Juri - A Dark War Erupts in Heyuan

Description: Tensions between Shadaloo and NESTS have been high ever since the organizations have become aware of each other. Only recently have these tensions begun to elevate into all-out war. In Heyuan, Guangdong China the temperature rises to a boil and the two sides clash in an epic, if somewhat unexpected, battle! In the end a base was abandoned, a cover-up was begun on the state media, and only the very select few will know what happened there that dark, rainy night.

HEYUAN, GUANGDONG CHINA - A picturesque city in Southeastern China, known primarily for its thriving mushroom trade and proximity to China's incredible national rainforest scene. The city is very much the picture of a stereotypical, forest-laden Asian town, its proximity to Guangzhou and China's Southeastern border, and location nestled between two major highways make this an excellent place to establish bases.

0200 Hours - it is raining. It's raining almost half of the time in Heyuan. The current scene takes place outside of a heavily fortified establishment on Heyuan's outermost edges. To casual onlookers, it's nothing particularly interesting, but it's not being viewed by casual onlookers.

Angel clings full-bodied to a wide tree-branch overlooking this particular warehouse's rooftop. She's done up in black fatigues, a black cotton skullcap, and eyeblack - the eyeblack isn't necessary, but it makes her look frightening when she frowns, and football players look like badasses. Currently, she has a heavy-looking backpack on. Lord alone knows what's inside of it.

She's lowering her accomplice onto said rooftop by means of a high-capacity spidersilk cord (NESTS genetech spiders are goddamn frightening). Said accomplice is a pint-sized teenage girl. "Malin!!" Angel's whisper is intense, sibilant. "See if you can find a way in, I'll keep a lookout for the guards! Remember!" Angel leans forward, to make eye contact with the younger woman. "If you do somethin' like squeal on us..." Angel is positive Malin won't - Angel has taken Malin to at least seven bars in the last two weeks. Even so...

She drags a finger across her throat. "Gggchxtht!

--

Malin is, in truth, starting to get a little bit tired of the partying. It's not that she doesn't appreciate a bar every once in a while. Geez, she's been drinking since she was old enough to steal beer. But, she doesn't have the advantage of being a genespliced freak of nature to help her system recover from the drinking and the boozing. Throw in the stress that being held against your will naturally puts a person under, and it is starting to mount up on the poor girl.

Still, it isn't like breaking into Shadaloo strongholds is particularly new territory for the girl. Malin is wearing similar fatigues to Angel, but she's point-blank refused the makeup. The girl touches down onto the roof of the stronghold with barely a sound, and only then looks up at Angel, as she is threatened. She sighs.

"I'm a lot of things, Angel, but Malin *isn't* a squealer." She smirks, and then adds, "But I'm sure the guys I work for are probably real curious about where I've run off to, anyway."

... Just a little in joke, really.

She starts to creep across the top of the facility, regardless. There's usually a hatch or access door that can be jimmied open pretty quietly, and from there they could get in and start messing stuff up. The messing stuff up part is actually new ground to Malin, usually she'd just steal whatever looked shiniest. But it couldn't be that complicated, could it? Just make a mess. Maybe blow something up.

Why was Juri here again?

Oh right, something about some intel. Noise in the wires she is sure. Still, the noise seemed to indicate that there was something that was going to be happening, and soon. Juri isn't the type of person to actually be used as a defensive measure. Her psych profile indicates that she gets bored quickly, loses attention faster, and tends to turn violent when not sufficiently stimulated. Which is exactly the situation she finds herself in when Malin and Angel choose to try and invade a Shadaloo base that Juri just /happened/ to be assigned to patrol.

Fate is a funny thing sometimes.

The insane Taekwondoka was just about to leave when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Her left eye to be precise. Perhaps most people would have attributed that suspicious sway of the tree branch over the warehouse to be caused by wind, or a squirrel of some sort. But the readout from the Feng Shui Engine clearly indicates to Juri that it wasn't any sort of wind, and she knows from experience that there aren't squirrels that can generate chi signatures like /that/.

A dim purple pinpoint of light from ground level is the only thing that will indicate to Angel and Malin they've been spotted. At least until Juri's voice, a dry menacing purr, can be heard from behind Angel. "You know, you girls /really/ ought to invest in learning some strategic sign language." Angel will likely have just enough time to turn her head and look behind her to see Juri: Dressed in her usual outfit, and with that sadistic slasher smile gleaming bright in the light of the moon.

*CRACK*

The branch that Angel was using is broken with a single downwards kick, and begins to swing downward toward the roof. If Angel doesn't simply jump off she'll likely fall off when it finall does impact the top of the roof. As for Juri? She grindrails the tree branch all the way down to the roof. The thin straps of cloth on the bottom of her feet are the only things that protect her from the massive splinters she would obtain otherwise. Once she lands gracefully she'll hum softly to herself while swinging the loose end of her belt in one hand, "Well well well. Two little lost kittens, all alone. Are you looking for your mommy, perhaps? Why don't you come here and I'll send you to her."

--

Aw yeah, aw yeah, aw yeah. Malin's touching down onto the roof of the Shadaloo warehouse like she's a -cat-, and Angel's dropping the rope down behind her, getting to her feet atop that tree branch. She takes a moment to check her surroundings, reshoulder the backpack she's carrying - and frown, briefly, at the pinprick of purple light down over by the front of the warehouse.

Wind and rain whip into Angel's features, her hair momentarily blows across her eyes, streaking the eyeblack over her cheeks. In retrospect, it was a dumb idea. That isn't important, however - she SEES something. NESTS agents are trained to cater to their strengths. Angel, being a glamorized thug, is by no means capable of detecting Juri's chi readings (or whatever). She is, however, capable of seeing the utter -control- the woman exudes from her movements. That turn. The smile.

She's only a little surprised at the visit. Juri's quickly given Angel's full attention - well, after the Mexican's done gauging the distance between branch and rooftop. She's -about- to say something back to Juri. Something catty, by the look of her narrowed eyes, the sneer pulling at her lips - and then Juri's kicking the tree branch in half.

"--Shit!!" Angel's hardly whispering -now-, considering Juri's bringing a goddamn tree down on top of the roof. Her reflexes are all that save her from breaking a hip -- extraneous equipment strapping is lashed between wrists and overtop the branch, providing Angel with a makeshift zip-line that has her streaking towards the roof, hitting it -hard-, and rolling to a stop nearby Malin.

She rises, perhaps a little bewildered, but Juri's dramatic speech gets her brain working again, and quickly. A gleam plays in the back of her eyes. "Heh heh." The NESTS agent idly hands her backpack to Malin, and works that equipment harnessing over her right hand, catches it in her left.

"Guess we found the right place, at least~ I was worried it'd be a boring take, too!" Juri's terrifying, but Angel's not about to run. She's got better ideas. There's no significant change in the way she's using her chi, but anybody with eyes (or eye) can catch the subtle shift in her posture. It might be Fightan Time.

Malin is taken a little bit by surprise. The thing is, as the tree branch breaks, she's already moving to draw a weapon from her cache of inexhaustible sharp and pointy things with which to maim people. Malin doesn't believe in being unprepared, after all, and the day she walks into a Shadaloo facility without a weapon in immediate reach is the day she has grown tired of living.

Maybe it is just because she's so /frustrated/ with her lot in life at the moment, but she really doesn't appreciate Juri's attitude. The woman was just, too cool. Damnit. Nobody should be able to get the drop on Angel! (Angel got the drop on HER and that was bad enough!) Let alone then start throwing out pithy quips! That's HER job! It's totally aggravating.

So, she whips her hand forward, and a perfectly balanced, razor-sharp throwing knife leaves her fingertips. This is done at about the same time as Angel is collecting herself next to the thief-turned-NESTS-agent. Malin, unlike both Juri and Angel, is /not/ smiling. Instead, her words are as cutting as the implement slicing a blinding path through the night towards Juri's left eye.

"When you got to fight, fight. Especially when you got the drop on them, pointy-hair. Geez, you people talk /way/ too much."

... and this, from Malin, she of the constant in-battle commentary.

The wind and the rain doesn't seem to bother Juri too much. After stepping out from under the canopy of the tree though she is very quickly becoming soaked. One hand reaches up to idly push a rain-slicked lock of her back and out of her field of vision. Then that same hand returns to her hip, cocked in an arrogantly assured posture as she reaches up with her left to gently massage one of her own shoulders. "Mmmhmm. The right place at the wrong time to see how many times that ass of yours bounces after being thrown off the roof of a warehouse."

Juri pauses in her quipping though when she sees a knife sliding through the air and toward her direction! Thankfully Malin had the good grace to throw it at her left eye, her Feng Shui Engine, which picks the threat out of the air and highlights it for Juri. From there it's a simple matter to turn her head to the side and let the knife slice her left cheek. Just deep enough to draw blood, which is quickly diluted by the rain and runs down her cheek. Her tongue licks luxuriously over the thinned blood and she purrs, "Oh, the kitten has /claws/. I like that. I think I'll enjoy pulling them out, one by one."

It seems that she is ignoring the 'talking' advice.

There is one liability to attacking Juri first, in any fight, and it's that it basically highlights you as Juri's first target of choice. And with a flash of garish purple light Juri seems to vanish, briefly! Though the motion of the water on the roof parting in her wake indicates that no, Juri didn't teleport: She's just moving really FUCKING FAST toward Malin. So fast in fact that the human eye will only see Juri slow from a blur a few nanoseconds from driving the heel of her right foot toward Malin's stomach. Intending to send the slightly smaller girl sprawling.

--

Angel is still standing next to where Malin had used to be, heavy, suspicious backpack dangling from one outstretched hand. It was SUPPOSED to be taken up by Malin, but Malin is doing her own thing. While the other two ladies run directly into each other, over there, Angel's going to be shouldering her backpack again, waiting, and -watching-.

