Description: Add one ninja and one luchador and see what results may happen. Two skilled fighters that rely on speed go all out to see who just happens to be the better fighter. (Winner: El Fuerte)
Yuri arrives from elsewhere.
The dark night of Vegas.... is brighter than the /sun/. At least it seems that way from up close. The dark night is pierced by the endless beams of light that fill the sky. If the sky itself wasn't a shade of black, it's possible the many tourists and those that happen to live there may never know the difference from night and day!
But, since just the sweet allure of getting rich quick isn't enough, sometimes they have to /spice things up/. What better way than a wrestler chef and a monkey ninja FIGHTING? Of course, BETS on which will win! The Neo League making a decent profit, as well as the casinos.
The 'stage' is the roped off plot of land, the tape keeping the tourists safe from the threat of wounds! At least unless they stand too close. it just happens to be in the heart of the action, in between the buildings of slots and card tables. "Place your bets, place your bets!" A man yells, standing on top of a van - which happens to be setting up to record the match.
"Hah, this'll be no problem!"
With a POOF, and an eruption of smoke ( and a little bit of coughing from said smoke ) Hokutomaru appears, scarf trailing after him as he drops a foot to the ground. Stretching out, the ninja kid slides the stick off her back and leans on it, glancing around. They promised him a buffet, all he could eat, after he was done - win or lose! Of COURSE he agreed!
"But it's kinda bright. Oh well, a true ninja doesn't need the cover of night!" The grin across his face sticks.
So many people came to watch HIM fight! But .. perhaps they have mostly come for another spicy surprise!?
With damages to his restaurant still being calculated and much money being spent it doesn't hurt to make some extra bank doing fights like this for El Fuerte. Even the losers purse isn't horrible. Right now the chef hasn't been a happy camper since all this happened the night he and his new tag partner Hugo were taking on Heidern for a SNF battle. He returned to find things in ruins and people for once complaining about something other than the cuisine the chef usually prepares and serves. This Mr. Chef Karate as well as Raiden shall pay. Interpool may be on the case, but even worse is the wratch of a vengeful Hurricane of the Gulf!
The trunks and mask he wears tonight are white with gold trim. Something that easily makes him stand out among the bright lights of the city this evening. Like a blur the luchador comes running towards the roped off area and he leaps high in the air. "Iiiiiiiiiit's!" he declares as he flips about and soon lands across from where the ninja stands and he thrusts a finger in the air. "DYNAMIC COOKING TIME!" Despite his troubles he seems to have a large grin on his face as he poses for the crowd then he turns about to face the much younger fighter and he looks a bit quizzicle.
My they really do start early these days it would seem. He gives a stout nod and a thumbs up to the ninja. "Let us make this a good fight!" If this kid is good enough to enter himself in the league then the luchador will believe it. The officials wouldn't let any ordinary person in afterall.

It's what time!? Hokutomaru's head snaps about as he hears the yelling, turning to face what could be some sort of problem - it's dynamic cooking time!? Hokutomaru's eyes open wide, the ninja boys mouth hanging open - especially as the masked cook poses.
"Oh! So cool! Do you do that all the time?"
Sliding the rather large and basic stick under his arm, Hokutomaru points back, falling back into somewhat of a stance, facing the far older cook as he glances about. Not entirely too many places to get a good footing, nor was there any really place to leap off of or any of that. He'd have to improvise! But he /was/ a skilled ninja. He'd be fine!
"Yeah, you bet! Hmmm.. it won't be good if we just stand here for too long ... so lets skip that!"
Upon saying that, Hokutomaru leaps forwards, towards ElFuerte - stick pulled back...! POOF. Into a cloud of smoke he vanishes. Behind ElFuerte, the massive stick shipping around for the back of his head, swinging as he falls from mid-air!

