Ibuki - In The Park

Description: Ibuki and Cammy meet and bond over cheescake in the park.

Cammy has had a rough couple of days, culminating in an encounter in Thailand that culminated in her being thrown into a building, practically destroying it in the process. It /hurt/. And to avoid a few days more of hurt, it necessitated a trip to the Shadaloo vats, which is always bad for the reputation, given the average Shadaloo troopers love of seeing the people who are usually beating them up and ordering them around being beaten up, in turn.

But that's all in the past now! The company back at the base is usually disagreeable in the extreme, with the exception of the other Dolls, so for a bit of a mini vacation Cammy is visiting Southtown, hanging around one of the schools, which if she had a more normal upbringing she may well have been attending for real. Clad in her disguise of a red cloak, she's settled in the park near the entrance of Seijyun High, the hood of her cloak down for a little bit exposing her face, as she's munching on a slice of cheesecake which she somehow managed to obtain from somewhere in this not-exactly-famous-for-its-cheesecake location, Japan. Still it's an international sort of place.

It'd been a rough month for Ibuki, she'd only recently gotten back from Taizou and then had to report her findings to the village chief, in all it'd been a huge hassle that as she suspected resulted in more training with special attention given to endurance and remaining conscious. Then she got a week of normal school which had been ultimately like heaven compared to her training, but unfortunately that didn't last as she was a again sent to Southtown to do some investigations related to the school she'd started to look into on her last visit.

With a little sigh, Ibuki looks to the school and shakes her head, she'd much rather just be attending the place like a normal girl than having to look into for her village, they also had really cute uniforms not that she disliked her own uniform, the blue vest and pleated skirt were both quite good looking on her. Walking past the girl in the cloak for a moment, Ibuki suddenly stops blinks a few times then turns and looks at the girl, blinks a few more times, then points at the cheesecake, "That looks delicious, where did you find it?!" If she's going to be doing boring stake out duty she's soooo going to be bad and have something terrible for her ninja diet in retaliation, not that she really followed the diet for her village all that much anyway.

Cammy blinks in surprise, looking at up Ibuki with wide blue eyes. After a slight pause, she reaches up to brush her errant tuft of blonde hair out of her eyes, and then looks down at the cheesecake in her hand briefly, before looking back at up at Ibuki. "...You like cheesecake?" she replies, surprised.

"I didn't think it was very popular here. There are shops that sell western food here though. Even British food.". A country as famous for its fine food as Japan is famous for its cheesecake, really - ie, not. But then Cammy's voice does have an English accent, sort of, though right now very flat, toneless. "Want to try?". She holds out the slice for Ibuki to take.

While Ibuki ponders whether to eat cheesecake or not, Cammy eyes her school uniform.

Ibuki tilts her head and smirks at the question before turning it back on its asker, "Why wouldn't I like cheesecake?" Her brown eyes obviously filled with amusement at the question. "Hmm, it's not unpopular though. I'm rather fond of it myself actually." She admits with her easy smile, "Though eating a lot of it's probably bad for you." She chuckles lightly at this point.

As the blond British woman offers her a piece of the confection, Ibuki's grin widens, "Well if you don't mind...I wouldn't mind having a slice." At which point she promptly sits down next to the cloaked girl, very careful to make sure no one sees anything due to her short skirt, "Thank you very much, Miss." She looks at the cloak while she savors the first bite of her cheesecake, "Is that a new fashion trend in England right now?" She obviously picked up on the accent, which means she's got some practice dealing with different groups of English speakers.

Cammy isn't exactly English - faux-English maybe - but so happens that she did happen to be in London last week on business so she has at least been there recently. "No, not unpopular, if something tastes good you'll find someone in any city in the world eating it, probably. And eating too much of anything good is probably bad for you. There is cruelty in the way of things, even the ways of food.".

She looks down at her cloak, and shrugs a little. "Well. It does rain a lot there." she ventures after a moment. And pats the red fabric. "And I am quite fond of it anyway. Why? Don't you like it?". Now the Doll is maybe a little concerned, if it makes her stand out or look stupid or something.

This is actually one of those rare situations where Cammy doesn't mind company, so she favours Ibuki with a thin smile. "What is your name?" she asks. "I don't think we've ever met before, though my memory is terrible, so I could well be wrong.".

