Description: The lovely dancer Pullum invites Yuri for a little dancing in the dark in the Neo League.
Perhaps the people at Neo League wanted at least /one/ Halloween themed fight, not that Pullum was all too familiar with it! The October custom, while still far away, lead to the choice of a rotting, warn down old castle.
To make matters more interesting, it couldn't even be driven to. The fighters were forced to walk up the stairs to the midsection of the castle, stone steps leading to the main yard, stone and lichens mixed about on the elder ground.
It's quite the sight, and Pullum isn't quite sure what to make of it. On one hand, it's really giving her some poor vibes. A dark prince, some of them talked about - how chilling. But still, it was a wonder, especially the cliffside that it rests upon. How they managed to build it so far away!
Standing now in the yard of the castle, stairs about, leading to many an entry, Pullum glances about - of course they made it occur during the bewitching hours, though there's plenty of light - provided, of course, for the cameras. "And no one lives here, anymore? .. How peculiar." It's rather majestic, in its own way.
Freeman arrives from elsewhere.
Most of the crewmembers might have chosen to walk to the general location, as well as Pullum herself. Then again, it would be understandable for Pullum, given that those slippers she wears don't exactly look very comfortable for running in. But there's at least one person who's not keen on walking here in the least bit. It could be her impatience, it could be her spunkiness. But it's evident there's one person here who's actually RUNNING to get into the castle!
It's Yuri herself, the opponent of Pullum's who shows no sign of fear or nervousness with this whole place. In fact, she actually seems to be enjoying it. She dashes in grinning and looking around, skimming past Pullum as she takes in the various sights and sounds of the castle. It's almost like it's a playground to her instead of just a fighting arena or a horror attraction.
That is, of course, untill she sees what looks like a giant spider nearby, and she stops in her steps and shrieks, reeling back! Of course, it's just a regular spider's web with a spider in it, and the shadow looks larger than usual due to the lighting. But Yuri doesn't really care, she HATES spiders!
"Ahh! Get it away from me!" Yuri yells like a little girl as she jumps back, looking like she'd just seen a ghost or something. For a moment she tries to regain her composure and looks around, not caring at the other staffers staring at her. But then she spots Pullum again and grins nervously. "Oh, it's just a spider," She says, obviously lying as she adds, "I knew it all along, I just added it for effect!" She giggles nervously, but it's obvious Yuri was freaked out. Of course, there's a fight about to start and Yuri's not gonna let a spider bother her once that gets underway.
As Yuri barrels upwards, into the castle, Pullum's slow and steady approach ( to not slip on the way up! ) gives her quite a bit of time to watch as Yuri powers around, taking in the locale and everything the spoooky castle has to offer. Standing somewhat in place and watching Yuri speed along, Pullum sees a bit more than she'd have expected to see -
Until the Spider.
She shrieks, backing up as a small spider catches the light, and Yuri's fear! What terrible fear it is, too! Terrible, terrible fear. "You're quite the actor then." Pullum notes, smiling. "You should see the spiders that we have back home... they don't make many webs, but they're quite big!" Camel spiders. Nasty things. She puts about a foot between her hands, smiling to Yuri - and then realizing it's a bad idea.
"Maybe you shouldn't, actually." She bows in apology, but even then - she had not come to console a poor girl about her spider fear. She had came to ... fight the girl with a spider fear!
Wiggling her hips a bit, Pullum begins the motions of a dance, "But it's okay, I'll remove all of those frightening thoughts - just focus on me, okay?" She grins, bending a bit backwards, hands moving close, but not against her frame, as she raises a leg and lets her hands hang, right before she 'flips' backwards, back to a standing position, landing ona slightly raised stone, plants growing about it, her arms up.
"I'm sure they're waiting, too!" The cameras, that is.

Yuri isn't focusing too much on Pullum's dancing. Or, rather she is, but only secondarily as she takes the moment to warm up and stretch herself out before the fight that's about to take place begins. She utilizes her playful attitude towards her warming up, coupled with her big grin. After a few moments, Yuri finishes up just in time to see Pullum lean against a nearby plant. "Spiders that big where you come from? Uh, no. I don't think so!" She shakes her head.
After finishing her warm-up, Yuri gets into her fighting stance and throws a few attacks to make sure the blood is flowing through her body properly. Then she resumes her fighting stance, bouncing on her heels as part of her unique touch to her Kyokugen fighting style. "Now, I'm gonna show you what Kyokugen is all about!" Yuri calls out to Pullum before rushing at her and attempting to deliver a swift jab to her exposed belly.

