewhat weakly. But she's still going, just like that infamous battery advertised by bunnies playing drums!
"Thought you... had me?" Maki says, managing a slightly weak grin. "Well, it's not over yet!" With that, Maki goes for Cammy and attempts a simple over-the-shoulder throw.

Cammy gets grabbed and hauled over Maki's shoulder - indeed, she practically leaps into it! But then when she's down, her thin forearms wrap around Maki's legs, and she tries to surge to her feet and upend Maki at the same time, grabbed feet being lifted just as an elbow slams down into her belly.
Assuming, of course, that she manages to pull this feat off.

Weakened perhaps, Maki still manages to show that she's still a formidable foe. She steps backward just as Cammy starts to get back up, meaning it's a wasted effort for her. But not for Maki, who attempts to return the favor by giving her a swift uppercut with her tonfa!

Cammy hasn't had much luck dodging the fast tonfa, but this time she manages to duck down just fast enough so that the uppercut sails past her forehead into empty space, punching a braid in the air as it comes down behind her head perhaps but nothing more painful than that.
She backflips away and goes into her defensive stance, eyes narrowed. "You're very quick. And very persistent.". Ducking down briefly she launches herself back up into the air, coming down on Maki with arms and legs spread, ready to try and catch her, grab her, throw her.

Thrown once again, Maki hits the ground with a cry of pain. The official goes over to check on her to see if she's out for the count, but Maki slowly opens her eyes and rolls over once again. Getting onto all fours and then into her stance in a bent-over manner, Maki looks over at Cammy. "I'm still not ready to admit defeat!" She stands back, focusing on herself.

Cammy could apparently use a bit of a breather herself, as she goes back to circling Maki after throwing her around again, not pressing the attack just yet. "You are very determined... Okay. You going to do something now?" she asks, breathing a little heavier than it was when the battle started. She's thrown a fair bit of effort Maki's way, by now.
"OK, enough waiting!" Maki says as she gets some energy back. "Time to get back into the fight!" With that, Maki takes a few running, albeit staggered, steps towards Cammy, and then attempts a hop up onto her while flipping upside down. If this works, she'll do a one-eighty in the air and slam Cammy to the ground!

It's only a little throw, and Cammy knows her way around throws it seems, as she catapults backwards with the power of her own legs adding to Maki's attack with such force that she does a quick backflip, boots landing onto the floor with a loud crack. She sways a bit but is mostly upright despite the abuse.
Then she jumps forward, spinning through the air to land before Maki, her fist jabbing out at her midriff. "Let's end it..." she says, deadpan. "Maybe we can have tea after some time and talk about it.".

Spinning at Maki, the girl does a spin of her own. Albeit kind of staggering again, Maki spins out of the way and then attempts to go after Cammy again. "You're no top, nor do you belong on top!" Maki mutters as she attempts a kick from behind.

Cammy keeps on spinning, though she twists sideways and Maki's kick slides past her ribs. Then Cammy's hand snaps down, trying to grab it. "No... top?" she asks, a little bemused, but then she's focused more on the fighting then the conversation.
Her other hand quickly snaps down to try and grab Maki's leg in a two handed grip, before hauling her down to the ground.

Maki drops to the ground and writhes in pain as she lands. She struggles to get up, and in frustration, ends up simply attempting to strike Cammy as she gets up... very slowly.

Slow enough that it's almost laughably easy for Cammy to catch the tonfa as it jabs out at her, one gauntleted hand grasping Maki's wrist firmly. Then Cammy dodges under the gripped wrist quickly and tries to pull hard, sending Maki down to the floor in a rather elementary, but blindingly quickly pulled off, throw.

Maki's wrist is hurting like hell, like you wouldn't believe even. As Cammy grabs her, she gets thrown into the air and then onto the ground. Writhing in pain, Maki can barely even think straight as she looks up, and then her eyes start to close. The official rushes over and looks at her, and then waves his arms to signal it's over!

Well, at least Maki was only /just/ put down, not like she was blasted across the ring by a blast of chi while already on her last legs. Cammy beams at the downed Maki, turns to the cameras and offers a grin and a wave. Maybe Quon is watching, she thinks! Though she's not stupid enough to actually mention his name. Maybe Maki will want tea after all but she's not in a fit state to ask right now...