The luchador seems to beam with pride when the question is asked. "Of course I do! The Hurricane of the Gulf never holds back and is full of energy!" he declares and actually gives a loud laugh afterwards. He does seem to get a bit serious when the ninja mentions keeping in place too long. It is too true tha the people here in Las Vegas are a bunch that don't like to pay or wage on a slow and methodic fight. That is probably why they got a ninja and a luchador to do battle. Even with the trickery the luchador seems to be thinking fast on his feet and he quickly dashes forward to where Hokutomaru hits nothing but air.
And Fuerte? He just keeps running until he nears the rope and leaps upwards to push his feet against it. He then launches himself towards the ninja as he twists about, his hands reaching to grasp Hokutomaru around the neck area and spin about it to where it almost looks like he is a helicopter blade when using the momentum to lift up the younger fighter. If he manages to get a good amount of momentum behid him he releases to send the other fighter sailing across the roped off area. "Ole!"

"Hahah! Wow, then this'll really be something!"
And it is! As Hokutomaru goes for the whack, Fuerte simply runs past, using that rope to propell himself up and into the air, twisting around to grab the smallest ninja around the neck. He sort of gets it, but Hokutomaru's struggling makes it difficult to land the rather powerful assault! He manages to take absorb some of the shock just by clinging on tight - until leaunched away.
The loss of momentum allows Hokutomaru to somewhat ball up, lessening the force he takes as he rolls against the ground to a stop.
"Gaahh... That's really something!" Hokutomaru claims, as he springs back to his feet - and bounds forwards.
Dashing forth, the ninja boy leaps skywards, bring both hands back and then swinging them forwards, intending to hammer the dynamic cook! Simple? Totally. But Hokutomaru goes for the gold, no matter how dangerous!

Such an agile boy from the looks of it. This shall be a fun matchup given the previous few fights for Fuerte have been against people larger in size and not as speedy. It is nice to meet someone more along his style even if ninjitsu and lucha libre truely is a bit of a contrast in some ways. He lands flat on his feet and is quick to be on the defensive when he realizes Hokutomaru is a quick thinker and manages to avoid the full brunt of the toss. He grins and he waits for an opening as he watches the young ninja dash in.
He might have talent, but Hokutomaru is still green given his age. At least in comparison to someone like El Fuerte who started wrestling around the same age and has had a decade or so to hone his craft. Even as the ninja slams into him the luchador strikes back. He lets Hokutomaru slam into him but he soon grips the other fighter and slams a shoulder into him before picking him up and twisting about to drop the younger fighter onto his head. "Quesadilllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BOMB!" he declares as he backflips away after releasing the young fighter.
The fists make contact, and Hokutomaru is pleasantly surprised. Hah! He sure got past hi-HUH!? The arms about him suddenly become apparent. So too does the sudden powerful g-forces as he's spun around by the luchaor, after he's loosened by a shoulder strike. Hokutomaru hits, hard, against the ground - standing on his head a bit as El Fuerte leaps away.
THUMP. Hokutomaru falls onto his back. For a bit - everything is silent. The boy doesn't move.
"Hahahah!" Hokutomaru flips back to his feet, rubbing his head. "You really know how to hurt someone! Ow, ow ow!" He says, rubbing his head as he laughs. The monkey child indeed had fallen on his head many a time, but it's not like it has left and permanent damage!
It still really hurts, though. With El Fuerte leaping away, the grin on Hokutomaru's face vanishes a bit - he'll have to really get serious, since he was taken advantage of once already!
A single hand vanishes into his baggy clothing and ... suddenly three rather oversized shuriken are spirraling through the air towards El Fuerte, intent on digging into his flesh!

The luchador seems pleased with what he has done and is impressed with how the younger manages to recover rather quickly. He nods in approval then he straightens up when he notices just what is being pulled out. He supposes he shouldn't be surprised since the other fighter is a ninja, but the size of those shuriken are the part that make El Fuerte surprised when they are produced. "How did you hi-" He doesn't even get a chance to finish asking his question. Instead he finds himself having to try to get out of the way. And while that first one is avoided there is a problem with the other two. Both of them slam into the torso of the wrestler and he lands with a visible look of pain across his features despite the mask somewhat covering things up.
"I see. It would be time for trickery hmm?" he asks while pulling each shuriken out and dropping them to the ground. He takes a deep breath and he tries to shake things off. "It does not matter! The Hurricane of the gulf will prevail!" he declares and even so he holds back for a moment. That didn't exacly feel good and he needs a moment to consider his options.