It's close enough that Ibuki assume's that is where Cammy is from, "Hmm, you're probably right about that. Everyone likes something that tastes good afterall." She pauses though as Cammy continues about the cruelty of food, "Hmm, I don't know if I'd call it cruel so much as a balance, if you eat something like that you have to pay for it later by exercising to work it off right?" She quickly takes another bite of her cheesecake enjoying the sweet flavor of it, "Because how could something so tasty be cruel really?"

Looking at the cloak again, "I guess so." The brunette says without indicating if she knows all that much about England or not though the follow up question almost causes her to gag on the piece of cheesecake she was swallowing, with a few coughs she finally manages to get out, "No, no, it's fine...just not something you'd see lots of people wear here." She waves her hand, "But it does look good on you." A sheepish smile is offered up before she stuffs another piece of her slice into her mouth.

Looking at Cammy in curiousity, "Ibuki is my name, nice to meet you." She pauses, "I can't remember having met you either, and I generally have a good memory so it's probably fair to say we've never met before Miss...?" It's obvious she's asking for Cammy to offer her own name now.

Cammy shrugs. "I think it seems cruel to me. Everything that tastes good is bad for you, really. And thats why it tastes good - sugars and whatever else. While the things that are healthy don't really taste good at all. Like, I don't know. Celery. It doesn't taste of anything. You might as well eat a piece of paper. Whoever designed our tastes had a cruel streak.".

"Ibuki. No, I've never met you before that I remember. And my name, uhh.". She hesitates a bit, she doesn't want there to be a fight on her day off after all. So tiresome. But meh, is Ibuki a scholar of Shadaloo? Probably not. "I'm Cammy.". And she frowns a bit as it looks like Ibuki is planning on eating the whole damn thing as another slice gets eaten!

"I don't know about that all sorts of things taste good, fruit tastes very good after all and is pretty good for you, right?" Ibuki begins her counterargument, "Then there's well seasoned foods, meats, different types of vegetables taste good when prepared with other things." She grins wider, "Rice is also pretty good with things." She chuckles, "But I guess the very best things flavorwise aren't all that good for you, but like I said if you exercise enough you don't need to worry about the 'bad' part right?"

Ibuki nods her head at Cammy, "I didn't think we had." She notes the other girl's hesitation to say her name and slows her pace of eating her cheesecake to look at her, "Like I said nice to meet you Cammy." The ninja at this point doesn't know all that much about Shadaloo at all so the faux Brit girl can rest easy.

"So what brings you to Southtown?" Ibuki slows her eating to ask as she again regards Cammy, "Some sort of cheesecake businesss?" She winks playfully a moment after saying this trying to get the other girl to at least smile once during their conversation.

Cammy ponders that. "Well, you are right, all those things are good to an extent, but cheesecake is better.". Alas, to be lumbered with a sweet-ish tooth. "And exercise, well, yes. Thats not so bad though. I'm very fortunate in that regard, at least, compared to many - people are born with different gifts after all when it comes to physical activity, and I've always been good at that sort of thing.".

It's kinda hard to tell under the huge cloak but despite her being found with cheesecake in hand, beneath the cloak she's probably as thin as a reed, so, yeah, sweet foods don't seem to have had much of a negative impact on Doll Zero.

She does relax a bit when Ibuki doesn't flip out in righteous anger, and does smile a muted smile at the comment about cheesecakes. "No, nothing like that. I am just taking time off. Relaxing, with good food, in a fairly peaceful place, where the weather isn't so bad.".

Ibuki grins, "Hmm, maybe so. Though I think apples are really really good...when they are just right, you know?" It seems Ibuki too has a sweet tooth but she seems to favor the 'healthy' sweets, but perhaps not as much as she's saying since she's eating a great deal of Cammy's cheesecake after all. "Yeah, some people are just lucky to be gifted that way." Her tone a little odd in her response, it's quite obvious that Ibuki is in very good shape for a girl her age.

Not that Ibuki can tell about about Cammy underneath her cloak, but it's safe to say given what she can see or the little bit that's visible due to Cammy opening the cloak a little so she can handle her food, the Doll is in pretty good shape.

Finishing off her current slice of cake, Ibuki leans back slightly answering Cammy's muted smile with a warm one, "Relaxing is essential." She nods obviously approving of Cammy's idea, "Especially after you've been busy for a while doing things, like mid terms and stuff." Stuff meaning fighting in a tournament of course, not that she says that aloud.