Certainly Malin's likely to feel left out in the cold, but a glance at her partner's face makes Angel's motive clearly obvious - she's reviewing Juri's efficiency of motion, whatever flaws open up in her attack. While the insane taekwondette is -hella- fast - roofing shudders as though being touched split-seconds AFTER Juri sprints across it - Angel is no stranger to this sort of thing.

The knife on cheek action is a little bewildering - in the sense that Angel's snow-white eyebrows spike, vanish beneath that skullcap. Eyes twinkle, lips pull into a grin. The leather harness on her wrist is pulled tight to the point that fingers blanch, skin dimples from the force. "Heh heh."

She's biding her time. Just wait.

Speed? Malin can do speed.

Now, admittedly, she doesn't have any fancy upgrades or oodles of natural psychic power to rely on. What Malin has is years on the hard streets amongst gangs and criminals where a fraction of a second means the difference between life and death. Juri is fast, but Malin's danger sense is faster, and every scrap of it is screaming at her to not be there any more.

So, when Juri goes to kick her, she's /not/ there any more. She twists around with the kick, coming within a half inch of the heel, but not quite making contact with it. A cartwheel formed by necessity rather than choice puts a little bit of distance between herself and the too-fast woman again, and this time, she's gripping a ... yoyo?

"Yeah, it's cool boss, you just relax, I can take this one!" She shouts, and flicks her wrist towards Juri. The toy unwinds with a frantic buzzing, and it'd be easy to imagine that Malin is making fun of her. Really. Who brings a yoyo to a life or death fight?

But the 'string' is actually razor wire, and at the last moment, sparkling blades spring from the center of the weapon, turning it into a mini-buzzsaw, which aims to punch right into Juri's gut, and distract her enough for Malin to dance backwards over the rooftop, desperate to put enough ground between her and the crazed SIN agent that she could try and deal with that speed a second time.

COMBATSYS: Juri fails to slow Onigumo from Malin with EX Fuhajin.

Juri be nimble, Juri be quick, Juri still ate a rather nasty buzzsaw yoyo to the midsection.

Allow me to elaborate. At first the vicious Taekwondoka was frustrated, her eyebrows narrowing as Malin simply leaped out of the way of her strike. That was not satisfying at all. Still she lowers her leg and has enough time to spare a glance to Angel before, suddenly, the distinct sound of buzzing of the yoyo over the white noise caused by the rain. Juri turns to face the weapon and its her intent to simply kick it out of the way with a flash of purple colored energy.

But not all good plans come to fruition. Juri's timing is off, and the tempest-like flash of purple energy merely dissolves uselessly in the air! Meanwhile Malin's razor tipped weapon carves out several nice slashes in her stomach and forces Juri to finally fall backwards to avoid being cut worse. Violet colored eyes look down at her stomach and her fingers, with fingernails painted a beautiful matching shade of purple I might add, feel her new wounds. The woman then laughs, and laughs uproarously!

"Malin, hidden weapons expert. I see now. I guess I can't take it easy on someone like /you/ after all!" Juri continues laughing softly as she rises to her feet, still holding her new wounds with one hand. There is enough time from her recovery to attack her, but if one waits long enough they'll see her take that very same hand clutching the new wounds and gently, sensuously, lick some of the watered down blood from her index fingers. All the while a bright flash of lightning lights up the battlefield and is soon followed by a resounding, rumbling crash. Juri mumbles, "You're lucky though ... if this base wasn't such a shithole, this roof would be crawling with guards right now."

--

Angel's been watching for some time now. There's quite a lot to -see- - Malin is really wrecking this newcomer, despite Angel's best wagers - but by the time Juri's taking the yo-yo to the stomach, Angel's becoming increasingly aware of the backpack she's carrying. This is primarily a result of the backpack making an alarming, quite-loud *BLEEP*. She casts her gaze first to Juri, then Malin - Malin receives a quick nod (it doubles for a coach's friendly pat on the ass).

While the smaller teen keeps the murderous Juri busy, Angel's getting to work. There's a sudden flareup of the Mexican's latent chi - she summons it into manifestation, and it coalesces around her feet, a brilliant circle of red! Brutally, the NESTS agent *STOMPS* into the roof beneath her, evoking a thundering crash and sending shards of building material in all directions. By the time the debris clears, she's -gone-. There is a hole in the roof where she had been.

Angel falls through the open air of the Shadaloo hangout, executing a quick tuck to get her feet properly aligned with the ground. She's absolutely falling directly into the middle of the Shadaloo break room - lockers and couches dominate the area, and would be in use were more attendants at the stronghold. Angel falls atop a couch in a clatter of debris and molding, concerned more about the backpack she's carrying than anything else - which is why she lands squarely on her ass. Thank god it's a couch.

She is some ten feet beneath the rooftop melee. She can already -hear- running feet coming up the nearby staircase.

COMBATSYS: Angel takes no action.

"Take it easy on Malin, and you'll be six feet under before you can blink, pointy hair."

Malin brushes her fingers through her hair, and decides to honor Juri with a bit more exposition herself. "Do you think Malin just picks these places out of a hat? I do my homework. I know Shadaloo better than Shadaloo knows Shadaloo! I'm the best there is, pointy hair, and if you take your eyes off me for one second, my partner over there will break your skinny little neck."

She's bluffing, of course, but there's no reason to let Juri know that. She had to keep Juri's attention on her. So long as her luck held and she could stay a couple of steps ahead of the competition, she could keep Juri on the back foot, and, hopefully, come out of it in one piece. She wasn't sure on that, though. Sooner or later, she was going to take a hit, and she wasn't sure how many she could actually deal with. Malin is experienced enough to know that people who move that quickly, casually, also tend to hit like a truck. Being hit by trucks is not one of Malin's favorite pastimes. But... Juri had said she'd take it slow, right? Better than a swift and painful death of the poison NESTS had stuck in her veins.

Motivated by that thought, Malin's arm is a sudden blur of motion, aiming to keep up the pressure, though. This time, the weapon hurled at Juri is a far more obvious one. A wide-spread, low-yield NESTS grenade.

Though it might seem that she was completely ignoring Angel, she's not. The explosive is intended primarily to force Juri to act against her, drive her away from the hole, whilst, at the same time, maybe actually hurting her (a girl can hope). Truth be told, Malin had less than no idea how many guards there actually were in the facility. But if Angel could get inside and complete the mission... maybe how long Malin could keep playing dodge-the-slasher-chick would become less important?!

OK, so this Shadaloo base is pretty much in the boonies. It has the most poorly trained, least loyal troops you can find anywhere. Its defensive systems are questionable, counter-measures shot, and you're pretty much guaranteed that at least half of the garrison is going to run away at the sight of trouble because they don't quite have the fear of His Mighty Chin fully impressed into their skulls yet.

But still, when you're knocking holes in the roof and throwing around low-yield grenades? Well don't be surprised when the entire base goes on lockdown. So the first thing Angel might notice after falling through the floor is that reinforced metal gates begin to close down over all the exits. Nothing that would be too much for her to handle, but certainly enough to slow her down. What is more concerning is that the sounds of marching boots can be heard throughout the base. That is going to slow her down a bit more. The warm bodies of low rung Shadaloo grunts are squishy and easy to punch through but there will be a lot of them, and they're probably all waiting right outside that door.

Not that this matters so much for the two on the roof. Instead it's just Juri staring flat-eyed at Malin with an expression that practically screams 'what the fuck is this girl babbling about?' Finally the Taekwondoka shakes her head and sighs, "Whatever, whatever! I'm not /interested/ in listening to your inane chatter." She swerves out of the way of the grenade as it flies past her head, and detonates on the edge of the roof! Low-yield indeed, so but it's still enough to make a small manhole-sized hole. Juri is closing the distance, intentionally moving her body so that Malin is between herself and the hole that Angel descended into.

"I'd rather hear that pretty little mouth of yours scream!"

Juri rushes forward and with a loud kiai attempts to spin her body around into a vertical cartwheel. Her feet alight with violet psycho power as she tries to kick Malin twice with each foot, four hits in total, and if her aim is true ... perhaps knock her into that hole."

Base. On. Lockdown. You think - you would really think - that Angel would have this sort of thing in mind. Malin certainly should. This is to a T the exact same ploy NESTS used to recruit the pint-sized warrior into their employ. Falling for it herself, not even a month after using it?? Well, Angel's bound to feel a little silly.

"...Aw, nuts!!!" The two on the roof will be able to hear her outcry if they're not being too loud exploding each other.

Her first instinct is of course to sprint for the door - this turns into a high-velocity collision with a whole lot of metal and sass as Mexican meets steel. There's a brief, muttered oath - and then Angel's hopping back, vaulting the couch she'd just landed on, and ransacking lockers. Her eyes light up after a moment's perusal - at about the same time, the sound of booted feet stop, and several men shift and assume threatening positions outside of the Shadaloo break room.

Angel, thinking quickly, sets the grenade she's just found in a back pocket. She glances to an air duct, and frowns upon finding that it too is sealed.

What the HELL.

The door begins to open.

Malin does *not* like it when people dodge her explosives. It's so rarely a good sign.

When Juri comes in at her, though, she soon finds she has a whole wealth of other problems to worry about. Like the speed of those kicks. The girl leaps into the air, deciding that 'up' is the correct response to this kind of attack, and as she comes down, it is her turn to stomp her foot hard against the roof. A shiny dagger springs out of the toe of her sneakers, oddly not changed with the rest of her outfit, and she aims to jump up, and spike Juri in the back with it.

If she can manage this, she'll use Juri as an impromptu springboard to vault off of, and wind up teetering at the edge of the rooftop. Mostly to show off. Because she's starting to get cocky, and when Malin gets cocky, she lets the whole world know it. A wide, cheerful grin on her features, she takes a flourishing bow in Juri's direction.

"Wouldn't be the first to want it, but, come /on/ spiky hair. At least try to keep up willya? It's /embarrassing/."