A short bout of laughter is emitted from Pullum as she hears Yuri's words. Oh, of course she doesn't want to hear about it! She can completely understand. Well, perhaps a little. She has her own fears, but they're not such small ( or legged ) creatures, or things. "Please do - and I will show you my own!"
Yuri's a bit fast, the swift jab smashing into the exposed flesh of her stomach, causing Pullum to double over, slightly. Perhaps she shouldn't have said please! The impact is short, but powerful, and Pullum staggers backwards, despite her attempt to dissuade the quick punch. "You are .. quite fast!"
Getting it back together, Pullum dances forwards, twisting around as she thrusts out a leg to knock up Yuri, rotating her body, arms swinging to smash into her before she could land!

"I'm not just fast, I'm skilled too!" Yuri says with a big grin as she resumes her fighting stance after successfully striking Pullum in the stomach. She seems a bit too arrogant for her own good, but that's just how Yuri is. She seems ready for just about anything, even when Pullum attempts to deliver that swift kick, which Yuri seems intent on defending against, but she's too slow for Pullum's legs. In fact, it seems the dancer may have a skill that gives her an advantage over Yuri's standard Kyokugen fighting art.
Yuri gets caught and lifted by Pullum, and is then smashed, causing her to grunt twice, once with each hit, and then she goes down to the ground. She winces and grasps at her side for a moment, before rolling onto her good side to get back up, a little bruised, but still smiling. "You're a good slam dancer, you know that?" She laughs loudly, before shaking her head and saying, "But it's not gonna be enough if you can't keep up with the awesomeness of my power!" She brings one hand back, and then thrusts it forward with a blast of energy flying at Pullum.

"Hmm, oh?" Pullum asks, smiling herself - but perhaps not quite enough attention is being paid. Yuri manages to get up without much trouble afterwards, but her response to her - with the awesome power of the ko'ou ken, is too much. Again, Pullum moves towards what she assumes would be a safe way to take the energy head on -
But it breaks through her guard, tossing her to the ground, as she rolls backwards. "Ah!" The energy sears against her arms, and then body. It's not a good feeling - but she's going to have to get used to it.
As she rolls backwards, she leaps to her feet, despite the pain, focusing on Yuri once more - it's a long shot, but she has to try it.
From her roll, she kicks off against one of the wall, spinning before landing, and flipping as she hits the ground, leading towards Yuri - but ducks low, hooking a leg towards Yuri's own, to upset her balance, and perhaps her dominance of the fight!

Yuri's impressed at Pullum's acrobatic prowess and dancing skills. She watches Pullum carefully and watches as she does her acrobatic tricks, wondering what Pullum has in store next. And when she sees Pullum coming directly for her, Yuri feigns as if she doesn't know what to do, untill the last minute, when she jumps upwards and does a backwards somersault in the air, landing on the ground with a raspberry being given. "You missed me!"
Yuri shakes her head at Pullum and gets back into her fighting stance, but she doesn't seem to do anything this time. Instead, she simply keeps her eyes focused on Pullum, looking more like she's watching her to see if she's gonna do more tricks for Yuri or not.

What a raspberry! "Why yes, I did." Pullum responds, good-naturedly, as she pops back up to her feet, Yuri somersaulting backwards and moving to simpl watch her. "Oooh, an audiance!" She exclaims, grinning. She bends forwards, swaying back and forth.
"I should show you something /really/ good then!" With a bout of excitement in her voice, Pullum kicks forwards, launching into the air, a knee raised for the rise, and as she falls, she leaps towards Yuri - and past.
Her body twists as her leg hits the ground, leaving Pullum to move into a pin-wheel like motion, the following leg whipping around like a propeller as she slowly retracts it, smashing into Yuri multiple times if she's not capable of escaping the long leg of the lady!