Cammy apparently has something in common with Ibuki after all then - both being way too fit than they should be! Ibuki has something up on Cammy though as the Doll doesn't even know what a mid term is. "Mid terms?" she asks, looking curious, while she goes back to eying the food as her cheesecake gets devoured by Ibuki, with a small sigh.

She needs to work on being assertive, she thinks. Well, assertive for her own ends, rather than just those of Lord Vega, that part is easy.

"I don't really get to relax that much." she says mournfully. "Well, not on my own anyway. Ugh. Everything is rush rush rush, so busy all the time.".

Ibuki just slowly blinks at Cammy, slightly dumbfounded that something as common as mid-terms she wasn't familiar with, though had her village not allowed her to attend a normal high school she might've been in the same condition. So instead of letting on to her surprise Ibuki decides just to explain, "Tests during the mid point of a school term, to see how you're doing." She grins and then winks, "Though you were saying that to mess with me weren't you?" It seems the ninja is giving the Doll a way out of showing off that she's not a normal girl her age either.

"You should take more time to relax then, you don't help yourself with overwork. You just get sloppy if you push yourself too much." She straightens up from her slightly reclined position, "Go on a date or hang out with friends, I'm sure a break every once in a while would be good for you."

Ibuki looks the other girl over again, it seems that her conversation partner was a bit of a workaholic that didn't let herself enjoy her life. Something in Ibuki demanded that she try and help this girl have some fun and relax, Cammy almost sounded like she was forced to go through crazy ninja training all the time too...but somehow had even less fun than Ibuki did.

Oh, if only Ibuki knew.

But Cammy isn't known for her social charm really, the Killer Bee is supposed to be just a shell after all, a spare body for Vega. That said, something did go a bit adrift, so her mouth half opens for a moment, and she assumes a thoughtful expression as Ibuki gives her something of a nudge. "Uh. ...yes?" she asks, eyes widening slightly as she looks to see if that was the right answer.

"Hmm, well, I do hang with my friends all the time but they aren't nearly as talkative as you are." Cammy observes. "And they don't really relax much either. All work, you see. Like me. I do get to come here every so often, though. Like now.".

Cammy's brow furrows as she thinks a bit about what she's saying. It's almost like what Adelheid was on about last night. "I am not complaining though." she says stubbornly. "I am very, /very/ happy with my life. No need to relax any more.".

Ibuki, however, remains blissfully ignorant.

Chuckling at Cammy's response, "I thought so." Ibuki then kindly moves on slightly, "School can definitely be work sometimes but pretending to not know stuff about it, that's a first. You've got a silly sense of humor Cammy." Ibuki stretches and leans back again folding her hands behind her head and looking up at the blue sky while they talk.

Ibuki's eyes pan over slightly as she tilts her head slightly in her grip, "Are they friends or people you go to school with or work with?" She pauses, "Because there is a slight difference you know!" Pausing again before she adds, "Though if they are your friends you all need to relax and go see a movie or something."

"Of course not." Ibuki understands somewhat, she loves her village and would do anything for them, just sometimes she wants to really be normal and get away for a while though the last part causes Ibuki to raise an eyebrow, "There's plenty of reason to relax, it's like sweets too much work is a bad thing. You need to let your frustrations out or you'll go crazy!" Well Ibuki knows she would if she didn't have a little fun and normalcy in her life.

Cammy has plenty of fun really - serving Lord Vega is fun. She doesn't have any normalcy whatsoever, however. "Silly sense of humour, yes, I suppose I have." she mumbles, though at least she knows what a mid term is.

She wipes her hands idly on her cloak, sticky with earlier cheesecake and as yet unwashed, and replies, "Well, they are family, really. Sisters. And we do have a television. And a Parcheesi board, and a few other things as well. We have a very good life!" she maintains. And it is true to an extent, Vega does spoil the Dolls a bit really. "But, I still like to have time off.".

A metaphor surfaces somewhere in Cammy's mind, so she suddenly focuses upon Ibuki fully, casting an intense gaze upon her. "Like. You go to school, right? You have looks of friends at school, I am sure. But sometimes, it's good to get away from your schoolfriends, no? As they may be your friends but they are still part of school.". Really, Cammy thinks it an excellent analogy!

looks = lots, ugh, aphasia or something again

Ibuki can't quite leave Cammy alone about how half hearted she's being with her replies about not knowing the meaning of mid term, "Or maybe you were serious?" The ninja girl gets deadly serious for a brief moment going completely quiet as the just stares at Cammy before she starts to laugh and falls backwards onto her back, "You totally need to laugh more you know that Cammy, it might make you more relaxed too."