As they actually stick, Hokutomaru, a hand out still from launching them off and away, blinks. A bit in disbelief, a little bit in surprise... and a lot in understanding. Hahah! If that werid three leaf ninja could see him now, he'd totally agree that he is without a doubt the very best ninja!
"Huh? It's not trickery! Every ninja has shuriken!" Hokutomaru goes back to grinning as he explains. "Infact I'm not sure you can be a ninja without them!" It's a point that he has drilled into his own head. Self brainwashing!
But maybe he needs one of those weird and cool titles. It's gotta be part of the reason he fights so hard, and hits equally so! Tilting his head, Hokutomaru takes a time to think, looking down to rub a hand through his hair.
"Well uh... the monkey of the forest is ready!"
Despite needing a lot of work there... as he dashes towards Elfuerte, he leaves himself open....!! Up until he leaps through the air, suddenly dropping to the ground to slam a heel into the hurricane's legs and bowl him over, attempting to stop the superstorm from blowing him down!

So the warrior's true name is given finally! Now the luchador knows this shall be a fight! "The Monkey of the Forest! Such a great name! You truely must be a great warrior!" Oh Fuerte, how you are so easily impressed by things. Even so he knows this fighter to be plenty dangerous despite his age. Those two throbbing wounds in his torso are enough to let him know that is the case. He takes a deep breath and watches as the ninja quickly moves and comes in to strike.
That is when the luchador actually moves back a few steps and he then slings himself forward. He seems to have judged where Hokutomaru would land and while the ninja does strike on the legs, those legs are propelling forward in a slide of their own as the luchador attempts to just ruin the proper landing that the younger fighter might have planned as he slides forward and pops back up to his feet while spinning about. "That is it! My blood is pumping! This will be a true battle, Monkey of the Forest!"
A fight in which Hokutomaru will have to /really/ catch up! He's trailing so far behind - and while he moves to keep up with ElFuerte, perhaps the man is just a bit too saucy to catch up to! The luchador slings himself forwards, and while legs meet legs, Hokutomaru manages to get struck in a rather embarassing interrupt!
"Huwhaaaaaa!?" Hokutomaru's knocked into the air, spins once, and then lands on his front, staring forwards. Oh man - how did that happen!? Blinking twice, he pushes himself off the ground, shaking himself off much like the way a dog would, before turning to face the Luchador once more.
"Hahah! You're fast too... I guess that's why you're a hurricane!" But there's always the way to stop him - he just has to find it! Leaping into the air, Hokutomaru poofs - and appears behind ElFuerte, as he dives for his legs, trying to uproot the man from behind.
"HEY! Over here!" He thinks he's so smart!

The compliments might just go to El Fuerte's head a bit. He always appreciates it when someone realizes how truely incredible his speed is. "Of course! I would not give myself such a title if it were not true!" he replies and lets out a hearty laugh again. This time it allows Hokutomaru something he has needed and that is a moment to find an opening. He poofs and before even the luchador realizes it he is sent into the air and he lands on his head and shoulders from his legs being taken out from under him.
He doesn't stay in that position long and he quickly kips back up to his feet and he chases after the ninja to close any gap that the younger fighter tried to put between them. "Not bad!" he says while grinning broadly as he jumps forward and slings both legs outwards to slam into Hokutomaru and send the ninja sprawling with a nicely aimed dropkick.