In truth, the effort of keeping up is making Malin start to sweat. But hopefully Angel wouldn't take too long. Surely a little thing like being on lockdown wouldn't prove to be a huge obstacle for the NESTS operative?

Embarrassing isn't the proper word to use. Infuriating is oh-so-much more accurate. A. Juri hates guard duty. B. Juri hates guard duty in the rain. C. Juri hates smart mouthed littled dodgy bitches that refuse to get punched in the teeth. And she certainly hates that so far her attacks have all whiffed spectacularly!

The one thing she doesn't hate? She doesn't hate halter tops. Dear god she's the Francis of MotM.

Her most recently spectacular whiff involved her spinning several times directly toward her opponent before landing and skidding several feet across the rain-slick surface of the roof. She grunts slightly, and as Malin is flipping through the air and preparing to fling another knife she can likely see her turning her head to the left. The baleful glow and high pitched whine of Juri's Feng Shui Engine charging up, preparing her for a brutal strike against the smaller girl!

But alas all that ends up happening is that Juri is stabbed in the shoulder instead of the back, and Malin's kick off of the knife sends Juri's frame sprawling against the rainsoaked roof. The Feng Shui Engine winds down, and finally stops working entirely. Several error messages pop up across her left field of vision...

"FUCK THIS SHIT!" Juri howls with rage, pounding her fists and kicking her feet against the top of the roof with all the grace and dignity of a two year old brat. She then pushes up off the roof and stands fully, before glancing behind her with a cold glare. Without flinching, without wincing, she reaches around to grab the knife from her shoulder and pull it out in a single smooth motion. The knife is flung aside like so much trash before Juri hisses angry, venomous words, "Whatever."

Then Juri does something disturbing. She reaches up with one hand, and daintily works her left eye around in its socket with her index finger. Just ... like... what? Is it fake? It has to be. Regardless it's intense creepy, and once she is done it takes that eye several moments to 'recalibrate' itself and to keep Juri looking like a cross-eyed freak of nature. "Just shut up and do something already. I'm getting bored and feeling a bit interested in seeing what your little friend below is doing."

--

The break room remains surrounded from all ends and that door that opens isn't the one that Angel tried to run through. It was another one on the opposite side that the woman must have failed to notice. In fact it is the only one that doesn't seem to be sealed and it might be the main reason why the foot soldiers haven't been barging in. They apparently know who was in that area and rather not get caught in any sort of impending brawl that might happen.

There is the sound of water running, more appropriately it sounds like something had just been flushed. The figure that steps out is very tall and has to even duck to get through the doorway. There stands Sagat in a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie staring down at Angel, probably looking as perplexed by this all as much as her. He had been here to talk with Juri about plans for the upcoming tournament and he was actually set to head on out and leave the psycho to guard the base on her own. Tha is when things started to get loud.

"I see we have guests today. And here I didn't make any tea." he comments and that single eye narrows on Angel. "Care to tell me why you are here or do you intend to make things messy?" he asks. Oddly he doesn't instantly reach out and slam a foot in the Mexican's face. Instead he just seems to wait for an actual answer.

Angel is still fresh off of looking for someplace - anyplace to -get out-. She doesn't WANT to deal with the fifteen armed men outside! Of course, this lends itself to a 'perturbed' expression moreso than any kind of legitimate fear. They are, after all, foot-soldiers. She uses foot soldiers to pick her teeth.

Angel's about to get down and dirty, about to get -serious- - she's getting her game face on, getting that angry grimace on an otherwise eyeblack-stained face - when the sound of running water interrupts her pre-gaming. Angel's eyes widen, she glances to her side, and...

Well, her jaw drops.

Sagat, dressed in a training outfit purchased at Big & Tall. Angel, dressed like the Hamburglar. She's a quick thinker, and in a pretty adept disguise considering Sagat is probably used to seeing her dressed like a nuclear whore. Can Angel...

"...Dropping off a package. Are you Mr. Sagat?" She's stepping towards the goliath, withdrawing a pen from her hip pocket.

"I just need your signature here..."

--

"What, I haven't made you lose enough blood yet?"

Malin's bluster is trying to cover up just how freaking unnerving that reaction is. People don't... usually, throw hissy fits about being stabbed. They usually shout, hiss, or, you know, more rarely, die. They certainly don't then fiddle with their eye in a creepy and disgusting way. But. These are the people Malin has gotten herself wrapped up in. If she can't take the bizarre, she should get out of the business.

Instead, Malin does her own imitation of Juri's speed trick from earlier. She's sweating hot bullets against the cold driving rain, but she's not going to let her body start to slow her down now. She needs to keep up the pressure. She was actually /winning/. Given her recent track record against Shadaloo and NESTS personnel, this feels pretty good.

Malin is a small rocket, dragging a long, curved knife in each hand. Most people would have a hell of a time trying to keep up with her, but, what is probably more confusing to Juri, given her analytical talent, is that the speed and the trajectory Malin is on... is going to put her right over the edge of the roof. Surely that can't be right?

But it is! Malin aims to run right /past/ Juri, and sail over the edge. If she's very lucky, she might even manage to cut the woman on the way past! A thin, glancing blow just to keep her interested, really...

And the other weapon? Well, that is hurled against the wall, if she manages to get past her opponent. A long tether keeps her from plunging to a painful impact several stories down, and instead, she'll hit the side of the wall, and wait... fully expecting Juri to at least look to see what happened...

COMBATSYS: Malin successfully hits Juri with Suzume Bachi.

Well that's the funny thing about NESTS, and Shadaloo for that matter. They don't really make /normal/ people. They make freaks of nature that do weird things like throw a tantrum after being stabbed or roll around their eyeballs with their index fingers. Juri doesn't seem to mind the pain though. Perhaps most unnerving of all is the fact that there isn't enough of it. Juri is used to fighting two kinds of opponents: Opponents she can detonate with a single kick, or opponents that can detonate her in much the same manner.

She is not entirely used to fighting an opponent whom she can't hit AND does not really do a whole lot for her in the masochist department either. The end result is that Juri looks rather bored. And as she stands there in the rain, now completely soaked and with red tinted water washing down her body to stain the white cloth of her pants, she hardly moves a muscle when Malin launches herself like a rocket.

Juri does attempt to sidestep out of the way to avoid the slice, no doubt about it! But she fails to move out of the way fast enough and instead finds herself with another thin line of blood on her midsection. The crazed Korean just grumbles slightly, and then shrugs her shoulders. "Whatever. She's not on the roof anymore so mission accomplished I guess."

Yup, Juri doesn't even care enough to see whether or not Malin met a grisly splatter death on the ground below. After all she only /really/ enjoys it when she's the one that caused the splatter death, not some crazy suicidal plunge.

Instead Juri makes her way over to the hole in the roof of the base that Angel left earlier. Sagat will likely be able to see her crouching down on the edge of the hole, looking at the two of them. "What the fuck?! Why are you here!?!" ... "You know what, never mind. Probably just some stupid joke That Man thought of." Juri snorts slightly, "Whatever. Anyway, my eye's gone screwy so I'm going to go strangle Mr. Manhattan. You got this? Good. Great. Seeya." With that Juri will simply walk away ... assuming nothing else happens anyway.

--

Angel does well to try and recover from the initial shock of running into Sagat. The problem is her attempt to fool him isn't going to work. An alarm was sounded. There is noises he can hear happening outside and the place doesn't seal up because of a lost package girl. He looks upwards for a few moments before looking back down to regard the other fighter.

He lets those large arms over his chest and lets out a sigh. This sort of bad attempt may fool someone like Adon, but Sagat isn't exactly that foolish. "Be glad you ran into me. I am actually in a bit of a good mood." he tells her and gives a slightly evil grin. "Now then, little one. Let us do this." He actually moves about to where he stands before the sealed door where the grunts are waiting on the other side still.

"It sounds like Juri is busy having fun and is distracted for the moment. We can do this one of two ways." He isn't even sure how many people Juri is dealing with at the moment nor how long she will be distracted. "You can attempt to leave though whatever way you got in or we can do this in a way that is alot less fun for you." He doesn't really elaborate what that might entail, but Angel is smart enough to know that way probably involves a many punches and kicks being aimed her way.

That is until Juri herself looks in the hole and he raises a brow. Of course she wanders off and leaves the cyclops with Angel once again. "Go ahead, I will just let Vega know you are abandoning your post." he calls back without even bothering to see if Juri keeps going. His attention is back on Angel. "My offer still stands."

COMBATSYS: Juri takes no action.

W-wow. Sagat is being -really- nice! The appreciation shows in Angel's eyes - for a full half-moment, she's almost overwhelmed with Sagat's benevolence. Her lips curl into the slightest, fawning smile, and she's already looking towards the hole where Juri announces her departure. Naturally this causes her expression to falter - where the fuck is Malin? - but she's at her core pretty unconcerned. Eyes back to Sagat. God, he's ni-

Images of Krizalid burn through her consciousness. Krizalid and his leers, his constant irritation, the -threats-, the -clones-, the long hours Krizalid spends in his room alone, the constant Questionable Noises, and finally, the last punishment Krizalid gave to Angel's ex-accomplice, NESTS only other female agent. 'Come see me in my quarters.'

She shivers, pretty uncontrollably.

"...Heh, you know I'd be down, big guy, but..." A roll of the eyes upwards. "Bosses bein' what they are..." Lightning-fast, Angel hops backwards, half-stumbling over the couch behind her. She falls, ass-over-teakettle, but this motion *WORKS* for her, for you see...

That pen. Somewhere in the tumble, she's managed to wing it -STRAIGHT- for Sagat's sole good eye. Take THAT.

--

Malin listens, carefully. Oddly enough, her danger sense isn't screaming any more. This makes her suspicious. But when she catches Juri's words, over the hammering of the rain, the girl begins to move.