Perking up as the other girl mentions family, Ibuki listens closely and she practically falls over at Cammy's description of their things, "Do you watch the TV? Do you play Parcheesi?" She asks simply expecting no's to both questions but she doesn't push it too far.

The metaphor is indeed a good, though totally opposite of what Ibuki would say, that is basically how she feels about her village, she's very close with everyone there but she just wants to get away and be normal from time to time and school is one of those escapes, "Yeah, I get what you mean. It's good to have some 'me' time every so often." The intense gaze from Cammy did manage to drive home how strongly she felt about it though.

A moment of silence passes as Ibuki is thoughtful, then a slow slightly mischievous grin spreads across her lips, "So...Cammy...do you like to sneak out and go boy hunting? You know find a cute guy and take him on a date?" The ninja girl is suddenly sitting up straight looking very intently at Cammy.

Cammy really isn't quite sure what Ibuki wants now! "Serious?". Maybe she got the wrong answer, but then Ibuki starts laughing, which just confuses Cammy all the more. She sits there, quiet, until Ibuki is done laughing, sure that if she said anything she'd just make it worse, somehow.

"I watch TV, yes. It's not very interesting, though. What I do when there is nothing better to do. And, hmm. I can't remember if we play parcheesi or not. Not recently.". She holds up one hand apologetically. "I have a bad memory.".

"Boy hunting?". She's nodding for a while, as yes, the Killer Bee is an equal opportunities assassin, but then the nodding turns into head shaking as Ibuki elaborates. And then she's thinking. Well, she did kinda try to find Quon a little while ago, but that was only for a rematch at the arcade. (Poor Quon). But Ibuki is staring rather intently, which just makes the Doll blush, very slightly.

"Umm. No, nothing like that, I think." she says slowly. "I do not think that would be a very good idea.".

"Serious about not knowing what mid term meant." Ibuki explains after a moment of letting herself breath after her laughing fit. She just shakes her head slowly at Cammy before grinning at her widely, Ibuki seems to enjoy teasing Cammy a little bit.

Ibuki shakes her head, "I'd totally love to have a TV at home, I'd watch all sorts of things if I could. You should watch it more and then tell me about the cool shows!" She enthuses before listening quietly again. "Hmm, I guess I can't ask more about it then if you don't really remember all that well." She reclines back again, "Though we need to work on your memory if you're going to tell me about the good TV shows." It seems that's a done deal in Ibuki's mind.

As Cammy nods her head, Ibuki grins super wide and she eagerly awaits the details while she explains her meaning thoughte sudden shaking of her head causes Ibuki to frown slightly as she stops speaking. "That's no fun at all, I was hoping you at least ha d a guy to talk about." She sighs.

Then the news gets worse, it seems the other girl didn't think it'd be a good idea to even like a guy, "What do you mean? Too shy? What?" Ibuki grills Cammy in rapid fire manner, though in the back part of her mind there is a little voice saying, as long as you're in training no dating for you either, "Well?!" She's very pointedly looking at the blond waiting for the story.

Cammy shakes her head. "No, really. TV is not very interesting. Very dull. Game shows, and all sorts.". She straightens up a bit at this 'done deal'. "No! I couldn't remember it all if I wanted to!" she protests. "And I don't really know you very much yet anyway." she mutters, subsiding a little.

But then Ibuki is back on boys again. "Too shy? ...maybe? I don't really know. Not really. Who cares? It doesn't matter much. It would be difficult, my, uh, family life would make it very hard. Also I have a few particularly annoying associates, who probably would take offence, I suppose.". Like a certain psychotic Spanish ninja, for example.

"You only say that since you have TV, if you didn't have it you'd think it was super neat!" Ibuki practically pouts at Cammy, the she sighs, "You could try couldn't you?" Ibuki makes her eyes as big and watery as possible, yep the puppy dog look, "You don't know me very well yet! We could hang out and have fun together sometime and become friends." She smiles yet again.