"Like you can impress me?" Yuri asks, grinning. That is, untill she sees Pullum starting her next trick, and Yuri gets serious once again. She watches Pullum start to spin like a pinwheel and Yuri prepares to fight back by bringing her fists up while covered with her chi, almost like a makeshift shield. Unfortunately, sometimes even the best defensive maneuvers can't always prevent one from getting hit even when they're expecting it.
Yuri finds herself a bit too clumsy with her attempt to deflect Pullum away, and instead of getting her opponent away from her, Yuri finds herself getting hit by Pullum's feet and legs several times and dropping to the ground like a sack of potatoes. (Even if she is only wearing slippers, she still packs a mean kick!)
Yuri lies facedown, moaning a little in pain as she clutches at her stomach and then her chin. She then sounds like she's about to start crying, but instead she forces herself back up. This time, she holds her side with one hand while her face shows a few more bruises this time. "I guess I underestimated you that time, but I'm still ready for your dancing tricks!" Yuri says, a little weakly but still just as brash and arrogant as ever.
The chi formed 'shield' is brought upwards, but she manages to be a bit too unpredictable, or perhaps, Yuri just was a little sloppy. As Yuri lies facedown, Pullum takes a few short hops backwards, still in motion. The pain moans not the best sound - she learned, with a little help from Sakura's spring loaded kicks, just what that sound feels like. "I hope to make it worth everyone's while!" She claims, "Including those watching." Maybe not just the fight, at this rate.
The unfortunate spectacle doesn't do much to keep a smile on her face - and even if it was supposed to be a fight, just like this, it wasn't, she feels, supposed to have the girl so wounded! But that is something unavoidable. "Then I'll have to make it that much intersting then!"
If nothing, she's nice to watch. Again she spins, a forward twist, before she reverses it - but still moves towards Yuri. A third hop and no spin is the next sight, and with it, a two palms launched straight towards Yuri's midsection, as Pullum ducks somewhat low.
She doesn't like going for the head.

Going for the head is generally unadvisable for most fighters. Namely because you run a risk of causing unnecessary injury to your opponent, and the promoters do not like people who use roughness unnecessarily. Then again, there are many fighters who will stoop to lower standards when they fight, and nothing happens to them. Yuri, however, has been berated many times for attempting to injure her opponent by her father and forced to do extra physical work as punishment, although that is usually a result of her yelling back at her father rather than the injury attempt itself. Yeah, her father may be her master, but that doesn't mean she's always respectful towards him when he's mad.
While she's slightly hunched over and trying to catch her breath, Yuri still remains able to keep herself ready for incoming attacks if the need should arise. And Pullum's punch may pack power, but the lack of speed will be the downfall, since Yuri is literally able to spot it a mile away as she brings her fists up to her midsection and uses the forearms to deflect the incoming punch. Of course, it does hurt her wrists, but it's not as serious as it might have had it actually landed.
"OK, you've had your fun, now it's time for mine!" Yuri says after taking a couple more deep breaths to get her head focused again. "Let me show you one of my favorite tricks!" With that, Yuri rushes at Pullum and attempts to deliver an attack not unlike the Dragon Punch, except Yuri's is a little swifter with more of an emphasis on the run as opposed to the rise!

The literal mile away sight of her attack is not surprising - Pullum had heard Yuri state that she was not going to be surprised again! And, true to her words, Yuri was anything but surprised by her attack! Yuri deflects the incoming punch, pushing it away, as Pullum hops to the side - moving with the deflection.
Why? Because the dancer has seen a few fights - and in those few fights, every failed attempt for one fighter is another fighters chance to get back into it! Why does an Arabian 'princess' watch fights? Because she has to become a warrior arabian 'princess'. It was never her intention to get onto the fighting scene - up until her father fell mysteriously into a coma.
Surprising, though, that her love of dance translated so well into skill at combat.
Yuri's rush is a fast one - and Pullum can't see a way through it. So she has to go with the flow, so to speak, Yuri's rising dragon uppercut punch plowing first into her hands, the dancer 'catching' the assault ( and having it slam hard enough into her midsection for her to nearly hack and cough from the impact, as well as plant seeds for future bruises ) and riding the blow upwards.
She pushes off at the end, wincing - but seeing it through, for she must! "That really stung, even after that..." She touches against a stone window sill above, "But I'm where I need to be now! Coming down!"
She leaps forwards, and her fall is slowed as she lashes out in the air with her legs - all the effort expended getting up helpfully provided from Yuri. The spinning flashes of light that are created from the swings all seeking her!