Malin is very quiet when she wants to be, and right now, she really wants to be. It takes some creative positioning to get herself in the right place, where she can hear Angel's words from inside the building. Okay. So the place was in lockdown. Well. Malin had broken into more than a few places in lockdown before. Sometimes, subtly isn't enough to see things through. Sometimes, you need to go for a little ole brute force.

The girl springs from the side of the building, her tether, rubberized, stretches with her, builds up tension, and then, snaps her back towards it. The blade having been designed to lock into place, it holds her diminutive weight magnificently. Which allows both feet to slam heavily into the shuttered window of the break room.

The heavy shutter gives, and a large chunk of metal is sent hurtling into the room, along with a few dozen pounds of hyperactive, knife-wielding teenager, riding high on a perceived victory and uncaring of the odds she's walking into! The chunk of security measure is hurled towards Sagat. The teenager riding along with it, with a battlecry that has won her absolutely no acclaim in any reputable fighting circle!

"LEAVE IT TO MALIN!"

--

Yeah... Vega. That asshole. Her right wrist still doesn't feel quite right since he broke it for her. All those little bones were crushed, mangled, and rearranged according to his liking and it took all the skills of the infirmary docs to put it back together in some fashion that resembled a functional human wrist. Juri idly works the wrist around before grumbling, "Whatever! Maybe it'll teach that giant-chinned asshole not to stick me on shitty defense details that he knows I'm not good at!" And with that, Juri walks away from the hole on the roof leaving Angel and Sagat to sort out their differences.

Yup, she's gone. Totally. She just walked away from everything and is now probably on her way to strangle Seth 15 for making her look like a doofus back there. Of course it was probably her fault bu--

Wait a minute, there's a second figure entering through the 'entrance' that Malin had created. Juri stands there with her arms crossed and smirking, "Well what do you know, I changed my mind." Her left eye begins to grow brightly as she stares directly at Angel. Tactical readouts flow over her left field of vision detailing her physique, the flow of chi throughout her body, and giving some hints as to the augmentations she has gone through.

"You two really should have taken his offer you know."

COMBATSYS: Juri focuses on her next action.

There is a reason that Sagat rarely decides to be the nice guy. Very rarely does it ever seem to pay off. He had a feeling that Angel wasn't going to take him up on the offer and isn't too surprised when she flings the pen right at him. What he didn't expect is Malin to come slamming through the way she does and sending that huge hunk of metal sailing his way at the same time. The big man doesn't even attempt to get out of the way and he raises a hand to let the pen slam into his palm. It sinks in a bit and a flick of his wrist dislodges it and lets the pen go skipping away. The metal on the other hand he just rears back and with a loud grunt he punches that metal as hard as he can which causes it to go flying off into the wall and causes more property damage. "Very well. I suppose this can't be helped."

The large man decides to go on the move. It seems Juri has some sense in her by the fact she did return. He know she really doesn't fear Vega, but he has seen the girl nursing her wrist. She probably doesn't want something else broke for being problematic again so soon. Of course with Malin on her way down Sagat is more than happy to offer the girl a proper greeting and slings a large, powerful leg towards the girl and attempts to slam it right into her torso in a rather forceful manner.

Angel -doesn't like- the way that Juri's looking at her. She's absolutely pumped that Malin's returned - that's fantastic - but there's too much going on, too many doomy threats to deal with - for her to really show any outwards glee. The Mexican lands in a three-point position after tumbling over the couch, and settles narrowed eyes on Sagat, who is acting like The Juggernaut. Then he's kicking at Malin with a foot the size of her chest.

"Awh, g'damn!!" Angel, for the first time all night, pushes herself. In the blink of an eye, she's gone - before that same eye might open again, she's taking Sagat's foot FULL in the stomach, wind knocked out of her, eyes widened, expression riddled with all -kinds- of pain. The Mexican sails through the break room, impacts lockers shoulder-first, and collapses to the ground in a heap.

Luckily, her backpack's uninjured - as if to remind her of its presence, the thing beeps again, persistent. Angel's expression sets.

"Malin, we gotta get outta here, too much to deal with right now! Cut through the one with the hair!!" Angel's already working on this - Juri might be analyzing her with that weird eye, and certainly, those readouts are going to give the taekwondette a heap of information regarding Angel (except her weight, screw off). Ideally, Juri's not so focused on the readouts that she can't see Angel rushing towards her, matching the same speed Juri had displayed earlier.

-Exceeding it-. Genetics, yo.

One speed-aided fist hurtles for Juri's head. It's less of a 'punch' than it is her extending a limb while in Go Fast mode.

--

Malin is mildly surprised by Angel's selfless move. Mostly because, there's no way that she'd have done it herself. However! Although she hears Angel, she isn't, exactly, going to do what her direct superior wants. Hopefully, this won't result in an immediate and messy death. But, she respects the power of Sagat. The dude is a living legend. She'd never have come in the damn window if she'd known it was /him/ she was going to plough right into, as well as Freaky McSlasherSmile.

She holds up both her hands, then, demonstrating that she doesn't have any weapons in them. "Yo, big guy, hey, sorry to jump in on you like this." She says. Flashing her most Winning Smile (tm), you can almost imagine the light catching it in a fetching and trustworthy way.

"Look. I'm guessing Pointy Hair back there, she ain't too popular with your bunch, right? Bit of a layabout? Trust me, I dig it. Now. We can dance around all day, mess up a whole bunch of stuff, OR!" She holds up one finger, and smiles even more desperately than before.

"You let us go through her and home free. We tell the high ups you were here, they don't ask too many questions. You tell your high ups you beat the snot out of us after she messed up. Everybody wins. Am I right? Come on. Leave it to Malin?"

Sure, it's a long shot. But when you can't bust out of a situation with your knives, why not at least TRY with your words?

Yeah Juri isn't very popular. It's just so weird right? What with that sparkling personality and the fact she's always so helpful and kind to others. Stop laughing. Still, Juri has had a moment to calibrate that eye of hers while up on the roof, as demonstrated by her spinning it around like it was some weird trackball or something similar. And Angel is just about to get an up-close demonstration.

It begins when she attempts to exceed Juri's speed. Attempts, of course, because what Angel has in genetic hackery Juri makes up for with cybernetics. But still it's enough to cause Juri's eyes to widen and for the Feng Shui Engine to correct its earlier estimates! Luckily it's very fast, and when Angel flings her fist out toward her head Juri smiles and seems to vanish as it passes through the after image of her head!

Where did she go? She actually seems to have jumped outside, back flipping through the air before landing feet first against the tree. Then kicking off of it with enough force that the entire trunk /splits/ in two she propels herself back toward Angel attempting to kick her in the stomach!

Should the first strike hit she'll then knee her under the chin, driving her upwards. Then finally a kick aimed to the side of Angel's head and finished up with a spinning heel kick aimed directly at those Great Big Tracks Of Land she seems so proud of.

Most amazing? Besides a cruel cackle Juri is silent for pretty much the whole thing.

--

He feels his foot hit home, but Sagat didn't expect Angel to get in the way and take the hit for Malin. It matters not. He landed the hit either way. He supposes it doesn't matter who it would be. He snaps the leg back down and he stands up straight again. Still he has yet to fully take his fighting pose. It looks like the two are going to flee like he was letting them do in the first place. Of course Juri is in the way so he has no idea how well that will all work. Instead he actually lets Malin speak and does not strike.

He just slowly nods. "Juri does what she wants. If you want to leave you can." he tells Malin. His response might be a surprising one, but at the same time the energy around the large man is starting to grow thick and debris on the ground is lightly rattling and kicking up in the air. "However. You both have until the count of ten." he tells Malin and remains where he is. If anything the much smaller fighter has the luck of not being struck at by the God of Muay Thai. Though given the bad vibes he is giving off right now he seems dead serious about only giving them until the count of ten. And given he is not counting aloud it is hard to tell how long that may be.

Should the first strike hit - It's funny. The first strike -definitely- hits the NESTS agent in the stomach, and the second follows to hit her in the chin!! Angel's cracked in the head, and then there's a final, telling impact against the Mexican's... Tracts. There are a few things that could be hit, here, but -whatever- they are, we're going to assume that the damage is substantial.

Angel's without words, and Juri, certainly, would've taken them from her had she uttered any. There are moments when you kind of... come to Jesus - this is one of them. Angel's days of neglecting to read personnel dossiers and mission statements have finally paid-off in the form of three broken ribs and a serious concussion - here, in this Shadaloo base's break room, she's understanding that she -just might need to pay attention-.

Regardless, Angel hits the wall hard, slumps to the ground, and is silent for a moment. Juri -might- have killed her. Certainly Sagat's kick didn't help. After a beat, the Mexican pulls herself to consciousness and ability - an eye flickers open. Then the other.

And then she's gone. Up, dashing across the carpet, diving out the same window Malin'd -exploded- through to get here. It's a long drop to the ground, but the alternatives - Juri and Sagat - are considerably worse, and considerably more life threatening. Krizalid's "punishment" will have to suffice.

Malin bows to Sagat, and then winks, "Thanks Champ. You were robbed, by the way." A cheeky grin, and she's taking off again. Glad to see that Angel, despite the pounding she's been given, is heading for the window, Malin has no idea how long it takes for Sagat to count to ten, but she's got no intention of hanging around to find out.

Nope, what she does intend to do, though, is /cheat/. Because that's what Malin does best, and it has worked magnificently for her so far.

Coming up behind Juri, the intent is rather simple. A knife is thrown, but that's really just a cover. What she's actually doing is jumping up and over the woman, and at the apex of her height, she lets a hefty net drop from her pocket. If Juri is hit, the electrified mesh will, hopefully, entangle her, and help buy Malin the precious few seconds she needs to follow on behind Angel. As well as provide a nice incentive for not actually following them, of course.