Then back to boys and she snorts at Cammy's reply, "It totally matters, guys can be really awesome if you can find the right ones." She nods to herself at this 'fact', "But there are a lot of jerks out there too." She shakes her head, "Sometimes I'd agree with you it's not worth it, but when things are going good it's awesome and lots of fun!" She blinks at the family thing and then the bit about the associate, "...well...you could keep him a secret from you family, though I, umm, don't recommend that." She flinches thinking back to the last time she got caught on a date, training was hell that week, "As for you associate, if he's a problem I'll totally beat him up for you! I'm the strongest girl in the world!!!" She pumps her fist into the air, "...not really, though." Then she flops back, "It might seem hard but it's worth it you know and it is really fun, kinda like a roller coaster ride with your heart." She shrugs, "But if you're not into that we can go window shopping and find good places to find sweets." Ibuki winks playfully.

Maybe Ibuki's puppydog eyes would work on most people, but this is a (mostly) emotionless Doll ninja assassin we're talking about. Cammy just looks at her blankly throughout the pleading look, though when Ibuki offers hang out time and friendship, Cammy does actually nod. "Well, maybe. We shall see, but it would be nice.".

And then Cammy is blinking, confused, as Ibuki expounds - at some length - about the virtues and vices of the other half of the gender war. She really barely knows where to begin. "No secrets! No!" she says firmly. It takes an effort of willpower on her part to not go into an exposition of her own about how wonderful Lord Vega is, but she does manage to bite her tongue. "And no, do not beat him up! He is very dangerous. And it is not appropriate. It really is not! You will have to just accept it, I suppose. And I don't even care for it. It is pointless.".

Ah, a change of subject, finally, thank the Lord. "Window shopping and sweets, that sounds a lot better." she says, looking relieved.

It seems the puppydog eyes had no effect on Cammy, the ninja girl sighs, and then chuckles slightly she'll remember that has no effect for the future. Ibuki grins as the Doll actually seems interested in the offer of friendship, "I understand, it's nice to have friends outside your family sometimes." She chuckles again.

Ibuki stiffles any chuckles as Cammy quickly replies then nods in regards to the secret thing, she actually really understood not keeping something like that from family, though it didn't mean she'd not tease the other girl about it. She waves her hand at Cammy, "I wasn't serious about that anyway, it wouldn't do at all for me to do that, especially since we're not really good friends yet." She winks as she stresses yet in that sentence, "Maybe someday if you hang out with me long enough, you'll change your opinion about whether you care for dating guys or not!" With that she lets the matter drop.

Ibuki nods, "Window shoping doesn't harm anything and has little chance to upset anyone, and a little exercise works the sweets off so no harm there either." She looks up at the sky again, "Though an amusement or water park might be fun to go to sometime in the future too." Ibuki seems to already be making plans for future hanging out.

Cammy shrugs. "Maybe I will change my mind. Maybe not.". The Doll is clearly absolutely certain she will not, and rather transparently just getting Ibuki to drop it. Which Ibuki does, so it works, pretty much!

"Window shopping, I guess. We can do some of that. I'm not sure what we would buy though. A new cloak, I guess, as you don't like the one I got on now.". She looks down at it mournfully, runs a hand over the material. She's worn this thing for so long that she's got kinda attached to it. It's been theatrically discarded before a fight in countless locations as well, and usually Cammy wins! It's a lucky cloak.

"And sweets, I guess also. I wonder if you go to cities other than this one? I don't really like Japanese sweets much.". Indeed in Cammy's mind they barely count as sweets, ugh. "The US has much nicer confectionery I think. I travel there sometimes. Maybe you do too?". For most seventeen year old girls this may be strange, but in a world filled with ninjas and criminals, maybe a bit less so.

Nodding her head Ibuki continues with the window shopping discussion, "I didn't say I disliked it, I just said it stands out as a bit odd." She then kinda looks away and mutters, "I'm not sure any stores here would sell cloaks anyway, maybe a poncho..." Shaking her head, "Besides the point of window shopping isn't to buy something unless there's something you really like, it's just to look!"

"I kind of grew up with them, so I like Japanese sweets." Ibuki admits, "But you do know we have cake shops here right? They sell all sorts of things like cheesecake, carrot cake, cupcakes, pudding, and all sorts of desserts right?" She then leans forward, "Umm I think I've been once to the US." She's been a few times but she's not going to admit that to after all, "But I was pretty young. I'm guessing you travel a lot then Cammy?"

"I have seen some of the shops. I know it's not all those horrible salty biscuit things." Cammy reassures Ibuki with a slight smile. Maybe Ibuki is a bit defensive. "I'm not trying to be insulting of the local sweets or anything. I did come here after all to relax, didn't I, not Metro City or anywhere like that.".