"Going up or going down? Make up your mind!" Yuri calls out weakly, but still keeping her eyes on Pullum, even if one is slightly open instead of fully open. But while her physical eyes may not be fully open, her mind's eye is more than open. Yuri's got her eye strongly focused on Pullum and whatever she might be planning next for the Kyokugen girl.
And then she sees the first projectile of the fight from Pullum, and this gives Yuri a brave idea to attempt her reflective attack again. This time, it actually succeeds, as Yuri's chi not only absorbs the incoming projectile attack from Pullum, but it actually sends it back at the dancer. "Hey, you dropped this!" Yuri says with a sarcastic smirk on her face, giving the eyeball and another raspberry. "Catch if you can!"

"But then where's the surprise? It's always better if you're just not sure what's going to happen!" At least, that's what Pullum thinks. It's not a terrible idea to have - for herself. She might change that thought later, if it comes to it. But Yuri's surprises just don't stop coming!
Suddenly, the terrifying assault of her own projectiles rains down against her, a spinning wind blade zipping past her. She kicks once more, forcing her back against the wall, before she springs against it and towards the projectiles.
She twists mid-air, one of the blades whizzing by. Another body rotation, to put her vertical to the ground, as she spirals to avoid another, and touching down before Yuri, she grins before looking up.
Pullum's actually proud of herself so far, "I'm so sorry, I only managed to catch you!" She smiles - and then lashes out with a leg, to lift her upwards - and as she somersaults backwards, lances at her with the other leg to knock her away!

"You almost caught me, but no go!" Yuri says as if predicting her next plan of action. As Pullum kicks at her, Yuri spins to the side and then hops away, meaning that Pullum's slippered foot only catches a bit of air, while Yuri lands away from her, albeit starting to show some signs of getting worn out. "You are giving me a good workout, though, that's for sure!" The girl wipes her forehead, and then spots a sports drink bottle that apparently was left there in an impeccable timing thing, since Yuri's rather thirsty.
Grabbing the sports drink, Yuri opens it and takes a quick swig of it, letting the thirst quenching power do something about her thirst and help her regain a little fight within her.

It's not quite a surprise that Yuri has such speed with her - but it's only a slight bother that Pullum can't /catch/ her! She is used to wide, sweeping assaults - and not so much the quick pecks that, perhaps, Yuri was used to.
But Yuri spins to the side, hopping away - and then grabs a sports drink. Pullum stares, momentarily. "Oh, my... so that's what you focus on?" She asks, shaking her head a bit. "Like a slight taste of water in the desert, it's not going to be enough, I'm afraid!"
She's never had a better time to say that! She almost feels like a real fighter.
She hops forwards, after Yuri, another long extravagant strike towards her midsection - leg first, sweeping it in, followed by a horizontal spin, a palm striking out at her in turn!

"Not enough, huh? Well, you're forgetting that a little goes a long way!" Yuri says with her arrogant grin, thinking she knows what to expect when Pullum comes after her again. "Come on, I can take ya!" Of course, Yuri's phrases of that type should be categorized as the type of phrases that could be considered her famous last words. Because Pullum gets Yuri with all of her strikes. Yuri finds herself wheezing and gasping before dropping to the ground again.
"Owwww..." Yuri groans, holding herself once again and struggling to get back up again. After she finally gets back up, she shows that her grin is replaced with a look of frustration and sternness. "It seems that things are really picking up now, so let me help you with that!" Yuri then steps towards Pullum and attempts to grab onto her shoulders. If successful, Yuri will plant her sneakered feet into Pullum's belly, and then flip over throwing Pullum onto the ground, while Yuri continues to flip and then land on her feet... and add a quick pointing gesture for good measure!