If it all goes well, she'll even leave with one last cocky one liner. "Until next time, pointy hair! Maybe in future, you'll remember who it is you are dealing with!~"

Do you know that feeling? The feeling you get after starving all damn day and finally getting a chance to sit down and have a meal? While at the same time having been standing all day and finally being able to sit down? And then at the table there just happens to be a professional masseuse ready to give you a foot massage?

IF SO then you know a little bit of what Juri feels right now. This literally is the first living, breathing thing she has hit all night: Angel. And when the first strike hits she is eager, eerily so, to follow up each of the strikes with violent continuations until finally she sends the Mexican woman crashing backwards. As she lands she produces a soft, satisfied sigh. "Mm... now that's more like it. You're a lot more fun than your friend. At least you have the decency to put out from time to time."

And then Angel is gone, speeding toward the window. Juri could try to catch her but eh, what's the point? Juri managed to hit her hard enough to crack the wall behind her with the force and that was enough. Besides, there's still little miss dodgybitch running toward her and flinging another one of those knives! She steps out of the way of the knife easily enough, but looks genuinely surprised when Malin is now up above her head and dropping a net down atop of her.

But Juri's frustration won't allow her to simply let Malin get away. So even as the mesh entangles her and begins a debilitating amount of electricity through her body Juri continues to move: First crouching low to allow some of the wire mesh touch the ground and ground itself, then leaping up into the air to snag Malin with one of her legs!

It's a curious in-air variation of her usual Karen Kick. The gist is still the same though: She snags their head, then brings her knee up to meet their chin before releasing and spinning around to deliver a painful backwards heel that sends them flying! In this case: Flying out of the hole that Malin was trying to escape through.

When Juri lands, she sighs deeply. Turning toward Sagat he is able to see that her left eye is ... drifting in a most disturbing fashion. "The dumb shit didn't calibrate it for heavy rain." is all she says.

--

It is a good thing the girl decided to heed his advice and go. Then again it looks like she couldn't settle with just running. Instead it seems like Malin has decided to test her luck against Juri and the girl pays for it. He closes his eye and gives his head a shake while folding his arms. Well maybe with a hit like that Malin has learned her lesson. Then again given her attitude he highly doubts it. She almost reminds him of Adon in some ways. Poor girl.

He reopens his eye and looks Juri's way. He might not like the girl, but if Seth really is messing with her for fun and she isn't making excuses he will have to have a word with him. "It doesn't matter. That was pretty bold they would attack this base with you here." Of course he was here too, but that was a rare variable of him just happening by for a short time. He had other things to do afterall. He turns about to tap on the door that the soldiers are behind and it starts to open. "Get the cleanup crews. The intruders are gone."

Aboard a nearby stealth copter, an uplink relays ground data to a pale heads-up display, studied by eyes that were once calm and impassive. Now his stare narrows in a volatile anger, expressed only in the slow curls of plastic being drawn from the deep grooves his claws are worrying in it.

A voice made of silk and night twists the air.

"Him again.."

He is beyond livid. It's how Krizalid is, possessing a level of enmity that often transcends expression. Most of his handlers and entourage know better than to argue with him when he's like this. Standing, with the telltale pop-and hiss of charging cables retracting from ports on his overcoat with audible cracks. His boots sound hollow across the metal floor of the carrier. He issues one order. "Prepare unit ejection, away one." "W--which unit, sir?"

Krizalid's fists cross over his chest. "Me."

The agent's arrival is something unholy, as a faint whistle in the air, a black streak of darkness screaming towards the earth. And then--a bright explosion of fire in the sky. Giant wings spread out like some kind of heaven-sent killer's AEgis, engulfing and slowing the black thing down. By the time Krizalid hits the earth, it's in a steel-lined suit, conforming to every line of his serpentine body. The ground cracks underneath his impact, leaving him kneeling. The carpet is /melted/. The ceiling itself, somewhere above the window, is only so much molten concrete, dripping in long drooling lines from where Krizalid meteored right through it.

Intruders aren't quite gone yet. His exposed suit crackles with energy, snapping and popping black lightning across the ground around him. Every part of his body seethes, bleeding heat and steam into the air in lazy curling trails as he stands straight, facing Sagat and Juri. His claws flex, barely-restrained aggression prevalent in every slow, methodical motion.

"I can think of ten things I'm gonna do to the both of you."

Is he covering the retreat? Did he just see an opening? Hard to know...

But there's going to be a lot of pain involved either way.

Outside of that shattered window, Angel sits in a hastily-assembled safety harness, one anchored to the opening's sole remaining intact edge. She's in absolutely miserable shape - her breaths come in shaking heaves, and her nose dribbles blood. Her entire -body- hurts. The mission had been compromised in a huge fashion, but NESTS is not NESTS without having a few cards up its sleeve.

Unlike Shadaloo, these cards don't involve the bathroom in any way, shape, or form.

The previously-intact field agent is oblivious to Malin -exploding- out of the window; her attention flickers to the phone in her hands, to the data she's attempting to send. Been sending. She's needed this reprieve for some time...

And with Krizalid's advent, the time-off makes its benefit known in a hugely tangible way. Angel is in no way capable of rejoining her superior at the moment, but already NESTS nanotech is at work within her. Battered ribs knit at alarming rates, hematoma stabilizes in single breaths. Angel moves from the brink of death to a considerably loftier place - and, in time, will be more than able to get back on her feet.

All she needs to do is avoid detection. Hopefully the spectacle of Krizalid will be enough to keep onlookers from witnessing the leather equipment harness haphazardly tied to window-pane fragments.

If Malin was in a better state, she might appreciate Krizalid's arrival. She's never actually /seen/ the man before. Just heard about him as one might hear about a particularly frightening urban legend. Unfortunately, she isn't in a better state. She's exploding out into the open air, and really, there's only one thought running through her head.

All intruders are accounted for and disposed of, and hopefully will now be making their way home licking their wounds. Mission accomplished! Though this base of operations is almost surely compromised. Juri calmly rubs her left eye a few times before stating coldly, "Nah, no reason to call for the clean-up crews. NESTS knows we're here. Worse, half the damn city probably knows we're here. They couldn't have thought all those explosions were from thunder, after all. Better to just go ahead and call an evac and move everything sensitive to a new lo--"

Juri's words are cut short when suddenly something black streaks out of the sky like a hellbound missile! He lands before them, cracking the ground with his descent before rising like some nightmarish firebreathing serpent of legend. But Juri isn't impressed. For once in her life she's not thrilled with the fact that more, stronger enemies are raining from the sky nonstop. In fact she's pretty fucking tired and her eye is wonky: Two good reasons for her to stand there, still soaked from the rain, and stomp her feet angrily into the ground.

"FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUUUUCK! What the Hell?! Did they send half of their elite dipshit squad after this podunk base?" Nevermind the fact that Vega apparently sent half of HIS elite dipshit squad as well, "Never mind. Whatever." She sighs deeply, and then glances toward Sagat, "Mind keeping him company for a bit? I'm going to go and make sure Miss Beeping Backpack isn't somewhere trying to set us up the bomb." With that Juri will attempt to leap up through the hole in the roof in order to get outside, assuming of course that Krizalid doesn't have his own ideas.

COMBATSYS: Juri gains composure.

For once Juri is being resonable. It might be better to gather things and direct the men to move elsewhere. Even if the intruders were tossed out the place is a bit worse for wear. Even more so given what soon happens. There is the noise of something else crashing into the ceiling of the base and in crashes Krizalid. Sagat doesn't quite believe this as well. This location doesn't even house anything too important to be honest. It was more a stop for the Muay Thai fighter to take a moment to rest and speak to Juri. Even then Juri was probably only there for a day at most to make sure things were running well. Now things have turned into a pure clusterfuck.

Sagat only nods to Juri and he turns his attention to Krizalid. "I am sure you do." he replies calmly as he takes a deep breath and he begins to shift his weight. He supposes he will have to actually fight tonight despite his efforts to just scare off the intruders. He knows that he will not coax Krizalid to flee. That is why the God of Muay Thai narrows his gaze and gets prepared for battle with this bastard once again. He is really starting to hate China he thinks. "Let us get this over with, shall we?"

COMBATSYS: Sagat focuses on his next action.

He stalks back and forth, his suit gathering battle data and making assessments of the two as he does so. Two, the only important targets here. The rest--a bunch of soldiers hiding behind a door, along with countless others--were just chaff. Bowls of meat soup waiting to happen..

Krizalid takes one deep breath, as if to quell some deep, unabiding urge deep in his chest. Sagat... Sagat.. hrmph. "You know, ever since our last fight, I've been thinking of how I'm gonna pay you back," the clone hisses. "I think I'm gonna enjoy showing you real power." His eyes flick up as Juri takes a defensive position, and prepares to leap up after Angel. Is Sagat's looking closely, he might notice that from the angered glance in his eye, Krizalid seems to prioritize only one thing over his sateless bloodlust.

"Witness."

Sliding low, the clone slips out a leg in an impossibly long feat of flexion to try and sidestep wide around Sagat, leaping against a wall and jumping /off/ of it, to try and pounce Juri right out of her leap. He's going to pin her to the ground beneath his weight. And then rip into her openly with his claws.

Krizalid, despite the tough talk, seems less interested in settling the score with Sagat, and more about.. fighting the both of them? At once? What sort of maniacs do they manufacture in the Cartel's haunted halls!?

--

Angel has taken her time, reclined in that jury-rigged harness outside of the window, and really, even if Juri DOES leap up to that hole in the roof, Angel's still going to be chilling - because Angel isn't ON the roof. Despite her relative safety at the moment, Angel knows when her body's repaired itself as best it can, and it's at about now that this is the case. Waiting around won't help any further. Inside, Krizalid is taking on two very, very high threat targets.