And she nods. "I travel quite a lot, yes. But usually in Japan, it seems. Southtown more often than not. If you ever see me again, after today, I'm sure it'd be most likely to be here.". Which is probably a fairly accurate assessment, unless Ibuki likes to wander around in Thailand and knock over Shadaloo bases or something.

Ibuki nods slowly, "There are other desserts too, like sweet buns filled with red bean paste, which is quite good!" It seems she's at least a little proud of Japanese desserts. "That's true it's just I like trying different things so I guess I was just wanting you to try some other stuff too." She admits a bit sheepishly.

Ibuki perks up and listens to Cammy talk about her travel though she doesn't say much about it really, "Hmm well, I hope to see you around here a lot more then, though I'm kinda going between here and Kyoto at the moment, my parents want me to look at some of the nicer schools in the area, heh." She smirks, "So what keeps you coming back to Southtown? The mix of east and west?"

Cammy has tried the bean paste. But it's polite to say nothing, right? She smiles a thin smile at Ibuki, and says, "Sounds like it will be fun. I will see more of what this place has to offer, then, if you like. And maybe we'll go to Metro City at one point afterwards.". Gastronome ninjas touring the world, whatever next.

"Yes, I suppose, the mix of east and west. It makes it an interesting place. I seem to meet the most interesting people here, too... And I think I'd like the beach, at least when the weather is better.". Now she thinks about it, she can't actually really remember her last summer here. Blah.

Somehow the silence tips Ibuki off to the fact Cammy might just be trying to be polite about the Japanese desserts, though now Ibuki was begining to take it as a challenge to find a Japanese confection she'll like! "We'll definitely have to do something like that then! Hmm, I don't know, I'd probably have to save up to go the US, though maybe my family might send me!" She leaves it at that with a small smile on her lips.

"The beach? You like hitting the beach hmm?" Ibuki grins slowly as an idea seems to form in the back of her mind, "Yeah! We'll go to beach too sometime..." Then she shakes her head before continuing about Southtown, "It's a pretty cool place actually, though I'll miss my best friend if I wind up coming to live here, maybe I can convince her to go to college here." It seems the ninja girl has a lot plotting to do.

Cammy nods, and ponders. "Well, maybe I could get you to the US. I'm not sure.". She thinks about it, and thinks Master Vega would likely not approve of Shadaloo resources being used this way, so she eventually shakes her head. "Perhaps not. I guess Southtown is best for all concerned. If need be I can bring some food from there, here.".

As for the beach, well. "Not sure about the beach, but it's nice to walk along it with the sea there, even in the cold. So I'm sure it's even better with the sun shining. Who is your best friend?" she asks, now curious.

"Really?!" Ibuki perks up, apparently her new friend was rich? Then after the moment of thought and Cammy changing her statement she sighs, "Don't get my hopes up like that!" She chuckles and pouts playfully at Cammy for a moment before nodding, "Though that sounds fine, I'll remember to bring something back if I go anywhere outside of Japan for you."

Ibuki smirks, this could work well once summer got here, "The beach is absolutely great, lots of fun, playing volleyball, and other stuff, eating a water melon, swimming, all of it! Though we'd have to get you a swim suit...maybe a bikini." Ibuki nods to herself, "Huh? Oh my friend?!" She grins and pulls out her little cell phone and fiddles with it a moment before pulling up a picture and showing it to Cammy, it's of another girl dressed in a similar uniform with a pair of yellow goggles strapped across her forehead, "My best friend Sarai! Isn't she cute?!"

Cammy smiles a faint smile at Ibuki. Really, by Doll standards this is practically a comedy riot, especially so soon after the last brainwashing. Something inside Cammy hopes that Lord Vega will not be too displeased when (and its when, not if) he finds out, it'd suck to have to forget Ibuki, she decides.

"I'm sorry. I'll come back here when it's time to meet again." she promises.

"Volleyball, mm, maybe.". She sounds kinda doubtful. "But swimming and water melons sound OK. I have a swimsuit of sorts!". Her Doll uniform is all weather, all environments, after all! "I am amused how you assume I am totally unprepared for anything. I am very prepared." she assures Ibuki, though it's true that her idea of preparation is probably a bit different to Ibuki's.