"Oh, I'm sure you can!" Pullum notes, a bit of a smile across her face. Yuri's a very persistant fighter, but Pullum isn't one to count out until the end, either! The wheeze and gasp, though, from a successful strike is not as pleasing - but all fighters start somewhere. "If you're growing too wounded..."
But Pullum doesn't end it, becausewhile Yuri groans and holds herself - getting back up, it doesn't seem like there's much to really /say/. She doesn't seem to be the kind to give up easily! So what will words do? "Oh, they sure are! I've been waiting for you to say something like that!" Pullum's shoulders are grabbed, but the dancer moves with it.
She's flipped to the ground - but her hands shoot out, a response to the foot in her stomach! Wincing, and letting out a cry herself, Pullum springs the trap, pushing hard. Her legs come forwards, giving Yuri an axe-kick, a heel drop downwards as she flips to her feet - hopping a tad away after the sequence break.
"You can't be the only one to push themself here."
Yuri's hit and she goes down to the ground once again. The grunts she lets out aren't just of pain. They're also of frustration as she finds herself being caught off guard by this dancer once again. "You know I'm not trying to hold on anything. I'm just using my standard method of fighting... but it looks like it might not be working right now..." Yuri grunts as she stares at Pullum.

"Oh, I'm sure it's working - It's quite the challenge for me!" As Pullum puts it, kicking from one leg to the other, bouncing between the two as - Yuri stands still again, staring at her. It's certainly growing to be a theme. She's not truly even moving quite much! Interesting indeed.
"If you keep standing there, I'm not sure you'll manage to overcome me, though." She 'teases', kicking forwards, launching herself towards Yuri as the other girl decides to hang back.
A flip forwards and Pullum - slides close - reversing the flip, and reverse axe kicking to send Yuri flying upwards!

Yuri sees Pullum coming at her and attempts to prove her wrong by jumping into the air and demonstrating her projectile attack from before. Or at least, that's what she intends to do. But instead she fails completely, and is caught by Pullum and sent flying. And boy does it hurt! Yuri goes down hard, landing with a loud cry. She struggles to keep herself from passing out, and when she finally does get back up, one of her eyes is barely even open. She's holding her side and hunched over. It's obvious she's hurting.
"That was just a fluke!" Yuri says weakly. "I assure you next time it's gonna hurt more!"
Yuri jumps into the air, but Pullum's a bit faster - putting herself in a defensive position at the end of the assault, she's slightly surprised at the outcome - and as Yuri goes down hard, Pullum shifts her 'stance' again, body swaying as she continually hops and bops in place, her body twisting in continual motion.
"I guess it might have been a fluke," Pullum states, "But it'll be due to your skill if there is a next time!" A determined smile crosses her face as she shoots forwards, towards Yuri. Bounding forwards, hitting the side of the castle wall and bounding through the air, Pullum is like a guided rocket than a dancer at that moment, arcing upwards and spinning down.
As she hits the ground, and Yuri, ( and if ) her leg shoots outwards, knee slamming her outwards, then leg pulling her back in, the spiral moving upwards and into the air, and Yuri, if she was unfortunate enough to get caught!
After it's all over, Pullum would leap away.

Yuri's got nothing left to give for this fight. She's doing what she can to stay standing tall, but all the injury she's sustained during this battle. There's no way she's avoiding Pullum's incoming attack. She's grabbed, she's spun around, she's kicked, and all that other good stuff. And then Yuri falls to the ground, landing in a semi-crumpled position. Trying to get back onto her feet, it looks futile, but Yuri still keeps trying.
"Consider this..." Yuri weakly says, "My.... parting... gift... HYAAAAAAH!" And then Yuri sends forth a HUGE blast of energy, one that rivals what happened before.

After that blast is sent, Yuri flops over forward, lying flat on her face out cold.
As Pullum kicks back, landing on her feet, she watches as Yuri falls, crashing to the floor of the castle. The slippers manage to stay put, and surprisingly, not slip on the lichens that coat the ground - but Yuri never gives up. A massive blast of energy shoots forwards, towards her - something she's seen before - and the effects. It's not pretty. Flipping backwards, Pullum raises her arms - taking the blow a different way - the force sending her crashing against the wall.
But with the added space, it's worse than having her simply crash against the wall. It's a controlled crash.
As the force dissipates, the massive burst of energy subsiding, Pullum flips forwards, off the wall, no longer being pressed against it - she doesn't look too good, but she's also not on the ground.
"And what a gift it was..." Pullum comments, shaking her arms out. She almost can feel her arms sizzling! "You were quite the challenge... I am glad I was able to fight someone as strong as you."