Idle hate for her superior aside, Angel's not about to let a family member be cut down. With a brutal -YANK- to the tether, Angel rips it down from its place against the window - she sets into a freefall, and impacts the very same tree that served to help her start this debacle. A powerful compression of her legs sends the Agent flying back through that window, rolling onto the floor (through her own blood!) and into a low kneel.

Krizalid is diving at Juri. Sagat is over by the door, presumably being terrifying. She's thinking quickly - she has to - and elects to go for the larger threat by the door. Krizalid can -handle- Juri. Sagat is about to blow something up.

In a flash, she's gone, to reappear between either of Sagat's trunk-like legs. Rapidly, she wraps her own around his thighs, angles a foot for his groin and attempts to *KICK* at him before flexing both legs and sending him into an upwards sprawl.

And lo, does the mighty hunter pounce through the air and deliver upon its victim a 25 damage pounce (or aroundabouts). Of course this wouldn't have happened if Juri had been mindful to pick up an auto-shotty earlier on.

Oh, excuse me, my mind was somewhere else.

Regardless, Krizalid swoops and Juri, despite trying to shift her weight and twist out of the way at the last moment, is caught and dragged painfully to the ground! She can feel her back grinding against the concrete floor of the warehouse before finally sliding to a stop in perhaps the worst place possible: Beneath a madman equipped with a set of stainless steel claws.

Though a trained fighter, Juri's flesh is still as supple and as vulnerable as anyone elses. Were it not for her muscles acting as a sort of natural body armor though the damage would be far worse and far more lethal. She howls, screams in pain, "GET THIS FREAK OFF OF ME!!!" Not that she expects anyone to help: Not Sagat, not any of the multitude of poorly paid guards probably hiding inside of cardboard boxes somewhere. She'll instead have to twist herself out from under his body and then attempt to kick him away from her with a sudden, and quite violent, backwards mule kick directly to his neck!

Regardless of how it turns out though Juri is left severely cut up. Deep bloody tracks have been carved out of her torso and her top is now hanging from the last shreds of intact fabric.

There is one thing Krizalid probably doesn't understand and that Sagat could care less what happens to Juri for the most part. He pities the girl, but she is beyond being saved. There is no much he can do about it. Sadly the rather strange member of NESTS reminds him a bit too much of Juri. He is sure that girl will get some sort of sadistic glee in dealing with him. Of course there is one big thing in all of this. Juri is Vega's property and Sagat would probably be at fault if he let Krizalid break her too much. That would be the only reason why he cares to even stalk after the crazed clone.

That is of course until he is stopped in his tracks by Angel. He had thought the girl had actually fled and he seems to have been mistaken since she is trying to entangle herself around his legs. His gaze travels downwards and he is reaching a large fist to grab her around the throat even as her kick slams hard in his groin. The man doesn't even flinch as he tugs Angel free and holds her up to where she meets him eye to eye. "You should have left."

It seems she is very loyal in the way she took a shot for Malin and even is helping a crazed person like Krizalid. That is no matter to Sagat. He lets go as he swings his right hand upwards and he jumps up high in the sky as he nails the woman with enough force to slam her into what is left of the ceiling and probably bring the rest of it to the ground at this point. "TIGER!" he roars in delivering the blow before landing on his feet in a rather graceful manner. The God of Muay Thai is on the warpath now.

Her body feels good underneath his flaying claws.

Small point--Krizalid's talons aren't actually solid gloves, but more fused and exposed wires, twisting together until they terminate in a wicked point at the end of his hands. Not that it matters much--feels quite the same when his hands are focused on ripping open everything that was healthy about you and leaving it discarded across the carpet floor, but it does create interesting lining effects on his hands when the blood drains through the channels between the wiring.

"DON'T THINK YOU CAN JUST TAKE WHAT'S MINE--" Krizalid half curses, half shrieks into Juri's ears somewhere between rip attempts. Of course, the clone pauses for only a moment to look up as Angel makes a reappearance into the base, only to be launched into headlong by a mantorpedo. And that's enough for Juri to throw him off, disrupting his balance for a moment as her foot slams into his lifted shoulder, the clone bending in an almost unnaturally low stance to absorb the train-like shock of the blow, sending him skidding only an inch or two. His eyes seem to flash red as he looks over his shoulder, noticing Sagat in full relief this time.

The clone.. snarls. It is a low sound not entirely human.

One leg stretches out, his hip popping as he twists his leg at a contorted angle in front of him, leaving his low stand to cut a whirlwind into the air towards Juri, a flash of wind cutting through the air towards her, point blank. But it's not just a light breeze. That massive cyclone Krizalid kicks off twists before him with a grinding noise as it flays the carpet before him down to the floorboards.

"DIE!!!"

--

She should've known it wouldn't work. It's enough that Krizalid's distracted by her entrance and eating a fist - she DID see that - but now Sagat's taking a kick to the Tiger Jewels with the dullest kind of reaction. Angel doesn't even have time to make an alarmed noise before she's got a beefy, scarred mitt around her neck. She's being lifted into the air, legs kicking, expression every bit reflective of a world increasingly lacking in oxygen (and thusly color, intensity, and range of vision).

To Sagat's statement about leaving, Angel -does- manage to roll her eyes towards Krizalid. Again: "Heh..." Gurgle. "Y'know.. bosses bein' what they are.." She's about done breathing at this point, and the kicking legs are less animated than they might have been previously.

As she's about done, Angel's released, takes an instant to suck blessed oxygen through a traumatized airway. Not even a second into that recovery, she's receiving the full brunt of that brutal uppercut into her jaw - there's a sickening *CRUNCH* and the Mexican is being lifted, violently, into, against, and THROUGH the Shadaloo ceiling.

Debris rains down upon the makeshift battlefield, Sagat easily visible through the mess - Angel is not. She's gone, either entering the stratosphere or of enough mind to utilize her very bad situation and *get out*. Truthfully, the NESTS agent has latched onto a fragment of intact rooftop, rolled atop it, and is keeping a very, very low profile while she communicates with NESTS air support.

Extraction needed in one minute, a mile east of the target. There will be flares.

Juri's body feels good in many situations. Just not in this situation right now, with so many stab wounds and claw marks running across her body. She was lucky to have managed to crawl out from under Krizalid at all: Much less deliver a kick. Though there is a deep frown when said kick barely causes the violent mad man to flinch.

Though honestly, these two were practically made for each other.

As Krizalid is preparing his attack with some rather ... impressive contortionism, the Taekwondoka is scrambling back to her feet. The kick produces a massive upwards torrent of air! Though what is subtly dangerous about this is the pressure of the attack: Pressure that constricts the wind into razor sharp blades that slice the floor before moving up to try and reduce Juri to ribbons. Juri can see it coming: Her left eye, malfunctioning though it is, helpfully indicates the flow of chi and highlights it for her vision.

Not that it does much good. She has no time to dodge, and the best she can hope for is to attempt a hasty block by shielding her torso with both arms and her lower body with one uplifted leg! To no avail: The wind slices through her guard like a hot knife through butter. Her clothing is quickly reduced to tatters, and her body covered in grievous slashes that bleed profusely.

The Korean woman's small frame crashes to the floor of the warehouse right below where one of the holes in the roof is. Heavy rain pours down atop of her, washing the blood across her body in bloody shrieks. The loose white cloth of her pants is gone, as is much of the light purple material of her tights. All that is left to shield her 'dignity' is the tattered remains of her halter top and the dark purple bikini bottom. As she pushes herself up into a half-upright posture her long black hair, cut free from her horned hair style, falls freely around her face and shoulders. Her body shakes heavily. Is she... is she crying?

No... she's laughing.

Laughing hard, her entire body shaking with the laughter that can only be found beyond sanity! She turns toward Krizalid, left eye glowing bright with garish purple energy. Then she /shrieks/ before lunging into an upright posture!!! Spinning like a demented top out of hell she'll deliver kick after violent psycho powered kick sending swirling, crescent shaped discharges of psycho power into the clone's direction.

Krizalid has startled the Bitch.

--

A message well delievered if Sagat has anything to say. While he understands the problem that Angel has with bosses, he also knows he understands he has that same sort of problem. There is no bad blood really between the two. Much like her he is just doing his job. It is just a shame his job at the moment involves copious amounts of pain to the young Mexican. He relaxes slightly in his stance and he seems to make no pursuit at the moment and gives Angel a moment's rest. She isn't exactly seen as a threat at the moment whever she may have gone. Krizalid certainly is the one that is the main target at this point. He isn't exactly sure how much punishment Juri has taken and if she can take that crazy clone on her own.

The large man decides to conserve his own strength for now and he takes a deep breath again. He allows himself to regain his focus and he begins gathering the energy around him once again. If anything he knows Juri will at least last awhile. She is small, but durable. he has fought her and knows she can topple great warriors in the right situation. He just isn't how sure how much Malin and Angel took out of her. Krizalid isn't exactly a walk in the park. His fists clench and he sneers as the ground around him rattles about lightly.

COMBATSYS: Sagat gathers his will.

His form, offset by the light from the window behind him, makes his face almost disappear in the dark, making him appear as a tall, lanky shadow with flickering demonic red eyes in the darkness. He steps towards Juri slowly, forcing himself to focus. It's hard, with the scent of blood stianing the air, and the taste of copper on his tongue. It would be easy to go wild here.. but there's a reason why he doesn't.

The haunting laughter causes the clone to tilt his head.

And then, a wave of flashing blasts of energy crash into his body.

Damage readouts flicker all over his view as he takes immediate and catastrophic damage, his body being thrown back, his boots squealing across cooling piles of slick, melted synthetics as he endures the disaster unleashed upon his body. When it's done, Krizalid's stance is wide, the clone slowly panting as energy crackles all around him, tormenting him, /twisting/ him with haunting memories of the Shadaloo's laughter.

It reminds him of Sagat.

".... bitch," he hisses, incensed.

"Do you know who I am?"