She then leans forward to peer at the cellphone. "Sarai." she says, blue eyes intensely focused, someone else being committed to the memory bank. "Is she? Very well." she agrees, happily deferring to Ibuki on judgments of cuteness.

Ibuki has a small circle of friends outside her village so she's always more than happy to make a new one, even if they are a little off putting by showing so little emotion, but she figures that can be chocked up to moving around as much as Cammy does, it's hard to get close to people when you're on the go all the time.

"Well you never know we might run into each other elsewhere in Southtown!" It's also possible they might run into one another at bigger events too, not that she realizes that right now.

"You don't like sports or you'd just rather relax?" Ibuki questions her dubious new friend, she thumbs up, "Oh?" Ibuki blinks after the swimsuit of sorts comment. She raises an eyebrow, "Is it a cute swimsuit? What do you mean by 'of sorts'?" She leans forward, "Hmm, I don't know you don't seem prepared for boy hunting at all!" She counters Cammy's assertion that she's very prepared.

Ibuki puts away her phone and grins, "Yep, she's really nice though she can be a bit ditzy at times, but she's overall a really great person and fun to hang out with. I'm sure she'd like you if we all hung out." She nods very sure this would be the case, nodding to affirm that Sarai is indeed cute.

Cammy really is on the go all the time! That just adds to her problems, presumably. "We might meet up elsewhere in Southtown, yes." she agrees, and shakes her head slightly with a rueful smile. Ibuki is like an energiser bunny, with all this enthusiasm and all these questions.

"Oh no, I like sports. Just never played volleyball before, is all. Is it a cute swimsuit? I am not sure." she says, honestly enough. "I think so. It's not really a swimsuit, it's a sort of all weather garment, really. I've been dumped into rivers wearing it before though." she offers helpfully. "And Sarai, well, OK..." she says warily, suddenly initiated into what is apparently a wide circle of friends.

"I suppose I should get moving, we've been talking for a long time, and I suppose I should return home. I am not sure how we will arrange to meet again. I suppose I could find you, when I take time off again. If you are easy to find, anyway?" she asks, giving Ibuki a quizzical look. "Which school do you go to?".

Ibuki nods in reply to meeting up in Southtown again. Then Cammy answers her question about sports and volleyball, "It's pretty fun, I'll teach you the basics of the game, we'd only play for fun so it's not like we have to be heavy handed with the rules." The ninja girl admits. Then Cammy mentions that it's not really a swimsuit but some sort of all weather uniform thing, much like her own ninja gear, and thus Ibuki shakes her head, "That will not do Cammy!"

"If one is going to the beach and trying to enjoy it to the fullest, dressing the part is important, that means fun and cute swimwear!" Ibuki says this with finality like there is no choice but to agree on this point, "Hmm?" She stares at Cammy hearing the wary tone after mentioning hanging out with Sarai but then she just lets it go for the moment.

"Oh yeah...we've been talking for a while now." She chuckles, "Hmm, good question, you don't happen to have a cellphone do you?" Ibuki thinks about that for a moment, "...umm how about I give you my email address, you can get ahold of me that way?"

"It does look somewhat like a swimsuit!" Cammy protests. "I could take off the tie." she wonders under her breath. "I am not sure about everything having to be 'cute', anyway." says Cammy, which is ironic as she's a bundle of cute anyway really even if the robo-Doll doesn't think of herself in that way.

"No, I do not have a cellphone. It is not allowed.". She does have her comms headset that she uses when Marz isn't around, but it's not like she can take external calls on that. "Email is fine. I have some anonymous accounts I can use.".

Ibuki folds her arms and shakes her head, "Denied, you must look cute at the beach, it's an unbreakable rule of the beach." The ninja girl seems dead set on dragging Cammy to purchase a actual swimsuit, "Trust me, cute is good, it will be for your own good. You'll fit in more...." She smirks and congratulates herself on using Cammy's apparent desire to not draw attention to her benefit, "But anyway, here's my email." She offers a little piece of paper that she's scratched out her email address really quickly using a pencil. Ibuki stands up, dusts herself off, then waves, "I guess I'll see you later then Cammy."

Cammy takes the paper, stuffs it into a voluminous cloak pocket. "Mmmm. It is winter. Too cold for swimsuits.". Evade -> dodge.

"Thank you for your email. I will write to you, next time I have time off." she promises. And then the Doll stalks off into the city, she's late, she's late!