Elfuerte's attempt at following the ninja, chasing after him, is a close one. Hokutomaru is fast - and small - but he is no match in outrunning a hurricane! Especially not one from the /gulf/. ElFuerte's leap forwards, two legs swinging out to slam into him and send him away ... is interrupted as Hokutomaru suddenly vanishes!
"Nice try, that one was close!"
The boy exclaims as he gets the drop on the dropkick, swinging around his stick as he drops from above, aiming towards the back of the Hurricane, at which point Hokutomaru attempts to use the strike as a way to launch himself backwards, and away!
"So here's my own try!"

Just as El Fuerte thinks he will hit his mark he is traveling over empty space where the ninja once was. The luchador is fast but he is far from being able to just up and disappear like that. It is an impressive feat that even a man as quick as Fuerte can appreciate since he may never be able to do it himself. Of course he might not need to since his own blur of speed is often enough to let him avoid things. Such as how he can avoid the strike of the ninja right now. He dashes forward at a blinding speed to avoid it and he once again leaps forward almost like he is about to jump out of the roped off area.
Instead he lands and balances on the rope before hopping to turn about so he can face his adversary. "Such speed. You could do well as a luchador if things fell a different way for you!" he says and then launches himself forward. There is nothing really fancy with his attack. He is just coming in forward with an arm extended with the intent on slamming it into the chest of Hokutomaru to clothesline him to the ground. "Ole!"

The stick crashes against the ground, and while Hokutomaru is left to somewhat flail as the ground under him got just a bit farther down, the stick is pressed against the ground, sending the small ninja, ahem, the Monkey in the Forest backwards, away from El Fuerte with enough distance to prepare!
Jokes on him, Fuerte is already giving him time! "Huh? ... Oh, yeah! But I'd still want to be a ninja!" Hokutomaru responds, a bit confused. Maybe he could be, but he really, really, prefers the lifestyle and combat capabilities of a ninja! Hokutomaru gives him a thumbs up - and then suddenly there is a shade of darkness overcoming him.
Oh that's just ElFuerte coming down with an arm extended to SMASH him!
The arm, extended, just about reaches Hokutomaru - and then a puff of smoke erupts. Fuerte's attack is stopped cold, the stick in the way, as Hokutomaru suddenly barrels out, spinning it forwards, as the young fighter and stick are coated in a slight wreath of wind, chi surrounding them both as he erupts forwards, and past Fuerte, leaving him somewhat battered before the boy comes to a rest again.
"And you're so fast, you might've made a good ninja... but ninja's need to know how to use that cloud, so I don't know." Even that other guy forgot to use it! Poor him.
Can Mexicans even be ninjas? It may never be known since most of the quick and athletic ones end up as luchadors. It is sort of like a strange similarity since most are often masked and speedy afterall. He doesn't even realize what is about to happen when he sails in either. Instead he is barreled into and his arm doesn't even find its mark as he instead he is sent flying away and he lands on the ground face down with an audible 'oof'. He quickly pushes himself upwards and he gets back to his feet as he shakes off the fuzzy vision.
"I do not believe I could be both ninja and a chef! That seems too complicated!" But somehow being a chef and luchador is normal? It doesn't seem like either individual think in a normal spectrum. El Fuerte straightens up and he rests one hand on his hip and thrusts the other in the air. "Very well! I, El Fuerte, shall give a special show to our viewers!" he declares before roaring loudly. "IT TRUELY IS DYNAMIC COOKING TIME NOW!"

"Complicated? Yeah, it might be... but I'm sure someone can be one!" Perhaps all three is difficult, but Hakutomaru can be anything - so ElFuerte can as /well/!
As El Fuerte stands tall, declaring that he will give them such a special show, the little ninja that could is sneaking forwards, slowly moving closer to him as he bellows. Perhaps it's true, but that doesn't mean Hokutomaru is going to back down from a challenge.
"Well I'm ready!"
And in the spirit of El Fuerte standing back, Hokutomaru stands tall himself, hooking a thumb back to himself! And vanishes. Which means... POOF! Infront of ElFuerte, the stick is swung to strike him SQUARE in the face if he's not fast enough!
"So this should be no problem!"