The shadowlike effect is dispelled when Krizalid opens his hand. Now little more than the steel impact fittings and strutwork of his battlesuit protects him, apparent as his form is lit from below by the kindling of flame in his hand. HE controls more than one element, it seems. But this one...this flame of his? It's special. He intends to murder her. "What you're dealing with... we, the ephemeral masters of darkness. And I..."

Krizalid whips his hand wide, casting a curve of sacred fire into the air.. and then flips his leg around and rips into the arc with a rising roundhouse kick, cutting a vicious gale into his own flame.. and causing the entire thing to explode as it boils over, twisting into a massive inferno of knives as Krizalid rips together the two elements.

"THE ULTIMATE CLONE!!"

The blasts of psycho power strike home, and seem to do quite a bit of damage to its intended target, just as Krizalid's own attacks had done to her just moments earlier. No surprises there. Nature seems to be a cruel mistress and whatever strengths one may have are often complimented by another weakness. Though Juri's weaknesses are becoming rather apparent as well. Her body is sliced up, her breathing ragged, and once her flurry of violence is over she is left with her back hunched over and hands hanging heavily down around her knees.

But when Krizalid begins to move again her head rolls up, slowly, until she can stare from between the rain-soaked strands of black hair covering her face. When he calls her a bitch though she chuckles, when he asks if she knows who he is she cackles insanely with glee!!! Her body rocks backwards and her entire body shakes with insane laughter. So much so that she almost misses his badass boast.

But Krizalid doesn't miss her.

Juri ceases laughing when the arc of firey chi first bursts to life, and she lowers her head. Her eyes are scowling slightly from the abnormal readout the chi is giving her. She is paying so much attention to /it/ though that she hardly has time to try and move out of the way before Krizalid leaps into the air to direct the firey inferno toward her body! In the end Juri is consumed, entirely, and she can be heard shrieking in agony as the flames seem to roast her ALIVE!

She is still burning with sacred fire as she begins to make her first steps toward Krizalid. Even beyond the bright flickering light of the fire though glows her left eye as she hisses in pain, "You." ... "You are /nothing/. Just another toy! ANOTHER TOY THAT I'LL BREAK TO PIECES!" Her left eye flashes even brighter and she is gone! Or rather, she is standing behind Krizalid. The flames are mostly out by now: Snuffed by Juri's rapid movement at a speed near teleportation. She'll reach up to attempt to wrap one arm around his throat. Perhaps trying to lock him in a sleeper hold? Meanwhile her other hand is raised to Krizalid's eyes. Should all go as planned the last thing Krizalid will see clearly is a flash of purple light searing into his eye sockets. And then... PAIN.

--

It is starting to look Krizalid has improved since he and Sagat tussled. That or perhaps Juri truely was worn down more than he had expected. Either way she seems to be worn down and in need of help at this point. The large fighter begins to stalk forward towards where Krizalid and Juri are doing battle. His bare feet easily smash debris without any pain of sharp edges pushing in against those large, calloused appendages. Angel is forgotten about for now and instead his focus is soley on Krizalid while stalking forward. "I believe you are alone. Forgive me if we are not so forgiving and allow you to run."

Yes, while Angel and Malin had a way out there is no way Sagat will allow Krizalid to get out of this without severe punishment. Unfortunantly it will probably drive the sadistic clone to strive to perform better. He will eventually probably destroy himself with the way he seems to act. "Keep growing hotter and you will eventually turn to ash that I will just have to snuff out. Kyo still wields hotter flames than you ever hope to have." he tells Krizalid with a slightly sadistic grin of his own and he then leans forward, going down on one knee as her thrusts his hands forward, a large ball of energy forming and launching itself towards the clone. "TIGER!" Of course poor Juri might get hit if Krizalid gets out of the way.

"What's the matter..?"

His attitude seems to shift wildly. Krizalid drinks in Juri's pain, her frustration, and the fact that she can smell his blood--and he knows it. An animal who understands another animal, he taunts her with his wounds. Even when he's shot in the side by the crash of force that is the Tiger Shot, he knows how close she is, and so he falls back, crashing into the ground on one knee. "Are you afraid of the dark?" he asks her simply. Is she angered by his power? She should be.

Even despite the blood slicks draining down every channel of his musculature, the open lightning branches of force emitting from his suit, his attitude seems calmer, more restrained. Possibly because his suit's detected and reported: Angel is no longer engaging the targets. Possibly.. that might have been what was agitating him? A clinical detachment seems to suffuse the clone as he stands straight, surrounded by Juri and Sagat, possibly the worst place ever to be in in all of the world.

"Heh. Don't get confused," he corrects Sagat.

There is no amount of pain that Krizalid can't endure, no amount of power he can't overcome.

"I'm not trapped in here with you." Instead of directly facing the two in a combat stance, Krizalid stands up straight to meet Juri's peculiar eye, folding his arms. And then as Juri blurs towards him, Krizalid simply disappears. He moves at disgustingly fast speeds as well, grossly contradicting his slow scarecrow-esque movements usually, his body flickering as it appears behind Juri.

Because he will be the strongest.

Krizalid is deadly confident, even in this kind of a suicide situation.

"You're trapped in here with /me/."

And then Krizalid attempts to sink all five of his claws into Juri's back in a simple and decisive knifehand, as if to pin her serpentine body down. If he does manage to get that close to her, he'll have a few choice words for her and her alone.

From one animal to another, Juri's anger and frustration is no higher than when Krizalid slips from her grasp one more time! A growl raises in her throat right before she can hear him talking behind her. Thankfully that sort of the thing is the biggest tell in the world, and as his fingers lance out they only manage to grace her back: Drawing a very thin line of blood across her pale skin. But still it is enough to send Juri down on one knee and breathing heavily, clutching at the wound. The Feng Shui Engine treats her to a screen warning her that her vitals are dipping dangerously low, and that she should withdraw or else risk serious life-threatening injury.

But Juri doesn't even know what that word means.

A feral growl rises in her throat as she climbs back to her feet, forcing her brutally injured body into action once more. Her head turns to the left to face Krizalid directly, her left eye glowing bright in the dim light of the room. Irony, perhaps, that she is the 'light' facing Krizalid's darkness. But fate has a funny hand in things. She mutters, not to Krizalid but to Sagat, "Hey, one-eye. If I go down, promise to pound this prissy shithead through a cement wall for me, will ya?"

Then in a final lunge, Juri's body spins into action! "Come on you petry dish reject! You think that's enough? Come on, try to break me for real!!!" A flash of violet colored energy ignites around Juri's foot as she spins on one heel and delivers a kick toward Krizalid's direction. Though the kick likely misses, the arc of psycho power is sent flowing toward him!

But Juri stumbles once she is finished, collapsing onto all fours and breathing heavily. "D-dammit... I will have my revenge..."

Juri grips her fists tighter and pounds the ground with one hand! "Oh... I'll break you, just you wait!!!" Then with sudden, unexplainable strength she rises back up to her feet. It seems she's not out of the fight yet.

--

Trapped with Krizalid? No, Sagat doesn't seem too impressed when that is said. The fighter is impressive, but nothing too special from what the larger fighter has seen. If he could perhaps control the power he wields better than he could make something of himself. Much like Juri that sadism holds him back from any true potential from being attained. He slowly rises to his feet. "I see Igniz truely breeds ignorance. At least the girls seemed to have some sense. They are just misguided." he comments and he stalks forward. He thinks Juri was down and out, but it looks like she managed to somehow keep standing. For being so small she isn't fragile at all.

That is why Sagat decides to hold back and lets the woman get her aggression out on the clone. He has fought Krizalid before so he is more interested to see how he fares against someone else from Shadaloo. Not to mention if he beats up Juri and breaks her a bit too much that might mean Krizalid will get a nice visit from Vega himself. Maybe then the clone will realize just how weak he truely is. He folds his arms over his chest and watches for now, his single eye narrowed on the two fighting as he decides what to do next. Once Juri is down he looks ready to destroy that clone.

"Tch."

The whip-lean bloodied clone stands, slightly impressed as Juri fails to die. She managed to deflect his claws even as close as she was to the edge of consciousness. She has a certain bloody-minded determination about her, something in the way she forces her body to work, even past all of his calculation's metrics. It's a drive he recognizes. A desire he knows all too well.

It just makes him want to see her on the ground even more..

He forces himself to reorient his attentions on his battle-suit data. Angel's vital signs are read impassively, with a small tic of annoyance. She's not dead... but... Krizalid notes the incoming battle data on his raw feed just in time to look up.

What happens next is pretty bizarre. Krizalid actually /matches/ Juri's kick motion for motion, the deadly arc of psycho power curling into the air--again... and again. And again... and winding slowly around a massive spiral that his own kick conjured with the mirrored movement of the clone, in the same principle as he used with his earlier release of "TYPHON!!" The blast as Krizalid's rending energy hits ground, twisting and intermixes with Juri's own, is enough to drive even its originator back a few notches!

"Sleep."

Focus comes to the clone slowly as Sagat begins to speak, and the clone begins to frown. "...Good to see Vega's whipped pups pretending they can see and think for themselves," Krizalid finally remarks, in irritation.

He begins conversationally-- "You know, I seem to remember..." --just before his voice drops low, poison dripping form every syllable. "You saying something about my fire not being as hot as Kyo's." It doesn't really seem to bother him as much as you think it would, as if Sagat hit one notch short of a bullseye. he mulls quietly, kindling a new flame in his hand. The temperature begins to climb around him as the windstorm blows his silver hair into a random grey mop.

"We'll see about that."

"FUCK YOU!!!" Juri is not one to mince words, and the rage boiling inside of her is enough to sear away all concerns of such petty matters as 'dignity' or 'decorum'. Her eyes widen briefly, before narrowing in anger. No, she won't go down like this. Not to her own attack, twisted and sent back to her! So she reaches out with hand, its purple glove streaked with blood, and actually knocks the attack out of the way with a backhand!

