Cammy - Cammy spies on Aranha

Description: Cammy meets Aranha in some underground fight club, to observe him fight and afterwards to ask him a few questions and tell him the wise future course of his relationship with Shadaloo - ie, stay out of Vega's way!

At this point, Aranha had three candidates to join Wing and his team for the King of Fighters tournament. Sure he could stop there but he wanted to make sure he could pick the best possible team he could when the tournament came along, so he sought out more potentials.

That's what brings him to this fight club near the harbor in one of the warehouses there. Aranha has been making money while he was here which was a good thing but no one so far has shown him anything worth a second look. He has been making quick work of his opponents, most of his fights lasting 10 seconds and that was only because he was waiting to see what they were going to do first.

It's gotten to the point where he's given up hope on finding someone here at this fight club tonight and so now he's outside of the ring toweling off.

Cammy is clad in her red cloak as she usually is when wandering around the world aimlessly. Fight clubs are like honey to the Killer Bee, and it's not hard for the psycho powered doll to find them, with all the emotions they engender.

And so Cammy is in the crowd, a small figure amongst a lot of cheering, far more burly looking guys - the usual spectator in this sort of place. And watching, with some interest. And waiting for an angle.

Slipping over to Aranha, she favours him with her best smile from under her hood. "Good afternoon." she says pleasantly enough.

The cloaked Shadaloo agent comes up to him after he has wiped the sweat off of himself. He doesn't turn right away but when he does he sees a blond right next to him. A blonde that while he doesn't know her he knows of her. Most importantly he knows of her affiliation... at least while she's brainwashed. He knows that affiliation is nothing but trouble for him.

"Good afternoon," he says in response though he doesn't let the tenseness he's feeling leak into his voice. He takes immediate stock of exit locations and the most efficient paths to them because he's wondering if something's about to go down.

Cammy doesn't even know of her own reputation for being a defector. She bows her head very briefly in greeting, before straightening and brushing the blonde tuft away from her face. "You are Aranha, right?" she asks, glancing up at him. And then she follows his gaze, over to the exits, before her gaze returns to him, this time with a small smile.

"Don't worry. This is only a social call." she tells him. "No pain is going to be involved, unless you do something very foolish, of course. I am only here to talk.".

"Yeah. That's what I'm called." He then turns back to Cammy, he takes deep breath before letting out the air in a sigh. Aranha's mind goes over the fighting footage that he has seen of her putting it together with the physical measurements he's taking of her now. Not that he'll be using them now but rather because they might come in handy later on.

"A social call you say." Aranha pauses for a moment as if considering how to say what he wants to ask without things blowing up. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?" What he really wants to ask is, 'What the fuck are you doing here and why won't you fuckers leave me alone!?!?'

"I am surprised you know who I am. I don't believe we've ever met before. You must be paying attention to Shadaloo. You've been involved with Shadaloo in the past, no?" Cammy notes, more a statement than a question. "In a somewhat adversarial capacity. That is part of why I am here, to see why that is. You are not affiliated with the NESTS or anything like that, after all.".

Cammy shrugs thin shoulders under her cloak. "So why do you care. Lord Vega hasn't killed your father too, has he?" she wonders aloud. Maybe joking, but if its a joke, her English accented voice remains deadpan, her face serious.

If Shadaloo killed his father, he probably would've joined them in gratitude and then afterwards would've either realized that he was in over his head or became like Elle Belmonunte both of which would've been bad situations for this capoeirista. "Nah. Nothing like that."

He begins, counting on his fingers as he recounts the events of the Southtown war. "No. You just blow up my bus and shoot at me when I'm just trying to go home. Your soldiers shoot at me when I try to handle my day to day business, and in general harassed me whenever I had gone out on the street. Then you guys act surprised when I get tired of it and retaliate. Then after that you send one of your fighters to my place and then she after she gets done pounding one of your messages into me, tells me I should've stayed out of your organization's way when I have been doing nothing /but/ trying to stay out of their way during that Southtown war until I got pushed too far."

Cammy ahs. "Well, thats unfortunate." she says smoothly. "Though I am glad to hear that Marz delivered the message so effectively, even if you apparently have not acted on it, I will have to congratulate her when I see her again." she smiles. "I am sure we didn't blow up your bus just to kill you. I doubt Lord Vega cares about you, after all. It was just bad luck being in His way, I am sure.".

"Anyway, Marz was correct, you should have stayed out of the way, no matter how far you are 'pushed'. Lord Vega will do what he wills, it would be better for you if you stayed out of his way. It is arrogant to assume you can somehow push back, when Lord Vega is involved.".

"And yet, you're here right now despite the fact that I've done nothing involving Shadaloo since the war. Calling me on 'not acting on the advice' only serves to prove one thing. That no matter what I do short of committing suicide, Shadaloo will keep coming to me and that ends up reinforcing that simply by existing I'll forever be in your organization's way."

Aranha shrugs. "The way you guys do things just seem to put across the wrong message. But is there anything else you have to say, or are we done here?"

Cammy frowns at him, and even pouts a bit, her hands in her pockets apparently clenching and pressing down, stretching her cloak out over her body (she's really, really thin apparently). "What? I am here, talking to you nicely enough. Diplomatically. Where none is truly needed either, as it is doubtful that you will ever be significant to Lord Vegas eyes, so perhaps even granting you a kindness."

"I don't think my coming to you to merely talk tells you anything. Friendly warnings, friendly questions.". Cammy rarely looks friendly though, and right now she certainly does not, the frown lingering. "Maybe all wasted on you.".

He looks over the Zero doll carefully analyzing her expressions and her body carefully. "It's what you guys say combined with how you guys do things. Nothing you've said was diplomatic. You've all but declared war on me. Your words, your actions, your facial features. The way your pockets are bunched up as if you're balling a fist."

He then raises a finger, his memories of his encounter with the boxer though considering how hard he got hit, it's impressive that he remembers anything about that moment in time. "Further more, you guys send conflicting messages. Bison had made it quite clear that staying out of your way wasn't enough. He said and I quote..." He lets his voice drop into a horrible impersonation of of Mike Bison, "Lissen, kid. You ain't with none of us. That means you at least a problem. We here t' take care o' problems." He pauses letting the words and their implications set in before he lets his normal voice say his thoughts on the matter. "As long as I'm not with Shadaloo, I'll be perceived as a problem. If I'm perceived as a problem, staying out of their way isn't an option even if my only desire is to be left alone. And if I join Shadaloo I won't be left alone either because I'm aware of the fact that you guys have a longer list of enemies than... I don't know. Point is I know that I'm stuck in a lose lose and that not being attached to any organization suits me better than anything else."

Cammy waves a hand dismissively. "Mike Bison has been hit in the head too many times." she says dismissively. She was never a fan of the big lug boxer. "The world is big. So long as you do not impede Lord Vega's wishes we never need meet again. If you do impede them, then it isn't too surprising that Bison gave you a visit, as I am giving you a visit. You have kept out of the way for some time, so this visit is cordial. And I am much more polite by nature than Bison is, no?".

She glances down at her pockets, and shrugs. "So sad that my body language is to your liking right after you complain to me about my delivery. From my point of view, all you do is complain, which is odd given how nice I am being. You don't seem very reasonable to me, given your potential situation, if you annoy the Master.". She draws in a breath. "Oh well. I have explained the situation to you in good faith in the spirit of diplomacy, so my task here is complete. I hope you never find yourself worthy of the masters time in the future.". And she bows her head again briefly, and turns, to stalk off to the doorway.

"I never said anything about liking your body language. I just said that it is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less." He shrugs and returns his attention to the fight. As far as he's concerned this conversation is over.