He is still in that pose when he suddenly finds the ninja vanishing and quickly reappearing in front of him. There is little time to actually move his feet to avoid things so instead he quickly leans back as Hokutomaru swings and the luchador clasps his hands behind his back and makes a bit of a matrix move as he leans back fully with feet resting on the toes and his head almost touching the ground. That was a bit too close for sure.
Of course he quickly snaps back up straight and his feet plant firmly on the ground as the luchador goes to grasp for Hokutomaru. He leaps upwards to twirl about and then to toss the ninja in the air to catch him. He attempts to twist Hokutomaru about in the air and then leap forward as he turns to where the ninja is going to be planted head first into the pavement. "Fajitas BUUUUUUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"(wulf)

Grasping for Hokutomaru, El Fuerte gets him at the apex, and twirls the boy around! Thrown about, Hokutomaru manages to just barely hang on, tossed and turned around like a party favor! But it's at the end, to be planted head first into the pavement ( and it's probably clean, at least! ), that Hokutomaru makes himself smaller.
Balled up, Hokutomaru stands, staggering a bit after the slam. "Woah.. that one was... really something!" he's at a loss for words. Perhaps it's the very end!
But he doesn't give off, once more shaking off the numbness like a dog. It's not over yet - and he makes it certain as he jumps in towards El Fuerte - and grapples for him!? He attmepts to just bowl the man right over, tacklinginto him head first and trying to make the wrestler go on a roll!
After all, he did learn part monkey!

This young one is truely as slippery as the luchador is when it comes to being tossed about. The Neo League officials really did outdo themselves in suggesting these two fighters should meet in a match. The crowd itself is rather excited by all the tumbling and striking that is happening. It is a case where two styles match up rather well in the long run. "I will show you all that I have for being such a good challenge!" the luchador assures Hokutomaru when he is complimented once again.
Of course the ninja soon realizes that might be happening sooner than later in this case. He slams into El Fuerte, but the luchador only lets out a loud grunt and doesn't move back even a step from impact. Instead he shoves Hokutomaru back and bursts into action. "EL FUERTE......" he begins before flipping forward and slamming into the ninja several times before becoming a flurry of several strikes. He then leaps high into the air and starts to come crashing down on the younger fighter full force. "DYNAMITE!"
The charge forwards from Hokutomaru is answered with a rather uncerimonious grab from the luchador - but that doesn't mean that the resulting display isn't what the people of Las vegas didn't come to see!
The small ninja boy is slammed into, tossed about, like some kind of pinata! Perhaps it's a good thing the ninja didn't see this after all! The boy has all his fight knocked right out of him! Tossed about by each strike, Hokutomaru is launched up - only to have the luchador crash down onto him.
The ninja boy manages to barely pull away, staggering to his feet. "It's not over yet... I still have... one more trick...!" He grins, holding a scroll upwards - it burns!
And then he falls flat on his face, the scroll unwraveling before him!
Needless to say, there is no trick in the end! Hokutomaru lies defeated - and will he ever get that buffet!?
"That was pretty great... I guess you win after all!"

El Fuerte quickly leaps off of and flips away from the ninja once he makes that final impact and he seems ready for whatever might be planned. It looks to be a rather elaborate one at that given a scroll is produced. The luchador prepares for whatever it may be and instead he is met with Hokutomaru instead collapsing and then admitting defeat. He hesitates only a moment before the official calls the fight and declares El Fuerte the winner. Ninjas are known for their trickery afterall.
El Fuerte beams and lets out another laugh as he crosses his arms over his chest and does a bit of a dance as he hops from foot to foot and spins in a circle. "Of course it was great! I would not lie to you, boy!" he says with a loud laugh. He then offers to help pull Hokutomaru to his feet and he slaps the ninja on the back. "For such amazing skills let me cook for you tonight!" And that begins a story where Hokutomaru may regret ever hoping for that big buffet in the sky.