Like a wild beast she snarls, approaching Krizalid with unrelenting fury in her heart. She'll leap into the air, twisting around to try and drive her feet into the back of his head! Assuming that this works... the fun will begin as she stomps him in the ground three more times: Once for his neck, his upper back, and then down in his lower! All the while she cackles loudly, "FEELS GOOD, HUH!?"

Regardless of how the attack turns out, once it is finished Juri will find herself barely able to keep herself standing. She looks very much like a puppet whose strings can be cut: All but the two holding her torso aloft. Her arms hang uselessly at her side, and her chest heaves rapidly with gulping breaths, "Goddamn... bastard... kill you."

--

In all honestly Sagat is impressed that Juri has managed to stay upright after all the punishment. The fact she is still quick enough to avoid a brutal attack like the one Krizalid had just launched proves she isn't ready to give up just yet. Krizalid might just have to kill her if he wants her to stay down. Of course that is something that cannot be allowed. Sagat has stayed back for the most part to this point, but Juri is looking too run down to where he can just hang back. "I know where I stand. It does not mean I like it." he tells the clone.

He then steps forward and be it if Juri does or doesn't hit him, Sagat is going to grasp at Krizalid and pick him up overhead. "Some of us bide or time is all. I feel sorry for any lack of will you actually have. You are a true puppet. Even Juri isn't that." he comments as he then takes a deep breath and goes to sling Krizalid right into and possibly through the wall of the already damaged base. He doesn't care about how bad off this building gets at this point. The lackeys are already clearing things out and just letting Sagat and Juri handle whatever intruders that are still around.

"Do you think this is about free will?"

Krizalid snorts. It's a short, bitter sound, punctuated with an audible snap as he quells the sacred flames in his hand with a grip of twisting metal. He's looking over his shoulder at Juri now, who somehow managed to survive his attack again. "Puppets, leashes. That's literally the only terms you psionic bumpkins can think in terms of..." His voice is ragged with the wet sound of internal bleeding.

"Do you know why that is?"

It /does/ feel good. Over the next moments, Krizalid is a catalogue of pain. The clone is thrown down by Juri, his vertebrae tensioned and cracked by cannon-like legs, like an artillery battery going off into his spine. But Krizalid grins. He's picked up by Sagat, the massive tower of a man finding his body heavy, but no more resistant to him than a ragdoll. His body, when thrown, folds the wall of the base beneath it, leaving the white-haired clone to sit there, stuck in the wall for a moment as all of his momentum bleeds out and his weight shifts back forward, dropping him onto his boots. But Krizalid grins. His internal heads-up display flickers, from damage to his suboptic relays and the overall massive damage taken to that battlesuit. The normal tint to his vision has cracked noticably--it would be similar to your shades cracking so you can see the real world beyond, except there is no glass over Krizalid's eye. Truthfully, it's a testament to NESTS hardware that it's even still working, as his suit attempts to gather as much data as it can. Energy crawls off his limbs, painful and disjointed.

But Krizalid grins.

"When..URGH..." Krizalid almost vomits there on the spot, but a force of will keeps the clone on his feet. "...When you have the heart of a weakling, you only think in terms of limitations...in terms of what you can't do. You make excuses for your own inadequacy, thinking all the while that you're just biding time until you make your move. As if the people holding your leash didn't know. A miserable condition to be in. At least this one--" he thumbs at Juri, "--knows what she wants. But enough about that. Let me tell you something about me."

He is so unnervingly calm right now. His view begins to highlight all breathing lifeforms in the vicinity, reticules and outline hitboxes appearing around each in his left eye. Krizalid stands up straighter. His voice goes flat.

"I'm a monster. And.. I /like/ it."

The ground cracks underneath Krizalid's body as he kicks off low, his body lengthening as he just explodes into deadly motion, his claws hitting the ground as he flashes across it, heading straight for Juri. And then he disappears entirely, his body lengthening into a motion blur. Suddenly, around the area, flashes of light and sparks flash from the walls as there is the sense of something very heavy moving extremely fast amongst them. Long gouges, four in number, appear in the walls, still hot from the passage of Krizalid's claws. It may seem random.. but the worry marks along with the flashes make the idea clear fast. Krizalid is.. sharpening his claws.

Suddenly, it seems like the clone's talons are /everywhere/ at once, as Krizalid moves to tear everything in the room with a pulse to ribbons with thousands of long slashes to every major artery he can locate. Howver, if you were to lay out his movements on a grid, it's clear Krizalid is focusing on one target: Juri.

If Krizalid isn't stopped, it'll be over in less than five seconds.

He'll be gone. And this place will be a huge, huge mess.

COMBATSYS: Krizalid can no longer fight.

Juri's last attack was a success, but it seems that's truly what it was: Her last attack. Much like Krizalid, the guinea pig of Shadaloo has her own internal display. It overlays her left field of vision and gives her constant updates on the condition of her opponents, and her own condition. The results are not good. The Feng Shui Engine can be heard whining softly as it spins at incredible speeds within the confines of Juri's hollowed out eyesocket. It's trying to keep up with the incredible energy demands of a body bled dry of everything.

Still there is enough fight left in her that when she hears Krizalid standing she is able to bring her head up to look directly at the clone. Her left eye glows dimly with that same garish purple light, while the right is bloodshot: But both are filled with barely restrained rage. Her rain-soaked black hair hangs limply over the front of her face, partially obscuring her features. But it's still easy to make out her mouth spread into a teeth-clenched snarl. Combined with her pale skin and the woman looks very much like some grudge-induced monster from a Japanese horror flick.

"Shut up and die already."

Those are the only words she has left for Krizalid, whose platitudes fail to impress. In truth though she recognizes a lot of herself within the strange man. It's unnerving in a way. She knows of him much of what Shadaloo knows, and thus also knows how many parallels there are in her history. In a different, kinder world perhaps they could comfort one another. In this harsh reality though nothing would please her more than for Krizalid to simply lay down and breathe his last.

Not that he is going to, no, things couldn't be that simple. Instead he streaks his way toward Juri with incredible speed! Then... vanishes? No, her left eye can track the motions. He is moving faster than human sight can follow, but not faster than Juri's cybernetically enhanced vision can track. Still there is not much she can do. She takes a deep breath...

Blood sprays everywhere! A beautiful, crimson fountain from many, many, /many/ deep claw wounds across Juri's pale flesh. Error messages scream across her left field of vision before it fades to static, and suddenly the Taekwondoka's body feels very heavy. She collapses to her knees slowly but surely. But before she collapses completely she chuckles softly and whispers in a hoarse tone:

"Sa...gat... y-you'll be the one to carry me. This time."

"No, I am not a monster." Sagat admits. He starts to leap forward towards Krizalid when that attack erupts. The calloused skin of the large fighter is lacerated and cloth is ripped up from the attack. And where Krizalid needs only five seconds to escape Sagat apparently needed about seven to reach him. Instead he lands with a frown. He shakes his head as he scans the area and sees that Juri finally seems to have been felled as well. "Not a monster, but a god." is all he says, unsure and honestly uncaring if Krizalid could hear him. "Of course a failure such as him could probably not understand such a thing." he muses to himself as he stalks towards Juri.

He looks down at her for a moment and he gives just a nod. As much as they don't get along he has to respect what she was able to do in this case. He reaches down with one large hand and he picks the much smaller woman up to put over a shoulder. "Don't get any ideas. We still hate eachother." He tells her and he gives a shake of his head. A few of the lackeys appear again. 'Sir, everything is packed and ready to move!' he says before being quickly dismissed. Sagat just goes to follow without saying much and not caring about the wounds he is sporting at the moment. There is a car waiting outside the remnants of the base and Juri set in it. "Go ahead. I will make sure we don't have any unwelcome guests that wish to follow." he tells them.

The vehicles belonging to Shadaloo pull out and Sagat is soon left on his own once again. He frows slighty and he pushes over a bit of wall that still manages to be standing and he starts to stalk off. These NESTS people are starting to be quite a problem. Perhaps he best go on more of an offensive to stifle this problem before it gets worse.

COMBATSYS: Sagat has ended the fight here.

His boots steam from the amount of force he was putting on them.

In all truth, he was rather disappointed. The taekwondoka was a lot more tenacious in hindsight than his battle data indicated. He wanted to take Sagat's blood badly, but it simply wasn't to be. Not with her there. However, that nrew person. .'Juri,' was it? She might be of interest to the Cartel later. Of interest to him..

She didn't bleed nearly enough for his tastes for getting in his way.

He limps away, to pick up Angel--she'd better already be halfway to the exit shuttle when he gets there, else he's going to pick her up and drag her back. That's the way Krizalid is. Bleeding, with absolutely nothing left.. .but he'll spend his last few ounces of consciousness dragging a comrade away bodily to prove a point.

Lord knows one doesn't want to find Krizalid on a bad day, let alone one like this.

--

Juri is a monster.

There is no doubt about it. She kills innocent people for fun, and seems to enjoy watching others suffer. But were Sagat to take a moment after placing Juri in the vehicle to look at her he might have realized that what he was carrying isn't a twisted monster, but a young woman. A woman rendered unconscious by many, many, /many/ grievous injuries. And in her sleep, where she is not cackling with sadistic glee or threatening to crush someone's puppy, it's easier to see that side of her.

The door to the black vehicle slides closed and it pulls away. Before long Juri will be delivered intact into Seth 15's eagerly waiting hands. Her body will be easy enough to mend, and the data she has collected is invaluable to his purposes. After all, though what Krizalid wields is merely a /copy/ of the sacred Kusanagi flame it's still one step closer to the original article itself. Furthermore the information on Krizalid and Angel stored within the Feng Shui Engine will be very interesting, and very useful.

As for the SIN Spider, she'll be back up and kicking around redshirts in no time. Though this battle has left a mark on her, and she'll definitely look forward to more 'fun and games' with her fellow monster in the future.
